Togirama Hyuuga woke up early as he always did, it was still dark outside but this did not matter to the young Hyuuga who could not see whether it was light or dark anyway. Waking up so early was a habit left over from the days when he used to live on the Hyuuga clan grounds and he was expected to wake before the main branch Hyuuga to complete his chores such as prepare their breakfasts or was their clothes. While Togi missed his family he had to admit he did not miss all the chores he used to have to do. Now that he lived alone in the small domed sandstone building in Suna he no longer needed to wake early to complete his chores though it did give him a good amount of extra time for training.
Quickly washing and dressing himself Togi then sat down to a quick breakfast as he thought about the day ahead of him. He had to go back to Ninja HQ today and collect another mission, given that his first mission had gone relatively smoothly and had not been that dangerous Togi was feeling a lot less apprehensive and decided to get in a bit of extra training for the day before he went out for his mission.
Unrolling a piece of parchment on the table infront of him Togi quickly formed the Tiger seal and channelled chakra in to his head awakening his chakra senses, he then studied the chakra laced script that he had written using Fuinjutsu a few days a go. This scroll contained notes on a particular jutsu that one of the librarians from the village library had been kind enough to dictate for the young Hyuuga as Togi had been unable to read the original scroll itself. The scroll that Togi had been interested in was not infact a medical jutsu which the newly promoted Genin had mostly been studying recently but was infact what would hopefully become Togi's first elemental ninjutsu.
When Togi had been tested back in the academy for what his primary chakra affinity was Togi had been surprised to find that he had infact had a water nature. At first Togi had not been sure how this news would affect him for most of his clan used non elemental taijutsu and he himself was interested in becoming a medical ninja and medical ninjutsu was once again non elemental. However when Togi eventually did a little research on water jutsu he found that there were infact some really useful abilities that he could learn. It was just unfortunate however that Togi had ended up studying in Suna, quite possibly the driest place on the entire planet.
While there were a couple of water jutsu that Togi was interested in learning he had decided to start with the one that he thought could be the most useful. Togi had decided to learn the water clone jutsu! Being able to produce solid clones would create so many possibilities and could also be of use for future training as he would actually be able to spar against them. Togi however was quite surprised by how simple the jutsu looked to perform. It only had one hand seal while the lower ranked standard clone technique had three in comparison. On top of this the one seal that he would have to use just so happened to be the tiger hand seal which was his all time favourite seal. The trick was however that instead of just manipulating his own chakra he would have to use his chakra to manipulate water. Togi therefore fetched a glass of water and placed it on the table in front of himself. The young Hyuuga then formed the Tiger seal and focussing on the water he then attempted to get the water to take any shape other than the one it was in. Togi felt the act if controlling the water to be incredibly hard though atleast when he focussed his chakra on the water he could cause the water to ripple slightly.
Not wanting to be late for his mission Togi sealed away his notes and the glass in to a sealing scroll and tucked it away inside his robe. The young Genin then retrieved his weapons pouches and fastened thenmto his thighs before finally fastening his forehead protector on to his forehead. Satisfied that he was now properly equipped for a mission the young Hyuuga then slipped out of the building and closed the door behind him.
Making his way across the village Togi held his hands in the Tiger seal as he went trying to get a feel for any water as he walked. Unsurprisingly he did not feel much given that Suna was a desert city but every now and again he would feel a slight twinge.
Finally reaching ninja HQ Togi did not hesitate this time and immediately walked straight inside. Togi then gave a slight smile as he detected the chakra signature of the same Chuunin sitting behind the desk as there had been the last time he was here.
"Good day senpai" Togi declared with a smile as he walked up to the desk. "Ah Togirama Hyuuga glad to see you again so soon. I've got a nice simple mission for you today" the man exclaimed. "Please go on..." Togi then replied as he stood infront of the desk with his legs apart and his arms resting out infront with one hand over the other.
