would look upon the two as they competed with each other, Tank starting out rather impressively, likely something Kemuri would have a hard time beating considering the sheer volume of water Tank produced. It was then that Kemuri himself would spew out a rather impressive amount of water as well, though something seemed much different than Tank's own technique. Seeing Kemuri step out from behind it Kenshin would quickly reach into his pouch and with a quick flick of his arm he sent a shuriken spiraling towards the wall of water only for it to be stopped as if had hit a physical barrier and jut upwards before it fell back down to the ground into a rather sizable patch of mud. Clapping at both of their displays he seemed to be smiling as if he was impressed with them both having such a great control of water in such a short amount of time. Sitting upon his tree branch he would wonder exactly how both of them were actually able of performing such impressive feats so early on. "You two are definitely something else, far better than most of the genin I see these days, both of you have a tremendous amount of raw talent that's for sure". Slowly swinging his legs back and forth he would try and decide if he would teach the two of them something or if he would simply leave them to their own devices. Deciding that experience was a far better teacher he would simply lay back down on the branch and wait for them to either call for his help or grab his attention in some way.

Watching Kemuri as he began his attempt at beating Tank's own display of water prowess. Kemuri seemed to be focusing and channeling his chakra in an attempt to best him which Tank was rather certain that Kemuri could. However something seemed to go wrong for just a second as Kemuri spat up some water before performing his hand signs for the jutsu he was about to perform. Tank watched on as Kemeruri began to spit out the water jutsu, but his looked very different from Tank's. The water began to build up like a wall to about the same hieght as Kemuri himself. The water standing on its own seemed to defy logic although Tank knew it was Kemuri's chakra keping the water standing it still looked rather odd to him. While watching Kemuri walk up to the wall and poke it he noticed that wall of water also seemed to be completely solid. What happened next would solidy that even more, as a shuriken would fly in from Kenshin's direction and strike the wall. Being completely blocked and tossed into the air before landing in the mud below it seemed that Kenshin was rather curious in the technique aswell. Standing still and watching the wall begin to collapse he could see Kemuri turn toward him and give him a thumbs up gesture and say that Tank had won the competition. Tank then said "No, you definitely won that one. I may have made more water, but your jutsu was much more useful than mine." Slowly walking toward Kemuri and stopping about a meter or two away from him Tank would here Kenshin speak to them giving them compliments on their rather quick progression. Smiling a bit Tank would then say to Kemuri "So what should we do now?"

Upon the shuriken striking the water wall, Kemuri would watch it glance off into the air, quite impressed with himself when even the shuriken from kenshin were to not get through. Turning away from the wall as it fell to the ground, making a much larger puddle where it was, Kemuri walked towards Tank. Listening to Kenshin speak only further enlarged his ego, as he was pretty susceptible to this happening. Regardless of how large his ego was, he still viewed both Tank and Kenshin as very capable ninja, Tank being roughly on par with him and Kenshin still being quite a bit more powerful. Making his way over to Tank, he would stop a few feet from him, looking him in the eye as he spoke. "I imagine we should continue training. I think I'll take another shot at earth spear before I try out that wall of water again. That was actually completely by accident as well." Kemuri said to Tank before immediately getting to work on what he said. Turning off to the side of Tank, he would raise his hand once more in front of his face, placing his other hand on his forearm so as to further increase the chakra flow into the arm he was trying to utilize the jutsu in. Staring at his hand, he began to focus the chakra into his arm, being sure to only use it on the outer extremities so as to not petrify his arm, as Kenshin had suggested him to do. Channeling most of the chakra in his network towards his arm to hopefully make it less difficult to perform the jutsu, he began to feel his skin seem to harden. Unsure if this were the result of the jutsu being nearly done correctly or if he were petrifying his arm like Kenshin warned him of, he continued to pour chakra into his arm, the skin getting harder and harder whilst also turning a darker shade of brown as time went on. Roughly thirty seconds of this passed before his arm was close to the same color as Kenshin's when he performed the jutsu, though his arm was hurting a little, which was never a good sign. Quickly releasing the chakra he had built up in his arm, the skin would go back to it's original fleshy texture and the same color as it was before trying to attempt it. "Ow." He said as he rubbed his arm a little, lowering it to his side before taking a seat on the grass beneath him, even though it was wet from the water jutsu and rain. Of course, he was also practically soaked by then, so it didn't really affect his clothing. Looking down at his arm again, he once again attempted the jutsu, this time without his other arm to help flow chakra into it. It occured much faster than before, the skin turning a dark brown in just a few seconds, and his arm getting considerably harder, roughly to that of a stone's, though it was probably a little more, given the circumstances of his own health with the added durability of the jutsu.

