Find The Herb [P, Kyson]

Royalty had thought that Kyson would first enter the cave. He had not needed to since the creature seemed to come out to the light. He looked much creepier in the light rather than inside of the cave. Once the half man half scorpion had fully revealed himself, it seemed like it and Kyson had begun exchanging words. The creature told his story as is. Roy felt a little uneasy seeing as he opened up straight like that but it was interesting to know why he was the way he had been. Seemed like the herbs were really valuable, said Royalty to himself. Of course after the story, the creature had told of his plans to kill both of them. Kyson and the creature began to run at one another. Royalty stood back to regain the bit of strength he had taken from that hit. He was still breathing faster than normal.

“Why do we always get these weird adventures,” said Royalty. It seemed to him that whenever they try to do something good, that something is always happening to them. Whether it be deranged Missing Ninja or people that have fused with their scorpion summons, it seemed as if the weird adventures would never end. None the less, Royalty would rather be here doing these things than trapped in Kumogakure with a corrupt leader. When he put it like that, the scale seemed to tip in the favor of this fight immensely.

The creature seemed to be reaching towards Kyson with his pincers. Kyson did not budge. Roy smirked knowing that the scorpion creature was going to be in for a surprise. As the creature clenched onto the waist of Kyson, he used Hydrification to be unaffected by the move. Roy watched as Kyson shot a Water Gun towards the scorpion. To Kyson’s surprise as well as Roy’s, the scorpion was unharmed by the Water Gun. Royalty raised both of his eyebrows.


“Hm?” Royalty was confused. Apparently, the scorpion man had activated some sort of technique. His skin around his torso had darkened. It had the be the reason for it not being harmed. It was then that Kyson had maneuvered so that he was under the creature. He then formed a Rasengan but the creature jumped back to dodge it. Kyson then got back up and told Roy of the creature’s weakness. The scorpion man was well aware that Kyson had figured him out. He was a little deeper into the cave since the initial scuffle between him and Kyson had been at the entrance.

At this point, Roy felt more like himself. He had recovered fully from the blow he had taken a few minutes ago. The reason he had been a bit disoriented was because it was an off guard hit. Now he was thinking of a plan. If the bottom is his weak point, and attacks do not work on his upper body… Royalty had been saying in his head. While he was just standing there, the scorpion man was staring back at them. It seemed that since his weakness was exposed, he would fight more wary this time around.

Royalty then bent over and slammed his right hand onto the ground. A cloud of smoke surrounded him until the desert breeze eventually cleared it. An owl was now on top of Royalty’s right shoulder. He was also standing straight once again staring back at the scorpion.

“Let me show you something neat…”

Immediately after his remark, Royalty began to fuse with Ovoilu at a speed of 80. After the fusion was finished, Royalty was standing in the same place with no real aesthetic changes but the folded bird wings on his back. He chose not to expand them. The creature spoke.

“Where’s your little bird huh?” He seemed a bit confused. Royalty responded in a decent tone.


“I just wanted to show you…” Before finishing his statement, Royalty used Taijutsu Shunshin to bolt in front of the creature at a speed of 265. He was unable to track his movement. Royalty’s right fist was in motion to deliver a strike. It was glowing with blue chakra. Before he could land the punch, he finished his statement.


“.......that I can merge too.” Royalty delivered the strike to the bottom of the creature’s stomach at a speed of 165 with a power of 132. Even with the armor, the creature flew back into the cave. Royalty stayed there in the spot that he was. His hands had both still been glowing.

About 30 seconds later, the scorpion began running out of the dark cave towards Royalty at a speed of 40. Roy did not care to budge. Once in range, the tail of the creature jolted towards Royalty’s chest with a sharpness of 70 at a speed of 80. Royalty smacked the tail to the left with his right hand and threw a punch towards to center of the creature’s face at a speed of 165 and a power of 132. The scorpion then flew back a few feet and stumbled to the ground. The creature was now on his side and struggling to get up. Royalty’s hands stopped glowing and he began to speak.

