Sakaiza's 64 Palms Training [Myself and Togi]
Fri Apr 22, 2016 10:22 am
Stomach growling, Sakaiza knew not what was planned for his day. All he knew was that his sensei, who would no longer be his sensei come a couple days, wanted to extensively train him to become an even more powerful genin. The motive behind this lied in the bond that Evander had formed with Sakaiza through their years of training. This bond built from the fibers of blood, sweat, compassion and laughter made the two grow closer as each day went on. Now, Evander was slightly concerned for the security of Sakaiza. This sort of feeling wasn't uncommon for masters to feel towards their pupil when sending them out on great tasks, but Evander just couldn't shake the thought of it. Therefore, he had big plans for Sakaiza today.
"Come on Evander, can we please get food before we train? Knowing you we'll be in the Sun for God knows how long doing God knows what! Come on Evander, I can hear your stomach growling too!" Sakaiza started ,"As a matter of fact..." he began just as his eyes grew fierce yet friendly,"...my Byakugan is showing me that you've got nothing in your stomach at all, so what do you say? Let's grab some stew and rice?"
Evander, who planned on succumbing to the request of Sakaiza could only laugh. "This kid literally used his Byakugan to pressure me into getting lunch with him before training. What a goober...I do have to admit though...I am starving" Evander thought, blocking out the continuous, inaudible chatter which streamlined non-stop from the mouth of Sakaiza. "Alright!" Evander interrupted, giving Sakaiza room to breath,"Let's go get some stew and rice!"
Sakaiza, feeling victorious in the discussion although Evander wanted to get lunch also, jumped in excitement! "Awesome! I'm starving!" he said with a large grin on his face.
The two began walking from their meeting place to the market. The wind blew unusually calm today and the sun seemed to bear down significantly less than it typically did. Sakaiza noticed this and felt a sense of unease. "Something feels eerily different about today...I can only imagine what Evander has planned." His eyes panned from left to right and it seemed to him as if the world slowed down for a moment. Everything was quieter, more calm. Eyes slowly shifting to Evander, his sensei looked back at him and smiled, continuing to walk alongside his pupil. Then it all came back; life returned to its normal pace, he could hear the sound of his sandals settling into the sand and it seemed as if time accelerated to a degree, for he and Evander were already sitting at a bench with their food in front of them.
"Hey, you alright?" Evander interjected, breaking Sakaiza's concentration.
"What? Oh yeah, I must have been day dreaming again."
"Well dig in, Sakaiza. That stew isn't going to eat itself, ya know?"
Sakaiza's eyes fell from Evander's to the bowl of hare stew residing in front of him. What seemed to be in the blink of an eye, the bowl was completely finished and the rice was nearly gone too. The pair paid for their respective meal and then started on their way to the training grounds.
"Yeah, I can tell he knows something is up, but this will be good for him. He needs someone to teach him this technique...and because his father is dead, he can't do it. Yeah...this will be good." assuring himself again that Sakaiza would benefit from today.
Now at the training grounds,"Hey Sakaiza! There's someone I want you to meet today. He's like you, a Hyuuga! He'll be of more assistance to you today than I could ever be! Now...just where is he?"
Sakaiza, to himself, "Someone...like me? But who, and what will this someone be teaching me? Why can't Evander just teach me it....nevertheless, he knows best."
"Yeah okay Evander, I trust you judgement." began Sakaiza, "So where is this someone?" he continued as his eyes finally fell upon an individual off to the side,"Him?"

Re: Sakaiza's 64 Palms Training [Myself and Togi]
Fri Apr 22, 2016 1:48 pm
Togirama Hyuuga paced anxiously back and fourth in the small sandstone building that he called home, the reason for this anxiety was a simple unremarkable scroll that now lay on his neatly made bed. Togi had received this scroll via Ninja HQ but unlike the mission scrolls that were usually assigned to him this was a request for training placed by a Jounin by the name of Evander. Togi had never met or even heard of this Jounin before but apparently the Jounin had specifically requested the young Hyuuga's assistance... it wasn't this Jounin that had Togi concerned or even the prospect of training or teaching... It was who Togi was expected to teach.... it was a Hyuuga and Togi had not had to deal with another Hyuuga for many months now. Now Togi did not know much about this mystery Hyuuga infact all that he knew was that his name was Sakaiza and that he was expected to help him train in the use of the gentle fist.