Still laying back on the branch Kenshin would simply stare up at the canopy above as he thought back to all the people he had met up until this point. Realizing how these people had helped pull him out of his hatred he smiled, the first of them being Kenzo who invited him into his own home and treated him like his own sibling. Another being a young man named Tank, the one who was currently only a few dozen meters away had showed Kenshin his determination and willingness to learn from him and battle him, forming what Kenshin thought was a bit of a one sided rivalry. Then there was Ryusei, a young man who just like Tank had formed somewhat of a rivalry with Kenshin and showed him respect and kindness, and finally Kemuri who had simply gave him a challenge as he was the only one out of the four to actually strike him and do serious damage. It was these people who had brought Kenshin's mind out of the darkness and attempted to give him their attention and kindness. It was never Kenshin's intention after his fathers death to meet others, especially not teach them what he knew but instead to gain power at any cost but perhaps this is why his father had kept him out of clan affairs, so hat he could grow and form bonds with those around him. Smiling lightly as he heard Kemuri and Tank speaking to each other he would slowly lean forward to watch the two of them as they attempted to gain strength. Perhaps Kenshin would simply forget about his attempts at revenge and instead live his life like any other shinobi of konoha, perhaps a life of hatred was simply not for him and instead it was a life of friendship and trust that he required at this time.

Noticing Kemuri walking toward him after the wall of water had dropped down into a rather large puddle. Tank listened to Kemuri as he explained that the jutsu had actually been on accident, which to Tank made it all the more impressive. As Kemuri spoke of continuing to train Tank thought about what he should train. As much as he enjoyed learning the new jutsu and element he had already learned Tank felt the need to continue his taijutsu training. There was just something about hitting things that made him feel good and he was already sort of bored of learning jutsu for now. Seeing as Kemuri intended to continue the training on the earth spear technique from earlier Tank knew he had to go it alone for now on his taijutsu training. Walking away from Kemuri a decent distance before focusing chakra into his hands Tank would clap and place his hands on the ground raising a one meter by one meter square of earth exactly two meters high. This was to be Tank's training dummy for now. Standing nearly five meters from the dummy he had just created Tank would take a more agressive fighting stance than he normally did. Staring at the dummy Tank would soon burst forward at the dummy, still rather slow compared to Kemuri and Kenshin, but it was a rather drastic increase in speed compared to what they last saw he was capable of. Reaching the dummy fairly quickly Tank would perform a low sweeping kick on the dummy as if it were a person and he was trying to throw them off of their feet. As he made contact with the dummy at the base of it it would break apart a bit flinging a chunk of earth several meters away from where he was. Tank then stood up and and jumped backward toward where he was originally standing taking his fighting stance again. Bursting forward toward the dummy again Tank repeated the same action as before, performing a low sweeping kick and hitting the same spot as before breaking apart more earth from the dummy. Tank now began a cycle of repeating this same action over and over until he kicked out enough earth from the bottom of the dummy for it to crumble and fall over. Once the dummy finally broke down and crumbled Tank would jump back to his original postion again and recreate the dummy in the exact same place as it was before. Returning to his fighting position Tank now had a rather determined look in his eyes. "I'm not stopping until I can destroy this dummy in one shot." Tank said to himself. He then continued to perform the same action over and over. Destroying the dummy with low sweeping kicks and recreating the dummy until Tank achieved his goal of taking down the dummy with one swift shot.

