Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Fri Oct 17, 2014 5:07 pm
Kemuri stopped his hatred of the Aburame clan for a few moments while Kenshin spoke, eventually forgetting about it... for the moment. Shaking his head a bit after staring off into the distance while remembering the battle, his attention would shift to Kenshin while he spoke and rose his hand in front of himself, shortly afterwards a storm seeming to appear out of nowhere. "How magnificent." He said, being quite honestly rather impressed with what some jutsu could do, especially seeing as he hasn't seen many jutsu in his short life so far as a ninja. Looking down at the sizable puddles that had begun forming, he would glance towards Tank, seeing him immediately begin attempting to manipulate it. Being sure to not to be shown up by Tank, he would just as well begin to attempt it. Looking down at the nearest puddle to him, he kneeled beside it, placing his hand inside of the water and instantly beginning to flow chakra through it and into the puddle. Though with no notable change occuring, Kemuri continued to flow his chakra into the puddle, attempting to get it to move even a little from where it's current location was at. It took some time, but eventually after focusing quite strongly, the water began to move very slightly from it's mostly stagnant position. Grinning to himself as he did so, Kemuri would continue to flow chakra from his hand into the puddle, knowing very well that he wasn't even close to mastering it simply because he could get a little water to slosh around. After making the water slosh around a bit, he seemed to stop making progress, knowing after only a few seconds that he wasn't going to be able to continue progressing the element by just flowing chakra into it. From his experience training his earth chakra nature, similarly to Tank, he knew that he had to move the chakra throughout the water in ways that were more in tune with that element. For water, that happened to be more smooth and elegant movements since he couldn't just muscle it around as he liked to do with his earth jutsu. The water required more precision than earth had, and thus forced him to learn new ways of using his chakra to in turn move the water in more advanced ways.

Roughly five minutes of focusing had been all that was required for him to begin to get the hang of using his chakra in a different way than he was used to, as he was generally more in tune with his chakra network than Tank seemed to be, especially since Tank seemed to be nothing more than a physically based fighter to Kemuri. Regardless of how he felt of Tank's chakra manipulating abilities, he had noticed that Tank was capable of parting the puddle rather early on into the training and felt that he would be that guy that one ups people, as he was rather arrogant. Pouring some chakra into the puddle his hand had been submerged in for the past five minutes, he began to move it around in considerably more precise ways than when he had begun to move it earlier, the water seeming to follow the movements of his chakra. A small ball of water, roughly a few inches in diameter would form from the water on the surface of the puddle, the ball seeming to lie atop the puddle before Kemuri flipped his hand, palm facing upward, and rose it from the puddle. The ball of water lied in his hand in perfect shape as he rose it from the puddle, actually making the ball rise from the surface of his hand about an inch before it became unstable and fell apart. "Damn it." He said in an absurdly monotone voice for exclaiming disappointment in one's failure.

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Kenshin would simply watch the two of them for a few moments as they attempted to move the water up until they point where they had both accomplished it. "I assume I don't have to baby the two of you" he said as he slowly backed away from them a few meters before turning around to face the other direction and quickly form the tiger handseal and inhale a large quantity of air as he began to mold a massive amount of his chakra similar to how he would when using the fireball jutsu but with a much larger amount of chakra. Assuring that he was far from any other training shinobi and the trees he would quickly jerk his head forward as a huge flame spewed from his mouth with great speed and intensity covering a wide and lengthy expanse of the training grounds in front of him. The blaze reaching past his lips exactly seventy meters, spreading fifty to char an immensely large section of the training grounds, however everybody there was kept outside of its range thanks to him checking the area before he began. Small patches of grass still lit on fire the rain that drizzled down from the storm he had created would slowly begin putting them out at a slow rate and with a smirk he turned back towards Tank and Kemuri after his immense display of power. "Would either of you care to use any of your new found abilities to try and put out those flames?" he asked trying to motivate the two of them into using the element of water in some way to practice their skills. Slowly making his way back over to where they both were at he would speak once again "I would suggest this time that you try doing more than simple moving puddles if you plan to put out my flames before they spread to the trees. However if you aren't up to the challenge I will simply have to do it myself so nobody is in danger".

