Oh Shit...THOSE TWO KNOW EACHOTHER!?

Thankfully for all the sanity left in the world, the two in question did not actually know each other yet. They did not even know each other existed. All they knew was there was someone else powerful in this lousy excuse for a casino, at least Kuro expected he did. Kuro could feel the man's intentions were on a completely different level than any other in this trashy little pile of free money for the moderately intelligent, or as the sheep called it, a casino. Oh yes, Kuro was gambling the casino's money away. That is to say, he was doing the responsible thing to do as a ninja. Cheating the fuck out of civilians right under their noses. He was a natural at counting cards, being who he was, but even further than that, he was able to actually read people's intentions by using Kenbunshoku Haki. A neat little trick he had picked up from a dead man's chest. Literally, someone had taken the ribs of a dead man and made words out of them, giving instructions on how to use Kenbunshoku, and barely anything about Busoshoku, but Kuro was okay with that. He always did learn best by himself. Learning from others meant learning their styles, whereas Kuro forced reality into his own style because fuck it. That was pretty much the idea behind literally everything Kuro had ever done. We should probably back up a bit.

Last we saw of the Mad Mystic, he had just vanished towards Kumo with Kamui, after having robbed a bank for a girl. He did things like that, mostly for the fun of it. If he was going to get money, he was going to have fun doing it! In any case, as he arrived in Kumo, he found himself lost beyond all reason. Alice, Yaju, Misaki, and Hika were nowhere to be sensed. Maybe it was the fact that he simply couldnt really feel this new sensory power that magically came with Kamui for some reason yet, but maybe it was something else. As he walked through Kumo, he began to feel different things from people. In the red light district, it was as if EVERYONE was either obsessed with money or sex. Not that he could blame them. Money was damn useful, and sex was just awesome feeling, he assumed. Yup. Still a virgin. Probably because he was the kinda guy who waited for the girl to make the first move, but with his unapproachable nature, it was hard to find a girl tough enough. On the bright side, however, he did like strong women. Not just physical strength either, but mental strength. Those who were simply stubborn enough to do what they wanted because they wanted it. Those were the ones he respected most.

Kuro had walked through Kumo for hours before coming across the most unusual pile of bones ever. See, the bones had been nothing but rib bones, which seemingly spelled out instructions on how to use something called "Kenbunshoku Haki" Kuro laughed. The color of Observation? Kinda name was that? Sounded like... Actually it sounded pretty useful. From the bones, he could tell it was some kind of sensory ability. It didnt even rely on chakra! How interesting... After several hours of studying the possible meanings, which basically meant that Kuro took a nap for a few hours, he finally began to 'feel' for lack of a better term, people. Then he began to feel people. Literally, hands on asses and chests because he felt like it. Apparently if he didnt guard himself the other people's intentions slightly influenced his own. After essentially raping everyone in the red light district with his eyes (mostly undressing though, since he could literally do that with Kamui), he decided to go for a walk. He was quite unsure how exactly he ended up from Kumogakure to Tanzaku Town without breaking out of the forest he went through once, but it happened anyway. Maybe he had magically teleported with Kamui to somewhere he was simply supposed to be?... Cool.

Kuro sighed as another fool left his table. Quite frankly it was amazing he hadnt been banned yet, judging from the sheer mass of chips in front of him. All the cheating in the world, and no one had even caught him. From Kenbunshoku Haki to the hidden byakugan in his chest to his ability to count cards, not a single person even thought ht was cheating... He sighed again, wondering what was wrong with people, right as he showed his two cards, a jack, and an ace. Blackjack... woo. Maybe sometime soon someone interesting would come in... He sincerely hoped.

Natures a funny thing, natural disasters occur all the time, human killing forces caused by some other scientific method of another...even some spiritual, Echo while as Sage is also a man who has studied Chakra theory so he can develop his own techniques, but he's also a Sage...So the spiritual part of the world is just as important to him. Science and Nature, Knowledge and Tradition...They can co-exist as long as one implements logic...For example, people used to Sacrifice one hundred virgins every one hundred years to the Demon known as the Sanbi, fearing tidal waves...but the Sanbi probably didn't even care about the virgins, just heard screaming from some petty human females who he then squished so he could return to his nap...