'How amusing... the clan never deemed me worthy to be trained as a ninja nor taught the art of the gentle fist but now that I am of use they expect me to teach that which I was never taught...' Togi thought to himself as he continued to pace. 'I imagine this Saikaiza must be of the main branch... he must be for such a request to be made so far from Konoha... I just hope that he does not share the same traits as the clan elders...' Togi silently reasoned.
Despite his anxiety Togi was not one to be tardy nor one to turn up ill prepared, the young Hyuuga therefore ceased his pacing and quickly began to gather up his belongings. The Suna Genin was already dressed in his usual light smart grey robes but he quickly straightened them out before fastening the Suna forehead protector that he wore proudly on his forehead. Next Togi retrieved two sealing small sealing scrolls from his table and carefully tucked them inside the folds of his robes, with those secure Togi then picked up a weapons pouch and secured it to his right thigh before picking up a second and securing it to his left. Feeling properly equipped and ready for anything (even if that anything turned out to be a Hyuuga noble) Togi headed outside.
Once outside the young Hyuuga hesitated... he had been reading a few scrolls on Fuinjutsu from the library recently and an idea suddenly struck him. Closing his front door Togi carefully pressed two fingers to the wood before channelling his chakra, a small seal appeared on the surface of the wood before fading away. If Togi had followed the instructions in the scroll correctly then he would now be the only one able to open the door without overloading the seal. 'Guess I'll find out whether that works when I get home...' Togi thought to himself with a small amused smile before the young ninja began to flood his body with chakra. 'Now which training ground was it again?' Togi thought to himself before suddenly disappearing in a swirl of sand.
One second Togi had not been there and the next he had standing a shirt distance away from the pair. The only sign of his sudden appearance being the small amount if sand that his rapid movement had kicked up. Togi was though a couple of years younger than Sakaiza was only about an inch shorther, Togi kept his dark black hair a lot shorter than most Hyuuga but the most noticeable feature particular to another Hyuuga was that Togi did not possess the usual brilliant white eyes that were associated with the Byakugan but instead had dull lifeless grey eyes that did not appear focussed.
"Evander-sama, Sakaiza-sama I am Togirama Hyuuga and it is a pleasure to make your aquaintence..." The young Genin declared politely as he bowed to the pair. Standing back up Togi then reached out with his chakra senses and began to evaluate the pair. Unsurprisingly the Jounin had rather potent chakra but Togi was more interested in his would be training partner who after a cursory examination seemed to have quite a light chakra signature. 'Hmmm a wind affinity now that is interesting but his chakra signature is quite weak he must either be suppressing it or he must be very recently graduated...' Togi thought to himself.
"I believe my presence has been requested to help with the training of Genin Sakaiza but what was it exactly that you wished for him to learn Evander-sama?" Togi then asked politely before turning to face in the general direction of the boy though he never quite seemed to look at him.
"If you don't mind me asking and I mean no disrespect Sakaiza-sama but have you activated your Byakugan yet? And how knowledge are you of the gentle fist?" Togi questioned.

Re: Sakaiza's 64 Palms Training [Myself and Togi]
Sun Apr 24, 2016 12:39 pm
(OOC: Just activated the Byakugan, learned Palm Bottle and Tenketsu Needle)
It's funny how the world works. As Sakaiza finished his question, "So where is this someone?" he appeared. He was a boy, probably younger than Sakaiza, standing several inches shorter than himself. He wore a light grey robe along with a forehead protector situation above his brow. The boy in appearance seemed no different than Sakaiza, however there was something in particular that caught Sakaiza off guard. It was his eyes. They did not bare life, let alone color in them. They were awfully similar to the robes upon his body, grey in color. "Those eyes...how unorthodox. It's as if staring into a black hole, I can read nothing from this guy's eyes. But I can't judge him solely on appearance, he looks friendly enough." Sakaiza thought to himself while his eyes studied the boy persistently.
