Finding a New Home {IO}

Shinichi listened to Stein and then watched him get off and wander into the forest. Shinichi then slowly followed Stein into the forest wondering what he was going to teach him. Maybe something to further his knowledge in Medical Ninjutsu or possibly a simple jutsu that will help him in battle. There were many possibilities and Shinichi was open to them all.

Here there would be a few locked up creatures in some man made traps, snares and what not, nothing to gruesome, but enough to cause damage, Stein would turn around and sure enough the boy followed, good, Stein would nod slightly and extended his arms "Welcome to my Abode, or Office, if you may, Here I study the Medical field of Ninja's themselves, with these creatures as my test subjects, you see, I may not be a Ninja by qualifications of you or others, but I know your medical Arts probably better then most, and soon dabbling's will begin in my own Experiments of making my own technqiues, One I want to work on first is the making things feign death for a period of time, so that they can easily be discarded and forgotten but escape with ease and such, I think it would be useful, anyways, we will start with the basics" Stein would point to a little fox with some minor lacerations on it " I want you to heal that creature right there, Now I know you know the basics right? hand Signs make the chakra flow so you can do a technique properly, well this technique will require, Boar, Rat, Snake, in that order, then guide your hands over the cuts" and with that Stein would wait as he watched the kid

Shinichi would look at the fox and slowly make his way over to it, being a medical ninja Shinichi should have known a basic healing jutsu but he never really learned. He never had time to really, he was busy learning those jutsu to get his way through the Academy and such.

After Shinichi reached the fox, he gently laid the fox down and looked at its wounds and performed the hand seals at an average speed. His hands slightly lighting up green, he then realized he had not put enough chakra into the technique and decided to try again performing the hand seals again slightly faster. His hands glowing a light green color, simulating what seemed to be the mystical palms jutsu.

Shinichi lowered his hands down over the fox's wounds and slowly began healing them, being gentle. It seemed he needed to be gentle, Shinichi didn't want to hurt such a small and fragile creature. It deserved to live on and maybe that's why Stein told him to heal it, so that it may live on for however long it lasts.. After he finished healing the fox he lifted it up slowly and allowed it to run off out of the clearing into the forest.

Suddenly Shinichi asked Stein, "Is there any more techniques like that you can teach me or would you prefer to move onto a more offensive medical technique or perhaps a jutsu that isn't even within the medical field?" Shinichi really just wanted to learn another jutsu and continue to grow so that he could slowly become one step closer to taking back his village and restoring it.

[Basic Medical Ninjutsu (E-Rank) 250/250 (taught by Stein)]

Stein watched as the kid had to try twice to make the jutsu alone, before he healed the fox, stein took a quick inspection of it and then Shinichi let the fox go and Stein would Glare at him "WHO THE HELL TOLD YOU TO LET IT GO, I JUST TOLD YOU TO HEAL IT! Gawh im just gonna have to recapture it later, anyways, next one, DO NOT LET IT GO, just heal it, it has a broken leg, Same technique as before, but more chakra then last time" Stein would tell the kid as he waited for him to heal the leg on the next creature.

This next one as a Doe, it had been captured after a trap broke one of its legs, this was a perfect practice tool for the second stage of the Medical basics, and Stein would cross his arms, wondering how he is going to catch another fox seeing as this Shinichi kid let his go.

Shinichi looked at Stein as he yelled and said, "I'm really sorry, I didn't know.." Then he made his way over to the Doe and looked at its leg. It seemed fairly alright on the outside but would probably need more work done on the inside of it and such. Shinichi then performed the hand seals at the rate he did most recently and focused his chakra into the technique but seemed to fail in strengthening it.

Shinichi then re-preformed the handseals and focused more chakra into the technique allowing him to move the bone slowly back to its proper position so that he would be able to reconnect it. This would be his step closer to learning a more advanced technique which he enjoyed doing quite a bit. After he got the bone into its proper place he started to repair the break which would take quit a bit of time considering the fact that the jutsu wasn't completely all that strong and wasn't really anything compared to the Mystical palms jutsu or even his clan's jutsus.

While waiting Shinichi asked, "So, how long did it take for you to collect all of these animals to practice the medical ninjutsu you're learning on?" and then sat there silently continuing his technique and not expecting a response from Stein while he was doing so.

Suddenly, Shinichi started to feel the break reconnecting slowly. He excitedly grinned and kept healing knowing that he would be done with this all soon. Then maybe he could get onto some other types of techniques and such. Possibly the poison mist technique or maybe even the chakra scalpel technique that could be used during battle or during a surgery. The possibilities were open since he didn't know what Stein was really capable of.

Suddenly clearing his mind Shinichi felt the break fully reconnect but kept healing for an extra 2 minutes to make sure that the bone was fully repaired and was ready to be used if Stein decided to let this once go eventually, which he probably wouldn't. Knowing the big deal Stein made over the fox, he'd probably kill Shinichi for releasing the Doe since it was probably way harder to catch than it was to catch the fox.

Shinichi then got up and left the Doe on the ground trying to get up. Then he suddenly asked, "So what now, Stein?"

Stein listened and waved the kid off for him to do what he had to, and he waited and watched, again the kid failed the technique the first go round, and it took him quite some time to heal the leg, but meanwhile, he was asked a question and he answered it "Well it took me about a month to collect them all up, once you study their habits they are easy to get, which by the way you will be learning the habits of a fox, cause you will be paying me back for the fox you let get away".

