The Journey to Shimagakure! part 1
Wed Jan 21, 2015 12:44 am
Mitako thought he did enough to help with the evacuation of his home village. The bags under his eyes were now large purple circles, the one tail had started to take an even greater toll on his sanity and sleeping hours. Even so, he thought of a plan of travel, deciding it best to stop at Konohagakure no Sato on his journey to Shimagakure no Sato to rest and recover. (Also, because I want him to! Muahahahaha!) Carrying the painting he "borrowed" from one of the shop keeps, he would head south from the village. Moving as fast as he could while holding the painting, he would take off through the short plains that touched the forest to the south. Upon reaching the forest, he thought that going through the trees was the best route to avoid immediate detection. He couldn't really hide his presence, as the one tailed Shukaku gave off a large chakra signature. Hopefully, if anyone were to detect him, it would be one of his friends, or another citizen of Tengakure no Sato. Not a Bijuu thirsty criminal or other reprobate. Speaking of the one tail, he was starting to get restless. Supress in the beast as much as he could, he would continue on. He had to be careful as to not ruin he painting, which slowed him down a bit. He would carefully leap and run his way through the trees, stopping once he saw a sight known as The Valley of the End. The statues that he looked down upon reminded him of the painting, which depicted a shaggy black haired man doing the seal of reconciliation with a spiky yellow haired male individual. He knew the story behind the painting, the tale of the great shinobi, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. He took the painting out of its frame and rolled it up, deciding this would be much easier to carry. He jogged around the side of the large lake before taking off into the forest due south, his destination: Konohagakure. He noticed a slight change in scenery the closer he got to Konohagakure. The glowing flowers he was accustomed to had began to turn into regular roses and bushes, the trees seemed to be healthier and the forest was teeming with wildlife. Unlike the semi urban environment of Tengakure, this place seemed mostly natural. It held a sense of peace far greater than what he was accustomed to in Tenga.
There was no mistaking it, he was inching closer and closer. He decided to confront his bijuu with a conversation. Speaking mentally, he exclaimed, "Hey tubby, you like it here?" The Bijuu replied with a quick "Fuck you... yes." It seemed as if he was finally making some sort of head way with the beast, as it stopped struggling as he saw the village. This place was gonna be good for a quick stay. He took off his Tengakure headband, and stuck it in his pocket as to not draw too much attention to himself. Though, he was still a distance away from the village, he would wait til night before entering.
