Rank:C
Type:Drop Off
Character Requirements: Genin
Word Count Requirements:400
Repeatable?Yes
Reward:750
Task: Take the supplies to the border of the nations and give them to the buyer. Better be quick before he begin to trail further away.
Valpula noticed that there was an easy C ranked mission that he could do for some extra money. A delivery that was on the border of the fire and sky nation that he could do easily. As he was walking out the gates of the village he noticed that the package that he was going to be carrying was a bag of ryo large enough for Valpula to make all of his puppets. As he was still a sand ninja he knew that he could not take the money but only give it to the person who needed it. He thought about all the puppets that he could make with this ryo. Puppets that talk, puppets that walk, puppets that could kill anybody because he would have the money to make them, but since his parents did not leave him any money after their death he did not have enough money to do so.. As he walking through the borders of the sand and the leaf village that was all he noticed he was thinking about. He wanted to make all of his puppets, but sadly the missions that he had done already were not enough for him to make even one puppet that was worth anything. As he was looking through the bag of ryo he noticed that to any other ninja it was a puppeteer’s dream bag, the only problem was that Valpula did not dream anymore. He just wanted to make his puppets and that was it. It was hot that day and Valpula did not bring a lot of water for him. So right when he was crossing the border of the leaf village and the sand village he stopped at an inn and got some. Valpula noticed that he did not feel himself getting dehydrated but he did noticed that he was getting dizzy from the lack of water. After about 10 minutes of getting himself the water that he needed he ran so that he could catch up the people that needed the money. As he walking through the tiny villages and inns he found that he was still on time and after an hour or so more of walking Valpula got to the border of the sky and fire nation. As he did so he found that he was still there earlier than the people who were going to be receiving the money. Right before the people got there Valpula put the bag of Ryo down and walked back to the village. Hiding behind a tree he noticed that the person who arrived was the person who was supposed to receive the money, and Valpula continued down his journey back towards the sand village.

- Mission Name: Missing Lunch
Rank: C
Type: Intel
Character Requirements: None
Word Count Requirements: 600
Repeatable? Yes
Reward: 700 Ryo
Task: Someone has been stealing food from both the members of the village, citizen and shinobi alike, and the shops. Find out who said person is and report who the person is, and where he is hiding. Make sure to not be caught or else the person may run.
As Valpula walking out the gates of the village he noticed a trail of food coming from the gates through the sand. It was evidence enough for Valpula to investigate what it was for the chance on completing a C ranked mission given to the sand village. There was a person who was stealing food for somebody for some reason and he needed to be gone. Seeing as though there was a great reward for finding out whom this person was and since Valpula was fortunate enough to find this trail of Breadcrumbs he went in search of it. The trail would pass right by the village walls which were in dire need of repair. The wind from the desert, though a great protection for the sand village took its toll on the village gates made out of sand. Valpula noticed that there could be a mission in that somewhere, but that was not the mission that he was going to do.
As he followed the trail of food, which seemed to have lasted for miles and miles, he began to wonder who in the village would want to steal food from both the Shinobi of the village and the civilian’s. Most people that come into the village either have a hatred for the ninja for putting them in jail or not giving them what they want, so they leave and try to revolt against it, becoming affiliated with missing ninja who would try to destroy the ninja of the village. However there were some that only left the village because of personal reasons, trying to hurt only one or two people, but not the entire population of the sand village. A thief who steals from all is the enemy of all, Valpula thought, and he knew that in order for his lunch not to be taken he had to find out who this thief was. AS the time went by and the sunset turned to dark Valpula realized that he was now in his element. With his enhanced vision during the night time he did not have to rely on the things that other people did. He could move and walk without fail in the night without the aid of lights, meaning that he would be able to sneak into the enemy territory and get out with the information better than any other shinobi in the village. As the miles went on the food started to grow less and less prominent, and food sources that could once be seen every so often now were found miles on the trail. Thankfully the sand had not picked up the footprints like they did, allowing for Valpula the ability to follow the thief and find out who he was. As he was going through the desert he found who he was looking for. It was a man that seemed to have been carrying a large load of food on his back at one point but then did not. He was an old man that seemed to have not been from a ninja family of any sort but strong. HE must have been a worker for the village when he was younger. Although Valpula did not know who this man was he started to understand the old dead mans story. As the years went on the village found that they had no need for the old worker and fired him from his job. Starving because he was too proud to find help from others he stole to get by, and then this last haul was to be his last as he went through the desert. From what it looked like he fell victim to one of the deserts sandstorms and perished in it. With this information Valpula took the body of the deceased and brought it back to the village for the Ryo Reward.

