Arashi's Mission Thread.[Private.]

Arashi of the Uzumaki clan on an early morning finds himself trudging down a country road far from the village gates, due to a lack of funds due to some extensive damage caused by his current best friends last visit he must take a mission to cover the repairs, his friend for some reason was nowhere to be found...probably wrestling a bear somewhere Arashi concludes.

His mission is simple, find the reasoning behind a lack of shipments from the local farmlands in the territory Konoha calls the Land of Fire before Suna and others joined to become the Fire Nation.

Arashi's garb consists of a black short sleeved hoodie a red Uzumaki spiral embroidering the back with a mesh undershirt underneath a rough cotton green T-shirt, the straps to a black leather sling that holds two blank fuin scrolls are around his shoulders, the sling position so the scrolls will slide out from the right side.

A pair of black Shinobi pants and a pair of simple red lined sneakers complete this Uzumaki's wardrobe along with his equipment pouch and Kama strapped to the right side of his belt and clipped into place at his left side to draw easier respectively.

The sun hangs low in the sky as it is quite early in the morning and Arashi's pace is leisurely, he'll have to be ready for either something dangerous...strange...or really really stupid considering his luck, hopefully it'll be the first...it would be less harmful to his poor Green genin brain.

Another hour passes as Arashi continues on his way down the dirt road to his destination, it will take him a full days walk to reach the farmlands and perhaps find out what is going on to hold the deliveries..again he hopes it isn't anything too strange.

He also wishes he brought a book...this walking is quite dull..

Glancing upwards he lets out another slight sigh at this mission...the Chuunin that assigned it was an Inuzuka...the dog that was at his side was quite familiar looking...

Oh right..that was the dog that tried to steal his lunch...he ended up chaining the dog up slapping a chakra suppression tag on it and dumping it in front of the animal shelter...Oops.

He shakes his head as he decides audibly "That Chuunin and his little Dog will face this Arashi's wrath at a later date.." he decides letting his lips quirk upwards in a smirk.

It is mid-afternoon now and Arashi is seated against a tree eating his meal packed for lunch earlier in the morning of the current day.

The lunch is inside a simple plastic lunchbox, designed to keep the food fresh and safe from spilling, he smiles inwardly at the thought of what his lunch consists, a portion of pickled vegetables, a few Onigiri and a portion of diced hotdogs.

The lunch was chilled in the fridge before it was taken out in the morning so when lunchtime came around it'd be the perfect temperature to eat...it was a trick his Mother taught him for when he was nearing his survival training in the academy...

He eats his lunch in silence after the remembrance of why he is alone on this mission in the first place..

After fifteen minutes of eating silently and disciplining a rather moronic bandit who decided it'd be a good idea to attack the ninja enjoying his lunch...the fool did not escape This Arashi's wrath when he got lucky and spilled the lunches contents..

Those glorious rice balls and their glistening grains of rice were dirtied.

The pickled vegetables with their heavenly sweet-sour aftertaste crushed.

And the hijiki. The brown sea vegetable rolled its way to Arashi's foot, sauce trailing after...

The bandit then was soon met with the Uzumaki heirs killer intent and begged for forgiveness...lucky for the Uzumaki the bandits camp and gang wee nearby.

Arashi was lead to the camp by the bandit and was welcomed warilly by the other bandits whose names he didn't bother remembering.

They were gracious enough to share the stew they were cooking and even proclaimed Arashi the new 'Boss' after a tiny spat with the old Bandit Leader who decided to try and throw the very irate Shinobi out for eating his mens lunch.

The man will be able to eat solid foods again in about two months...the Uzumaki was feeling generous that day.

After lunch was finished Arashi and his new vassals consisting of the now reformed bandits continued on their way.

Arashi being pulled in a bandit and horse powered wagon while enjoying a nice cup of tea...it cut his travel time down quite considerably...they were even kind enough to allow him his pickings of their 'loot'

"Gendo" the Uzumaki calls out to the slightly scuffed bandit who originally spilled his lunch "What kind of tea is this?" Arashi asks while taking another sip of the actually rather tasty brew, the bandit explains it's a mix of several tea leaves..Arashi will have to keep Gendo around...if not for anything but his tea making skills "This Arashi rewards excellence Gendo..remember that." Arashi explains with a regal nod of approval.

The Shinobi and his vassals soon arrive to the Farmlands a full ten hours ahead of schedule.

The people are nervous of the surrounding bandits and give Arashi confused stares as he steps from the carriage the Bandits bowing their heads as he walks past.

He soon meets with the head farmer...and finds that his new vassals are the ones who have been causing the problems in the shipping..

Arashi forces the lot to apologize profusely for their actions and to return to Konoha and the Uzumaki compound when their finished fixing and returning the objects they damaged and stole.

A chorus of "YES BOSS-ARASHI!!" is the Uzumaki heir's answer, Arashi nods in approval before returning bowing in departure to the confused farm folk..Bandits respect strength...what's stronger then a Shinobi from an elite clan like the Uzumaki??

Arashi takes Gendo with him for the walk home which takes the full day he was dreading before.

When he arrives he explains to the gate guards that in a few days his vassals will be arriving..so don't kill any bandit gangs that answer to 'Boss-Arashi' the guard nods spreading the word to the others...

Arashi sends Gendo home afterwards and with a quick trip to the mission desk and the next days deliveries on time, the Mission was declared a strange success...and the Uzumaki heir even got a great new tea-maker out of it.
