Two lights in darkness(Kasai/Makussu)

The Demon was again on the plains waiting for the two to meet him at the same location they had first fought. Today would be the day of rebirth through blood and tears. One ninja would fall and the other would live to continue down the darkness. This was to be their punishment for their lack of general skill, they had no one but their selves to blame and now the price must be paid. What better way to have it be payed than by having two friends fight to the bitter end with only one of them coming out alive. Once they arrived the Demon would begin talking to them to lay the ground rules.

"Ok, here we are, this is the last test both of you will be going through together. Today I will have you both fight each other with full intent to kill. If I don't feel as if you are doing your best then I will kill you both. If you try to run I will kill you both. If one of you surrender to the other I will kill you both. If you don't understand what I'm saying is, if neither of you kill the other I will kill you both myself."

At this time his eternal sharingan would roll into view on his eyes while he gathered the senju chakra again to his body before dispersing it into the ground. While they were killing each other he would focus on trying to grasp this other power if it did exist beyond the sharingan. Activating strength of the earth he would place both his hands on the boys shoulders increasing their strength and health drastically.

"I've just increased your physical abilities for a good amount of time. I hope you use it wisely. Also I did it because it wouldn't be much fun if you both died from one attack. I want to see the desperation in your eyes as the blood flies. Well begin."

The Demon would move out of the way and go to sit on the grass in the distance about two meters away he would watch the entire fight with his perfect eyes all the while training more on getting this senju chakra under control.

Makussu had been peacefully snoring in one of the thicker semi-high branches of the trees surrounding the clearing. Why you ask? Well, he had been running low and ryo so he had slept outside to save money. Perhaps this wasn't the best idea, as he literally rolled out of the tree and into the ground, smacking into it with a loud thump. So he pulled a Peter Griffin knee grab for the next few hours or so, finally realizing that at some point Youka had entered the clearing along with Kasai in an as yet untyped way. When Youka had finally gotten his attention and started speaking though......ice shot through his veins. Well, it seems they were right about the good times lasting. Damn, why did this have to happen? He was supposed to save Kasai, not kill him. Was Youka bluffing or not? Why did he have so many questions he wouldn't be able to answer? It seemed that he would be stuck with quite the load of inquiries for a while. Of course, those thoughts were all but banished as Youka's eyes went YOLO I'm Satan red. What was that? Since when do regular men have eyes that go bloodshot at will. Then again, this was the ninja world, everything was possible. After all, half the time he was a material that you normally would write an essay on. Feeling the foreign chakra enter his system despite his half-hearted unwillingness, he felt the power flow through his body, strengthening it to heights he had never felt before. Well, that was something. The puppy dog sadness in his eyes would be evident as he turned towards Kasai for a life or death match. This barren clearing of ash and blood.....it was a fitting place to die. "I'm sorry Kasai....for everything. Forgive me." Suddenly the once dull eyes would sharpen as angelic wings would appear on his back and his legs "give out" from under him, meanwhile one spear and one shuriken would form, the spear flying towards Kasai at a speed and strength of 50 as a starter, meanwhile he would open up the ring's switchblade and yell out, "Summoning Jutsu!" as Aoi would appear in the ashen clearing. "No time to explain Aoi, just fly." He would say as he mounted the bird, who would then take off without question into the air to get him some space from Kasai seeing as he was likely to substitute.

Kasai stood in the clearing, watching the demon as he spoke. Truly, he was a demon for deciding to play god just for the simple fact that he was stronger than they were. As Youka put the strength into the two of them, Kasai began to chuckle. 
Fire, fire,
He was not afraid to die. Not in this life. If his friend was to kill him in this battle, then he would die. However, he did not know how Makussu felt about it all. He seemed to have the intent to win, Kasai noticed as he began to use his jutsu.
Burning bright,
Kasai immediately ran to the right the very moment Makussu's legs changed. Seeing the spear in his hand, Kasai knew that, with his increased physical abilities, he would be able to outrun it, as he was only slightly slower than it without the strength Youka had given to them. He knew this would be a long fight, so he decided to save his chakra and use it conservatively. 
In the darkness of the night.
Running perpendicularly to the spear that had been thrown at him, Kasai heard as Makussu summoned one of the many birds he seemed to be friends with. Kasai would likely have done the same, however, he did not know exactly how to summon the massive Ruijin.
However, Kasai's chuckling had not stopped since the time that Youka had put the strength into him. In fact, it was only slowly growing louder and louder. Turning into a strange laugh, Kasai slowly raised his hands to chest as he ran in a circular motion around Makussu, keeping a safe distance to avoid any attacks. 
If uninterrupted to this point, Kasai would create the half-tiger seal, and release a fire stream towards Makussu. While he knew it would not hit, it would be far more wide spread than usual, as he ran in a circle around Makussu while doing so, sending flames at multiple sides.

