Taini Hyuga forest training gentle fist (P)

Taini was surprised that Travis was able to avoid the follow up strikes of his attack for the past few weeks Taini had been training to use his gentle fist techniques progressively increasing his attacks at an opponent to target their chakra network blocking the flow of his opponent’s life energy and effectively disable them. Taini sat back and prepared himself for the attack that was sure to be coming after Travis had made his distance between them.
Taini just ignored Travis jab at the strength of his attacks remembering the training he had undergone about how not to focus on the strength of an attack but to focus on controlling his chakra into a point to penetrate the network of an attacker.
Taini set his stance into a powerful defensive position assuming the stance of the eight tri grams fighting style preparing to react at the slightest hint of an oncoming assault from his opponent.
The new appendages his opponent seemed to be producing looked particularly menacing and Taini took note of those blades and the potency of them. Taini realized that must be why his first tenketsu strike had not affected him fully those bones were going to be formidable. (WC – 205 )

Travis watched as Taini got into a stance travis hadn't seen this stance before and it made him curious. He watched Tainis every move, and tried to figure out what he was going to do next. Travis figured that he was going to try and hit him some more. Then he thought back on what they last attack the he did was. He basically touched travis in the back. Travis didn't even really feel it, and didn't think much of it at the time, but if the kid is going t keep doing it then their had to be a reason behind it. Travis couldn't think of what it was though. He didn't know enough about the huga clan to figure it out.

Travis figured that either way this went he would aim to win this fight. Travis looked the boy in the eyes the boy didn't have the look of a killer in his eyes. Travis had seen that look in his fathers eyes before, and this boy didn't have it. Travis would run at the boy speed 20 aiming to land a low kick to the back of Taini's right knee. Travis would be so low that he could be confused for laying down. If he was able to trip Taini he would slid around and aim to plant the bone on his elbow into Tainis shoulder. He had gotten to kinda like the kid, so he no longer wanted to kill the kid but he would beat the kid. If he landed all of his attacks he would get up and tell the kid that he wasn't half bad. If not he would get back in to his stance and continue.

Taini had his weight low in his stance and was watching as Travis’s body lurched in his direction in what appeared to be a slide of some sort. Through Taini’s eye’s Travis seemed to have chakra jutting just burning off of those spines that he produced like each one was just an extension of tenketsu network brimming with the energy but hardened enough to pierce like steel.
In the very quick time frame that it took Travis to launch his momentum into his forward charge Taini was devising a plan of counter attack to stop the slide using his gentle fist style sixty-four palm. Taini prepared his attack extended the chakra from his palm into the small form of what was effectively an acupuncture needle preparing for Travis’s coming assault.
Taini knew the forms behind his attack he had studied the tenketsu network vigorously without fail every day since his time had started at the compound training with members of his clan. He knew that the easiest cluster of chakra points to use this attack started with points around the opponents central meridian and it worked outward eventually attacking his opponents whole midsection. Each strike would block a chakra point causing a reduction in the enemy’s ability to use the unseen energy that every living creature needed to live. The most desirable outcome of an attack like this was to stop enough of the chakra points in an opponent to immobilize or potentially kill them from lack of energy. Focusing his thoughts Taini ran through the mantra he had been taught for years now “speed and precision can overcome any strength”. Pulling back to the task at hand Taini felt Travis’s presence within the perimeter of his eight trigrams.
Taini’s reaction time was impeccable because of his training eh pulled back and prepared to unleash his eight tri-grams sixty four palm assault + 20 speed on Travis as he closed the distance. As Taini extended his arm palm outward sending his attack towards its quarrel with all of his speed, precision and training behind it he realized that he could kill Travis if his attack succeed in making most of the hits. At the last moment as Travis slid closer Taini redirected his first strike away from Travis body just enough to miss him in time.
Unfortunately Travis’s attack did not miss its mark his well-placed kick landed on the back of Taini’s knee knocking him to a kneeling position and sending a jolt up his body with enough force cause a sound to escape him. With a groan Taini felt the tear of flesh in his shoulder as one of Travis’s spines pierced him the jolt came first and was closely followed by the immense pain of the attack. Now looking down he would notice that the spine was a bone that looked just lie a humans own calcium rich framing. Thinking this strange when the bone was removed another wave of intense searing pain swept Taini’s already limp body. At this point Taini knew he was falling from his kneeling position the pain had just overcome him. He was going unconscious his body fell to the earth bouncing with the impact of the short fall and the last thing he saw before the darkness took him was the needle sized hole in the ground and the imprint of his palm where he had redirected the attack. Fading into that deep dark that one only finds after pain or intense stress Taini’s last thought was that he had done everything correctly if he had landed the hit he could have continued the sixty four palm strikes until he had killed Travis. And with the utmost confidence Taini knew he had performed the Hyuga skill by himself and next time he used it he would not purposely miss his target. Travis watched as his attack was working, and he saw as Taini missed him with his own counter attack. At that point he couldn't tell if he missed on purpose or not, but he did know that he was going to win this fight because of it. After he took the boy to one knee he rolled around and delivered the elbow bone from his right elbow into Tainis shoulder. Travis had won this fight with that move. Apparently the kid had never been injured before as not long after travis pulled the bone out of his shoulder he passed out. Travis didn't not expect for him to pass out from such an attack, but he figured that the kid showed potential, and because of that he would not kill him and instead help him out.

Travis pulled the bones back into his body. It was kind of a slow process, but he would need to. However to any one that was watching it would seam as if they went back into his body kinda fast. Travis picked the boy up and threw him over his shoulder. He then walked over and picked up the boys back pack and held it in his left hand while the boy laid on his right shoulder. Travis would walk the boy back to the leaf. He figured that he would leave him just outside of the village walls. If he left him this far out he would more then likely get killed by some wild beast or other ninja that really don't care.

When travis made it the clearing outside the village were you can see the village walls over the tree he knew he wasn't but just a few meters from the village gates. He laid Taini down and put his back pack beside him. Travis would pull out a pen and paper and write a note to Taini.

Not bad Taini, you fought well and because of that I have returned you to your village. I have not taken anything of yours for you did not have much to begin with, but on they off chance that we meat again while your training in the woods. Pack a second sandwich or more pork ramen either one.

Travis would put the note in Tainis front pocket of his backpack. He figured that he would find it their. Travis then turned around to walk back home out in the woods. He could hear the birds chirping and the sun on his face, and the warm breeze that brushed up against him. You got to love being free to roam the outdoors he thought to himself as he made his way back to were he meat Taini. It was their that he wasn't very far from his house. In fact he lived just over the hill the was training behind.