Then he heard something that he hadn't heard outside of his household,"Hyuuga". He did not know much of the clan besides the fact that they were blessed with the Byakugan, which he recently fully activated through training from his mother. It had only been about a week since his training with his mother and throughout that week he had been employing the use of his Byakugan in all of his sessions and missions. However, he was still discovering the potential of his new found ability. It took a lot of adjustment over the last week to grow used to the strain imposed upon his eyes and seeing everything around him in a different perspective, but he liked it. He liked the feeling of adrenaline and power he got since its activation, and he wanted to continue to further it in every way possible.
"So Togirama is his name and he's going to be helping me train..." and that's when it hit him. Several days ago, Sakaiza had mentioned to Evander about his mother helping him unlock the stored away potential of his Byakugan. He expressed to Evander about his desire of learning more and getting more training on it but it seemed as if Evander constantly avoided assisting whenever Sakaiza would ask him to train him. "Togirama is here to train me in the arts of the Byakugan. Evander kept stating that he couldn't train me but now it finally makes sense. That whole time he was looking for someone to train me! Well I guess he finally found someone, but is this Togirama really qualified to train me? He doesn't look much more experienced than I do." Sakaiza wondered to himself.
Nevertheless, Sakaiza continued to listen to the words of his to-be trainer. He asked Sakaiza a question regarding his knowledge of the Gentle Fist and the Byakugan. Having reflected on this upon the initial seconds of meeting Togirama, Sakaiza already had his response formulated.
He nodded and began to speak while simultaneously bowing, "It's a pleasure to meet you Togirama, my name is Sakaiza Hyuuga. We seem to have something in common." he lightly joked regarding the fact that the two were from the same clan.
"To respond to your question, I recently unlocked and discovered my Byakugan and I've been adjusting to this for the past week. My mother, Sakashi Hyuuga, is the one who helped me do so. She also showed me the art of the Gentle Fist, showing me the Tenketsu Needle and the Palm Bottom, which I'm sure you're familiar with. I've been working on them for the last week."
Evander listened and interjected upon the end of Sakaiza's statement. "Togirama, it's good to finally meet you in person. I'm glad you got my request for assistance. I contacted you so that you could train Sakaiza in techniques that I am physically unable to. He's a quick learner and is looking to further his Gentle Fist capabilities."
As Sakaiza stood patiently awaiting for the introductions to end, he once again grew quite eager. He could not wait to begin training with someone of his age, clan and similar stature. "So Hyuuga huh? So are you from the main branch in Konoha? I was born here in Sunagakure no Sato, myself. My parents fled the main branch for reasons unknown to me and began life anew here on the outskirts of town. You're actually the first Hyuuga I've met besides my mother and father."

"That we do..." Togi replied offering the elder Hyuuga boy a small smile. "I must admit I was surprised to learn that there was another Hyuuga Genin in Sunagakure I had thought I was the only one..." Togi replied. "I hope that we will be able to make this training a regular thing as I have had few opportunities to train with other Hyuuga..." Togi then added. 'Even while I was back in Konoha though that was due to entirely different reasons not the lack of Hyuuga...' Togi silently added.
"Only a week ago?" Togi then exclaimed in surprise before the young Hyuuga suddenly cocked his head to the side. "That is quite late but I can 'see' that the chakra pathways in your head and around your eyes are indeed less developed than some Hyuuga though they show recent signs of growth..." Togi commented. "Excellent Tenketsu needle and Palm bottom are the basics of the gentlefist and all other techniques use these two as a basis." Togi exclaimed.
"I see well I believe there should be a couple of things that I can teach him..." Togi replied as he turned to face in the general direction of Evander though once again not directly focusing on the man. "Will you be staying while we train or do you have other matters to attend to Evander-sama?" Togi then questioned.
