The sounds of birds chirping and the rustle of leaves could be heard throughout the serenity of the forest. It was truly a beauty with the plethora of wildlife. The sunlight peeked through the green located on the branches of trees. Such a thing gave the already peaceful forest an even more enchanting look. Green was currently walking through the endearing woodland, taking up yet another mission. The last one was pure success, forcing the higher ups to give the youth a new assignment to take up. He never knew it would be so quickly, though, as it was only a few hours after his first task. A breeze settled throughout the area, rushing passed his soft features and rustling his clothes. He couldn't use his skate in the environment he was in. Unless he somehow upgrades his ride, there is unfortunately no way for him to use it in the forest. And so, he decided to keep the item strapped to his back so it wouldn't be in his way. According to the mission he was given his objective was to collect lumber for the village. Sadly, he could not afford to damage his surroundings while he did so, otherwise he would fail his task.
Gather too many and that would mess with the trees protecting his home. Gather too little and there will not be enough lumber for the villagers. This will truly require a larger amount of effort than normal. The boy didn't pick up anything to assist him in cutting down the trees either. It seemed he would have to find a way while he was there. Green continued to walk until he arrived in front of a tree six meters tall. Thoughts and ideas raced throughout his head, each one of them not passing the test of being "efficient." Most were impossible to perform or merely idiotic. Of course, he was indeed an intelligent child, but he was far too lazy to actually take the time and think about any matter at hand. Something he would need to work on it seems. Seeing as he had no weapon on his frame, he would have to rely on brute strength to take down the trees. He couldn't burn them, nor could he use his bare hands to push down the tree. There had to be some sort of taijutsu technique in his arsenal he could utilize.
The boy took up several more moments to think. At most, there were only four taijutsu moves he knew of, two of which he barely learned. It seemed this would be the best time to test them out. He sucked in a large amount of air through his nose, releasing it through his mouth instead. Another small breeze enveloped the area, this time forcing the plants on the surface to sway along with Green's hair and clothes. It cooled him and helped him relax, even going as far as to make him think more clearly. He already ruled out two of the taijutsu techniques which came down to a single duo: Dynamic Entry and Leaf Gale. The power in Dynamic Entry should push the tree down and the momentum of the kick on Leaf Gale should also, depending on where the user strikes. He should use the latter for the weaker trees, the former for ones who seem somewhat sturdy. Now, to find out just how much lumber he should collect. "It should be an amount I'm comfortable with carrying...not too heavy, not too light." he mumbled with furrowed eyebrows.
Green quickly crouched down and eyed the tree before him. He was a single foot away, which should be the perfect distance for his technique. In a single burst of speed, the youth crouched down even further and performed a sweeping kick for the tree's base. He attempted this at his full strength in hopes of forcing the large plant to collapse. It was one of those that appeared to be easy to knock down, so his attack should have been successful. The tree violently shook back and forth before a loud creaking noise resounded throughout the area. Several seconds had passed before the tree finally leaned towards the surface, soon hitting the ground with a "thud." A smirk made it's way to Green's face at the sight, his strike obviously making its mark. He made his way over to the tree, bending down and tearing off the branches, tossing them into some random direction. He quickly searched the area, spotting many other trees that looked easy to knock down. The youth made his way over to the closest one, this standing a full meter away from it.
He crouched down, preparing his first attempt at the Dynamic Entry. He leaped off the ground at full force, launching into the air and aiming a kick the tree's weak spot once more. "DYNAMIC..." he shouted, once coming one foot away from the tree, "ENTRY!" His attack hit the tree head on, forcing it to shake the same way the first one had before before falling towards the ground. However, this time there was a domino effect in place. In the direction the tree was lowering stood yet another tree, with another one next that. After the first one hit the second large plant, the second one proceeded to hit the third. In short, all three trees were sent towards the ground, creating what seemed to a mini "earthquake" in the area. A low whistle erupted from the boy's mouth after he safely landed on the ground. He took a moment to stare at the sight of fallen trees before walking over to them, tearing off their branches the same way he did with the very first tree he attacked.
Green quickly rolled them one at a time to a single spot, sweat soon emanating from his forehead due to doing such a tiring action. After taking a few breaths as to stop his calm down his heart, he reached into his pocket, pulling out a rope that reached a length of ten meters, the width being nine inches. He swiftly tied the rope around the trees as well as he could, knowing it wouldn't be at top quality. The job forced him to get a bit winded, but it was nothing compared to what he was used to. And so, Green quickly rolled the four trees to the village, hopefully not getting them into anyone's path.
