On her new path, she saw the surprise in Lord Raikage’s face and smiled. She did not care whether this smile was in surprise or in satisfaction, she would interpret it as one that is most beneficial to her own case. The most important fact was the one that her attack landed. It was a success.

However, this success was short lived as once she got her couple strikes in, Lord Raikage got in his own strike which was a jab straight to her side mid cycle. This jab flew her in the opposite due to the immense power of the Raikage, but it was another plan of hers. Once the jab connected, Beafōsu let out a huge shriek, loud enough to overshadow the 10 makibishi spikes she dropped in between where she would land and the Raikage.

Seeing Beafōsu fly towards her, Waizu no pō ran towards her general direction and let her hands go out and catch her. Of course she could not actually catch her, but her hands were there as some sort of cushion to make it seem as though her fall did not cause any damage. As she put her arms out, she was able to see the spikes fall and knew that they had to lure the Raikage.

Once Beafōsu was able to return to her feet, the Raikage commented on her will and of course, Beafōsu knew it was only important to respond with a, “It is in my blood sir. Now, let's get back to the fighting. I also want to play with you more. You may think you are in control. But it is more even than you think. How about you make the first move this time again?”

While Beafōsu was saying this, she was focusing her chakra to her fingertips and inserting the chakra into her back. She had to play it safe as she stimulated her nervous system. She would not be able to feel pain for a certain amount of time, and it was time to take some hits. (Chakra Anesthetic) (117/144 AP B)

As the female ninja reeled back through the air from the blow the kage noted the weapons leaving her and scattering themselves across the ground between them. Were these spikes, how had she even got these past the guards in the first place to be used. This was meant to be a taijutsu only proving grounds and now, it was so much more. As always a smile seeped in darkness covered his face as he looked down at the spikes and back up towards the his nin.

As he was about to step forward an alarm went off in the room as a red light beamed over it's entirety. looking up at the uncovered ceiling there were now sic chuunin proctors atop the wall looking down at the young woman with kunai and katana drawn. She had of course broken one of the rules and they were here to see to her swift punishment. Two of the proctors were forming hand seals that caused sigils on the walls to glow as sealing chains begain etching from the walls primed to wrap the young woman and her animal in bondage.

"Stop."

His single word could be heard over the alarm and the ninja yeling orders at his ninja to stand down and drop to her knees. Mortarion sighed as his posture switched to that of annoyance as he looked around at his proctors.

"This is your fault for allowing her to get these in here without checking her properly. The usage of these weapons will fall on your shoulders and I will speak to each of you in private about protocol. She used what was on her person to adapt to the changes and up her chances of coming out victorious, is that not what a ninja is meant to do? Be gone."

As he finished speaking the alarms were cut off instantly and the proctors had simply melded back into the shadows nowhere to be seen. His attention turned back to the woman and his steps continued towards her as he cared not for the spikes stepping on them one by one under foot of his armored boot. If allowed to close distance he'd begin with a right hook thrown to hit mid section at moderate speed and strength as his left swung around to hit the same location if the other connected.

Once Beafōsu fell into Waizu no pō’s arm, the Raikage tried to advance before something heart stopping happened. Sirens started to blare and the red lights started to flash enough to where Beafōsu got instantly dizzy and had to sit down. But then, six Kumo-nin, supposedly Chuunin or Jounin, rushed in from the ceiling and started to restrain her with jutsu she has never seen, while also having swords and kunai up to her neck. She had no idea what she did wrong, but whatever it was, it was something big.