"I was born in Konohagakure and my parents are of the main branch..." Togi began slightly hesitantly. "However... due to the fact that I... that I lost my Byakugan when I was still very young it was decided that it was better if I was placed in the branch family" Togi revealed. 'Sakaiza san was born and raised outside of the clan, that is unusual...' Togi thought to himself. 'Given that they have not been hunted down and live with one of the leaf's allies they can not have betrayed the clan or the village...' Togi reasoned.
"Now let us begin for today shall we?" Togi exclaimed. "First let me see what we are working with. Sakaiza-san please activate your Byakugan and assume the opening stance of the gentle fist....' Togi began. Once the older Hyuuga boy did as instructed Togi would begin to circle him occasionally correcting his stance by moving an elbow up slightly or a foot slightly back.
"Good... Now since you have already learnt both the tenketsu needle and palm bottom techniques you should already know how to seal a tenketsu..." Togi began. "As I am sure you have quickly realised sealing only a single tenketsu is unlikely to stop a skilled opponent that is why the more advanced of the gentle fist techniques rely upon sealing multiple tenketsu in quick succession in order to completely seal off an opponent of their chakra and to restrict their movement..." Togi began reusing pieces of a speech that Togi had once heard his father give his brother. "The technique that we shall work on is called the eight trigrams: sixty four palm technique, in order to master it you will need speed, accuracy and precision oh and lots of practise..." Togi declared before reaching inside of his robe and pulling out a small scroll.
"I actually learnt this technique by practicing on puppets but I think I have something that will work just as well." Togi explained as he unfurled the scroll. The young Hyuuga then channelled a small amount of chakra eliciting a small puff of chakra smoke before a large amount of water suddenly crashed down upon the ground. Before the water had a chance to soak away Togi then quickly formed a tiger hand seal and began to to mould and channel his chakra. In response two large amorphous blobs rose up out of the water and quickly took the form of Togi. Once formed the two water clones were near identical to the original, they lined up infront of the two boys, one in front of Togi and one infront of Sakaiza and offered a quick bow before slipping in to a defensive gentle fist stance.
"Ok Sakaiza-san please carefully watch what I do then please attempt to do the same..." Togi declared before he too just like his clones slipped in to the opening stance of the gentle fist. Togi's eyes then suddenly changed, instead of developing bulging prominent veins on the side of his head like most Hyuuga did Togi's eyes instead turned deepest black. "Watch carefully..." Togi instructed before suddenly lunging forwards. With two quick strikes Togi slammed his palms in to the clone's torso as his hands flashed with chakra. "Two palms" Togi called out mostly for Sakaiza's benefit. "Four palms!" Togi exclaimed as he landed another two palms upon the clone. "Eight palms!" Togi called as he increased his pace slightly striking the clones abdomen a further four times. "16 Palms" Togi then declared as he rapidly lashed out another eight times as the speed of his movement was becoming difficult to track. "32 palms!" Togi cried as he unleashed a barrage of attacks upon the clone causing water to splatter as he struck. "64 palms!" Togi cried moving at such a speed that his arms were likely a blur to the older Hyuuga. With his final strike the clone then exploded with a spray of water that flew in all directions.
With a satisfied smile Togi came to a stop and slowly turned around. "Now it is your turn Sakaiza-san. Remember your chakra does not only damage your opponent but it guides your movements too. Let the flow of chakra control your strikes. Speed is important but precision is more so, make sure to pick your targets before you strike your blows should be thought out and carefully chosen..." Togi continued. "Now whenever you are ready..." the original Togi declared as he took a step back ready to observe while the remaining clone waited for the attack.

Togi instructed before suddenly lunging forwards.

Re: Sakaiza's 64 Palms Training [Myself and Togi]
Mon Apr 25, 2016 10:49 am
Nodding, Sakaiza seemed to approve of the trainer that Evander found for him. He bore similarities with Sakaiza and could teach him techniques that only members of the Hyuuga clan would be familiar with. It really struck a chord with Sakaiza that Togirama had also been surprised by the fact that another Hyuuga, outside of his direct family at least, was present in the Sunagakure. Sakaiza was also taken by the informal offer made by Togirama having just met Sakaiza, to continue meeting up and having training sessions together. It appeared as if Sakaiza had found a training partner that could continue to push him to become a better shinobi, primarily through improving his bloodline abilities. "He just met me...he hasn't even judged my abilities yet and already wants to continue to train. This guy seems pretty friendly."