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Tank would stay kneeled down on the ground and look on at Kemuri as he was also getting the hang of manipulating the water. Noticing as he attempted to lift some of the water shaped like a ball out of the puddle. Kemuri didn't make it very far with that attempt, but it did show he was a bit more ambitious than Tank had been. Looking back up toward Kenshin when he spoke and headed off to a bit of a secluded area for some reason. Watching intently Tank noticed Kenshin perform a single hand sign and breathe in deeply. Tank thought to himself about what jutsu he was about to perform. Maybe it would be a weak water jutsu that he wanted to show them. However that thought quickly vanished as he saw a massive amount of fire begin to exit from Kenshin's mouth. To Tank it looked like a mythical dragon had shown up and set the training field ablaze. The wall of fire was so big infact Tank fell backward onto his butt fearing that the fire would get out of control and catch the whole training grounds and nearby forest on fire. Luckily this didn't happen and the fire seemed to disappear as fast as it had flashed out of Kenshin's mouth. Tank got back up onto his feet and stared toward Kenshin listening to him speak about puting out the small fires that were left before they could spread or Kenshin would do it himself. Tank nodded his head and began moving toward the small fires that were all around the area Kenshin had gone over to. Noticing several larger puddles nearby Tank decided he would test himself a bit try to move the majority of the puddle to squelch the fires around him. He would then perform the sign of confrontation and begin focusing a good amount of his chakra into large puddle near him. With his chakra he began swirling the puddle around giving it a small vortex in the middle. Now with the water spinning around Tank would force the issue a little more and use the momentum of the water to throws splashes of water outward and aimed at the small fires nearby. The water would fly through the air and land mostly where he had planned for them to exstinguishing the flames near Tank. Tank looked around to find more fires to put out before they could spread.

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Kemuri looked back down at the puddle which lied at his feet, shaking his head a bit before kneeling down once again and preparing to put his hand inside of it once more until he heard kenshin speak, raising his head to shake it a bit as to confirm his assumption, Kenshin walking to a part of the training grounds a bit away from their current position but still within sight. Looking back down at the puddle beneath him, he plunged his hand into the water once again, beginning to pour chakra into it before noticing that there were quite a bright light shining upon him, getting brighter very quickly along with the sounds of flames. Glancing up, Kemuri saw the massive inferno of flames that Kenshin had just spewed from his mouth. The excitement began to well up inside of him as the light from the fires shone in his eyes, standing immediately from his kneeling position and staring at the flames. "I'm going to learn jutsu like that." he stated to himself, furthering his determination to become considerably stronger than he currently was. He had already gotten an idea for a jutsu simply from watching Kenshin perform this, though he was quite obviously not capable of performing it with his current level of power. Listening to what Kenshin was saying after performing the jutsu, Kemuri began to walk towards where he was right after he said it, glancing at one of the nearer puddles to a fire and beginning to channel his chakra into it, using the same way of manipulating his chakra that he had used earlier once again, causing the water to move along the ground. It wasn't just a small ball of water this time, however. It was an entire puddle which he was moving along the ground towards one of the smaller fires, rather quickly putting it out, also however making the puddle quite a bit smaller. -this isn't going to work- he thought to himself whilst he watched the fires burn. Not wanting at all to fail at putting the fires out and forcing Kenshin to do so, as that would be rather embarrassing, he would rather promptly begin to perform a technique which he had learned the concept of from watching one of the few Iburi in the compound which became ninjas, something they used to seemingly create an element from nothing. Though it seemed near impossible for him to perform it so early after learning how to use the water chakra nature, Kemuri was a rather ingenious mind... also having a knack for learning how to perform things he watches rather quickly. Quickly performing a few seals and raising his hand to his mouth as he had seen the ninja from his compound do earlier in his life as a ninja. To his own surprise even, a somewhat small spout of water began to shoot from his mouth and towards one of the larger fires eradicating it rather quickly before the water cut off and Kemuri put his hand back down. "Well that was fast." He said.

