When she got home, the spider was still there.
Oh no~~
Spiders are truly terrible things. Well, time to book it again. Heading out into the early morning sun again, Kozachi found herself in a volatile situation. She didn't know what to train...? Hmph, well that could be easily remedied. She could spend the remainder of her morning working on her physical abilities. Since heaven itself seemed to be smiling on her advancement today, why not take advantage of that in full? The more insights she could gain, the stronger she could become, leading her to her true path toward the martial peak.
Still, she didn't find that her body was becoming more powerful that quickly. Rather, her level of chakra control had vastly increased in comparison to the day before. This could only go well now, right? The sunshine that day was cheery and bright, tempered only by the occasional fluffy cloud. A cute day??? Mmm, she'd have to commit this scene to memory.
Heading down to the training grounds, she heard a rather funny "woof" sound. Oh! A dog. Kozachi was kinda muddle headed when it came to canines. On one hand, they could be so scary.~ What if one bit her?
On the other hand, they were so cute and fluffy, and those eyes... She decided to steel her nerves and go searching for the dog. This was going to be an adventure.
She jogged down to the bottom of the street and took a right turn. Ah, there it was! The cutest white pomeranian...
"Oh, dog-kun, s-stay right there!" She started running towards it. Divining her intention, the shopkeeper across the street shook his head silently. This girl... she really didn't know how to approach dogs, did she? Well, it was none of his business anyways.
In the meantime, Kozachi saw that the dog had started running away from her.
"N-no, dog-kun, wait up!" She dashed after it, making a turn down a rather sketchy looking alley. Of course, within all probability, nothing bad happened, and they dashed right out to the other side. Whew.... wait, this was the training grounds! Ah, Kozachi now remembered why she had come out in the first place. Right, she needed to get stronger. Looking regretfully at the dog, she gave off a pouting expression.
"Sorry, dog-kun... I'll play with you later, okay?"
With that, she walked into the training grounds. The dog snuffed about for a bit, then left, sauntering away on whatever errand.
Kozachi breathed in, and focused. Alright then, today were going to be body strengthening workouts! Sweet, she thought to herself.

She began stretching again, relaxing her body and getting her in the mood for training. Now then... where to start? Hm, alright, well if she was going to be doing most of her training using her body, why not start with the hands? She walked over to a post and slapped it.
Ouch. Maybe she shouldn't do that again. Against a human opponent, though, it would be great. She felt that she could probably do some sweet attacks with a mere slap, though physical blows like these weren't exactly her forte. Hmph, she would probably have to go and get herself a kunai or something to train with soon. She knew from watching survival shows that having a knife could easily double your chances of winning a-
Wait, no, life wasn't like that, right? Still, something told her that life wasn't all she would like it to be. Anyways, after a couple of hours of practicing taijutsu basic moves and sweating her butt off, she decided to throw in the towel and head back home for another break. She had made some progress today, so when she got home, she took a quick nap. Girls her age still needed daily naps, right? (No.)
"Lucky junior." Oh, this dream again. So weird, she thought to herself. What kind of self respecting ninja would dress like THAT? She felt that the oversized white thing that he was wearing didn't suit him, though she felt that it, too, looked familiar. Where had she seen this guy in the village before? It had to be in the village, since she'd never really left it in her lifetime.
"With a powerful spirit comes a powerful body. You aren't suited to this kind of training.... yet. Focus on what really matters to you right now, and I can guarantee with a 96 pecent certainty that you will become genin within the week. Of course, if you don't, then you only have your own bad luck to blame, but I don't believe in luck." Hah, that was funny, neither did she. But perhaps they meant different things, she thought to herself glumly.
Waking up, she realized that maybe, if she learned that mark seal jutsu, she could possible put it on that dog and track it down to play with it whenever she liked. Ah, if only she had thought of that before! Right, she hopped out of the door. It was now almost noon, and her stomach was rumbling with the need for a fantastic lunch. But, no hesitation! She walked back to the same spot, and lo and behold, there was the dog. Now, she snuck up on it, relying on her insights to prepare the jutsu. A concentrated spot of chakra, she thought to herself as she began to knead the energy within her body.
Reaching out to the dog, she tapped it, channeling her intent as hard as she could. Hmph, it worked! The dog shuddered at the touch of foreign chakra, and dashed away. Muguu~, how rude. She just wanted to play with a fluffy dog... Hmm, oh well. With enough training, she'd be able to find the dog again.
Heading home, she walked by an old, crumbling wanted poster on a wall. Turning her head, she looked at it, pondering for a bit. Where had she seen that face before? How weird... maybe in a dream or something?
