Well, since Mitako's armless ass was unconscious, he didn't really have much to say at the moment. But at least he was being taken to the hospital, so that was cool. Given enough time to recover and continue his studies, he might be able to write at the same level as most eighth graders, a skill that has eluded him for most of his life. Well... At least that summon-able V2 cloak would be cool. Or something like that. I'm gonna quit typing.

Hysterio silently waited as Xyxer made clones to carry off the others, in all their bits, pieces, and items, hopefully off to the hospital, though if he intended otherwise for their weakness Hysterio was not going to judge, considering he had just roughed them up too. He chewed over the boss’s words for a bit, his body still kneeling on the ground. Hysterio tried to chose his words carefully but of course speaking had never been one of his strong points. While he could practice the Yuumei Chakra Blade thingy he decided against it since the boss might take it as a sign of aggression and that could easily turn nasty. “The twins tried to fight and gave up multiple times. I decided to test their will to live. We will see how they did later I suppose. Mitako showed far more determination, and a great power that he cannot control. They did not display a lot of planning capability, though Mitako watching out for his team-mates was nice. Strength wise, the twins would hardly survive on the battle field. Mitako might, depending on how weak the enemy is. Considering the setting, and that the twins were far too weak to deserve the rank of Chuunin, I felt that there would be no point in holding back, after a while.”

Hysterio paused for a moment and then continued speaking. “Chuunin are team leaders, especially in times of war. If they cannot take care of each other in situations like this, then they do not deserve the rank. If the leader is too weak then the team, and by extension the village will suffer, as everyone will rely on the team to complete the mission. The chance of success drops if the team does not work together, or is simply too weak. As such, a single shinobi capable of holding the responsibility granted, is worth more than several who cannot.”

His tone was still a bit cold but tinged with respect, or so he hoped.

Xyxer listened to the words that the boy spoke, nodding a few times along his speech. Once the boy was finished speaking, he spoke himself once more, "Arise, Hysterio, and come here. You'll now engage in a tradition of the village." Below Xyxer's feet were now a faint bloody spatter, the statue of Xyxer having been blocking most of the rain within the village from the spot he had specially chosen. Once the boy was to come, he'd pass the heavy blade of Tidebreaker towards him, before nodding down, "Slice the palm of your hand and allow the vitality of ambition to soak into the earth of Kirigakure, and from the blood of it's children, it will prosper."

It seemed he was not about to lose any limbs yet. Hysterio stood, all of his fairly meager height, and walked over. Kirigakure had some interesting traditions it seemed. He wanted to become a swordsman of the mist, but that would have to wait for now. Taking the blade from Xyxer, he was surprised at the weight. To think that the boss just walked so casually with this....

He stopped thinking and sliced his palm in a nice long gash that would take some time to heal at the hospital. The muscles would not be permanently damaged but there would be a nice amount of blood flowing now. "It is done. I vow to become strong enough to be a Swordsman of the Mist...."

The ambition in Hysterio appeared to be rising once more, he'd have to keep an eye or two on this fellow. Nodding his head, he'd take his blade back from the boy and dissipate it back into it's realm, silently watching the blood conjugate with the blood of Youta. This new form of ranking up seemed better to Xyxer, more.. primal. Basic. Atoning with the gods. "You are now a Chuunin of Kirigakure. I hope you'll prove yourself worthy of the role in the times to come." A small smile came upon his features, "Oh, and while Youta is busy, you'll be the acting squad leader of the three people you just assaulted." With that, he'd turn around and begin to walk away, waving one hand idly, calling from the distance, "Toodle-oo!"

He had done it, Xyxer approved. Yes! Hysterio only needed to become more evil now so that he could torture people like his predecessor was thought to do. Maybe not the guyliner though. It would clash with Hysterio’s glasses and those were part of his identity.

Handing back the unnamed blade, he watched the boss walk off, cheerfully telling Hysterio that he was not the squad leader for Mitako and the twins… what were their names, Sagri, Neka? Gosh, he could not remember but if that was the case he would need to go visit the hospital.

He practiced the Yuumei Chakra blade technique one more time, extending it to cover his hand. He took a swing with it, and cut through a small tree with it. Good, looks like it was working swimmingly.

He walked off towards the hospital, the euphoria of having become a chunin after a lot of studying of physics problems, starting to fade as he realized what he had done to acquire it. Hopefully they made a full recovery or it would be hard to do missions while literally carrying all of them.
