Find The Herb [P, Kyson]

As Kyson had already woke up and brushed his teeth and took a shower. Already had all his equipment ready. He just had a real uneasy feeling within himself. He felt like something was wrong. As he looked outside, everyone just looked uneasy. But they weren't out of control, they just looked a bit worried. Kyson didn't really pay it much mind. Maybe he could find some answers or observe the situation as he went for a walk around the village. As Kyson was beginning to walk downstairs. He sensed Royalty's chakra coming towards the house at a very fast pace. This was a good time to ask him if there was anything going on in the village or if its just Kyson. As Kyson walked the downstairs and reached the last step. Kyson saw Royalty bust through the door and yell that the two of them need to go and that they have a task to do. Kyson was a bit worried because he never seen Roy like this. He seemed really uneasy and a bit distressed. 

"Alright, lets go. I guess you'll just tell me on the way what's going on." Kyson said as he ran towards Royalty. And was ready to follow him to where he was going.

Upon further inspection, it turned out Kyson was actually there. Perfect. The second he saw Kyson approach the corridor that he just burst through, he turned around to flee towards the gates. At first, he had not said anything to Kyson. This was a troublesome situation indeed. As Royalty had seen the exit through the gates, he spoke to Kyson to inform him of the situation.

"A virus broke out in the village. I was just at the hospital with Lord Kazekage and the other medical teams. Our jutsu don't seem to affect the virus. We have instructions to find a plant that is said to strengthen the immune system. I have a picture of the herb."

With this, Royalty reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. It had been rolled up. Without unraveling it, he would throw it towards Kyson. Should Kyson open the piece of paper, he would see a few blue flowers that all possessed 5 petals. It would look similar to:



After explaining the situation, Royalty felt the need to brief Kyson on the status of the infected village members. Some were in really bad shape.

"We do not have a lot of time. Our medical ninjutsu only holds off the effects of the virus. I'd say we have a few hours before casualties start to build up."

The tone in Royalty's voice seemed a bit worried. This was a task that was very important. If the two would not succeed in finding the herb then the deaths of many civilians will fall onto their hands. The Yuka Chuunin was not about to allow that to happen.

After Royalty came to the house and Kyson followed him where ever he went. They were running towards the village gates. Kyson assumed that there was trouble going on outside of the village and it was their job to stop it. Since Royalty wasn't telling Kyson what was happening right away, Kyson could only make assumptions as to what was going on. As they were approaching the exit through the gates. Royalty then began to speak. He said that a virus had broke out in the village and that Lord Kazekage and the medical teams were trying to find a cure. Really!? Kyson said to himself. The way Royalty seemed worried, this sickness must be serious. Kyson wonders how this could have happened, how did something this serious come into the village? He said there was a way to cure the ill by finding some kind of plant or herb. 

"Shit. This is bad." Kyson said with a serious look on his face. Royalty tossed Kyson the photo and he took a look at it. As Kyson looked at it, he painted the picture in his mind and made sure he never forgot how it looked. Royalty then began to speak again. He said they have to hurry up because the medical ninjutsu they have can only reduce the pain for a little. But it won't cure the illness. He said we had a few hours to find this flower or herb before things hot out of hand. 

"Alright, lets make this one quick. Hopefully we don't run into anything that can waste our time. If anything tries to stop us, take it down immediately. I know Lord Kazekage said no killing. But if that's the quickest or only option, it will have to be done for the villages sake." Kyson said to Royalty. In a situation like this, he does not have time for any distractions. He will get these herbs as fast as he can to save the village.

Hearing Kyson say what he had to say, Roy nodded at him. He was right. Suna had a strict policy against murder. They were a peaceful community. Killing just promoted more violence. When you learn how to handle other situations without the need for murder if when you are seen as a mature and level headed shinobi. But this situation seemed so different. Should an obstacle prove itself to be a hassle, they had to do whatever means necessary. For it meant a life or death situation between any of the civilians that had been hospitalized. Royalty clenched his right fist before turning towards the gates.

The guards had already been informed of their tasks. This was not the first time the young duo had to handle some business. Their philanthropy for Sunagakure had been admired by some and revered by others. Joining the Sand Village had made the area they lived in a better and safer place indeed. The path towards the desert was now open. Royalty ran through hoping Kyson would not be too far behind him.

Before Roy had met up with Kyson, he had been told that the herb was in a cave that was surrounded by a cluster of other caverns. This seemed more like a scavenger hunt. First, they would have to locate the herb and then take home enough for the medical team to extract what they needed. After so, they would be able to produce a cure that would allow people to fight off the infection. To his memory, Royalty immediately ran to the left. He knew a bunch of caves that were over in that direction. He spoke to Kyson briefly.