Task: A man has ran away with a ladies purse. He is only a civilian, but could possibly be violent.
Valpula saw it as it happened to the old lady on the street. Over the past few days Valpula had been getting ready for his trip to out of the sand village to get some potions and other goods for his puppets and poison making. He assumed that it was going to take a lot of money to do so he needed to get all the ryo from the missions that he did for the time being. He was doing a lot more C ranked missions now because the village had seen his mastery of being a ninja was still intact and might actually allow him to become a C ranked ninja soon due to his progress in the sand village after such little time. Valpula was walking through the village during the night, alone as usual because he still did not have have many friends, and then moved to where his house was for the time being. AS he was walking up the stairs he saw as the elderly woman who lived next door to the half blind ninja was being mugged by some civilian. It was an act that people would hate to see and would do everything in their power to get the items back for them, but not Valpula. Valpula did not care and would have just gone through to his house without showing any emotion towards the woman if the woman did not say the next few words. She said that if the ninja would get the purse back she would give him ryo for doing so. This was the one thing that intrigued Valpula immensely because it meant that he could get money for doing something that would be easy to do. Since he was a ninja his skills as such were unparalled to that of a civilian. Most people could not even dream of running away but this was a challenge. IF he could get ryo for doing such an easy task he might as well make it fun. As Valpula begun to see where the thief was going he found that he was not that fast. Valpula could have been walking the entire time and would have eventually caught up to the ninja. Ninja seemed to be stronger and faster than all other people in every way which meant that he would be able to do things easier and better than just the average person. It only took about ten minutes for the ninja to catch up the thief. It was night time and they were in a dark alley way, which meant that Valpula had a clear and utter advantage against the thief. Still the thief was not a smart one and thought that it would be a good idea for him to fight Valpula. Valpula did ot know maybe it was because the thief thought that Valpula was just another person because he looked so weak or maybe since his red hair and cute appearance thought that he was not a threat, he still took a kunai out of pocket and charged at the ninja. The ninja, having increased speed and agility in the night would take the challenge instead of the run. As the civilian was moving towards him Valpula had already come up with the solution to the thief’s attack. He was lunging forward towards the ninja he realized that he would try to stab Valpula in the neck whch would kill him instantly. Although this was a lethal blow it was not a good charge to do because it was easily blocked. Not only that but his form was off as well, leaving his left side open to attack. Doing so would then be the way that Valpula would defeat his foe. As the thief came within three feet of Valpula he put his hand out to grab the thief’s hand inches before he hit the throat then push it to the side so that no damage would be taken whatsoever. With his other hand Valpula did a great open handed thrust to the thief’s side, which would break the ribcage of the victim and send him on the ground. After about a minute of making sure that the civilian was down he went to the ninja headquarters and dropped him off inside of it with the guards there taking him and dealing with him like every other Criminal in the village. Valpula went inside and told the guards of the sand what had happened and what medical attention he needed before he was sent to jail. After that was done the sand ninja went back his home and knocked on the door of the old woman’s house. As the woman answered she was shocked to find that the purse was in her possession again, however she did give Valpula 800 ryo for the time he did, and seeing since it was a hostile civilian she gave C ranked mission rewards. Valpula went back inside of his house satisfied with his work and pocketed the ryo. He went to sleep happy with the progress that he had made and prepared for a new day of training.

Mission Name: Village Status
Rank: C
Type: Repair
Character Requirements: None
Word Count Requirements: 800
Repeatable? Yes
Reward: 1000
Task: The gates have been ruined, assist other shinobi and repair men in fixing the gates.