Then, outside of all this loud commotion and the mini heart attack both her and Waizu no pō were having, she could only hear one voice boom over everything. It was the Raikage simply saying “Stop”. He continued on about how Beafōsu was only doing what Ninja should do and how it was indeed the procters fault for not taking away her weapons. Beafōsu could not have been happier. Not only did this mean she was going to be able to continue with her exam, but it gave her a perfect distraction to be able to focus chakra towards her fingertips to where she could poke at her back, subduing the pain she was about to feel (Chakra Anesthetic, still 107/144 AP B). She knew the Raikage would surely continue as if nothing was happening. In fact, he did not even flinch as he crushed the spikes under his foot. Beafōsu had to stand there and take what ever hit he was giving. As he swung in for the hook, Waizu was able to get behind him. After letting a couple of more hooks fill in, obviously not doing any damage to herself, both Beafōsu and Waizu no pō were able to form a single unique hand sign and take in a huge breath. They had activated their ace in the hole, the 1st stage of Seven Heavenly Breaths. (7HB) (87/144 AP B (172/204 AP W). White auras filled around her and then Beafōsu stopped one of the Raikage’s fist, picked him up, and threw him at an impending Passing Fang from Waizu (69 Spe/64 Str) (160/204 AP W).

As Mortarion moved in for the attack he of course watched for anything that would turn this into a less favorable position for himself. The chances of this happening however were slim to none as that was not this young ones test. There was something else he was testing her on and he needed to see how she dealt with them all. The first punch that he let loose was countered by the young woman moving behind him.

As he turned to face her once again the child was using a very foreign to him jutsu that seemed to involve taking in controlled air and expanding ones lungs. He wasn't using any of his dojutsu so all he had to go on was what he could make out from base looks. With his next punch coming in at the same strength he was noticeably taken back as she actually stopped the punch in her palm. His eyes clearly took a more quizzical look just before he felt his body's weight attempting to be altered.

" I don't think so."

His natural strength was still over the power that she had been given through this weird technique. Using the same arm she stopped he would attempt to lock fingers with her pulling her inwards. If successful he would rotate his body and fling her towards her animal once again. He wonder what the extent of this new jutsu exactly were.

As she was able to stop the punch that the Raikage flung at her, excitement filled her body. She was going to be able to fling the lord raikage into attack. She was going to be able to do damage to someone on the Kage level! Even looking at him, she knew the Raikage himself was surprised about what was happening. Well, at least she was going to be able to with her plan. Her plan was to grab his hand and be able to shift his weight to be able to throw him into a Passing Fang by Waizu no pō.

However, plans never work with Beafōsu, so of course, she had undermined the Raikage’s strength. Right when she was trying to throw him, he had locked her hand in his. A wave of shock went through her body. However, no pain was felt due to the Chakra Anesthetic. During this transition of power, the Raikage lifted her up and threw her against the wall near Waizu no pō. Of course however, Waizu no pō knew what Beafōsu had put on herself and decided to sidestep out of the way.

After falling, Beafōsu easily got up to stand in front of the Raikage. As she glanced over, a feeling of exhaustion started to fall over her face. Had she really been using this much of her energy all ready! She knew she had the ration pills, but whether to use them or not, she was clueless. Once she looked at Waizu, the whites of her eyes still being dominant, she nodded and told her to join her. Upon this, Waizu stood on her hind legs, and took a deep breath. She too had none this technique and Waizu would start to have a yellow aura also fill her body. (Seven Heavenly Breaths C Rank)

Then, once they were both powered up, they both ran straight to the Raikage and doing punishing punches all over his body. While Beafōsu focused on his head, Waizu no pō focused on getting his balance off by attacking his legs. (Several punches at 55 Spe/50 Str to face and 54 Spe/49 Str to legs, mainly at trying to move them to lose balance.) (67/144 AP B 172/204 AP W)

The Raikages strength was something to not be laughed at and it showed exactly why that was during this altercation. For each blow that these powered up genin attempted to land and set his balance off kilter was another instance his body lowered its form to strengthen it's defenses. Of course each shot that was launched towards his head was blocked with the correct amount of force to offset the young womans own balance tossing her arms aside with enough force to apply an almost ragdoll effect to her.

The bear was allowed to contines it's assault on his lower body as his form was firmly planted. The picture of this scenario was almost akin to a father playing with his children. He was of course teaching them the error of their ways but also enjoying the time he was having getting to see the growth of Kumogakure's ninja first hand. Sadly he'd have to end this soon as it wasn't what he was looking for anymore. His demeanor shifted to that of something more stern as his stance turn rigid and his eyes dropped to a dead stare.

"You're failing..."