The Demon at this time was watching the spectacle that was playing out in front of him. While Makussu was taking to the offensive right away it seemed that Kasai was more hesitant only moving around and staying defensive in posture. He would have to change that tune very fast if he wanted to live. It seemed that the boy had forgotten what the Demon had said so quickly about killing them if they did not go all out from the beginning. Standing up still with his sharigan activated he began cracking his knuckles and walking closer towards the two. He stayed a meter away out of the way of the fire but still watching the battle with a scowl on his face. Both of them now would have to die if nothing changed in the next few moments.

"Kasai you are about to cost both of you their life. I hope you can live with that burden in the next life. I think after I kill you both I will go back to Konoha and murder both of your families as well. I made one grave but it seems like it will hold both of your bodies because two separate graves is two good for your worthless bodies."

The Demon pointed to the sideof him where a semi shallow hole had been made. Feeling the wood technique still running through his body and coursing through the ground into the other ninja as well he continued to focus on using them both at the same time. He felt the same tingling sensation in his body except it was moving upwards now. What the hell was happening?

Well apparently Youka had created a wooden stick up his ass, not that Makussu would know about the wood release that ran through Youka's body. As the flames went forward towards Makussu and Aoi they took off into the air to escape harm, meanwhile it seems that Youka wanted to go into a rant about how he'd kill their family and how they were utter shit, yadda yadda yadda. "Hey Youka, it's hard to have a fight to the death when you're fighting on a vocal and physical level you know!" He would yell as he ascended into the air meanwhile having the spear come back to him through the great thing that was chakra remote control. Seriously, he should figure out how to apply it to his other techniques. With his spear now in hand, he would throw both spear and shuriken this time, along with a "Wind Style: Gale Palm!," for good measure which would cause the spear to have a speed and strength of 70 meanwhile the shuriken would have a speed of 50 and a strength of 45. If it hit he would have Aoi swoop in for a thunk with a foot to the face and if he didn't....well he would just ascend into the air for more distance. He had a plan in mind as a last resort, but he really didn't want to use it. Sure he could stab his friend, Youka could heal those wounds, but could he handle a fall from who knows what heights?

Kasai almost stopped right there, and broke his own neck to kill himself. Oh, yes, the demon will kill them. Oh, yes, they were useless. This, that, and the other thing. Life it seems would be easier if he just killed himself already. Maybe he would. He still had most of the fight to decide, and with the mood he was currently in, it was up there among the top options. He would defiantly be considering it for this day.
Deciding that, perhaps not right now, maybe he will pay attention to the battle around him.
Watching as Makussu soared above the flames, Kasai knew another attack was coming. 
Flying his hands into the hand signs needed, Kasai prepared for a substitution.
Seeing the spear return to its owners hands again, Kasai ran in the circular figure just a bit longer. 
Watching as he adds the great breakthrough to the spear, Kasai was ready. Right upon the moment of impact, Kasai's substitution would kick in, and he would end up in a poof of smoke exactly underneath Makussu. Upon the moment of impact, he would already begin to form the hand sign for his newest jutsu. 
The very second he appeared under Makussu, Kasai would launch the fire dragon directly upwards, shooting it into the sky directly at Makussu 30 meters into the sky, at a speed and power of 50. 
(295 - 5 substitution = 290 - 30 great dragon fire = 260 ap)

Even if Makussu won he would more than likely have his tongue removed for the rest of his life. Even in the face of the Demon he was still quick to fire of quips and sharp remarks about how the Demon was doing entirely way too much talking. The bot didn't enjoy life at the least it seemed and the Demon would make sure he got paid back for the way he worded himself. The more the Demon felt all the senju chakra rush from him to the ground in conjunction with using the sharingan the more he felt the tingling sensation running upwards past his chest into his throat causing it to slightly burn.