As Valpula walked through the streets of the sand village he noticed that there was a way for him to make some more ryo for his trip out of the village. The gates of the village had been in serious disrepair due to the sandstorm that had passed by the village a few weeks back. Because of this some of the gates fell and needed to be repaired and the best time to do that was during the night. The Night was the best time because it was cool enough to do things in but the wind had died down, meaning that the sand and brick that they used to make the wall would be easy to change and move. Although Valpula did not have manipulation over the wind element nor did he have the ability to make the walls his advantage was that he the construction of the wall was during the night, meaning that he could lead people to where they needed to go when many others could not. Instead of having to wait for a fire to get to the location that needed to be repaired Valpula could just point at where the wall needed to be fixed and the workers would do so. It was not the most difficult way for a shinobi to get ryo but it was a mission none the less. As Valpula worked thorugh the night on the outside of the village he found that his mastery over his eye had been improving for the time being. It was something that Valpula noticed was very interesting because he did seem to expect it. Although most people would be shocked and surprised by something like this the sand ninja with one almost blind eye, was not without much surprise. Although he had hoped that he would gain back some of his emotion a long time ago that seemed to have not been the case. As he was working Valpula recalled on how he learned about this and what this meant to him, because it was a such an important part of his new life, but that was for another story altogether. Right now he needed to focus on what he needed to do for the mission and that was make sure the walls were safe for the people of the village. Although he did not care about the people he cared about the ryo and the time he spent doing it. If this was going to take up hours of his day and night then he should be getting well paid for this, so he should do a good job, and if he does not he runs the risk of losing more time and more ryo. If a mission is not completed correctly he may not get the ryo he was intended to get, meaning that his time was a waste and so was everyone else’s, and that his record could also be tarnished by it as well. He wanted to get a promotion to the rank of Chuunin soon so that he could go on missions that were worth a lot of Ryo to him so that he would get even more money for his puppets. He had a design that kept on popping into his head but that too was shut down by the fact that he still had to the mission he needed to do. It was almost sunrise the repairs to the walls were complete for who knows however long. There could be another storm tomorrow and that could mean that they need to repair them again tomorrow or they could stay up for a very long time, no matter he took his ryo he got for completing the mission and went back on his way home. Counting the ryo he noticed that he had almost 14000 Ryo to spend on something that was great and out of the ordinary for the world of puppet making. He was thinking that one day he could join the red puppet core, or at least be forced into it due to his skills, but for now he still had not made a single puppet and had no way to show for it. He decided that his plans needed to be set into motion and that he needed to work on making his puppets better and stronger now. With the money that he had already he had enough to do it and all that was stopping him was the time. Now with many of the ninjas out on other missions Valpula had been going on several missions for the sand village because he was the only one that could. Since he was not on a team and liked to be alone some of the missions were the only missions that he could do, but Valpula did not care one bit for it, as long as he got the ryo he needed.

Reward: 500 Ryo
Task: There have been reports that there have been animal fights somewhere in the village, your job is to find out where the arena for the fights are and to investigate it, try not to be caught.
Upon his rank of Chuunin he found that more missions were able to be brought to his attention about things regarding the missions that he could do. The first thing that he did was find out that he could do more missions of higher ranks such as S ranked missions which was huge. S Ranked missions meant that he could get upwards of ten thousand ryo per mission which meant that the last puppet that he made was paid for like that. HE knew that missions were sometimes ranked C because of the easiness of them but only given to chuunin or above because of their potential to be hard, but most of them aren’t so they are given to Chuunin and genin sometimes. Although this one was only given to ninja of C rank or higher for some reason or another because Vapula did not know yet because he had not read the details of the mission yet, and that was because he was still in his room for because he was sleeping. Sleep was something that Vapula had not really had for the past few weeks. With his training and him making the puppets for his dominance he found that he lost time to sleep. He woke up at around 2 in the afternoon on the floor of his house and got ready for the day of missions. HE got to the ninja head quarters about ten minutes later and was given the details of the mission. As soon as he got the board for the mission request he knew what this was about. He knew that there was a league of missing ninja hiding in sewers of the sand village and they were trying to destroy major figures of the sand village with it. It was something that needed to be dealt with sooner rather than later because it could fester up and destroy the village. No matter this mission was getting information on something that the organization did to get money. Often the ninja went to the sewers and had animals fight for pleasure like it was a gambling hall underground. Reports show that upwards of millions of ryo have been circulated around the village because of it and that was not good for the village. If the organization were to get enough money they could possibly destroy everything but not for a long time. The mission was simple. All that Vapula had to do was prove that this was actually happening in the sewers and find out where they were in them. Vapula was not happy to realize that he was going to have to go the village sewers again because just they were the sewers. As he found the mission details and went through the village he noticed that he was not unhappy about going into the sewers but rather mentioned in his mind that he did not want to. Want was something that Vapula thought that he had lost with his injury, but instead was just hidden from him for a while and through his experiences he may have the chance to get those emotions back somehow. As he walked through the sewers of the village hidden in the sand he found traces of what appeared to animal fights from a long time ago. This proved that they existed but did not prove that the organization was still doing it. As he walked through them more and more he found about 5 more sites that showed that animals were fighting there. The allure of smoke and flames on the walls, the amount of blood on the floor, and the random rings that looked like where the arenas were showed that the place was for fighting. As he walked through the sewers more and the hours went on and on he found what he was looking for. IT appeared as though a fight had been occurring just a few night because everything was still fresh, the blood, the smoke, and everything was new. On top of that on the ground was the symbol of the organization, probably was supposed to be cleaned up later but they had not gotten to it. However the mission was a success with vapula getting the information that he needed, and he went back into the sand village and told the leaders of Suna.