Carefully selecting a small scroll from the pile on the desk the Chuunin paused briefly as he remembered that Togi would not be able to read the mission scroll and instead of handing it over he unravelled it and looked down. "Your mission is to watch over monument park, you are to make sure that the civilian children there are safe but also that they respect the park aswell and follow the rules. Your shift will begin at 09:00 hours and will last for five hours at which point you will be relieved by another Genin who will present you with a matching mission scroll" the Chuunin recited. After listening to the description of the mission Togi smiled slightly. Monument park was towards the centre of the village in a fairly well off area, this meant that despite technically this being a guard mission there would be next to no risk. Togi could understand the purpose of this mission though it gave newly graduated Genin the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the routine of being on guard without actually being in danger. The reason behind the mission suddenly made Togi think of his last mission, by tracking down the graffiti artist he had adjunct idly been practising his hunting and tracking skills without even realising it. Togi had heard a lot of negative things about E and D rank missions such as that they were a complete waste of time but now that he had experienced them Togi realised they were used as safe training exercises to hone the skills of a fresh Genin such as himself.
Breaking out of his quiet introspection Togi bowed to the Chuunin and accepted the mission scroll tucking it inside his robes. "Thankyou senpai I'll see you in just over five hours..." Togi declared as he turned and left the building. As he made his way to monument park Togi once again formed the Tiger hand seal and attempted to feel for water. While doing this Togi let his mind wander and he began to consider what he knew about monument park. As the name suggested it housed a monument to heroes of the sand, ninja that had fought and died in battle in order to protect the village. It was also somewhat of an oddity in Suna having an unusually large variety of plant life. It was in effect a large botanical garden it had a number exotic plants, trees and even grass in places. The amount of water it must of took to keep all this plant life alive must have been rather sizeable but the park was a favourite of shinobi and civilians alike and was rumoured to have been set up by a previous Kage so the village footed the expense. And talking of water the first time Togi had visited Togi had been surprised to find that the park had a water feature. Not only was there a small artificial pond towards the centre of the pond but of all the extravagance there was also a fountain aswell! If memory served there was also a small children's play area with swings, slides and climbing frames to one side of the park. This would be the most likely place for children to gather in numbers and therefore the best place for Togi to keep watch.
When Togi arrived at the park it was still very early in the morning and there were hardly any people in the park, Togi noted that here were a couple of chakra signatures present by they seemed to be passing through the park rather than staying in it obviously having chosen to take a scenic route to wherever they were heading. 'Well I might aswell
be productive...' Togi thought to himself as he took up a position next to the artificial pond that was still close to the children's play area so that once children started to arrive he could get there easily if he needed to.
As he waited Togi formed the Tiger hand seal once again and began to focus his chakra, now that there was more water present Togi could get better feel for it and after much effort he felt as though the water was beginning to respond to his will. While Togi was practicing to manipulate the water Togi became aware of people entering the park at first it was just the occasional person taking a leisurely stroll through the park but soon small children began to flock to the play area either on their own or with their parents. Extending his chakra senses Togi did a quick sweep of the park, all seemed calm couples both young and old were out for a stroll and kids were playing. There didn't seem to be anyone in the park who shouldn't be there and no one seemed to be doing anything that they shouldn't be. Togi therefore decided it would be safe to get back to his training.
Concentrating on the water Togi was sure he could feel it moving and sure enough the water began to bubble upwards rising out of the pond and forming a weird amorphous shape. Before Togi could get any further though his keen sense of hearing detected that the noises in the playground had gone from lighthearted and happy to angry and aggressive. Focussing in with his active chakra sense Togi noted a boy several inches shorter than he was getting very close to another two even shorter figures. From the chakra signatures Togi guessed that the larger boy was from a ninja family while the smaller ones were civilians. From what he could hear it sounded as though the ninja child was threatening the other two.
In a burst of speed Togi dashed towards the play area letting the amorphous blob of water drop and fall back in to the pond. In a single bound Togi leapt the fence and in the time it took for the boy to throw a punch the young Hyuuga appeared in between and took the blow square on the chest. Togi had been in a lot of spars in the academy and Togi remembered the blows being a lot harder. This in comparison had felt like a tap but against a civilian child it could have caused some damage.
"A Ninja does not abuse his powers and pick on those weaker than him..." Togi declared towering over the would be aggressor with an obvious hint of annoyance and anger in his voice. Unbeknown to Togi as he said this his eyes had begun to darken and the stern look on his face combined with midnight black eyes was somewhat intimidating to the younger boy and he stumbled backwards slightly in fear. "I suggest you leave before I decide to speak to your parents..." Togi then added which had the desired effect of causing the young bully to turn risk and run.
