Minoru's Element Training
Fri Aug 02, 2013 5:38 pm
It appeared to be a regular day in Suna, but it wasn't a regular day for Minoru. As soon as he was ready he would head toward the Hidden Sand Village's training grounds and work on gaining the elements required for his clan's techniques. Minoru decided that since he was an official genin of Sunagakure and had been assigned to team three, he would surprise his teammates (whenever more where assigned to the team) with his kekkai genkai. The magnet release was the special element that few of the Kinzokutei clan were gifted with. Minoru never put much effort into training it so far, but with rumors of powerful genin in other villages weeding through the competition in the Chunin Exams, Minoru would have to become stronger at all cost.
The young teen Minoru made sure to wake up promptly at eight o'clock that morning to start on his special element training early. After getting a healthy breakfast (as he would need it) he dressed lightly in a blue and white striped t-shirt that matched and some navy blue pants along with his ninja sandals. He didn't want to overheat himself during the rigorous chakra training that he would soon put himself through so he made sure his clothing choices were an appropriate choice for the occasion. Minoru also tied his Sand ninja headband around his arm so that it left the space on his forehead for another item. For the final touch to today's uniform, he adorned his Echo follower goggles on his forehead that he had received after buying a book from the famous (or infamous to some people) ninja Echo. Even though the said book was shrouded in nine levels of hilarity, it did touch upon some vital topics necessary for the survival of ninja. Remembering this, Minoru grabbed his backpack and put the Echo's Ninja Handbook inside, and also went down into his family's kitchen to fill up his canteen with water.
It was about nine o'clock when Minoru finally stepped out into the village and started walking toward the training grounds, awaiting a long day of good old-fashioned hard work that would be needed to unlock Minoru's true potential as a Kinzokutei. It was only morning so the desert-like Sand village weather was not bad at all for the moment, and in fact there were a few large clouds in the sky blocking some of the Sun's rays. This was a good sign that Minoru wouldn't have any hindrances today and he could begin his training without worries or burning out to quickly.
As he came upon the training grounds, Minoru set his things on a nearby bench and walked a few meters out from it. He stood there observing his surroundings and he took a deep breath.
"So lightning it is. I will master you," he said confidently, noting that was the element he had to unlock before he could even begin training for his magnet release. Minoru already had quite an affinity for doton, or earth release, so all that was needed to perform his clan's kekkai genkai was the ration, lightning release. Only when Minoru became proficient in both would he finally be able to combine both of these elements to make the jiton, magnet release element and learn the powerful techniques of his clan that few were ever able to master. To begin mastering lightning, Minoru went back to his backpack and pulled out a towel that he kept in there. After placing the square-shaped white towel with an area of about two squared meters, he sat down in the center of the square atop of the Sunagakure village insignia that decorated the middle in a meditating position. He used his hands to make the tiger hand seal that was commonly used for gathering chakra and then the young ninja began relaxing his body and closed his eyes focusing on the chakra coursing through his network. Unfortunately for Minoru, natural lightning was harder to come by in the desert that was the Hidden Sand village rather than it was in the village Hidden in the Clouds. However, prior to his current training session Minoru did make sure to research heavily upon the phenomenon of electricity to gain a feel of what it was so that he could reproduce it himself with his chakra. Minoru tried hard to concentrate his mind on the shocking nature and explosive power that the lightning element brought, picturing his body as if it were a generator constantly pumping out electricity for energy.
Ten minutes had gone past and he still couldn't quite get the hang of it yet, but if he focused hard enough for a second, he could have sworn that he felt a jolt of power go through him. In the rare instances it occurred, Minoru's eyes would quickly flit open surprised, and he would lose his focus and have to start over again. He wasn't used to the element yet so he would need his body to stay relaxed when this different change in nature occurred. It also didn't help Minoru's case that he knew that each Kinzokutei member gifted with the advanced element magnet would each get their own special element they had an affinity for deep inside which excited him to find out what his was. Minoru wasn't quite sure what his would be because the signs were different for him. There was an incident when he was young were his mother's golden jewelry stuck to him like he was a magnet, but there was also a when Minoru almost dropped the silverware when helping his mom set the dinner table one day and there was a kind of delay if not only for two seconds before they hit the ground, which led his parent's to believe that he had the gift. Minoru's own father was gifted with the power of the sparkling gold dust which meant he had an affinity for the metal gold while Minoru had a cousin who was gifted in the manipulation of regular sand which was useful in the environment Suna-nin live in and supposedly a similar technique to the tales of the one-tailed demon beast that the elders of Sunagakure would tell children. Minoru was always happy when his dad allowed him to watch his training with his affinity, and he was always amazed at the brilliance and versatility of the gold dust. Minoru could not wait to find out his special element. The only thing preventing Minoru from harnessing his power and findng his one true affinity was grasping the concept of lightning release.
Minoru concentrated harder, picturing lightning bolts striking down from the heavens and devastating forest by starting fires, and Minoru tried to produce only thousandth of that power, but to no avail quite yet. He could not come up with even a small discharge of lightning chakra signifying the end of his training. For a kid known as a genius during his academy days even Minoru would admit actually trying to apply new natures transformations different from your first was no simple task. Maybe Minoru needed something to put his chakra into. He quickly got up and plucked a leaf from a nearby bush. After resuming his position he began trying to infuse his chakra into the leaf while concentrating on increasing the high frequency vibrations of his chakra. Minoru learned this was necessary to do to produce the lightning element during his research. This was easier said then done, because as Minoru tried this he felt his chakra speed barely at all.
Minoru then wondered if there was a chance that some ninja in the village that had the lightning element would possibly come to the training grounds today, but he disregarded the thought thinking there was a slim chance this would probably happen. Heck, with Minoru's current troubles any help would be good help. He then decided he would take a short break, so he grabbed his towel and went to the bench where his backpack was. He took out his canteen, going for a refreshing sip of plain water. Though Minoru had done no physical work today, his chakra training was as tiring as any run around a track. He used his break to catch the nice sand village breeze and Minoru was pleased that the day still hadn't became too hot. Noticing the bottom of his towel was a little dirty, Minoru began shaking the dust off while thinking about the trivial chance that somebody would come to assist him in his training. He took a another drink of his water and decided he would not quit, and he would continue his training for lightning release again in three minutes.

