Nero, in the shape of a raven was watching the whole thing from a tree nearby... "Hmm..." he thought "I guess I will be able to see his sword in battle soon... I am really looking forward to it, since this will be the first time I will battle against one of the 7 swordsmen of the Mist... And this will also be the first time I'll ever see one of the swords of one of the 7 swordsmen... Anyway... It will be far more interesting since the one I will battle is also an ANBU, at the same time Xyxer... Someone whom I have met before... Someone I know, someone I knew... I knew him when he was weak, when he was nothing like the way he is right now... Let's see how much he has gotten stronger... Let's see how much I have gotten stronger... Let's see if I have spared my time or have trained enough... Let's see if I'm really worth to be an ANBU. I will face my mistakes, and I will see if I'm doing allright or not...".

Nero then remembered a short scene from his past... It was from the times he was a Genin, in the team of his clanmate, Raito Yamaki... The scene is the spar he had against Habee, whom he has not seen for a very long while (also this made Nero very worried about him, since he swore himself to protect the Uchiha boy... Anyway...) and Xyxer. Now it made Nero think of another chance. "Maybe..." he thought "Maybe Habee hasn't died, and he left the village to become a missing-nin... He is an Uchiha after all... I've heard many stories about their "Curse of hatred"... Anyway, let's see what Xyxer is going to do... Let's see if he has gotten stronger than me... I should test both his and my strength, also our speed and how we use them... I also wonder what kind of jutsus or abilities he has...". Nero's clone would get up form the ground, and wait or Xyxer to get ready for the spar...

Xyxer just droppped down onto the water and sat there, staring down into the water with his single amber eye. He didn't want to make himself run out of breath if his opponent wasn't going to do the same. Instead, he just took his time while he sat down, casually looking around his body to see the vast stretch of water that he had created from his own chakra, it impressed him. "You seem to be using a much more violent version of that jutsu from when we were younger" Xyxer said softly, "I guess old habits die hard, huh?" After that, he just pushed his body up from the ground and got ready for the next fight; his hand briefly moving onto his back before he pulled off the giant sword that he had personally forged for himself. The sword looked extremely heavy but Xyxer didn't even seem to struggle with the weight that the sword clearly had. He just stood waiting for the move of Nero.

"You seem to be using a much more violent version
of that jutsu from when we were younger" Xyxer said softly, "I guess old
habits die hard, huh?" said Xyxer. Nero's clone smiled at him (though Xyxer would've thought he was the actual Nero), and started talking, "Yes, you can say that. Though, you are speaking too soon... I have developed my other techniques too, along with new ones, and new items... Anyway, we can start when you're ready...". He then sat near where Xyxer was, and watched him... He then once again continued speaking "So, I see you have developed your skills more than I did... You have achieved more than what I achieved during the same time... Well, I have to at least congratulate you for that..."...

Xyxer nodded a little and smiled before he began to reply, "I believe we've both accomplished equally. But I thank you for what you've said, it's a rather nice compliment." He chuckled a little before he spoke again, "I would however advise you at least stand up so you can dodge the moves I do, and, well, if you start the attack you might actually win this spar" A confident smile resided on the features of Xyxer as he awaited Nero.

The Konoha jounin answered "Thanks, but I'm sure you have spent your time more efficient than I have......"Nero's clone would once again get up form the ground, getting ready for the spar to begin for real this time. "O.K." Nero said, "Would you like to start with Kenjutsu, or Ninjutsu ? But either way, I want you to use that sword of yours at some point...". Nero's clone, whom Xyxer probably thought to be the real one, stood there, waiting for an answer from the swordsman of the Mist...

Xyxer just smiled and nodded a little before he spoke, "I always like to spice things up, but let's start simple for now." As Xyxer said that, he jumped upwards and slammed the sword downwards towards Nero in a move which would even seem to disrupt the air around them. It was obviously not a blatant attack to kill him but Xyxer was sizing him up this time for something he had planned.

Nero smiled as the ANBU member from the village hidden in the mist said "I always like to spice things up, but let's start simple for now.". "Just the way I like it..." the clone answered as he unsheated his twin baldes from their sheathes. Nero's clone clashed his blades with the huge sword (at least bigger than any of Nero's blades). Nero's clone, (whom once again Xyxer thought to be the real Nero) chuckled as he thought to himself "This is most likely a trick... Is the sword going to explode ? Is it going to go through the clone's swords ? There has to be something to it... That is one of the 7 swords of the Mist after all... It is one more trick up Xyxer's sleeves... Now let's see what it actually is...".

Xyxer saw that his opponent was obviously interested in his sword and seemed to be paying more attention to that than his surroundings. Just what Xyxer needed for his next move. As Xyxer kept the clash, the spikes in his sword and his dominating strength would make it extremely difficult for Nero's clone to escape. And as this happened, he tapped into his Suiton Mastery to have spikes emerge from the water and had each of them go for the head of Nero's clone; attacking him from his blind side. All of this would have been accomplished within a matter of seconds.

Nero's clone would be holding his swords against Xyxer's huge one. He wouldn't realise the needles, but the real Nero, in the shape of a Raven would. Nero would scream with a raven's sound, to inform his clone. "That's the signal..." the clone would think as it would check the surroundings, seeing the spikes of water emerging from the water. He would jump back, pushing Xyxer's sword away as he did that, and activate his Blessing of the Wİnd God technique, without Xyxer noticing it. As the spikes flew towards him, the clone will blow a stream of fire, thanks to the blessing of the wind god technique and his Fuuga Style. What actually happened was Nero blowing a stream of wind from his mouth, but the wind would also be infused with fire chakra by the clone with the Fuuga style... The stream was large enough to cover his sight, allowing him to dodge the water needles. His twin blades would be waiting for Xyxer. Nero would still be watching this, mentally smiling once again, thinking that Xyxer has gotten him to a hard situation that easily.

[the wind god is S-Rank, allowing me wind manip., fuuga allows me infuse wind tech.s with fire, the jutsu does a damage higher (making it SS-Rank damage), i think it's enough to evaporate the needles, since it was said the water can block up to A-Rank, and did damage of B-Rank]

Xyxer heard the scream of the raven, which had seemed to alert the person in front of him. This confused him for a moment before it clicked in; that Raven was something related to the person in front of him. They would work in unison to try and defeat Xyxer so he knew he would have to separate the two of them, and he knew just how to go about that. He initially avoided the incoming wind since he didn't want to risk anything before he sprinted towards his opponent, but instead of attacking him head on he did a front flip over his opponent; doing a few quick handseals before water spewed out from his mouth and covered the area in front of him; not allowing the raven to see what was happening between the clone and himself. Straight after that, If the clone diverted his attention towards Xyxer, another spear of water would silently attack the clone's blind side again which the Raven would be unable to see, and if the clone didn't, then Xyxer would do a simple slash to the exposed back of the boy. If any of these were dodged multiple mini-sharks would jump out from the lake towards the boy from every angle, still the Raven would be unable to see anything that happened.