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Slowly beginning to clap as he watched the two of them work towards putting out the fires he was rather impressed by both of them, however Kemuri was able to take the cake as he was capable of spewing a somewhat large amount of water from his mouth, something most people would be unable to do for a rather long period of time, showing he did not need a water source even this early after learning the element. Stopping his clapping he would continue to watch the two as they proceeded on with putting out the fires and chuckling to himself he decided to do something that would likely piss them both off. Forming the tiger handseal once again he would face away from the charred earth where lushes green grass was still prominent and exhaling lightly he would release a steady stream of weak flames that would sprout out three meters in front of him. Setting a relatively small patch of grass on fire he would smirk. "I believe you missed a spot!" he would call out to the two of them as the blaze slowly began to crawl along the earth and spread. The rain still drizzling down from the sky would luckily slow the progress of these flames greatly but if one or both of them did not rush over and attend to it, it would likely get out of control. Hoping only one of them would attend to the matter and learn how to split work between them he would simply watch and wait, hoping to see even greater improvment in their usage of the chakra nature he was attempting to teach them

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Tank continued to manipulate the puddles around him to put out the fires around the training ground area that Kenshin had performed the giant fire technique. While he continued to do this it became easier and easier while he continued to gain more control and knowledge on how the water element worked. Soon enough looking over toward Kemuri he noticed that he was already capable of expelling water from his own body. Tank became a bit jealous and decided he would attempt to do the same although he wasn't really sure how he would do it. Finding a smaller fire near the edge of the training ground that was sure to spread into the forest if it wasn't stopped Tank ran over toward it. Remembering the hand signs Kemuri had just performed he would copy Kemuri's exact actions. Focusing his chakra in his stomach he would begin feeling like he was about to puke. Tank's mouth began to water and his stomach expanded to look like he had stuffed himself full of food. With a quick push he would spit out a decent amount of water from his mouth however it would only go forward several feet. The water went far enough to land on the fire and put it out, but he waas rather disappointed because Kemuri's had been more successful.  He could then hear Kenshin speak to them both again saying something about them missing a spot. Turning around to check what he meant Tank would see a new fire spreading across the grass in the other direction of the original flames. "How the hell did... damnit Kenshin." Looking over toward Kemuri Tank would hopefully see him going toward the new flames to put them out as he was more successful with the new element so far. Tank would continue on practicing spitting the water from his mouth on the original fires that Kenshin had made finishing up what was left of them before turning back to see how the new flames were doing.

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Kemuri was rather prideful with how he had successfully performed a jutsu, albeit to a fairly weak degree; until of course he turned around to see the newly made fires once he heard Kenshin say they had missed a spot. "Son of a bitch." he said before beginning to lightly jog towards the fire, as he of course saw absolutely no reason for exerting himself to get to a slow burning fire. Getting a new idea of how to use the water around him, he began to pour his chakra out of his body and into the surrounding air in an attempt to stop some of the rain from falling around him. Though this attempt was somewhat successful in slowing the rain in it's descent, it in no way stopped it completely, Kemuri knowing he wasn't nearly skilled enough in the use of the water chakra nature to perform such a feat. Once again raising his hand to his mouth after performing the seals he had done previously, he would shoot a spout of water from his mouth towards the flames, the spout quite a bit weaker than the one he had shot at the foliage earlier. The water eliminated the flames with relative ease as he removed his hand from the outside of his mouth and placed it at his side, looking up to Kenshin in the process. "Come on man. I don't want to be putting out fires all day." He said in a slightly more annoyed sounding tone of monotone.

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Chuckling lightly at the reactions and actions of Tank and Kemuri he would wave his left hand towards both of them "Sorry, it just felt right". His hand slowly dropping back down to his side he would look up towards the sky for a moment as he thought about what to do next. Should he attempt to teach them more or should he simply leave them to their own devices and let them do as they please? Deciding against it he would look to Tank and then Kemuri before he spoke "Perhaps you both should just try and produce as much water as possible to test your limits thus far. After that you both should probably just do whatever you want because I don't know what else I feel like trying to teach you, possibly just go back to the earth spear technique I showed you". The rain that had been coming down would abruptly stop and the dark clouds over head would quickly begin to part as rays of sunlight would shine down. The light being reflected off the water that the shower of rain had produced would cause a long arching rainbow to appear over the training grounds, a rather lovely sight to see every so often. Sadly however Kenshin was not a nature nut and nearly completely ignored its appearance and simply began walking towards the nearby trees. Leaping onto the closest branch he would quickly sit with his legs hanging below, slowly swinging back and forth. "If either of you feel like you need to bother me just yell and I might respond" he said as he slowly leaned back to lay on the thick branch, simply looking up into the canopy above.