Kemuri glanced over toward Tank as he were to walk away, creating a square block of earth. The purpose of this block eluded him until of course Tank began to attack it, seeming to become faster with his attacks. Not knowing any taijutsu techniques himself, Kemuri was quite confused as to how it was possible to boost one's own speed for a short period of time, just long enough to let off an attack. However, he ended up concluding that it was simply Tank's massive strength in comparison to his own that allowed him to do so, quite obviously being incorrect in the matter. Looking back down at his own hand which had nearly perfectly performed the earth spear technique just moments earlier, he stood once more, his mind wandering back to the technique he had done with the water around himself earlier. -I can't just keep resorting to my smoke during every battle I get into, I need to figure out how to get that to function better.- He thought, afterwards walking towards the spot where he had performed the jutsu just minutes ago. His feet in a puddle that went up to his ankles, Kemuri once again focused his chakra into his stomach area, visualizing his chakra network pouring the chakra into his abdomen once more. Unlike last time, however, he focused on condensing the water even further than he had before, hoping to make it in general more solid, the solidity obviously being what were to be preventing things from getting through, next to the chakra infused within it that is. With the majority of his chakra network pouring chakra into the direction of his stomach, he then began to kneed the chakra into water, which nearly had the same effect as it did before, causing him to cough it all up. Fortunately though, he was capable of condensing the water into a tighter ball in his stomach, preventing it from overflowing out of his stomach, and thus his mouth. Performing the same three signs he did before, he once more launched the water out of his mouth and towards the ground with great force, the water he was standing in splashing up and away from the rising nearly completely solid mass of water. The water from Kemuri began to encircle him, almost getting completely around his body as it did so, the waters rising fairly quickly up to a height of roughly four meters, quite a large improvement from the previous use of the jutsu; or so Kemuri believed. With the true power of the jutsu being completely out of reach of him due to his lack of the last two seals required, the maximum he could get it to at the moment was what it was currently. The wall falling to the ground beneath him, Kemuri looked at it falling, rather impressed with what he were doing at the moment. Attempting the jutsu once more in an attempt to make it stronger, he focused the chakra in his stomach, performing the seals he had before, and shot it out of his mouth, creating a near identical wall of water comparatively to the last one. Surprised at this, Kemuri had a slight look of confusing upon his face. Why was it that he had improved the jutsu so much in just one attempt and then couldn't do anything to make it better?
Taking a seat in the puddle, Kemuri rose a hand to his chin, stroking it while he thought. The way he were focusing the chakra seemed correct, there didn't seem to be any special technique for shooting it out of one's mouth, and the wall was more solid than most stones he had encountered. While it was still very usable in combat, the jutsu just seemed incomplete to him, like it could be so much better than it was at the moment. Going back to his days of training in the academy as a student, he thought of the lectures he received on how it was that jutsu were performed. Obviously, one had to utilize their chakra in a way in which they could manipulate certain elements, but that definitely wasn't the problem. Kemuri continued to think on the subject for close to five minutes, remaining completely immobile as he thought. It wasn't until he went over another lecture he had to sit through that the answer came to him. A ninja needed to perform certain seals with their hands to perform a jutsu, the seals allowing the chakra to flow better and in different ways than would be possible without. Now having an idea of what he needed to do, Kemuri quickly shot up from his sitting position, immediately kneeding the chakra in his stomach into water and beginning to once more shoot it out of his mouth, performing the seals he did previously with the exception of an extra two, the new combo being tiger, snake, rat, snake, tiger. Seemingly out of nowhere, the water would shoot up upon hitting the ground, causing a sound similar to that of a very large waterfall, near instantly completely circling him, the height of the newly made wall reaching fifteen meters into the air incredibly quickly, small waves shooting out from the rather large puddle he were standing in when he performed the jutsu. The wall stood for roughly ten seconds, the waves continuing to shoot out all around the wall while Kemuri held his hand to his mouth, still shooting water from it until he closed his mouth and took the hand from it. The wall fell as he did so, causing a large wave to go out around him a few meters before falling, creating a much, much larger puddle around him. Standing in the center, he would look at the surrounding water, stupified by what he had just accomplished. "Holy shit..." he said "That was awesome!" Kemuri shouted in the first use of his voice for something other than a monotone expression.

Tank was making great progress on his low sweeping kick technique during the whoel time that he and Kemuri were training. Finally reaching his goal, Takn was able to break the earthen dummy in a single blow. His burst forward from his fighting stance even faster than he had before and swung his leg low and in a rotating motion at the base of the dummy. Making contact with the dummy a lous cracking noise could be heard around the training ground as the entire block of earth was thrown into the air and several meters away from him. As the block crashed into the ground it would break apart and disperse around the area it hand landed. Tank stood up and looked at what he had done with a rather large smile on his face. Then hearing a rather large commotion going on over where Kemuri was at he would turn and look at what was going on. To his amazement there would be a fifteen meter tall wall of water standing entirely around Kemuri. "Holy crap!" Tank couldn't help but exclaim. Watching as the water was then released and cascaded down like a waterfall flooding a rather large area around Kemuri. Simply watching as Kemuri showed a bit of emotion for the first time he has ever seen. Thinking to himself Tank them turned around and formed another earthen dummy with his moving earth core jutsu. This time however he wasn't going to be performing a sweeping low kick.
Taking his more agressive fighting stance again Tank would burts forward at the earthen dummy. Once he reached the dummy he would lean his upper body backward and extend his right leg up and over his head making contact with the dummy near the top of it. Showing off that he had become much more flexible in the last few weeks with his leg far above his head his foot would make contact with the dummy in a loud smashing sound. The dummy would shake a bit and crack where he had landed his foot. Not getting the desired effect Tank lowered his leg slowly and jumped back toward he intial standing point. Charging the dummy again Tank would again let his upper body fall backward and raise his right leg kicking the same spot as hard as possible. With the dummy again cracking loudly and this time it would crack at the base of the dummy showing that it being pushed upward and was capable ofg being launched into the air if struck hard enough. Tank lowering his leg slowly again would notice all of this and smirk a bit knowing that what he was trying for was possible for him to do. Now all he had to was continue practicing this attack until he was capable of launching the target into the air with a single blow. For the next few minutes this is the only thing that Tank would focus on. He repeated the exact same motion over an over memorizing every little movement that helped him maximize the effectiveness of the attack. Tank hadn't been noticing , but over the course of this repeated training he was also performing the attack faster and with more force each time he attempted it. He was actually moving faster and hitting harder than he was normally capable of doing.
Minutes later Tank was performing the attack again. Sweat was dripping downm his face and body, although it was hard to determine whether it was his sweat or the water that still coated most of the training grounds since Kenshin's rain storm. Bursting forward at a speed that is beyond what is normally capable for himself Tank would quickly reach the dummy. Again letting his upper body fall backward and kicking his right leg upward and striking the top of the earthen dummy. A loud cracking noise could be heard and then the dummy would break at the base. Launching the dummy high into the air, fifteen meters to be specific, Tank would be left with his leg nearly straight up in the air as the dummy flew upward and then dropped back to the ground. Letting his leg lower back down toward the ground Tank would return to a standing postion and walk back to his starting area. As he walked the dummy would land a few meters behind him with a loud craking noise and burst into peices creating a cloud of dirt behind Tank. Reaching the spot that he originally strated Tank would turn around and place his hands on the ground creating a new dummy in the old ones place. "I'm not even close to done today."