Eventually people realized that even with the virgins, the Sanbi would kill them...And without the Virgins...Eh, he probably wouldn't care. Tradition broken after logic was implemented. Harmless traditions are fine as long as they do not hinder progress and progress is fine...As long as it does not disturb the Balance. Echo is one person who is actually quite the contradiction..So much so he could possibly be insane, he's a man of Nature..An ANBU Black-ops. Enjoys the idea of life and the preservation of it...But often has the urge to brutally murder pretty much everyone he's ever met save for a few...
He doesn't...but the point is he REALLY REALLY wants too...
It's important for an individual like this to unwind, so it is during his few month training journey he's decided to take a break in everyone's favorite den of sin...
Tanzaku Gai..If these walls had mouths...They keep em shut, because they've seen some shit and don't need ANY of yours Skippy.

It's at this time Echo walks inside a Casino and notices several men and women alike storming away from a table, he raises an eyebrow barely concealed by the top of his trademark goggles, his gaze trails towards the table there leaving and he finds a single man and a few other near broke morons and the deal sitting while glaring at there cards..
Calmly he walks over, his choker wrapped around his neck with the red gem gleaming in the center...Something of his own creation back a few years..Crafted from the chakra of the Kyuubi no Youko and through intense concentration and more fuinjutsu seals then you can even imagine inside a very large room..It was crystallized..Makes it easier for him to draw upon the creatures power if need be.
His attire is simple, a pair of jeans a red T-shirt and his black jacket. He speaks simply, his eyes half lidded and lazy as he states "Deal me in." And after reaching into his pocket he simply drops a stack of ryo notes onto the table he grins wide, giving him the demeanor of a fool...It's amazing how many people find him an easy mark despite his lean athletic frame and the scars on his fingers which easily pin him as a Shinobi..or at least one with Shinobi training..
Still he speaks after being handed his cards, he whistles in an impressed manner and lying through his teeth he boasts "Oh hell! You all are going down!" He remarks with a small chuckle sounding vaguely along the lines of "Deheheeh~!" While he rocks from side to side as if intoxicated.

Images flash before his eyes and he glances up towards the man across from him, the suddenness of it alarming himself for a moment...
So many possibilities with this one...It's almost impossible to pinpoint what he'll do in the future...
How strange.
Still, his grin is in place and unknowingly it turns a bit feral as his boredom vanishes a bit, his goggle obscured crimson eyes inadvertently showing him all sorts of interesting possibilities...

And suddenly, he saw. Unlike most people's intentions, Echo's intentions were warped. Not a bad thing, necessarily, but the fact remained that this guy was just strange. Between what was most likely the intentions of a dual personality, the seemingly timeless intentions of this man, and his natural intentions, which would normally be enough for Kuro to be interested in, Kuro didnt know when he began to grin evilly, only that he had. This man had power, and he could change things. Neat. Kuro did not fully understand what he felt from this man, but it felt like... nonexistent existence. The mere fact that Kuro knew what that would be like is due to his varying experiments and theories on the matter of time itself. Kuro had to admit, he was interested in who this man was already. Could he possibly be some foreign power, much like Kuro himself? The man was dressed strangely, yes, but this was also coming from a man with a pirate Captain's wonderful black and red hat, with a fluff feather on the left side, a black on the outside, red on the inside and sleeves, coat, with no shirt, and simply blue jeans as pants, not to mention his heavy boots. Of course then there was the sword strapped to his back. Maybe THAT was why no one had decided to try and remove him. He did give off a pretty intimidating aura, which was probably why the guards hadnt asked for his age, seeing that he had no headband, nor did he have any kunai on him. He looked like a simple traveling swordsman, with marvelous facial hair. Oh yes, his marvelous parted mustache, both sides angled in an obtuse way, with his side burns forming dagger-like points to try, but fail, to connect to his mustache.Finally, his chin-strip beard completely the strange yet fitting look.

