Just Talking A Walk (P, NK, Sokka/Zuko only)

Zuko knew that when Sokka said 'Speed Breaker' That this meant a fight. He didn't quite know WHY Sokka wanted to fight... He just knew he did. Zuko also knew that Sokka was just acting weak. For the love of Agni he punched a hole in the wall! He knew he could avoid it the punch, so he did just that.
 
As Sokka aimed for his face, he instinctively side-stepped his brother and held out a leg, attempting to trip him. However, after that, the wolf began to howl. He immediately felt dizzy and shook his head, but he still couldn't see straight. He saw a few of his brother, and a few of the wolf, and they wouldn't go away. But the fake ones were slightly more blurry than the real one, so he knew that much. For now this would be a defensive battle.

From sparkeys view...The wolf would split into 4. And go in all directions. Backwards, Towards him, To the left of him. And to the right of him. The Right one being the real one. And sparkey would see 3 Sokkas at the same time. one going forward. one going backwards. and one going left.

The real one was going left. And when it went left. It would attempt to elbow zuko in the spine with a STR of 21. Enough to smash concrete. And the wolf would try to bite him on the jewels.

Zuko, eyes wide, looked around. He couldn't see the real Sokka, and so he didn't move in time. Suddenly he felt a very sharp pain in his middle back, right on his spine. He was sent flying forward and straight into Ruff. He tried to get up, but he couldn't. He tried to ask Sokka for help, bt he couldn't move his jaws. He could only blink and breath. He then became aware of the terrible pain in his spine. He figured more than one of his vertebrae were broken, and his spinal cord must be damaged because he was, at least for now, paralyzed.

Sokka charged forward rapidly. Grabbing zuko before he hit the floor. "Ruff! Get on my shoulder now!' Sokka would say. It jumping upon him. And with that. Sokka dashed forward. Straight toward the hospital at top speed. Carrying zuko's paralyzed body. in somewhat frenzy.

Zuko briefly felt himself being hauled up by the shirt and carried by his running brother. However, only about 15 seconds later, the pain started getting number and number until all that was left was a slight tingle. He was aware he was loosing consciousness. slowly the world went black, though his eyes stayed open, they too becoming a victim of the paralysis. His body, rather then continuing to be slightly stiff, went completely limp.
 
He dreamt that dream again, except this time, it was different. The dream started out as usual, him laughing with his parents as they did the paper work, getting ready to leave for home. then the gas tank exploded, as per usual.

Except this time, Zuko couldn't move. He was stuck in place, watching his parents burn. Watching the other workers parish. He stood still as the roof caved in around him, unable to move. But the roof didn't hit him. Instead, it caved in just around him. He saw people from the floor above him jump out the window, and others who weren't so lucky. He saw more children, who wouldn't ever leave this building. Then the roof finally fell on him. And then, in his dream, he was suddenly brought to a black place.

The black place soon filled with color. He stood again and watched his dream play out in front of him in third person, the story line continuing as it did before. But this time, when he was killed in the dream, the little third person view just restarted. It played the scene over and over again. Over and over. This wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare.
 
As Zuko dreamt, his heart rate suddenly sped up due to fear. But then, gradually, it began to get slower and more irregular, his breathing more shallow. The paralysis was getting serious, and now because of it, he was near death.
 
(Immovable Dream Zuko was induced by the subconscious thoughts of being paralyzed.)

Sokka glared toward that building. As the wind upon his face increased in intensity. He got to the doors and Rapidly Pushed the door open. Dropping his head band on the Desk and saying "Which Room!?" With a reply of "Floor 2, Room 10." And then he continued on. Tightening zuko around his waist as he opened the door to the stairs. Then leaping as high as he could getting right to floor two. Getting that Door open. And opening room 10. Placing zuko on the table. As he began to sweat.."Phew"

Not a few moments later, several doctors rushed into the room. They had know by a call form he nurse. They appeared to be surgeons. The head doctor came over to Zuko, who was laying on his stomach on the bed, and ran a quick scan of the body with his medical ninjutsu. his eyes widened a little as he finished the scan. He then turned to Sokka. "Kid, this kid here is paralyzed, and he's going into critical from it. There are bone fragments in the spinal cord. We must operate immediately and remove them, or else he will either be paralyzed for life, or die. Please exit the room now." he said. He turned away quickly and set to work, not bothering to wait for Sokka to leave. He really didn't care either; His mind was set on the boy in front on him.

They first cut Zuko's shirt open, down the back. He then located the breaks in the bones via chakra. A few of the other doctors set their chakra on his heart or lungs to keep them going and not paralyze; Others hooked up various monitors. One administered anistetics to keep Zuko asleep. The head surgeon made an incision down his spine and set to work.

After an hour an a half, the stiches were in place and his condition was stable. He would be conscious in just a few minutes, though, aside form the heart and other internal organs, he was paralyzed fromt he neck down. A few weeks recovery would be needed. The doctors exited the room, leaving only the heart monitor and a precautionary IV with him.

Sokka stepped back into the room with a sigh and sat in a chair. This was of course after being told to leave and retrieving his headband. He watched as Zuko lay. and just stared.

Zuko awoke a few minutes later, only to find he was in a hospital bed. "Wha...?" he said groggily, the medication still mugging his senses. He tried to sit up but.. he couldn't "Sokka?" he asked, not really able to move around and see where his brother was. Last he remembered, he was being carried and his back hurt.

"Sup Zuko" Sokka would say "Shame your bones shattered. I thought you would have been training in all the time weve had. Guess you gotta wait a couple weeks" Sokka would say. As he was beginning to inform zuko of ALL the things zuko needed to know.