“Look, we have no desire to kill you or interfere with your living conditions at all. The people of our village are dying. We desperately need a few of the herbs to save them. If you would please just allow us to take a few, we will leave you at once.” Royalty was sincere in his tone. Silence befell the battlefield. The man then looked up towards Royalty, clearly a bit stunned from the blow.


“Do….whatever you want….. Save your people.” Royalty smirked. He knew he would eventually get through to the guy.

“Aye Kyson, go grab a few for extraction. We’ll leave a lot for him. I will heal his wounds.” Royalty performed a few hand seals and began moving towards the creature. Keeping his guard up, he kneeled down in front of him and began to place his glowing hands onto the jaw of the creature. The healing process began to speed up.

After Kyson told Royalty about the scorpion man's weakness.  Royalty did not say anything, but it was clear that he heard Kyson. Kyson stalled enough to let Royalty regain some of his strength. Now, he seemed ready to fight. Kyson looked back noticed Royalty began to do the summoning technique. Since when did Roy learn the summoning technique? And what could he be summoning? Maybe a weapon or some type of scroll. Then suddenly, an owl appeared on Roy's shoulder. Kyson was confused. What the hell is a owl going to do. Its chakra signature was fairly strong for a strong creature, he would give him that. But Kyson said nothing and just watched to see what Royalty was going to do. Roy began to speak, he stated he was going to show us something neat. Kyson stood there and observed. Kyson wondered where the bird had went. It suddenly disappeared. But Kyson noticed a difference in Royalty. He noticed his chakra in creased by a huge amount. With Kyson's chakra sensory, he could easily sense the birds chakra inside of Royalty. Kyson was amazed that Royalty found a summoning as unique as that one. And when did he find it? Must have been while Kyson was out doing missions or training. Then suddenly at a very high speed, Royalty used his body flicker technique. He was moving almost as fast as Kyson when he uses his water sovereign jutsu after he used body flicker. Royalty just about instantly appeared in front of the scorpion. But will he do to pierce his armor? Its a pretty strong defense. 

After Royalty appeared in front of the scorpion, he stated he could merge as well. So Kyson was right, the owl was now inside of Royalty. After Royalty spoke, he delivered a punch to the scorpion's stomach. Direct hit, Kyson said to himself. Kyson noticed Royalty hands were glowing with blue chakra. That's a lot of chakra he is putting into his hands. While Royalty was fighting the scorpion, Kyson saw this as an opportunity to retrieve the herbs. There is no time to waste, this our mission. After that punch, the scorpion man was in a lot of pain and wasn't really focusing on Kyson. Kyson used his hiding in the camouflage technique to completely hide his chakra signature and turn invisible. As Royalty was standing a few meters in front of him, Kyson used silent footsteps so there was no way the scorpion man would detect him. He would only assume that Kyson ran away somewhere if he looked back and saw him missing. Kyson walked past their duel and went inside the cave quiet and cautiously. As Royalty waited about 30 seconds to deliver another strike, Kyson used that time to retrieve the herbs. Kyson was now deep inside the cave and he saw a bunch of flowers that were all sorts or colors. It was dark, but not dark enough to the point where Kyson couldn't notice the colors on the flowers. There were plenty of herbs here so Kyson took 7 of the blue flowers. This should be more than enough, Kyson said. Kyson then quickly ran back to his original spot at a speed of 50. As Kyson was walking back, Royalty delivered another blow to the scorpion, but this time he threw a punch towards his face. That would never work, his armor is too strong. When Royalty landed his hit, it was almost like another direct hit. Kyson forgets that Royalty is a lot physically stronger than Kyson. Kyson has a justu that could almost match up to Royalty's strength. But it wouldn't even past his base strength. Kyson forgets that Royalty his strong as hell. He is a terrific taijutsu user, probably one of the best taijutsu users Kyson ever met.