Kuro had to commend the man who walked in, mostly because of the sheer awesomeness of his attire. Unlike Kuro, Echo was not wearing fancy clothing. A simple red shirt, with a black jacket, but damn if he didnt pull it off. Or maybe it was just Kuro's love of red and black? The choker was a bit odd, but that was no big deal, other than the screaming but pathetic intention within it. A sealed object? What could possibly be so weak willed that Kuro though of it as pathetic when even civilians were decent? Itd have to be some kind of either mindless animal, or the seal which bound whatever it was to the choker was far more complex, and actually diverted the thing's intentions. It would be possible, actually. He had never met a jinchuuriki that he knew of, so he had no idea if it was an unintended effect or not, but he could safely assume this man had SOMETHING. Probably something strange, judging from the fact that the man had just as strong intentions as Kuro, which should have been impossible when you considered how ridiculously stubborn Kuro was. Granted, he gave into Misaki pretty easily, but that was more because of his loyalty to her, not her willpower. Though... lately his loyalty had fallen a bit. He would have never hid something from her before, but now... In any case, he noticed the man before he even came towards the table. Unfortunately, Kuro had used the muscle in his eye that used Kamui when he turned his eyes from Echo to the table, resulting in some poor bastard at another table losing his fortune as it was sucked into a wormhole that led to Kuro's Kamui dimension. Great. He could be rich and he would still steal from people, if just for fun.

Kuro had to admit, however, he did not expect Echo to act so strangely, pretending to be a fool when in reality the man was obviously intelligent. Then again, it may just be a ploy to get more money. Still, Kuro had not been a thief for long, but he could tell both combat abilities and wealth from simply someone's way of speaking and walking. Strangely, that seemed not to apply to Echo. Interesting. Suddenly, Kuro felt a pat on his shoulder. He turned to stare at the now frightened guard. What was he so frightened about? Kuro glanced at his reflection in the man's eyes, before wanting to smack himself. He had his EMS on. Fuck. Well, at least this was the only man who saw it. Within the fraction of a second, the man disappeared into Kamui. Naturally, civilians could not track the speed of Kamui, so it appeared to them as if the man just disappeared. Deciding to play around, Kuro glanced right at the man who was the head guard, before speaking calmly. "Oh my. It seems as if he just vanished. I wonder what could have happened to him." Naturally, Kuro spoke calmly, with little care about consequences or guilt. He could have killed the man instead, but he just teleported the man into Kamui. He could easily get him back later. The head guard was too frightened to even try to reply. Kuro immediately turned off his EMS, turning back to the table, but he noticed that perhaps someone at the table had seen his eyes. Likely the only other person who could have possibly tracked the use of Kamui. This would either end amusing, or ridiculously annoying. It would also end up bankrupting the casino.

As with all things, Kuro expressed his normal amount of caution with the man. One secret of his theft was a secondary use of Kamui. Not only could he put things into Kamui, but he could take things out as well, so he had placed several key cards in his dimension, all faced down. He simply replaced some cards with cards he KNEW would win for him, and lose for everyone else. Now, he had done something completely different. He watched calmly as the man he had kamui'd before appeared right above the person beside Echo, crashing into each other, stumbling around. How would Echo react to the person beside him get sent crashing from a man who appeared from nowhere? Oh wait, he hadnt even introduced himself. He turned to Echo. "I am Kuro... And you are?" He spoke politely, while imaging thousands of ways this casino could quite simply fall apart. He did things like that, get used to it. Naturally, Kuro was one of the few who simply did not make sense, so his actions were random at best, and downright insane at worst. He had to wonder who this man was and how he would react.

Pirate man, Echo's never met a pirate before, well he will..He thinks if he does a certain action involving a soup kitchen at a certain time while drunk he could possibly end up in one location where he'll meet a few, the alternative is he simply arrives at his destination or stranded on an island with strange giant creatures that he's actually seen once before...

He's fairly sure Samuru had one, the old man seems..or rather WOULD seem interested in some point in the future, if he actually does make it there or not..
This can get confusing, but it helps to stop seeing everything in a straight line and more like several overlapped grids, with several actions and possibilities going both forward and backward. His future self is a know-it all prick and his past-self is a slow-fucker that will never be as wise as he is now.

It's still confusing but rather, the whole point of this is that everything is happening at once for Echo, in his present and yet he's here and knows whats going on around him and everything that is going to happen around him, rather he knows several of the things that MIGHT happen around him or MIGHT not, the most likely one is usually the one he picks out in order to judge what's happening or what might happen...It's not 100% nothing ever is!