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Finishing up with the last little bit of fires the surrounded the area of the first fire jutsu Kenshin had used Tank would look over toward Kemuri as he rather easily put out the fire that Kenshin started on the opposite side of the area they were in. Tank thought to himself also wondering why everything seemed to come a little bit slower to him than it did for the others he trained with. Not that it mattered very much to him, it only fueled his passion for wanting to catch up and surpass all of them. Begining to walk over toward Kemuri and Kenshin, Tank would reach them in a few seconds just in time to hear Kenshin explain why he started the new fire. However it wasn't much of an excuse at all it was more like a "Haha there's nothing you can do about it." Tank didn't really appreciate the joke that Kenshin thought he had pulled. Then Kenshin told them that they should test how much water they could produce after the training they had been doing the last hour or so. Tank looked over toward Kemuri to see if he was wanting to see who could produce the most water although Tank wasn't too confident he would win he still wanted to try. If Kemuri agreed then Tank would form the signs from earlier to perform the water jutsu he copied off of Kemuri. Channeling chakra into his stomach again he could feel his body building up pressure from the inside. Quickly spewing out the water he had produced there would be larger amount of water than there was the first time he performed the jutsu. The water would be aimed upward to spray out like a fountain reaching about 20 meters in the air before stalling out and begining to fall back down onto Tank soaking him even more than he already was from Kenshin's storm. Looking over at Kemuri Tank waited to see how much water Kemuri could produce.

Such a Coincidence (P, NK) - Page 4 Empty Re: Such a Coincidence (P, NK)

Sat Oct 18, 2014 6:17 pm
Kemuri watched the sky as it seemed to completely clear with an unexpected speed, still being in wonder at how Kenshin was capable of controlling the weather around them all with such ease. However, seeing how Tank looked over at him, it was quite obviously a competition he wanted. Kemuri was up for a challenge at the moment, although he was really up for challenges just about anytime someone were to invite him into one. Watching as Kenshin were to make his way to a nearby tree and jump to it's branch, he felt that Kenshin had grown bored of them although it was with good reason. They hadn't really done anything too interesting so far, aside from learning an entire new chakra element in less than half an hour, and of course had just produced their own water, something which plenty of ninja couldn't do for ridiculous spans of time. By now Kemuri thought it safe to say that all three of them were prodigies of the highest caliber, only making his already large ego even larger. Turning his attention to Tank, who had seemingly just challenged him into a show of who had more mastery of the new nature they had both learned, he would nod his head in approval as he saw the spout of water shoot from his mouth and into the sky, a rather long distance into it as well. "Nice, nice." He said as he began to focus chakra in his stomach, trying as best he could to make a rather large mass of water which would continuously spurt from his mouth. Closing his eyes to focus even greater on the task at hand, he visualized his chakra network, the chakra flowing normally as it does when not in use, then seeing it as a great portion of that network beginning to flood into his stomach and take on the form of water. This worked in the manner of him being able to create a larger amount of water than he had done previously, whether it were from his experience in using it already, or the actual envisioning, he wasn't quite sure. Regardless, he began to make a little too much at once, as he hadn't even begun to shoot it out of him, the water rising from his stomach and pouring out his mouth with a cough. He rather quickly begun to do a few seals in which he believed were more related with the water chakra nature, three of them to be exact: tiger, snake, and rat. Now fully opening his mouth, the water would begin to shoot out a rather fast speed, striking the ground with some force before it began to spread around him in a half circle. The water in the half circle rose to about his own height before it stopped raising, the water seeming to be more concentrated than what he was doing before, giving it a considerably stronger and more durable form. This surprised even Kemuri, as it was completely unexpected. He was simply trying to get the water out of him before it made it look like he had completely screwed up and vomited all over the place. The water still in place for the time being, Kemuri closed his mouth, the water stopping and took his hands from the position they were in, placing one at the free standing wall of water he had just made, being incapable of actually getting through it. "How very strange." He said, stepping away from the wall and walking to the other side of it, the side in which both Tank and Kenshin would be seeing it from before it fell to the ground. "I must say, I'm rather proud of that one." He stated whilst turning towards Tank and Kenshin. Looking back at Tank, he would promptly raise one of his hands in a thumbs up towards him. "I guess you win that challenge though. You clearly made more water than I."
