Maybe I'll find a teacher (NK plz)

Miyu had been attempting to learn the way of the sword for quite some time. She had mostly taught herself how to work with a blade, but needed a teacher if she wanted to truly learn how to become a great swordsman. Miyu wasn't used to relying on others, but in this instance she knew she'd have to. She had quickly found that there were few swordsmen in the village willing to teach her, at least the ones she found were unwilling. There might have been some skilled swordsmen Miyu had not heard about, but she hadn't found him.

So, she decided to travel. She didn't want to leave her nice little village, but if she wanted to protect it she'd have to learn to master the sword, and to do that she'd need a teacher. She had given a letter to the Village leaders secretary, stating she intended to learn new sword techniques from other lands, but seeing as he wasn't in the village she didn't know what was supposed to happen next.

Hoping that she wasn't breaking any rules, Miyu made her way to the village gates, a bag of her belongings slung across her shoulder. Her katana was strapped to a belt around her hip, on her left side so that she could easily reach it with her right. If no one stopped her, she'd walk out of the village, still unsure as to her destination.