If it was, Life would be boring. Life without surprises or problems? That would be pointless, whats the fun in getting everything you want instantly? You stop appreciating things, you don't stop for a moment to enjoy the flowers. Oh hey, that was Sharingan...Oh, hey...That was Kamui wasn't it? Echo for a time did in fact have that ability but due to a mutation caused by an overdose of the Kyuubi's volatile chakra and his eyes being replaced by Rinnegan temporarily that ability simply vanished...Rather, it evolved and split almost..And was factored in by his emotions..
Life is strange, the power of the human mind is even stranger...The fact that that civilian just got sucked into a pocket dimension? Fucking priceless!
"DAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!" Echo can't help but bust out laughing at the act, the guys fine but he must be flipping shit right now, he knows enough about the technique to realize that it's pretty much like a prison cell rather then anything really dangerous, a nice assassination tool but nothing really to worry about...Unless he decides to rip someone in half, of course it's more fun to do that with your bare hands...Not that he'd do that anymore.

Just when he calms his loud laughter down to muffled snickers, the man drops the guy onto the one sat beside him and he snorts before his forehead hits the table and he has to stop himself from falling over from his laughter...After a moment he composes himself and simply answers with "Echo." he answers while clearing his throat and calming his laughter while folding his hand after the recovered man simply raises the bet, showing Echo a smug smirk to which Echo only waves.

Echo glances towards the man, giving his name because he knows there is no point in lying, three scenarios are rather destructive because of a lie and honestly he doesn't have time to play and just wants to train and relax while he's nearby this town, too much going on currently. He rolls his shoulders and waves over a waiter, ordering something non-alcoholic this once, he'll have to b running around and he doesn't need his control shot cause the Kyuubi decided to be a wise-guy and not dilute it. So, a simple flavored cola will do. "You bored too??" He asks simply while glancing around "I don't think most of these civs even realize what happened.." he states simply losing his drunken demeanor but he's still slouching..This man is interesting...Everyone is just so damn predictable lately but this guy seems to know his shit. Or at the very least, know enough while winging it to make it look like he knows exactly what he's doing...Woah, that's an interesting way to use a salad fo- THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A SALAD BAR HERE! HOW DID HE EVEN DO THAT!?

Echo glances up his eyebrow raising as he notes one very interesting possibility of undefined nature involving a Salad fork which un-plausibly happened to be there.

Kuro chuckled lightly. This man was indeed interesting. He had to question why the man felt the need to come to the casino, when he could have just robbed a bank, like Kuro himself had. Oh well, no point questioning things that did not matter in the slightest amount. Kuro decided to have some fun. Let me reiterate, the guy who thought it would be a good idea to punch a bijuu in the face, right after assassinating a kage, was going to have some fun. For most people, fun means playing a game, watching a movie, or even for ninja, training. For Kuro? Just hope you arent in the vicinity when he tries to have fun. Half because you are either the poor victim of said fun, or you will simply be sucked into the chaos that is this fun. Aaanyway, Kuro glanced at where Echo was looking. A salad fork... well that gave him a wonderful idea. Taking the salad fork in hand, Kuro flicked it as hard as he could at the wall, recognizing a small crack. The fork embedded itself, handle first, in the wall, but no one paid attention, too fast for them. Kuro immediately stood up. "Why dont you come with me then, Echo?" Kuro grinned before walking out of the casino, completely forgetting about all his winnings, mostly cause he didnt care about them. As Kuro walked, he did not even bother to check if Echo was following him. He likely would be. By the time Kuro got outside, things were going crazy inside.

The fork that had embedded itself in the wall hit a wire, causing a small jolt, just enough to carry the shock all the way from the fork, to the closest electrical outlet. The outlet in question was the main connection for most of the slot machines. In the same instant, everyone pulled their handle for the slot machines. For a moment, nothing. In the next second, thirty two loud "JACKPOT"s sounded aloud in the casino, causing three people to go deaf. One of the poor people had been standing so close to the machine his ears began to bleed. As they bled, the caused a small, nearly unnoticeable due to the red floor, pool of blood to form. The deaf man ran out of the casino, trying to get home and stop the bleeding, most likely because he was drunk enough to think he was a doctor when he was clearly an electrician. As the man ran, he pushed down several security guards. When they all looked up, they saw a man who looked amazingly similar to the man who had knocked them down, run right towards the slot machines. Naturally, they chased him. As they chased the man, one of the guards accidentally shot his stun gun off, which set fire to the card table, which had alcohol spilled onto it earlier. The guards believed someone else would put it out and continued to chase the man who ran from them. The last guard, however, slipped on the pool of blood, sliding right into the salad fork, pushing it almost a centimeter deeper. The walls began to shake, scaring everyone away from the casino. In less than a minute, everyone else was gone from the casino, even the guards. In the next moment, the entire building collapsed on itself, on fire and ruined.

