Criminal Scum (Open)

Salzem nodded silently as Kaneki said he could relate. The world could be a cruel and blind place. Everyone who wasn't painted a certain color was to be trampled under foot. Thank Hokage that didn't happen here... Oh, wait.... Salzem snickered, hearing the comment his new outside companion had made about the guards. Although they kept their faces neutral, one could practically feel the frustration of being unable to engage in the banter taking place.

"Hopefully, they won't kill me. I'll see you whenever I see you. Oh, here's your lunch box back." Salzem handed the box back to Kaneki, keeping the food he had for later. As soon as his friend left he sighed, leaned on the bars, and his eyes flicked up to the guard at his right.

"So... How was your week?"