Nevertheless, Sakaiza thought nothing too much of it. He would take his training partner for the day and if anything more developed from it, he would act accordingly. Sakaiza was not surprised by the confusion caused by the statement regarding his lack of experience with his Byakugan. However to his dismay, he frowned slightly for it seemed as if Togirama was disappointed by his awakening coming only so recently. Sakaiza felt as if he had come a long way, training extensively to improve his technique and Byakugan, however he realized that it only made sense for a Hyuuga to wish more of a fellow Hyuuga. "Yes, I've made a lot of progress this week. As a child I always knew there was something different about me, I could see things that others could not. I think at some points I would unknowingly tap into my Byakugan and it would just takeover. But my mother recently instructed me to unlock my potential and I've been training since." Sakaiza said rather defensively. He normally was one of casualty and jokes, but he felt a little out of his league in this situation. Yet, he was quite pleased to hear that Togirama was satisfied with Sakaiza's knowledge of the fundamentals.
Evander then chimed in, "Actually I was just about to go! It seems as if you two are hitting it off well, I'm sure I'm leaving my pupil in more than capable hands!" Again, "Sakaiza, you'll be with Togirama today. Respect him as you would me and make the most of it! I'm outta here!" he said as he turned around and began to walk off.
Sakaiza nodded and as Evander walked off, the introductions continued. Togirama revealed his past, seeming rather sensitive to it from his hesitation. But for good reason. Sakaiza could not imagine what it would be like to lose his Byakugan having just now discovered it. And on top of it, the main branch removed him from their family and placed him in the subset. "Damn, what this guy's been through I can't imagine. But at least he knows where he comes from, all I know is my parents. But..." he continued to think, "he lost his Byakugan? Could that be why his eyes look so lifeless?"
Lost in thought, his internal analysis was then broken. He began to lesson Sakaiza on the purpose of the Techniques he learned: Tenketsu Needle and Palm Bottom. Sakaiza had already been aware of this basic information, but he felt as if it were a good transitional statement leading into the actual lesson. "8 Trigrams: 64 Palm Technique, huh? Sounds powerful," he calmly said aloud, masking his internal excitement within himself. He then watched as Togirama created two water clones of himself. "Oh wow, this guy is a water specialist. On top of his Byakugan, he must be quite the formidable foe."
As he was told to watch carefully, Sakaiza did so. He was instructed that much speed was required for this technique, so he assumed Togirama would be moving very quickly. "Speed...he'll probably be moving too fast for my eyes to adjust to...Byakugan!" he said to himself as his eyes immediately took on an opal tint with a hint of purple, veins along his temples protruding. He then began to take the gentle fist stance that his mother showed him, as Togirama requested it. His right hand extended in front of his body and the left center to his chest with his fingertips pointing in front of him and to the sky respectively. His knees were bent with his dominant foot leading and his left planted firmly behind him. Next came the art of observing. Togirama began with a series of two open palm strikes dealt to the water clones he generated. Following the initial duo of blows came 2 more, then 4 more, then 8 and so on until a total of 64 strikes were dealt to the clone, which exploded on after. The last set of strikes seemed to be the quickest, as Togirama was moving fast enough to slightly blur the vision of Sakaiza but through concentration his eyes began to adjust to the movement. He noted several things from the technique. The first of which being that each time Togirama struck, it seemed as if each spot he pinpointed was a tenketsu along the clone's body. He noticed and remembered almost every individual tenketsu point that Togirama chose to strike. He struck with precision, speed..oh, and lots of practice. On top of that, he noted that with each series of blow came a declaration of the total amount of strikes being dealt. Sakaiza studied his moves carefully. "Such power, such speed..."