"There are a lot of caves this way. The herb has to be in one of them. Let us go."

Royalty usually would throw a joke in here or there but this was serious. He did not know if he could live with himself knowing that innocent people died of his accord. It was up to them again the make the people of Sunagakure happy and proud.

After Kyson told Royalty the situation about any obstacles that came in our way. Royalty nodded, as he agreed with what Kyson had told the. Kyson did not see how serious this illness is. And he didn't see how ill anyone infected were. But he will take Royalty's word for it and assume its a deadly virus that needs to be cured as quick as possible. As the two of them were heading towards the gates. They had already been informed of the situation and let the two young shinobi pass without a problem. The guards started to be less curious and questionable when they leave the village now. It seemed all the hard work Kyson and Royalty had been doing around the village had finally allowed them to earn their trust and respect. 

As the two boy's left through the Suna gates. Kyson was unaware where they were going but he just stayed behind Royalty. He would just follow him until he tells him where they could find this plant because he doubts he could find it in the dessert. This climate isn't capable of growing anything. So there must be a special place to find the herbs. Just before Kyson was about to ask, Royalty spoke. He said the herbs can be found in caves. Kyson had gotten his answer. So Kyson summoned four Earth clones without doing hand seals, to do a quick surveillance around the desert and see if they could search some caves. 

"Spread and search some caves. We need this done quick." Kyson said to his four clones. All four clones went into different directions scattered.

After Kyson had made the earth clones, he looked at all of them scatter off. Halting for a brief second, he continued forward. In the distance, Roy could see several caverns beyond the horizon. The sight was rather blurry as the heat waves could be seen scorching the terrain. It seemed to get just a tad bit hotter as they went ahead. It was so hot that Royalty started to sweat a bit. Living in Sunagakure, he was most certainly used to the heat so his body adjusted. Just about every 50 meters, it got a degree hotter. Once about 20 meters from the caverns, it was approximately 119 degrees Fahrenheit. Roy had to take off his jacket and place it over his left shoulder. It was light fit but certainly not needed for the climate they were experiencing right about now. As soon as he had stepped to one of the caves, he turned to Kyson with his eyes squinted.

"Jeez, it is really hot out here. I think these parts are way hotter than any other parts of the desert. Anyway, I see about 6 caves here. That leaves ones for each of us. They don't really look too deep so we can search them rather quickly."

Royalty then used his forearm to wipe the sweat off of his face as he walked into the cave that had been in front of him. The light from outside certainly lit up a great part of it. As he got deeper, the light got dimmer but he could still see what was going on. After walking in further, he noticed that he was reaching a dead end. A few rats and various bugs had crossed paths with him but nothing too out of the ordinary. The top of the cave slanted downwards the further you walked in. Now Roy could extend his arm out and touch the touch of the cave, being that he was tall. It was almost as if he walked into a cone.

Either way, there was nothing out of the ordinary in the cave he had just went in. It seemed oddly cooler the further he went. The cool air felt soothing as he was much used to temperatures like this. But honestly, he could not waste time basking in it. People were on the verge of dying back in the village. When Royalty remembered, he ran out of the cave at a speed of 62. After making it back outside, he looked to his left then to his right to see if Kyson and all of his clones inspected their caves yet.

As Kyson scattered his clones and was still following Royalty. Royalty mentioned how scorching the weather was getting. Royalty said that he saw six caverns up ahead and that meant Royalty, Kyson and his clones each got a cave to search. Kyson Ran towards the first cavern he saw while everyone else went to their own one. As Kyson was approaching the cave, he noticed the temperature was getting extremely hot. He had to make this quick. As he entered the cave, he looked around if he saw any blue flowers or herbs. Kyson was really sweating but he had to make this quick. He was looking hard through the cave as he was walking down. He noticed there was nothing there but small little insects and rodents. Kyson had reached a dead end and found nothing. Kyson hoped Royalty or the clones were able to find something because finding these herbs were crucial for the villages sake.

As Kyson was searching his cave. Clone number 1 began to search his cave. As he was going deeper and deeper within the cave. He didn't find anything. He saw strange marking on the wall and old firewood inside the caves. It was clear that someone had been inside it and was there for a while. He wondered who could have been in there but there was no time for that now. Since he didn't find anything, he quickly dispelled and reported his info back to the original Kyson. 