Kuro stared at the carnage and had to wonder what kind of asshole had done this. "Wonder what I should do now..." He asked himself out loud. Maybe he could find a jewelry store and buy a watch or necklace... preferably a gold cross necklace with a dagger hidden inside... thatd be sweet.

Echo's eyes trail towards the mans hand as it grasps a salad fork, it is then he simply slaps some money down on the table snatches a nearby mans hat and rips his trench-coat off and puts it around himself. He stands and follows the man "Yup, time to go." He states completing this actions as the man stands up and asks.

This method wasn't fatal, a few injuries but he's seen some of the things these people have done.
They deserve a bit of pain at least, fatalities he'll go ahead and move to stop, a quick jump and a dash and he should be capable of dashing anyone out of harms way that he has too...
Mouthing to himself he counts down "Three. Two. One." And with that the crash resounds behind him and he rolls his eyes with an amused smirk on his face while he wears the brown trench-coat and hat. "You ever flip a building and keep it structurally sound?" He asks simply taking two black finger less gloves out from the pockets of the trenchcoat, along with a silver case, which he flips open. Revealing a tray of cigarillo's, his smirk widens and he plucks one out and lets it rest inside of his mouth.

He simply extends his hand and offers one of em to his current conversation partner, taking the lighter out with his free hand while lighting his own. Why steal, when you can win in a game of chance? Sure he could kill them all, or even just beat them within an inch of there lives..Or even simply take them along with the loot...
But eventually that method gets boring. Mundane, to a being that has surpassed mundane means..becomes the new extraordinary after a while..

For example, a Shinobi really rarely HAS to walk anywhere! They can just, roof hop or fly or teleport..
But the novelty of walking is something that sticks with us. And someone who can barely be considered a Shinobi like Echo Uchiha, rather enjoys taking it slow nowadays...
Even though he can whizz past everything in a blur of wind and speed leaving a trail of nothing in his wake. Well, yeah...but he misses the view and camping sometimes...So why not right?

In any case, this guy beside him is some type of 'eating your baby' insane.
And he's surprisingly okay with that, considering how much insanity is around him almost all the time. ...BUT SERIOUSLY! FUCKING SALAD FORK!!! HOW DID IT GET THERE!? HOW DID....WHAT!?
Forget it. Done thinking about it, some levels, he just...yeah he has to stop caring. He'll just ignore it or his brain will most likely pop...That was pretty neat though.

Kuro was indeed insane, but at least he had curbed his more lethal tendencies. In fact, had he done the same action a year ago he would have killed all those inside. Even if he did not try to, it just wouldve happened. Kuro had this strange affect on his environment, making things he wanted to happen, happen. He never bothered to try and explain it, because it had never made any sense. His mind was incredible and random, but at this point in time, NOTHING could possibly comprehend his strange ability to force others to feel his emotions. Mostly because I havent made a skill for it, but thatll be later. For those who fear insanity, Kuro is the truest form of their fear. His madness is not only bizarre, but infectious. The mere presence of his madness caused others to follow him. Kuro liked to think of it as the aura of a leader, but he preferred to call it "BITCH I OWN YOU", really loudly. Half because he practically DID own civilians, and half because their faces looked hilarious after he shouted it. But that was a year ago, and this was a far different time. Right now, he was calmer, far calmer. Before he had tried going the 'good' path, but that was practically DESTINED to fail. For now, he decided to try going slow, to the chaotic neutral path, then perhaps chaotic good. If not, then what the hell, he may just stay cool like he was.