Now came a prompt for Sakaiza to begin. "Remember your chakra does not only damage your opponent but it guides your movements too. Let the flow of chakra control your strikes." Words familiar to him from his mother training that were repeated by his new trainer. Sakaiza knew that chakra control needed to be maintained in order to perfect the gentle fist and more specifically the 64 Palms technique. Realizing this, he slightly broke stance. He shifted his torso so that it was facing forward and brought his hands above his head. He inhaled steadily as his hands were rising, then as he brought them down to meet them in the center of his chest, he exhaled that air and continued to breath at a constant, slow pace. His eyes closed and he began to concentrate his chakra. Once he felt focused enough, his hands became infused with chakra and it was his time to perform the technique.
He assumed the gentle fist stance once more and began,"Two Palms!" he exclaimed. Following this came two blows delivered to the same relative tenketsu which Togirama struck on his practice clone. "Four palms!" he copied Togirama, striking in the same spot as Togirama once did. He picked up his pace with the following four strikes upon the clone's abdomen, continuing to mirror the moves of Togirama while simultaneously letting out a, "Eight palms!" Next came, "Eight palms!" as Sakaiza began to realize that his speed and chakra were increasing significantly. "Thirty-two palms!" cried Sakaiza, now understanding that both his speed and chakra were becoming difficult to maintain. "Focus Sakaiza, this is crunch time. Remember your chakra control training. Track your speed, you got this." he internally coached himself. In that split second between finishing the 32nd blow and beginning the 33rd, he breathed and reaffirmed his confidence in himself. "Sixty-four palms!" he yelled with confidence as he was now moving at a speed he had never moved at before. He focused his chakra and speed and delivered blows upon the majority of the final tenketsu points, however his technique lacked the degree of experience that Togirama's had. His strikes were fierce, calculated but slightly sloppy. Nonetheless, he continued, executing each blow while maintaining speed beyond the limits he thought his body could push. The last blow was dealt as his clone too exploded, sending water projecting all around.
Breathing heavily and remaining in the gentle fist stance he held throughout the strike, he stood there in the position he dealt the final strike in. "Was that...was that it? Did I really do that..." he thought to himself in disbelief. He felt the massive amount of energy and chakra he just exerted and was focusing his breathing to retain his chakra control in case asked to perform the technique a second time. However Sakaiza had a slight smile upon his face, proud of the progress he just displayed and satisfied with his first attempt. As his breathing calmed shortly after the series of strikes, he returned to standing in his normal posture then turned to face Togirama, "Togirama-sama....how was that?"

Togi once again found himself surprised by something that the other Hyuuga had said. "You were not aware that you were a Hyuuga? Or perhaps not the significance of what being a Hyuuga meant?" Togi exclaimed as he cocked his head to the side in a quizzical manner. 'I guess when you are not in the presence of the elders you are not constantly reminded of what it is to be a Hyuuga and what is expected of the Hyuuga clan....' Togi silently added. "And I take it you were not aware of the Byakugan either? Then it is of no real surprise that you did not activate it until recently" Togi offered.
"It can be incredibly powerful when used correctly however it is not an easy technique to truly master..." Togi replied.
Togi was impressed by Sakaiza's form, for someone who had been only learning the stance very recently their was only a surprisingly few things that Togi needed to correct. Togi then smiled to himself as Sakaiza began a technique to calm and centre himself, in a way it reminded Togi of his own meditation techniques that he used when learning particularly difficult techniques. Sakaiza then began his assault and Togi took a step back to observe. Sakaiza seemed to be a fast learner and his mimicry of Togi's attack was impressive. As Togi focussed in with his chakra senses he noted how the other Hyuuga was attempting to target the same tenketsu that he had done, to begin with Sakaiza was achieving a great deal of success though as he sped up his attacks grew more wild and he began to score less and less direct hits. Sakaiza's attack would still have likely been devastating to an inexperienced opponent due to chakra damage alone but a skilled opponent would have been able to continue with the number of tenketsu that were left unsealed.
When the attack was over and Togi's clone exploded in to a shower of tiny water droplets Togi began to clap with a wide smile on his face. "That was excellent truly excellent" Togi declared enthusiastically. "I was not sure if you would be able to maintain your focus throughout the entire technique but you are obviously a natural" Togi complimented. "Now perhaps you'd like to sit down? The first time can be rather draining... when I first successfully performed the technique I actually ended up collapsing..." Togi revealed with a small smile on his face.