It was a great day for Kenzo, after his fight that occured yesterday against a fellow genin. He decided to get out for a walk or for a training. He was thinking when he will train all the elements
he was going to have, and then obtain the wood release. He didn't knew that,or he was too lazy to even try to train in this moment as the boy sleeped some time before he got out and started doing the usual walking around the village. He decided then to go at the training grounds, just of sheer curiosity to see if anyone was around. When he came there the boy saw another new person, one that was looking like a ninja."Hi,how are you doing?"He asked the young person.

Minoru was just about to begin his training again when he saw another person coming toward the training field. The man who came greeted him nicely.
"Hello, I'm great. Just working hard on some special training," Minoru responded kindly, hoping to make a new friend. Minoru wondered if this was his chance to get a training partner to help him achieve his goal. It was hard work pushing himself to the limit by himself but maybe if he had somebody to give him motivation he could achieve his goal quicker.
"The truth is, I'm trying to obtain a element known only to those in my clan. Would you be able to help me?" He asked the male, hoping to get a positive response. Minoru would then stand up to go talk to the other ninja in person.

"Yes,why not."He responded to the boy asking himself what kind of special training, more exactly what kind of training was he wishing to unlock and how powerful was that element.Anyway he was going to help the boy,to find out about the element, the clan from which he was a member and the power of that element, hoping that soon he will wood since he now had earth and water the wood element was just at a step from him but he could get it anytime.Kenzo was now looking at the boy not knowing what he should do,if he was supposed to defend or attack so Kenzo was waiting for the boy to speak.
