The Training Just Keeps Comin'
Thu Jul 02, 2015 8:52 am
After his last practice with Ayame-sensei, he had gone to the library to read up on some other Wind Style jutsu that he could do. He looked at his sore arms and his bruised calves and immediately thought "Maybe I should do something easier..." The young Suna-nin had been training *extremely* hard these past few days. He'd mastered no less than 3 C-level and 1 D-level jutsus and had trained up his stats while at it. However, by doing so he'd neglected to take any missions, officially ran out of pickled apricots, and pushed his body to near exhaustion. Soyo happened upon a likely pair of jutsu, which seemed simple enough for his tired out body and useful enough to be worth learning. "Wind Release: Recurve Bow and Wind Release: Wind Arrow, huh? I'll give 'em a shot, I guess", Soyo chuckled at his own bad joke as he picked himself up off the library floor and headed to the training field.
"So, I guess I'm supposed to pressurize the air between my hands?" said Soyo as he stood out in the stretches of desert that had become something of a second home to him recently. He tried envisioning an arrow in detail, imagining the feather fletching and razor point, then he started to summon up the chakra needed to create such a thing. He took a look down at his hands and to his surprise, he had fashioned a 2 foot long ornately decorated arrow formed from pure chakra. "Hey, that was pretty easy!", Soyo yelled with a smile, "Let's see if I can make more." He once again envisioned an arrow, a feat which he found easy after the first time just now, but only multiplied. Lo and behold, there were 5 shafts the exact same as those of the original arrow nestled in his palm.
"So, I can make a whole bunch of these chakra arrow things, but I wonder what I can do with the arrows by themselves?", Soyo thought to himself, "I guess I could always try throwing 'em like senbon or something." Soyo looked toward the nearest training post, which by some stroke of coincidence happened to be the training post he reconstructed after slicing it into 4 pieces during his Wind Style: Slash training. He started out by simply throwing the arrows like he would a senbon at the training post. The arrows landed and dissipated afterwards, exactly as he had hoped. They left good sized indentations in the wood of the post, but they were still a little underpowered. He wondered what exactly he could do to add some power behind the throwing damage. All of a sudden, Soyo realized that he had learned just the jutsu for this kind of powering up just the other day with Ayame-sensei. "All I'm gonna have to do to boost up this jutsu is to use the Wind Release: Gale Palm jutsu right after I release my Wind Arrow jutsu!", the ninja said excitedly. He decided to attempt the combination of the two Wind Style jutsus. He created a few of the wind chakra arrows and threw them swiftly at the training post. He then weaved a hand sign and boosted the arrows with a Gale Palm. Sure enough, the arrows bit through the wooden post entirely this time
"Now for the fun part!" said Soyo, invigorated by his quick success. "Let's see about this here Wind Release: Recurve Bow jutsu." He let his arrows dissipate, trying to focus on being proficient with both jutsu independently before using both together. He gave himself a second to lie silently on the sand and then got up, brushed himself off and weaved the Bird hand sign. He tried using the same technique as before: imagining the actual weapon before applying the chakra. He though of a gracefully M-curved bow, with rich designs carved into the dark wood, ebony horn tips, and a taut bowstring. Once more, Kaze opened his eyes to find a chakra bow at the ready. After dry firing the bow to see if it would remain solid and getting a feel for the bow's draw force and tensile strength, Soyo summoned one of the arrows to try out the combined jutsus. He took a deep breath and aimed his new chakra weapons at one of those reliable Sunagakure training posts. He loosed shot after shot, and all hit the target then dissipated. "Nice!", said the Suna-nin after taking a good look at his handiwork. "I think I deserve a nice bath or something. I really should get to doing a mission. I could get MYSELF a tanto instead of begging Ayame-sensei for one again and again."

Okay so a few things here. Firstly, the two techs you're trying to learn are in v5 template. This can be taken care of easily enough as I can remake them in v6 for you. However, they are D and E rank techs meaning you need 1500 to learn them, 750 with your kkg. So yeah, I can work on v6-ing them while you do the added wc. <3
