Laz and Mugen's Test (p/NK)
Sat Jun 28, 2014 2:34 am
(This test has been approved by the great Maku)
By now, the two students should have the letters he had planted in their homes. They were placed in rather obvious places, so he wasn't worried about them being missed. The letters specified for the two to come to this exact spot for an urgent meeting with him, and little did they know they would be tested for their genin exam. He was disguised of course, hiding in some sparse trees in a long red coat with gold decorations, and a plain white mask. He would be unidentifiable by his students for this test. Now he only needed to wait for the proper moment.

Laz walked around the snow covered ground as he would wait for the others." I guess I was the first one here,I wonder what's so important" Laz said as he paced around waiting for someone to appear. The green haired boy would remove his hat from his head and sit down on the ground waiting and waiting.

As Mugen made his way passed the village gates, he couldn't help but think of the letter he received from Kiru. The fact that they were asked to go out into the Tundra made him wonder how urgent this meeting was. He could always find out once he arrived, but it didn't hurt to be a tiny bit cautious. He sighed and watched as his breathe appeared in the cold air. While he grew closer to his destination, he could spot a small dot in the distance, and it was growing into what appeared to be a person. The youth guessed that it was either Kiru or Lazuru, but by the height of the individual he was leaning towards latter. He placed a single hand high in the air and waved it back and forth, hoping they would see him. Mugen stopped walking once he was two meters from Lazuru with a small smile on his face.
"What's up?" he greeted, adjusting the navy blue scarf on his neck, "Hm...you would think that Kiru would be the first one here. A bit strange isn't it?" Now, the boy was looking around the area, pondering on the chuunin's whereabouts. There was a chance that he was running late, but if this was that urgent then he should have put aside everything else. Mugen wouldn't dwell on the matter though, just keep his guard up.

Kiru, currently high above the air, had switched to the chakra sensing portion of his mask and could see two signatures down where he had specified to his students. At least, he really hoped it was them. The red cloak swayed in the breeze, and his hair was hidden by the hood of it, his face hidden by the mask. Making sure they wouldn't be able to tell his identity, he signaled his dragon to hastily head to the forest floor.
The dragon would slam into the ground near the two, making snow and debris cover the air. As it cleared, he would hold up a bright blue coat. It was his coat actually, an old one from a spar from Kira. They would see it was tattered and pretty bloodly. He would toss it aside so that it floated away on the wind. "This is my domain now. The first fool, as you can see, was slaughtered. Do you peasants believe you stand a chance against me?"
He felt like he was really selling the performance, but he hoped they stayed and fought. He wouldn't want them to bail immediately.
(Oh hey, just realized that a certain character with a sharingan might feel a certain sense of loss from this. Hmm.. food for thought.)

"Dragons? So the emergency was a Dragon but it looks like Kiru was killed by it..." Laz said as he stared at the coat. "Its a good chance for me to leave but I don't think it will let me" Seeing Mugen had appeared as well he would turn to face him. "Look there's a Dragon and I have an idea, Ever played duck duck goose?" Laz said with a smile on his face. His mind was set on what he wanted to do but the plan would need the help of Mugen.
"Turning around to face the dragon he would pick up some snow and make a snowball.

He waited for a response from Lazuru, but it didn't seem that he would get once with the event that occurred next. Out of nowhere, a large dragon had appeared in the tundra of all places, landing on the ground close to their position. The creature's actions had forced him to take a single step back as he covered his eyes, protecting them from the debris that was caused. Once the snow in the atmosphere had finally cleared, the youth froze. A bloody blue coat was now in his sights, the article of clothing swaying in the wind. He could feel himself slightly trembling at the stranger's words, implying that he killed Kiru once the chuunin arrived. He killed Kiru. The shaking grew worst by the second as the boy glowered at the stranger. He wasn't shaking from fear, no, it was from anger.
Mugen snapped his attention to Lazuru once he heard words aimed in his direction. He furrowed his eyebrows at the idea and sighed. Duck duck goose...Laz would be the only person to use a game like that in battle.
"Are you sure we should do that? It's a freaking dragon after all...it might just chomp at us or something," he replied, settling into a battle stance, "But I might as well hear you out on this..." The boy leaped back by two meters to get some distance from the creature. He would rather wait for Laz to fully explain his plan before attacking.

The two hadn't ran. That was good. they had passed their first test. He needed to test each of their genin jutsu in turn now, without expending too much energy. They seemed to be coming up with some kind of strategy, so he thought he should wait. He also had to worry about staying in character as well. He should attack, but use it as an opportunity for them to set up their own strategies. He formed a jutsu, a spiral wind ball, and created two of them. "Are you prepared fools?"
He would launch the balls, hitting the snow in front of the two making a small crater. It would seem like he had barely missed, but their purpose was to give the students cover. He didn't want to block their attacks by reflex. Next, while they would have a bit difficulty seeing him, he chakra dashed into the safety of the trees. His dragon had instructions, while he would only assist if they needed to be pushed.

Laz had jumped back two meters as well when the two balls of wind hit the snow causing it to fly up in the air and blocking his view from the man and the dragon. Landing a few feet beside Mugen he would look for the man only to see he was gone. "Great" he thought to himself.
"The Man is gone....but who and where do you find a dragon? I'm like for real I kinda want a Dragon....wait I'm getting side tracked here, so like duck duck goose we simply do the game for example. We both run around the dragon saying duck duck well you get it...I run clock wise you run counter clock wise and..." Laz bent down to make some snowballs before continuing to speak. "One of us says goose and throw a snowball at the dragon as soon as we pass each other easy....I hope" He hoped his plan would work and seeing as they were fighting a Dragon doesn't mean he couldn't have fun while doing so. "So do this to get the dragon to chase one of us while the other gets on his back and ride the Dragon....so you wanna be Dragon rider or the bait?"

The boy could feel his muscles tense upon seeing the stranger form two balls made of wind. Once he saw the two projectiles make their way towards them, he immediately brought up his arms to protect his eyes. The technique had caused a large amount of snow to cover the air once more, giving the perfect cover for their future attack. His eyes were directed at Lazuru once said teen managed to land beside him, only to sigh once he brought up the topic of wanting a dragon.
"I don't even..." he mumbled, listening to the rest of Laz's explanation before speaking again, "Yeah, sounds easy enough. I'm quick so I'll be the Dragon Foo- I mean, bait."
He quickly formed familiar hand seals at his max speed, a puff of smoke soon surrounding his frame. It soon cleared to reveal another Lazuru, except this one looking a bit more serious. Yes, it was Mugen transformed into the fellow student. He was lucky that the snow hadn't cleared from the area just yet and it didn't seem like it would be leaving anytime soon. "Ready...set...Go!" he whispered out, dashing as fast as he could in a counter clockwise direction around the Dragon, which would be towards the right.
Hopefully Lazuru decided to run as well, for when he began his mad dash the snow in the air had finally cleared out. "Duck, Duck..." he yelled out as he ran, using Laz's voice due to the transformation technique.

Kiru smiled. Mugen used transformation to disguise himself as his teammate. Any normal enemy may actually assume Laz had used a clone jutsu and would remain wary of where Mugen would show up. This hesitation would put the opponent on defense, allowing the two to go through excellent offensive procedure. Their plan seemed a little odd, but the masked chuunin wasn't one to judge so he let them preform as they wanted.
As Mugen began running, Tatsakawa (Dragons name) Threw one of his chakra chains at the boy, which traveled at a speed of 50. If it was to hit, he would make it veer slightly as to miss by a hair. He purposely left the other boy unsupervised, curious as to their plan.