Clone number 3 was checking its cave at the same moment. As he was searching to through the cave. He found a dead dog inside that looked like it had been dead for about a week now. But no time to mourn for the dead animal. He had to hurry and find the herbs for the village. As the clone was searching hard, he couldn't find anything. The clone was rather pissed off because he didn't find anything. After Kyson and two other clones searching caves. None of them has found anything. Not even one plant or herb. He dispelled as well, revealing to Kyson that he found nothing.

Now was clone number 4's turn. As he looked inside the cave, he quickly looked at every corner to see if he found anything. As he was going through the cave, he found some plants. But it didn't matter because none of them appeared to be blue. He took one knee as he was observing the plants to see if he can find the right one. Then he slammed his fist into the ground because none of them was the right one. He then began to walk out and do another search as he was leaving. He still didn't find anything as he was walking out. As he finally left the cave, he dispelled and reported his findings back to Kyson.

Clone number 2 was searching his cave. And after a few meters of walking into the cave. There were some flowers and herbs on the side of the walls. He found different color flowers and hoped to find the right one. He saw red, then green, then yellow... then... BLUE! Then clone found the herb that can cure the sickness. Just before he could grab and take the herb back to Kyson and Royalty. A sharp black tail went through his chest at very high speeds. It caught the clone completely off guard. As he was hit by the tail, he began to mold into mud since it was a earth clone after all. After the mud began to mold and harden. The mystery tail crushed the hard mud and dirt that the clone created. This was reported back to Kyson immediately.

Kyson was getting pissed after finding that clone number 1, 3, and 4 didn't find anything. All those caves and there was nothing there. Kyson was getting frustrated. Then suddenly, after clone number 2 was attacked. Kyson noticed that he saw the flower in the cave he was searching. But he was also attacked by something. So Kyson had to be cautious at the same time.As Kyson ran out of the cave at a speed of 50, he wanted to tell Royalty the news. After Kyson had left the cave. He looked towards Royalty to see where he was at. He saw Royalty standing outside of his cave. 


"YO ROY, MY SECOND CLONE FOUND THE FLOWER IN ITS CAVE. BUT IT GOT ATTACKED BY SOMETHING BIG. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS, BUT WE GOTTA BE REALLY CAUTIOUS. FOLLOW ME!" Kyson yelled out to Royalty. Kyson used hoho and ran to the cave at a speed of 100 hoping Royalty followed him. As Kyson was out side of the cave, he waited until Royalty got there because he knew there was going to be a fight ahead. And he needs him and Royalty to take this monster down quick.

Each clone and the original Kyson had come out of their respective caves one by one. Royalty looked at all of them and noticed that none of them found the herb. No luck. Something had dawned upon him though. Kyson had made 4 clones yet he only saw 3. Something was up. Just as he was noticing, Kyson seemed distraught about something. He then yelled that his clone had been attacked by something big. What now? Royalty thought to himself. The clone had supposedly found the herb in one of the caves. Apparently, it was the cave in which his clone was attacked in. Kyson started to run towards the cave. Royalty followed. 

Running at a speed of 62, he eventually caught up with Kyson. That is, until Kyson used Hoho. Kyson jolted ahead in front of Royalty. He smirked a bit. Feeling it being unnecessary to use Hoho at this very moment, he kept his steady speed of 62. Eventually, he was on the right of Kyson. Now the both of them were looking at the entrance of the cave. Roy, like always made a humorous remark about the situation. He looked at Kyson and spoke.

"Well, looks like someone put your Earth Clone on timeout. We have to hurry up and get these herbs before the infection gets worse. I'll hurry and retrieve it. It'd be better if we can avoid whatever is in there."

Royalty looked back towards the entrance of the cave. He jogged at a speed of 20 inside to look for the herb. As he noticed the cave was deeper than the other cave that he had previously inspected, he sped up a bit. Royalty was now running at a speed of 40. As he got deeper into the cave, he saw a bunch of plants and flowers on the ground. The terrain was more grassy than the usual desert sand. 

It was still slightly dark. Royalty could not see more than 2 or 3 feet in front of him. While looking down at the different colored plants, he had bumped his head on something hard. It felt as if he had just ran into a brick wall. He stumbled back a bit before looking upward. Royalty quickly blinked which ended in activating his Shining Medical Eye. He could see a bit more clearly now. To his amazement, he saw a creature that appeared to be half man, half scorpion. It stared back at Roy.



Not wanting to waste any time, Royalty jolted about 3 steps to the creature and cocked back his right hand to deliver a punch at 70 strength to the base of where its stomach was. Royalty connected a full on punch but it seemed to have no affect. 

"What the f.."

Interrupted, the creature then smacked Royalty with his left pincer across his chest with a strength of 80. Royalty flew backwards out of the cave now sliding past Kyson. He was now on his back 2 meters behind where Kyson was standing and slightly struggling to get back to his feet. Despite the struggle, he stood up holding his chest and spoke.