Togi then gave Sakaiza a chance to sit down and recuperate before expanding further on what he thought. "Overall your form was very good, it slipped a bit towards the end when you were tiring however to have kept it up for so long was impressive..." Togi began. "You could do with a bit more fluidity to your strikes but that will come with practice as will the precision of your strikes as your Byakugan grows in power" Togi finished.
"Now performing the eight trigrams sixty four palms successfully is one thing but if it is to be truly useful then you must be able to use it on a moving target..." Togi declared as he took a further step back and slipped back in to a gentle fist stance. "Now I would like you to attack me..." Togi declared with a slight smirk. "I must warn you however I will fight back!" Togi added slightly dramatically.

Re: Sakaiza's 64 Palms Training [Myself and Togi]
Mon Apr 25, 2016 9:51 pm
(Lol I think I am too. I don't know what else there would be to work on unless you know more 8 Trigrams techniques or anymore taijutsu haha)
Prior to Sakaiza beginning his the practice of this newly discovered technique, Togirama seemed quite surprised by the fact that Sakaiza was unaware of the power of his bloodline clan. The answer simply was, he was never taught of it. He knew not that the Hyuuga clan was able to employ the powerful gentle fist technique. He knew not that the Hyuuga clan was blessed with the enhanced sight granted from the Byakugan. He knew not that the Byakugan and gentle fist could allow his body to move so fast. All of this was news to him once his mother, Sakashi, and his new training partner, Togirama, explained it to him. However, the training session seemed as if it were moving so quickly that because Sakaiza was lost in thought on how to respond, he took too long and the training had already commenced. Nevertheless Sakaiza still felt as if Togirama viewed him as an inferior Hyuuga. It was all very different from speaking to any other person. This boy, Togirama, knew more of Sakaiza's heritage and bloodline than he himself knew. Sakaiza felt disappointed, growing slightly angered. Nevertheless, upon the beginning of his display of the technique, he calmed his anger through the focusing of his chakra.
He then laughed, for Togirama stated that he collapsed after performing the technique for the first time. It reminded him of when he unlocked his Byakugan. "I think I'll stand! I've got so much chakra flowing through my body right now that I don't think I could sit if I wanted to!" he said with a reassuring laugh. "But that actually reminds me of when I unlocked my Byakugan, I actually fell unconscious right after. It all was so much to take in..." he said, taking a semi-serious approach to his statement.
Now facing Togirama, he listened to the critique that the other Hyuuga had to offer. Sakaiza recognized as soon as he finished the technique that the end of it got sloppy, but he couldn't change anything about it now. However, he remained proud of his first try. He knew that focusing his chakra only at the beginning of the move would not be enough to maintain a taijutsu of this caliber. He reflected on this, and it came to him. He would have to focus his chakra all throughout the entire move, maintaining it and improving it as the move would require more and more chakra output as it waged on. The comment that Togirama responded with reflected this.
"I knew I was getting sloppy towards the end, there was so much chakra output working alongside my speed...it was quite difficult to maintain." he let out in a slight defense. What made his happiest was Togirama's acknowledgement of Sakaiza's quick learning, even daring to call him a natural. "Well I am a Hyuuga, it was born with me!" he thought to himself, slightly smiling.
Then Togirama posed Sakaiza with a new offer that widened the eyes of Sakaiza. "Is this guy really asking me to attack him...?"
"Well...you're the trainer here. I guess you know what's best" he said, smiling also while bending his knees and assuming the gentle fist stance. He noted that Togirama's stance was slightly different, so he adjusted his accordingly. He repositioned his feet, leaned down and forward more with one arm extending out behind him and the other forward. He lifted his head, eyes now focused directly upon his opponent then thought for a split second on his first move.
"I am to attack first, but he seems to be evidently stronger than I am. However this doesn't seem to be a full force spar, yet Togirama just wanting me to land the attack on him while he moves....I'll have to take this carefully."