Stein would watched as the kid finished with the doe, and he would walked over to the doe and make sure it was tied up tight to the tree, he then looked at the kid and gave it thought, Stein brought the animal that was dying slowly and sadly painfully and Stein looked up at the kid "This will be next, its called the Chakra Anesthetic, Hare Ox Monkey, those are your hand signs, it will ease the pain for it to pass peacefully" Stein would wait to see how well the kid would do

Shinichi picked up the small animal that was close to death and prepared to make its death painless which would be good for the little guy. How it was a shame that a creature would have to die so cruelly but oh well, Shinichi couldn't really help it other than to use the Chakra Anesthetic jutsu.

Shinichi performed the handseals slowly and saw nothing occur which was strange for that to happen because his clan was attributed to performing medical techniques. He then performed the handseals again and got a bit of a result seeing light blue flames light up on his finger-tips although they were quite dull so Shinichi decided to try one more time so that he didn't have to get Stein to tell him how to perform the technique. Gathering his chakra to his finger tips Shinichi performed the handseals and saw bright blue flames appear on the tips of his fingers.

Now he had it, he was about to put this poor creature out of its misery. Suddenly Shinchi shoved his fingers in the animals chest and released the chakra into the animal numbing any pain that the animal was in. Shinichi took his fingers out of the animal and stayed there until he died making sure that he didn't need any further attention. It'd be nice if he could've saved it instead but Shinichi probably wasn't strong enough to do so, he was still quite weak.

Then suddenly he saw another animal in pain and it gave Shinichi an opportunity to use the 2 jutsu he had just learned in a combination to save the animal. Suddenly Shinichi made his way over to it making sure it was tied down and started off by performing the handseals for the Chakra Anesthetic and put his fingers inside of the animals chest numbing any pain he was in. Then Shinichi would perform the handseals for the Basic Healing jutsu (C-Rank) and would start to heal him.

This wouldn't only work out for Stein but it'd also work out for Shinichi, he was able to practice his jutsu a bit more and save one of Stein's animals so that he may test on it further. Then he realized that maybe Stein wanted the animal to be like that and looked back at him, wondering if he did want the animal to be like that. Welp, it was too late if he wanted the animal to be like that because it seemed that Shinichi had fully healed it and that he was successful.

Shinichi then got up and asked Stein, "So what's next for me to learn?" Hoping that maybe it was a Chakra absorption technique or maybe even poison mist. He excitedly smiled while looking at Stein, it seemed that Shinichi was having a lot of fun learning these technique. Since he had nobody to teach them to him when he was back at home because everyone seemed to be busy.

[ 500/500 Chakra Anesthetic (taught by Stein)]

Stein watched as the male took the small critter and set it down, and watched, this time this kid took like three tries, to get the jutsu down pact and Stein let out a sigh, the next few were going to need to be shown to the kid for him to get it a little easier he guess, and explaining a little more might be helpful, then finally the technique got used and the creature passed away peacefully.

Then Shinichi went off to heal one of his other creatures, Stein had no issue with that, he can always redo something if he needed it done, as long as he didn't release the animals he was okay with it, so stein continued to watch till the kid was done and then he asked what was next once again, and so Stein thought of it for a moment.

Stein would point at one of the animal's , a bear that was muzzled and locked up, and Stein would walk over to it hopefully with Shinichi not far behind and Stein would begin to explain " Next up will be the Chakra Absorption technique , there is no Hand seals for this, what you have to do is make contact then focus on your fingertips and see the chakra from the bear flowing from it into you" and then Stein would show by placing his hand on the bear and gave a quick demo, then he would step back and let Shinichi give a try.

Stein would wait and watch, inspecting closely to make sure shinichi did it correctly.

Shinichi made his way over to the bear and sat down next to it looking it straight in the eyes. What a feared creature the bear was but now, all locked up and completely harmless. Shinichi then laid his hands on the bear and looked at him straight in the eyes. Shinichi though, "Guess it's time to steal me some chakra!" Shinichi focused on feeling the bears chakra and slowly started to try to draw it out.

He felt small amounts of chakra come out at a time as his hands glowed a faint blue color. Shinichi suddenly focused harder on the bears chakra now pulling it out at quite a rapid rate. He watched as the bear was slowly losing his energy and started to close its eyes. Seemingly it looked like it was about to collapse even before Shinichi would even be able to fully test the technique out.

Shinichi then strengthened the rate of which he was pulling out chakra and 1 minute later watched the bear collapse in the cage to to the loss of so much physical energy. Probably due to it not being able to move around and becoming unfit  to live out within the wild with other animals.

Shinichi stood up and asked Stein, "It seems he has collapsed, is there anything else I can finish learning this technique on or are you all out of animals? Perhaps we could even possibly spar and I could put the move into action?" He wasn't only asking to spar to test the technique but to also see what Stein was capable of doing in battle. Maybe Stein would even teach Shinichi some new offensive techniques while they were battling as well, that would be nice. It'd be a bit more practical and it'd be fun to learn the techniques in battle instead of testing them all on animals, which was kinda fun but was starting to get boring.

Stein watched as the kid went on with the Chakra Absorption, and he also kept an eye on the bear, when the bear looked like it was starting to get weak Stein would step in and push the kid away from the bear, making sure the bear did not lose as much Chakra as the kid thought.

Then when Shinichi asked about sparing with him he grinned a devilish grin, and he said " very well boy, prepare to be whipped into shape" and with that Stein would turn around and walk about five meters away before whipping back around and preparing his hands with his palms straight out, but his fingers curled in at the tops of his palms, a tiger martial arts stance, and he would postion his legs into what is called a horse stance, to make his stance solid, but also able to launch himself at any time, and he waited for the kid to come at him before he reacted with anything.