With the bully seen off Togi smiled to himself and shook his head as the children began to cry out how amazing it was that he had just appeared out of nowhere. Once things had calmed down again Togi returned to his previous spot and began to practise the jutsu once again. This time the amorphous blob rose out of the water much more easily and swelled to the size of about a person though Togi had some trouble getting the water to fully take his form. Slowly the blob began to grow arms and legs and a head but even from his point of view Togi could tell it would not yet pass for a person. He was close though that much Togi could tell for certain maybe with just a few more minutes of practice he would work it out... It however was not meant to be as his focus was once again broken by a sound from the play area. This time there was a shriek followed by an almighty wailing. Hearing the sound of a child crying in pain Togi instinctively dashed forwards to help. The young Hyuuga once again jumped the fence and made his way over to a small gathering of children who were standing around at the bottom of the monkey bars... The only problem was Togi hadn't actually done this. The Hyuuga Genin was still standing at the side of the pond with his hand in a Tiger seal yet he also appeared to be standing with the small group of children! When the child had cried out somehow the blob of water had gained a life of its own and it was now water Togi who stood in the playground.
"What's the matter..." Water Togi exclaimed softly as he crouched down among the small children though he could already see that the ankle of the one who had fallen was twisted at a most awkward angle and was likely already swelling.
"I fell and I can't get up!" the small pigtailed girl cried her eyes wet with tears. "It hurts, it hurts, make it stop" she then wailed clenching her tiny little hands in to fists which she then pounded upon the ground in infantile fury. Water Togi however merely gave a gentle smile as he brought his hands together and quickly formed a string of three hand seals. The doppleganger's hands then began to glow with a soft green light and he slowly moved them over the twisted ankle. The girl hiccuped in surprise and looked down with wide eyes as the pain slowly faded away. In a matter of minutes the ankle had returned to previous size and colour and looked a lot more healthy. Water Togi was not done however and suddenly scooped the girl up making her eep in surprise. "Now where are your parents young lady" the clone than asked softly to which the girl thrust out a hand to a group of women who were so busy chatting away that they had not noticed the commotion.
If he had normal eyes water Togi might of rolled his eyes but instead he sighed and gave a slight shake of his head. Making his way over water Togi managed to make his way all the way up to the women and they had still hadn't noticed his and the girls presence.Water Togi therefore gave a gentle cough to announce his presence before speaking up. "Sorry to disturb you but this little lady had a bit of an accident..." Togi began before hastily correcting himself. "She fell and twisted her ankle" Togi explained getting a gasp of surprise. "Do not worry I have treated it with a basic medical jutsu but I would suggest you keep an eye on it just incase..." Water Togi declared as he held out the girl who now had her arms outstretched towards her mother.
"Thank you young man" the woman replied as she took the little girl from him. Water Togi then took a step back. "You are most welcome!" he then declared with a bow before suddenly collapsing in to a puddle of water.
The real Togi meanwhile had a broad grin on his face grin where had been observing the while thing. The water clone jutsu certainly was a really handy jutsu!
The rest of Togi's shift was mostly uneventful and it was not long before Togi detected an average size chakra signature rapidly approaching. "Togirama Hyuuga?" the Genin called out once he arrived. "I'm supposed to take over from you..." he added holding out a scroll. "Ah excellent well it's pretty quiet at the moment... But good luck" Togi replied waving goodbye to the other Genin. Togi then slowly made his way back to ninja HQ with a small smile, for the most part it had been a rather relaxing day and he was going to get paid for it aswell.
"Mission complete" Togi exclaimed as he walked up to the chuunin's desk handing back the mission scroll. "Any problems to report?" the Chuunin then questioned. "Nothing major... a bit of bullying going on and a twisted ankle but all issues were resolved" Togi replied to which the Chuunin quickly scribbled down some notes. "Well here's your mission pay I hope to see you again soon" the Chuunin then declared before waving Togi off. With pay in hand Togi headed back in to the village in the mood to find something to eat.

Approved - Only one small issue, I know your character is blind, but with mission scrolls you wouldn't be permitted to keep copies for security risks. You are welcome however to say braile copies, or chakra lacing is on the original that you were permitted to see. A shinobi is expected to remember the details, thus the scroll will not be just given to them.
In times of war should an enemy shinobi get ahold of the scroll, they know your objective, and in some cases your employer which can cause massive problems for your village, opposed to them just knowing you're around with an unknown objective.