He broke the stance, immediate quick dashing forward towards the direction of Togirama who wasn't too far in front of him. When he began running, his palms immediately were brought together and quickly signed a ram, snake then tiger, thus generating a clone of himself running a meter in front of his real body. "He's going to be expecting a frontal, direct attack so I'll need to switch it up." He thought as his clone lunged forward with his palms seeking to begin the technique upon the chest of Togirama, fiercly calling out,"2 palms!"
"Hopefully he'll buy the distraction and I'll be able to follow up with the real technique.." Sakaiza thought while maintaining the one meter distance behind his clone.

Re: Sakaiza's 64 Palms Training [Myself and Togi]
Tue Apr 26, 2016 7:16 am
Togi smiled as the other boy laughed, Togi could tell that it was not a malicious laugh aimed at the misfortune of another but a genuine laugh of amusement and Togi therefore took no offense and once Sakaiza elaborated it became clear that a similar event had happened to him in the past.
As Sakaiza explained why he had become sloppy towards the end of the technique Togi nodded and gave a slight smile. What the other boy said was quite true but as Togi had already said these things would improve with practice.
Togi then gave a slight chuckle. "Do not worry Sakaiza-san I am a medical nin in training I should be able to heal any injury that you cause me" Togi declared with an amused tone of voice.
When Sakaiza rushed forwards Togi kept track of him with his chakra senses and as soon as the older Genin began to mould his chakra the chakra sensor quickly realised what he was doing. "Using a clone as a distraction is a good strategy but not really one that will work on me..." Togi began before Sakaiza had even finished performing the clone technique. As if to demonstrate why that was Togi then reached up and pulled his forehead protector down until it was completely covering his eyes.
Just as the clone was about to strike the now blindfolded Togi suddenly leapt in to action quite literally, surging forwards the blind Hyuuga leapt straight through the clone and launched himself straight at the original at a fairly decent speed for a Genin (speed 60), as he flew Togi extended a leg which he aimed to slam in to Sakaiza's shoulder with just enough force to knock him backwards (strength 11). The sudden use of standard taijutsu would hopefully come as a surprise and Togi was rather interested in how Sakaiza would respond.

Sakaiza had initially planned for his clone to take the first blow, creating a diversion for enough time to allow Sakaiza to make his next move. He had already analyzed his opponent realizing that he would more than likely be stronger, quicker and have more chakra than Sakaiza. Therefore, Sakaiza would have to rely on his wits to land his strike. As his clone rushed forward, Sakaiza continued to maintain the 1 meter distance between the clone and himself. However all in an instant, his clone disappeared and a small cloud of smoke appeared. Jumping up through the cloud and dissipating it in the process, Togirama was now rushing straight towards Sakaiza.
"Ah, it's too quick to dodge against. I have no choice but to block." He thought bringing his arms up and crossed, intercepting the kick. Sakaiza slid back several feet, maintaining his defensive stance. "That kick was strong...but I can tell he's holding back. That wasn't even Gentle Fist taijutsu..." Sakaiza still felt the power of the kick to the outsides of his forearms, but he knew that successfully executing the technique was more important than any damage he took. "Regardless, I need to move quick!" His entire thought process happened within the span of the attack and Sakaiza's defense of it. He immediately brought his arms back down to their respective sides and infused the left with chakra.
As his arms were coming down from their original defensive position, he quickly began running forward(starting speed of 13). When he was within range of Togirama, Sakaiza quickly dropped down, catching himself with his right hand and right knee. He extended his left leg out and used his right knee, foot and hand as a rotational pivot source to allow his body to spin. With his left leg out, he was attacking Togirama with a leg sweep(5 Strength, 28 Speed). However, Sakaiza extended his left palm out above and parallel to his swinging leg, with his open palm swinging towards the right, upper calf of Togirama to serve as second, simultaneous attack(13 Strength, 28 Speed). "If I can just hit that tenketsu along his calf... but if I miss, I already have a back up plan." once again thinking to himself as he began to infuse his right palm with chakra.
