Mission Topic: Scum Of The Leaf

Senba reviewed his mission assignment a couple of times.


He said to himself, “Alright all I have to do is catch a thief.
It seems simple enough.”


He was in the vicinity of the area where the thief has been.


He walked up to one of the vendors and asked “There has been
someone stealing food items from the vendors around here?”


The vendor smiled and said “Yes sir, and it is effecting the
business in a big way. Are you the one they sent to catch him?”


Senba replied “Yes I am. Do you know anything specific? What
time does the thief come? What does he wear usually?”


The vendor frowned and said “I do not know any good details,
but he steals on a regular basis so I am sure he will show up today. He is
cloaked and pretty much comes out of nowhere.”


Senba sighed and said “Alright I will be on the lookout for
him for today. If you see anything suspicious just look up and act like you are
stretching.”


The vendor’s smile returned and said “Okay thank you so
much.”


Senba returned the smile and walked away. He blended into
the crowed as much as he could but he could not hide the katana on his back. He
examined his terrain, and saw wide streets with few alleyways. The thief
probably comes through the alleyways, takes what he can, and dashes back into
the alley. He jumped up onto the roof tops scanning the crowds of people moving
back and forth. Senba kept a good eye on the vendor he was talking to. Seconds,
minutes, and hours went by and Senba was still on the lookout. Looking up at
the sky he noticed it was only noon.


Senba sat back on the roof so that he had a clear view on
the vendor. The vendor looked up every once in a while to make sure Senba was
watching. This was turning out to be a bum job with no excitement, but quickly
rethought that. The vendor stretched and looked up at Senba and darted his eyes
toward a person. Senba watched the person intently waiting for something. The
vendor was right and the cloaked person decided to take something. The thief
ran and Senba was running along the roof tops making sure the thief did not see
Senba. The thief noticed Senba and dashed unknowingly into a dead end alley. Senba
leaped down and confronted the thief. The thief was trying to find a way around
Senba, but could not.


Senba said “You are coming with me thief. I am taking you to
the police.”


The thief turned and tried to leap over the wall. Senba
chuckled a little bit and dashed forward. He tackled the thief down and the
thief put up a fight. The thief managed to get a jab on Senba in the stomach.
Senba could only chuckle to himself and finally restrained the thief. He
brought the thief to the nearest police building and turned him in.
