Arai cocked her head to the side when she heard what Mika had said. Hadn’t learned any new jutsu? Perhaps they can fix that. Arai separated her hands, stopping the buildup of chakra in her stomach. She walked over to her friend and clasped her shoulders with her hands. In truth, she didn’t know much more than she did! Training hadn’t been especially fruitful and her parents had been busy managing the leaders of her clan, trying to persuade them to stay. The new young Pack-Leader’s patience seemed to be at an end and seemed to want to push his wolven brethren out of Suna to absorb the rest of the other wolf clans into his rule. Arai didn’t know how she felt about this event. She hoped her parents could convince him to stay. The last thing they needed was to be alone and without sanctuary in violent times like these…
“Lets see we can’t teach you something then!” Arai announced. “Do you know what element you command? I might have a few scrolls in here to help you…” Arai said, trailing off, and shifting around in her pack for something to help her learn. She might find something after a few moments of searching if Mika knew her element. If not they’d just have to experiment.

Mika blushed slightly when she heard the comment her friend made. She hated being weak sometimes since nothing seemed to ever go her way. Even more so when she was trying to impress someone. When the girl asked if she knew her elemental affinity Mika blushed but nodded her head. "Fire" she said with a slight blush

"Fire, huh?" Arai responded absently before she pulled out a scroll that had the "fire" insignia imprinted on the face. Arai smiled at her success, opening the roll of parchment just enough to read the name and rank of the technique: Fire Style: Fire Stream. Arai turned to face Mika and was ready to hand her the scroll when she saw her friend was blushing with a slightly embarrassed look on her face. Arai cocked her head to the side, unsure what brought on this reaction. It wasn't like she did anything wrong. In fact, all Mika had been was kind and accommodating and a good sparring partner! The very least the wolf-girl could do was repay her with a technique.
"Why are you blushing?" Arai said, confusion obvious in her voice. Arai held out the scroll to her, eyes still locked on Mika's demanding an explanation. Wait... did Arai do something wrong? What did she do? The wolf-girl didn't know what was going on. It appeared as if some kind of silent conversation was passing inside Mika's mind. She seemed so drawn-inward...

Mika smiled slightly when the girl offered her the scroll and took it gratefully. When the the girl asked why she was blushing she only blushed harder but when she noticed that it seemed to be bothering the other girl she answered. "I am just really shy I am not used to having others help me and actually meaning to help me and not just make fun of me for being weak"She said smiling slightly.

Arai sighed and smiled in relief when Mika explained she was really just shy, however, she frowned when Mika continued, saying people usually helped her only to rub in her weakness. Arai walked over to Mika and patted her on the shoulder reassuringly.
“Don’t worry. I have no intention of any of that. By the way… what’s in that scroll I gave you? I saw the name, but I don’t know anything about it…” Of course, Arai was referring to the Fire Style: Fire Stream Scroll she had given her. Arai had only seen the very bare basics of fire jutsu in action at the academy with a few students spitting out embers or small flames. Nothing worthy of using in combat. However… if Mika was skilled in ninjutsu as Arai herself was, then learning this technique would be a great leap for her. Arai had always wanted to see a true fire style technique in action. She was taught in the academy that wind and fire styles typically enhanced one-another. Arai, knowing a few wind-styles herself, smiled internally at the havoc combination jutsus could inflict. She imagined large flaming wind arrow/bombs, forest fires of flames further fanned by the wind style. Of course, this was only childish speculation. Arai never wants to hurt anyone (her werewolf is another story) but she likes to fantasize and does so frequently. Regardless, Arai was highly anxious for Mika to begin looking at the scroll she’d given her.

Mika smiled slightly as she looked at the scroll that was handed to her. "Oh this is one of the best starter fire jutsu they have! So many of the fire jutsu that are well known build off of this jutsu" Mika exclaimed as she looked over the scroll. She eagerly looked over the scroll reading the instructions before turning to Arai "Thank you so much! I can't wait to try to learn it!" Mika said with a bright smile as she looked at the other girl.