"I....I don't know what the hell that is. But this isn't going to be easy..Go look at that. Looks like something you'd see in a nightmare."

Roy had been breathing heavier than normal as he still looked towards Kyson. He was continue back into the cave once Kyson did.

After Kyson had reached the cave, he saw Royalty show up in a couple seconds. Royalty began to speak, he joked around about how his earth clone got clapped while he was inside the cave. He said the two of them had to hurry up and get the herbs before the illness back at the village. Royalty implied that he will go inside the cave and retrieve the herbs. But he wants to try and retrieve the herb without encountering whatever is inside of their. As he saw Royalty run inside the cave. He waited patiently as Royalty went inside the cave. As Kyson waited, he looked inside the cave and saw the Royalty disappeared. As Kyson waited a few moments, he heard Royalty say something and suddenly... his body flew a couple meters in front of him. Kyson wondered what kind of creature is in there that made him fly like that. Could it be a ninja? Kyson said to himself. No way, the way the clone was attacked. It has to be some type of beast in there. When Kyson saw Royalty fly out. Kyson stayed clear of the cave until whatever attacked Roy came out. The beast began to slowly come towards the entrance of the cave. Kyson couldn't believe his eyes, it was a half man half scorpion. It was huge and he was about 10 feet tall. Why would the scorpion just happen to be in the same cave as the herbs. There must be a good reason. Could something like this really exist? Kyson didn't what to say, but he was ready to take it down in order to save the village.

"What the hell are you? How could something like you even exist." Kyson said as he never seen anything like this before. He has heard that there was giant scorpions in the dreadful desert of Suna. But he didn't expect to see anything like this.

"I found a way to combine my DNA with my scorpion summon. It took a lot of time and studies. but I finally figured it out. I have grown and become much stronger than I have ever been. But since I needed hand seals to undo the jutsu, I will forever stay in this form. These flowers and herbs keep me alive because my immune system isn't strong enough to adapt to the scorpions DNA. Just like any power, it has its strength and weaknesses. I was attacked by some bandits a while ago and I was strong enough to face them all. So combining with my summon was the only way to survive. But enough talk, I'll just kill the two of you right here and now." The Scorpion said as he began to run towards at Kyson at 40 speed. Kyson also ran towards the scorpion but he was running at 50 speed. The scorpion began to grab Kyson with his left claw at a speed of 80 and sharpness of 70. He was attempting to split Kyson in half by his waist. Kyson kept running towards his claw until he was right in between it. As the the scorpion attempted to split Kyson's body in hand at a speed of 80. Kyson activated his Hydrification at a speed of 185 and turned his waist section of his body into water. As the claw splits Kyson's body in half as if it was water. Kyson's upper half of his body was sitting on top of the closed claw while his lower half has on the ground. 

Kyson made pointed his hand in the shape of a gun towards the scorpions chest at a speed of 100. Kyson shot his water gun at a speed of 84 and a power of 94. As the water bullet was coming towards the scorpions chest. Kyson noticed he didn't even try to attempt to block or get out the way. Kyson assumed the scorpion new this was the end. Right before the bullet hit his chest. The scorpion activated an armor that gave him +50 health. Kyson's bullet was ineffective. Kyson noticed his skin and scale like structure began to become darker. But Kyson noticed his skin began to change but under his body didn't. So that must be the only vulnerable spot to attack while his armor is activated. But Kyson didn't give up yet nor stop there. He turned his entire body into water. His liquefied body dripped off the claw and merged with his lower body that was below the claw. As Kyson solidified himself, he began to roll under the scorpion at a speed of 50. Kyson was now laying on his back, directly under the scorpion. He formed a Rasengan in his left hand. But as soon as Kyson was attempting to strike under the scorpion at a speed of 100 and a power of 80. The scorpion  began to flow chakra through all eight of his legs. Allowing him to jump back 4 meters at a sped of 120. Just enough to dodge Kyson's attack. The way he reacted to Kyson's attack, he is positive that must be his only vulnerable spot. Kyson got up and stood there watching the scorpion. He was standing 4 meters away from it.

"His weak spot is under him. That was the only spot that didn't change colors when he activate that armor." Kyson said to Royalty. Now that he and Royalty knows his weakness. This should be a little easier.


"So you found my weakness. So what, you won't catch me off guard like that again." The scorpion said to Kyson with a slight smirk on his face. Now that they are aware of their weakness, he is most likely going to protect that area the most now. Which will make it a bit more difficult.