As Kuro watched the casino literally crash and burn, he had the strangest feeling he was being watched. Actually, it felt more like his entire presence was being raped by someone's eyes and thoughts. Turning to Echo, he blinked. Was something wrong with him? Echo was looking at him in such a strange manner. Oh... he had his sharingan active. That explained why Echo was glancing at him strange, since his chakra was black, rather than the normal blue. That was from his dark nature, or something else just as bullshit sounding. He never really knew for sure, but his chakra had always been black. Either way, it was an awesome aesthetic touch. Black fireballs, black lightning, black fists punching you right in the face. Wait, everyone had black busoshoku, did that count? recalling the times he had beaten the shit out of Chikishi, yes, yes it did. Oh, right, Kuro activated his sharingan as well, easily going into the rinnegan state, before smirking. "I do believe that I win." Ouch, that was a dick move. Good thing Kuro had the conscience of a madman, otherwise he might just feel bad about that. No one else, to his knowledge, had the rinnegan. Though, Hika might, since he hadnt seen him in a year, and they both had the same qualifications... You know, except that Kuro was a chakra god and much much muuuuuch stronger than Hika was. Then again, maybe Hika unlocked some secret to constantly keep all eight gates open... thatd be cool.

Kuro's rinnegan was a darker shade than most other rinnegan, not that he had ever seen one. His was a dark gray, rather than the light gray and purple most had. Even if only like two others had it at all. Of course, Kuro didnt know any of that, since his knowledge of the last year of news had not reached him. Being on that strange island with those odd animals had some problems, but it unlocked his Haki, so that was good. "Hey, you ever heard of Haki?" Kuro was not quite sure why he asked, but the words just came out. Maybe he wanted another student? As if Yaju, Alice, and Aneya werent enough... Then again, his true goal was to eventually be able to claim Misaki as his student. Thatd be awesome. 'Hey where did the Raikage train?' 'With some guy named Kuro.' 'I heard about that guy, claims to have punched a bijuu in the face, Sanbi if I remember.' 'If he trained her, I wouldnt doubt it.' Whoa, he needed to stop those internal conversations that had not happened yet or may not even ever happen at all. It might get annoying. "So, whatcha wanna do now?"

Echo raises an eyebrow at the strange show of the mans Rinnegan and grins in a cheeky manner "Heeh~? Rinnegan huh? That's four pairs I've seen in my life time.." He notes with a shrug, a rare ability he's noting currently. How this man has it is a bit of a mystery, not lost in time but simply lost to his perception currently.

He's got no reason to question it however, however something he said earlier peaks his interest "Haki? Never heard of it." Echo states with a shrug, his raised eyebrow shows his intrigue on this subject however. It's not often Echo finds something he's never heard of, it sounds like something that just might be interesting but it also might just be some joke-ninjutsu somebody came up with..

He's run into several 'Legendary' techniques that turned out to be some kind of water spurt technique, kinda like a watergun going off. Which was pretty fun, yet ceased to be funny when Echo beat the man to a bloody pulp for attacking him.

Still this guys kinda nuts, probably more crazy then he was, he's still pretty crazy but he's the type of crazy that just has to ignore all the other crazy that's going on around him while planning around it. On a partially related note, he wonders if that Casino had insurance...

Kuro blinked. Four other people with rinnegan? Wait, Echo may have met that one guy who Sanbi killed, so that would make three others... Hikarashi was a possibility, but who else? Eh, did it matter? Honestly, Kuro didnt give a right shit. He got the rinnegan as a giant 'fuck you' to the senju and uchiha clans. Seriously, could there be a better insult than someone from NEITHER clan getting BOTH their kkgs AND rinnegan? He didnt think so. He did not actually care about Uchiha or Senju, but he did find it amusing. Mostly because EVERYONE and their mother was one of those clans, usually Uchiha. All this hype about the uchiha for a pair of eyes? Geeze, he understood the rinnegan, but the sharingan itself was not that good. It wasnt that bad either, but it was far from the best kkg out there. Oh well, even though there were far better bloodlines, sharingan got all the hype, no real point complaining. Even so, he held nothing against uchiha personally, just the fame they got for literally nothing. If they did something themselves, cool, but if they were just lil shits who thought their last names made them gods? He used to eat them, now he just made them piss themselves. He really had calmed down on most things with his training.

"Haki... its hard to explain. Imagine your willpower having a physical effect, thats pretty much it." Okay, maybe a better explanation was in order. He actually wasnt too surprised Echo hadnt heard of Haki, it being rather rare among shinobi. "Basically, You just... will it to happen. It is literally that simple.