Task: The village hasn't been receiving shipments of resources from the farmers not too far from the village. The village shinobi are unable to make any contact with the farmers, your job is to go and find out what the trouble is, and make sure the village receives the shipments soon.
“In order for a city to survive one must always have enough supplies to keep it running. For most cities that is not a problem because they have supplies that they can get from inside the village, making it easy to keep the village safe and healthy under and circumstance. They can farm crops for the people and have animals on wide spaces of land while still inside the village walls. That is the case in regards to the leaf village. They have land that they allocate to the village surviving on its own without the need of outside villages. The outside villages do help allow the village to have recreation places such as inns and restaurants easily and cheap, and also insuring that all the people have food to eat even if they cannot afford it. That is the luxury that they have but it is not the case for us living in the sand. In the sand village we must grow our food in faraway lands and have them shipped to us because we do have the ability to grow crops at all. The desert is arid and dry and makes it impossible for the village to do so, and the land is hot and difficult to put livestock in it without major efforts from the farmers, making it impractical. We must use lands many miles away to get the food that we need to survive. Sure we have inns and such of that like but in the case of an attack they would be shut down first. In an attack all the food would go the higher ups to keep them alive, leaving the citizens without food, meaning that they are more susceptible to dying. Our family has always had the resources and the power for the food to come to us, but still, the food will run out. The moment that the find out our shipping routes and shut them down we too will die, our first and only priority of the ninja of the village should be that supplies are always brought into the village. Missions of that sort are of vital importance my son, and you should take them if they are needed to be done.”
These words rang in Vapulas head the moment that he got the mission details given to him. As he walked through the streets of the sand village with them he realized just how important the supply routes were to the village and to his own personal safety. If the village were to get attacked for some reason he would be dead because he was not one of the important members of the village anymore because his parents were dead. Although he did not want to think that it was the truth and if the village was not getting the supplies that it needed it should be figured out. The shipment came from the same farm that lost a lot of their goods to some sky nation genin who needed to food to survive but were killed by the young genin of the sand Vapula some time ago. Now some more people are it and it was up to the now chuunin to show them what they needed to do in order to make sure that the shipment that was meant to arrive in a few days would arrive. As he walked through the village gates and to the desert he noticed something odd about the sun and how it looks round but it really is not. It should be more rigid than it was that day, but vapula could not really look at it with the idea that his other eye could go blind to it easily. As he walked the day’s journey through the desert sands he looked around at the arid climate and realized that people had to travel this all the time because of the trade routes. It is hot and many people die but it is for the security and wellbeing of the sand village. When Vapula arrived at the farms he found that the wagon that they were using was completely destroyed from ninja a few nights ago. Reports said that the ninja who caused it were some run away sand ninja and were taken into custody for questioning and the ability to hear their case in front of the kazekage. After a few hours and a sandstorm that slowed down their repairs the wagon was sucessfuly repaired and ready for the shipment to come to the sand village. with the authority that Vapula had in the village now he told the people that he wanted to do the shipment now because the village needed it. The head farmers and the picker agreed to work to get the goods on the wagon and the group started travelling around to the sand village. The trip was long and painful due to the heat in the morning and the cold in the nights. It meant that the people had to prepare for both extremes of whether which meant more weight and more time it took to get to konoha. After about another day’s journey through the sand the wagon and people arrived with the latest shipment for the village. The leader of the Caravan and Vapula shook hands and went to the headquarters of the village, saying that the next time the caravan goes anywhere they want two more guards on the case at all times. The head caravan leader agreed and left for the trip back home. Vapula was given the ryo for completing another C ranked mission and learned that there were some B ranked missions that he could do for some extra Ryo. Satisfied with that the ninja went back through the streets and to his house. To the east he could see the caravan travelling back and into the horizon and the falling sun. With another mission complete Valpula was ready to work on making another puppet but instead passed out on the floor.