Sitting in the center of the flooded area of the field, Kemuri would look around, eventually turning his attention to Kenshin who was up in the tree and appearing as though he were taking a nap. Shaking his head, he would then take a look at what it was Tank were doing. After his quick comment it seemed that Tank went straight back to his training, raising another dummy and once again beginning to pummel it with increasingly fast and strong attacks. Very well aware that Tank was far beyond anything Kemuri could do, he thought of training his taijutsu. However, that thought was quickly expelled from his mind, as he knew he wouldn't be able to do much and that he should focus on improving what he was naturally skilled at, just as Tank were. Standing from his position in the flooded grass, he began to walk to a more distant area of the training ground, roughly the same distance from Tank and Kenshin, but in a more dry area, as Kemuri was beginning to get a little cold from being so wet for so long a period of time. Half lying down in the dry grass, Kemuri looked around the training grounds for some sort of inspiration in learning another jutsu. Unfortunately, nothing caught his eye, leaving him to just sit in the grass and dry out, still something that was rather pleasurable for the time being.

Staring at the new dummy he had just created Tank would take a second to glance over toward Kemuri to see what he was up to. It seemed to Tank that Kemuri had decided to take a break as he watched him walk over to a more dry area and lay down. Tank thought to himself Knowing he still had plenty of energy and motivation to push on Tank coiuldn't see a reason that he needed to rest anyway. Regaining his focus on the earthen dummy he had just created a few moments ago Tank would burst forward at the dummy at a fast pace for him, even though it wasn't very fast compared to Kemuri or Kenshin. Reaching the dummy rather quickly he would drop low to the ground and swing his leg out and around in a low sweeping kick like he had been practicing earlier. The dummy broke at the base and began launching up and forward away from him. Not ready to let the dummy get away just yet Tank now pushed his crouched body upward. His upper body would fall backward and his right leg would thrust upward from underneath the dummy striking it right in the middle of its two meter length that was now parrallel to the ground. As his foot made contact with the dummy it would fly up into the air higher than it had in any of his attempts before. Returning to a standing postion by leting hi right leg lower down to the ground Tank would watch as the dummy flew higher and higher into the air until it reached a little over thirty meters before gravity started doing its work. Tank would step backward several meers as he saw the dummy was falling straight back down toward and didn't want to get crushed and die by his own training dummy. The dummy crashed into the ground with much more force than any of the others had previously done and shattered apart scattering across the field leaving littl clumps of dirt everywhere.
Noticing this as the clumps flew across the training ground Tank began looking around. The training ground was a mess. Much of the area awas scorched by Kenshin's previous fire jutsu he had used. There was also the fact that nearly the entire area around where they had been training was flooded making it a sloppy mess. And Tank himself had displaced a rather large amount of dirt and rock across the field giving a soggy and lumpy look. Standing there in the middle of all the damage they had doen to the grounds in a rather short amount of time Tank would say to himself "Man, somebody is not going to enjoy cleaning all of this up." Now turning toward where he had last seen Kenshin heading to Tank would try and see if Kenshin was paying attention at all. Noticing that Kenshin looked practically knocked out on the tree branch he would turn back toward Kemuri to looka nd see if he was going to get back up and continue any time soon. If neither one of them made a move to show him they were paying attention or going to do anything them Tank would create another earthen dummy and continue his training. Maybe even try out a new idea he had thought of as he watched the previous dummy soar through the air. If one or both of them decided to do something that would draw Tank's interest then he would keep that idea in his head for another time.