Royalty then began to speak. He told the scorpion guy that were not trying to kill him. We just needed the herbs to save out village. He asked if they could just use a few to take back home. Even if the scorpion said yes or no, we were taking them regardless. his answer will only determine if he wishes to live or not. After Royalty spoke, Kyson had just got back to his original spot. He canceled his hiding in the camouflage technique and was now visible again. The scorpion began to speak right after Royalty. He said take whatever you like and to save our people. Kyson was grateful to hear him say that. After all that has happened, he still had enough heart to let us save our people. Royalty then began to speak to Kyson. Kyson had already accomplished that.

"Already taken care of." Kyson said to Royalty as he was holding up the herbs.

"I'm ready whenever you are. And by the way, when did you learn that summoning technique and where did you find it?" Kyson said as he was a bit curious as to how Royalty found and summoned that owl.

As Kyson was ready to go, he heard Royalty and the scorpion's conversation. Kyson didn't say anything, he just stood there and listened. It seemed Royalty tried cheering him up since we did take the herbs that kept him alive. Kyson heard Royalty mention Ovoilu . Could that be the name of his summon? Kyson started to ask himself if he will ever find obtain a summon. How would he even find one? Do you just try to find an animal that talks and ask if it could be your summon? Kyson was just asking himself a boat load of questions. By the time he got finished his barrage of questions. It seemed Royalty and the scorpion man were finished speaking. Royalty responded to Kyson about how he got his summon. He said it was a long story, which the two of them did not have time for. The village was undergoing a huge crisis at the moment. They had no time the waste. Kyson put the herbs inside his pocket. Kyson say Royalty run off at a very hide speed. Kyson activated his water sovereign and body flicked at a speed of 300. He ran for about 300 meters. But once he reached his 300 meter mark, he stopped for a split second and ran at a speed 150  using his hoho technique. He would keep running until he reached the village gates. Once Kyson reached the village gates. 

After he reached the gates, the guards acknowledged his return and they did not dare to stop him. They knew the situation already and how important their mission was. Royalty shouldn't be too far behind Kyson, he should most likely be a few seconds behind. Kyson would continue to run towards Suna's hospital at a speed of 75. Once he reached there, he would enter and talk to one of the nurses. 


"Here's the herbs, tell Lord Kazekage mission accomplished." Kyson said as he took the herbs out of his pocket and gave it to one of the nurses. They seemed completely relieved when Kyson showed them the herbs. 

"Thank goodness, things would have gotten much much worse if you guy's came 10 minutes later. Thank you for all of your help." The nurse said with a smile. The village was saved due to the two young Chunin and their efforts to save the village. 

"No problem miss." Kyson said back to the nurse. Kyson left the hospital and proceeded to walk back home.

As Royalty began to speed up, he noticed Kyson bolt right past him. He smirked while running and looked down a little. After murmuring a little to himself, he then looked back up and proceeded to run the path that had been in front of him.


“You always gotta cheat…” Royalty was commenting on how Kyson had used Body Flicker instead of just normally running. Royalty was already feeling a bit of fatigue so he did not feel the need to use Body Flicker at the moment.

Kyson obviously got to the gates of Sunagakure first. Royalty was only less than 5 seconds behind. After stopping, the guards allowed them to go through as the two went straight for the hospital. After entering, Kyson had delivered the herbs to a Nurse. She told them about how fortunate the patients were that they had arrived when they had. Things could have gotten much worse. The nurse then rushed the herbs back to the emergency rooms.

As Kyson spoke and began to walk out of the hospital, Royalty spoke to him for a brief moment.


“I will meet you home. I should go and see if I can help out.” Royalty followed the direction of the nurse to lend a hand in any medical procedures that he could. It felt good to help out.

In the emergency room, things looked very bad for some of the patients. A lot of them had trouble breathing but their pulses were still active. Royalty did not know what to do at first. The same Nurse that had taken the herb had came back with a needle with a blue liquid. Supposedly, it was the extract of the herbs. She handed it to Roy and he performed the necessary steps to inject the closest patient with it. A few seconds later, the male patient stabilized and looked up towards Royalty.

“Thank you young man,” he said to Royalty. Roy smiled back at the patient.


“Anything for a friend.”
