Genin Exams, Jack Hyuuga!
Sun Dec 20, 2015 9:37 pm
As Jack stood outside of the academy, he was certain he would pass. After all, he met all requirements and had above average chakra for his rank. He also knew about the jutsu and could perform them perfectly. So, here he was ready to go and pass the exams. He took one more deep breath, and walked through the academy doors.

The pen in her grasp fell with a soft click as the proctor's entire frame jolted from her seat, her fourth scare in the last hour. She had found the red rose on her desk that morning and against her better judgement, picked it up, only to realize that it wasn't red, merely sticky. The young woman had nearly fainted as the smell of fresh blood mingled with the scent of a white rose had permeated her senses and even now, the queasy feeling was everpresent.
Loking at her register, she noted that there was only one student attempting the genin exam today. Maybe she could take the rest of the day off after this candidate? Go home, take a sleeping pill and some tea.
Try and forget that there was a psycho out there who dipped roses in blood and used the same blood as his ink to send cryptic messages.
Her vision swam for a moment as she tried to keep the tears and the horror at bay. After a moment however, the redhead composed herself and called out in a semi steady vouce.
"Come in, please stand at the center of the room and perform the two primary jutsu you've learned. Take your time."

As Jack walked through doors to the ninja academy, he felt an emotion he could only remember experiencing once before. Nervousness, when his uncle first examined him as a potential pupil. Both of the occasions were similar, if he succeeded, he moved forward on his quest for power and ranking. If he failed however, his quest to climb through the ranks of shinobi would take exponentially longer than he needed it to take. When he did get into the room for the exam though, he saw the proctor and his nervousness evaporated as he thought rationally about his chances of passing. He was a fairly powerful ninja for an academy student, and he learned all of the required jutsu to pass and become a genin. He was almost certain he would pass, and very easily.

After changing his face into a more serious expression, he began explaining how transformation jutsu works. "With transformation jutsu, the user changes his own appearance to that of someone else, although the transformation cannot change your size to an inhuman height. It is also one of the more difficult E-ranked jutsu, since it requires a constant flow of chakra. This can put strain on less experienced ninja, So that when more pressure is put on the ninja, the jutsu tends to break.". After explaining, he did the signs with his hands, Dog-Boar-Ram, and performed the transformation jutsu, turning into an exact copy of the proctor, then broke the jutsu. That wasn't so bad, now was it? He would finish this and pass easily, moving on to genin and continuing his training to be greater than any ninja he knew, even Ita and Yen. Before that though, he had to show the next jutsu.

As he prepared to perform Clone Jutsu, he began explaining it. " The clone technique is one of the most basic jutsus, and is also one of the most useful E-Rank jutsu, due to its strategic uses. One of the greatest of these uses is making your opponent believe there are two ninjas, by creating a clone and using transformation jutsu to give the illusion of two seperate ninja attacking them. Although this jutsu is useful, it does have two great flaws. Because the clones are intangible, they create no shadows and are unable to affect material objects around them. Their most common use is to confuse your enemy into not knowing which one is used, using the cloud of smoke made at the beginning of the jutsu to rearrange the formation of the clones and the user." As he finished the sentence, he quickly made the signs, Ran-Snake-Tiger. A cloud of smoke would appear, and he quickly uses the signs for transformation jutsu, before the smoke cleared. Once all the smoke was gone, a clone of Jack would be standing next to Jack, who had transformed into the teacher, giving the appearance that two different ninjas were standing next to eachother.

Now he was finished with the required jutsu, but he would like to show how much he had learned, and he had learned much more than what was needed. "I would also like to demonstrate two extra jutsu that I learned from a friend of mine, The tree climbing and surface walking technique, and substitution jutsu. I know that this isn't part of the exam, but I would like to show them anyway." After finishing that, he began focusing chakra into his feet, and began climbing up the wall. He walked around for a short period of time before coming down. "The tree climbing technique is performed by focusing chakra into ones feet, using it as a sort of adhesive, to climb trees. On water, it is much more difficult than on a solid surface, as the waves of the water cause it to be a changing surface, while solids remain the same". Now for substitution jutsu, this should be an easy finishing touch. This should be easy, but if he messed it up, it would be extremely embarassing for him. He focused his chakra before getting ready to perform the signs, he had enough to do it easily. He performed the signs for the jutsu, Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog-Snake, and performed the substitution jutsu on a nearby desk. When the smoke had cleared, him and the desk had switched places, and he was moving to put it back. "So, that was all of the jutsu that I know, and I believe I meet all the requirements, and hope you pass me.". He wasn't lieing, he very much hoped he would be passed so he could learn more powerful jutsu, and start taking missions to get easy money. Although he was almost sure he would pass, he still had that small bit of nervousness deep in the pit of his stomach, telling him he would make it, telling him he wouldn't become a genin. He quickly extinguished those thoughts and assured himself he would pass the exams and continue to become the leader of a great group, whether it was a village or a clan, he would become a leader of a powerful group of shinobi, and destroy all who would oppose him. Right now though, he awaited a response from the proctor.

"Well done, young ninja," the redhead praised, managing to find a congratulatory smile for the candidate despite her current situation. "You are now a shinobi of the Leaf. Go forth and protect your village... make the people safe," she added, giving him the well deserved headband.
