A meeting with that Tenkage Guy {P} {NKILL}
Tue Jun 25, 2013 12:57 am
ken walked toward the building at a slow pace. His dog hiding in his backpack. As to hide from sudden encounters with Jayy. His brother, who hated the dog. And as ken opened the door to the building he sighed. As he knew what he was going to talk about and how it could 'Shame'Ify him if you will. As this was the first time ken would meet the tenkage. he also felt...insecure. But as ken was gained entrance to his chamber. he opened the door. At a normal speed. not like those people who peek in. And stepped forward. Unzipping the backpack. (Which yes, had been checked) And pulling out his dog. because obviously, Dogs are cute, People like cute things, And jayy wasnt here.
With that, Ken also began to speak. "Hello" and with that, he had begun a conversation without proper names, or saying Tenkage-Sama. its almost as if, at the site of the person. He felt friendly.

Shinji, the second Tenkage of Tengakure, sat in his usual office chair. For once he was on a break. Breaks seemed so fleeting, so what was the noble Tenkage doing during his break? Well that was a simple answer: he was testing out his new spinning chair. This new installment was probably the best thing he had ever installed in his office. Some might call it immature, but Shinji called it a well earned break. He was spinning around in circles when the door creaked open. Trying to look all professional he finished his spin and looked at the person who entered. Thankfully this person had the common courtesy to not use any silly names or bow. This person was getting off on the right foot. With a pleasant smile Shinji spoke up in a oddly cheerful voice: Hey, how can I help you this fine day?" Shinji was not too sure what possessed him, but he was feeling very upbeat. Perhaps it was this new chair?

Ken looked at the chair and laughed. Even though common courtesy and all that stuff was what he was taught. he had recognized the chair from the markets. it was one of those chairs you spend all day looking at. And attempting to spin it. Maybe even figure it out.
"I like those chairs too"
Is what he would say. Before his dog started tugging on his pants ends. and ken slowly nudged the dog with his foot. and then ken felt slightly more grim. when the dog went under the tenkages desk, and began to sniff around. Though the meeting had a purpose, so ken decided to state why he was there
"Can i go on missions higher than D Rank!" Though it was more of a blurt than a normal inside voice. and could easily have been heard in the hall. but not at the 'Reception' Area. it was loud enough.
"Or get a team that actually cares about doing missions?!"
And that was rude beyond belief. but it was honest. his team seems to have never showed up for a meeting. and the reasoning behind it was unknown.

Shinji listened silently to the boy. Running through the names of people and faces Shinji tried to recall who this was. He had made a rather large effort to know people in his village and though that was a daunting task he knew it would pay off in the end. He was pretty sure this one's family name was Vongola. Shinji took note of the dog, but paid it no mind as it rummaged around under his desk.
The boy the blurted out how he wanted to go on missions higher than D-rank, which Shinji assumed meant by himself. A bit uneasy about the whole thing Shinji figured it was best to get to know the kids reasons for wanting to be able to do higher than D-rank missions. Still in a fairly good mood Shinji decided to overlook theboy's slight rudeness: "Oh, really? And why should I grant your request? There is a reason genin are only allowed to do up to d-rank missions alone. They get a lot harder as the ranks go on and we cannot risk them getting hurt. However, yet again I ask why? Why should I allow you to do this?" Shinji simply sat in his comfy new chair and waited for a reply.

Ken pondered the question...but almost as rapidly as the question was stated. ken said "Because of my family! The missions come from requests by the people of this village. And if those requests arnt fulfilled, what happens?! What if a thief is never stopped. a man never escorted. Though my family is limited, By blood. It doesnt mean my friends. Those people who sell fruits. Make buildings, Arnt my 'Family' Either!..Though i may be selfish in that regard....to want to do stuff by myself....And the saying that sticks....No pain no gain! I want to become strong enough..to support my squad...if a new chuunin exam appears! so we can strive together!"
And with that, ken closed his eyes. with a smile.

Shinji listened to the boys rather mixed up request and simply shook his head. Once the boy had finished speaking Shinji spoke up in his same cheerful tone: "I'll tell you what gather up a team and bring them back here and I will see what I can do. If you are unable to fin d a team leader, well, I will deal with that. However, I cannot allow you to go on missions above D-rank. I am sorry. Furthermore being in a team is key to a shinobi's existence. One lives and dies by their team. That is why you need one. Not to mention the fact that a team is required for the chuunin exams. So, do as I asked and we can go from there. If you are unable to find a team altogether I will pick a few missions for you that will not be too hard. Now, is there anything else?" For some reason the boy was strangely endearing and Shinji half hoped he had some other business he wished to discuss. Due to all the free time Shinji had right now it would be a welcome break form the monotony of life as a kage.

Ken smiled at the tenkage's answer. It wasnt a 'Oh...how sad, i diddnt get what i want' Feeling in kens..Brain. it was more of a....one of those ' we cant risk it ' typa things. And it was also another chance to get for famiglia! "Thanks! i also never asked your name..?" now the dog under the desk had been interested in the chair. and started to attempt to paw at it. trying to make it spin.

Shinji's chair started to spin ever so slightly as the small puppy pawed at it. Shinji did not try to stop it. Instead he took time to tell the boy his name: "My name is Shinji Uzumaki. And if you would be so kind as to jog my memory: what is your name?" Shinji felt kind of bad as he could not remember the kids name, but he was not so full of himself to not admit it. So, he simply waited for the boy's response and in the mean time reached down to scratch the small puppy behind the ears. If the puppy did allowed him Shinji would scratch behind its ears for a bit and then pat it on it's head. Shinji rather enjoyed getting to know people in his village. It was not often that people made the long trip up the kage skyscraper and the company was welcome.

Ken smiled as he recieved the tenkages name "Im Ken vongola! Nice t'meetcha Shinji!" Though ken wasnt the only one happy. Graciously accepting the pet behind the ears was the dog. and the pat upon his head. And with that the dog walked toward ken with that little face saying 'I like this guy'..Ken began to ponder. atleast for a couple seconds. "Question, Shinji. Whats it like all cooped up here? Having to do paperwork and all that...and deal with all the problems that appear. And lack of....People who actually climb that huge flight of stairs."

Shinji could not help, but smile at Ken's question. It was a soft gentle smile-one that did not often grace his face. It was indeed true that not many people save for anbu and, well, missing ninja ventured up to the highest tower in Tengakure. Last time a regular shinobi came up here he had died of an odd heart attack, which was truly bizarre. All the same Shinji was more than willing to indulge in conversation with Ken: "Well to be honest," Shinji's voice dropped,so only Ken would hear. "It is not the most enjoyable thing in the world. My day consists of waking up doing paperwork over breakfast, then work till lunch, attend a meeting after lunch and then back to paperwork. It is a fairly lousy existence. Although I do try to get out once and a while. I find that walking around the village helps revitalize my will and helps me stay on track as a kage-It reminds me why I still do this job. If you get the chance please do visit again...Or hell you could come hang out for a day or something-you could get first hand experience of what goes on up here in this tall tower." With that Shinji waited for a response from the boy. It would be a nice change to have people around, but he would not force the boy.