Whatever was happening was going at an alarmingly fast rate. Maybe the Jester was right when they had talked and his search for all the power in the world would be the end of him. It was starting to feel that way and he didn't know what was going to be the outcome of finishing this. Watching Kasai shoot the fire dragon upwards it looked like the boy was getting more serious now. his was indeed going to turn out to be a very good fight. Turning back around he would go back to his position out of the way of the flames that were growing and lean on the tree again watching their battle continue. He hoped that this thing lasted a very long time.

Well, it seemed everything had been going well, at least until Kasai started firing off the fire. Thankfully Aoi had already begun to move as he had performed the hand seals, so they had gotten off with a slight squawk of alarm as the fire singed Aoi's tail feathers but nothing worse. Apparently he'd really need to be more careful around Kasai. His spear would return to him again and two more shuriken would form and he would throw them all except one because thats the way to go while Aoi soared higher in an effort to stay away from the fiery dragon heads of doom. The spear would go forward at a speed and strength of 70 and the shuriken at a strength of 65 and speed of 70 as he had totally not recently discovered the power up rules along with a rather helpful "Wind Style: Gale Palm!," to power it up. Oh yes, it was repetitive as hell but that's what you do with Kasai, whittle him down until he can't do anything anymore.

Kasai watched as Makussu and his bird narrowly avoided the fiery inferno, which had yet to scorch the grass. Perhaps he would do that again, set the whole field ablaze. However, he knew he would not. Not while he was the only one on the ground. It would only make this fight harder on himself.No, for now, he would continue to launch these columns of fire at his friend.
He was ready again with the substitution jutsu, watching Makussu throw yet another spear and shuriken, followed by yet another wind style to speed them up. He only would have one more substitution after this, but if Makussu used his combo again, he knew it would drain his chakra largely. Kasai however, could continue blowing columns of fire at him for a while. 
Once again, activating the substitution jutsu right when the spear and shuriken would hit, they would impact with a log. Kasai wondered how many shuriken he had.
This time, again forming the hand signs as he disappeared and re-appeared, Kasai would appear in the direction Makussu had been heading, instead of directly below him, hopefully making this harder to dodge. 
Launching the burning pillar of a dragon diagonally this time at Makussu, it would again travel 30 meters right at him, with a speed and power of 50. Kasai knew that even a spark would set a piece of the paper on fire, and this column had many sparks.

It seemed that Kasai was learning how to anticipate in this battle as he was the one at a disadvantage not being able to continuously fly like Makussu could. If it came down to it the Demon would get rid of the cheap gimmick being used to prolong this fight. He had wanted a great fight and while this was entertaining it was a lttle bit too much of the catch and release for the Demons taste. Staring into the sky he ignored their antics for now letting the living energy around him flow in and out. The burning that was in his throat was still traveling further upwards to where he didn't know. Looking again at the children he smiled at his handiwork with these kids about to kill each other. He couldn't wait to see how the other two kids handled their death battle.

Through his sharingan this fight was slow as dirt, everything was going so slow he couldn't believe how slow they were moving in his eyes. These eyes were a curse and a gift it seemed though, a curse because they caused him to seek more power and more knowledge and a gift because they gave him the ability to do so when he needed it to be done. The ability he had given them would be ending soon and he frowned as they had wasted such a great gift by being in the air the entire time where the ability was useless. They honestly should have felt the gift leave them once they got airborne but sadly they were not as intuitive as he would have liked.

"I wonder what this feeling is in my mouth I feel like my head is going to explode as well. I don't understand. I'll keep pushing myself in this endeavor however though no matter the pain that comes with it. Even if this kills me, I'll know I died going after everything that this body was capable of doing. Knowledge was all he craved and he would gain it in anyway possible. These eyes are just another tool used to gain knowledge."

The Demon talked to no one in particular it was mainly a conversation to himself on what he was feeling while these two ran around doing whatever it was they did.He wondered who would get the killing blow first, they both had multiple chances where it could have been done. Either they were testing his patience on what he had said about killing them or they were honestly missing their chances by a lot to kill each other.