Was all he said before striking out at her chest with a firm open palmed push. Hopefully she knew what this meant and altered her strategy accordingly. Kumogakure had no place for ninja that didn't play to their strengths.

This exam had started out great for Beafōsu and Waizu no pō. They were able to keep an equilibrium of power but with the jounin and chuunin throwing her off of her mindset and the behemoth of the Raikage tanking hits… she did not know what to do in the situation. Her latest barrage of attacks failed right when they initiated. The punches to the front were easily blocked away by the Raikage’s fast as lightning hands and the attacks on his balance from Waizu no pō, even from a powerful bear with an insane power boost in the form of the first stage of Seven Heavenly Breaths, were doing nothing against his firm stance.

Seemingly stopping in place, the Raikage had said one sentence that could ruin Beafōsu’s ninja career. Words that no ninja should ever want to hear. “You’re failing,” he said. It was in a demeaning voice. A voice so distinct and harsh that it brought back a memory from home. All she could hear was her father’s last words to her when she was exiled. She was being pushed out and the only sentence he said was “You failed”. The powerful words of the Raikage were not the only thing to set her off as he sent an open palm to the middle of Beafōsu’s simple flak jacket she had bought just the day before. The strike flung her to the closest wall and she fell, slumped against the wall in aching pain. Seeing as the situation and in turn, the priorities had shifted, Waizu no pō jumped off of her position from the legs of the opponent and jumped in front of Beafōsu, acting as a shield.

While still in their power form as the Breath hasn’t gone away, Beafōsu and Waizu no pō felt fatigued, Beafōsu more so than Waizu as Waizu had a higher stamina and had been doing less strenuous things. Grabbing into a pocket in her flak jacket, she recovered a small, minute black sphere and plopped it straight into her mouth. Just then, she was able to stand up with ease. Her eyes burst with energy and the marks around her body seemed to have lessened. Standing up and moving to the side of Waizu no pō, Beafōsu thought of ways to fix this route to failure. Surely it wasn’t a test on if she could win.. It was against the raikage for god’s sake, so what was it based off of. If it was determination, she should have been good. But then something clicked. The thing being tested had to have been related to her itself. If she were to take it into account, her teamwork with Waizu no pō seemed to be good so one category struck out. Ability to analyze the fight and not going in wild. At the beginning, she was doing fine at this, but once the Raikage made his first move towards Waizu no pō, it had been nonstop brawn and no brain.

“Lord Raikage,” she said, straightening her stance. “I believe you will change your mind.” All she and Waizu no pō would do is stand in the best stance, once again waiting for the perfect response to what the Raikage would do. The yellow aura’s still filled their bodies and the whites of the eyes were all that could be seen. They had regained their calm and that was what was going to make her pass. "Very well, last chance," the man rumbled, this time aiming for a swift low kick at the bear. It didnt take much to see her life resided in her animal, a weakness for all too see and exploit. Hurting the bear would get the swiftest reaction.

And unequivocally fail her. She had one chance to strike, now to see if she took it or wasted it.

If undefended, the kick would land on the bear, smashing bone and bringing the beast down in a pile of fur and blood.

As they were in their defensive positions, the pressure of failure started to weigh down on her. Her battle had been so calculated and now she couldn’t think of what to do. As her weight balanced in her position, it would soon be disturbed by once again another attack from the opponent. It was kick directed straight to Waizu no pō that would cause immense damage. Before the notion of losing her beloved friend popped into her mind, she did what any Chōkyōshi would do, no matter the animal they represented. Protect the animal before their own. While the feline and hawk ninja would evade the attack and the wolf ninja would through the attack off course, the bear tribes favored protection in the form of defense. They were calm and loving, always treating their cub as their own heart. The next movement was Beafōsu jerking her body to where Waizu was. In the likely chance that Waizu no pō couldn’t react to the kick, she would push her out of the way and have the kick hit her own Vest, protecting the majority of the damage. The leg connecting with Beafōsu’s stomach, she flew back and Waizu was falling to the side. Once Beafōsu’s momentum was stopped and she was able to stand up again, she immediately ran back in between the two others and got into another defensive stance. “That it?” were the only words she would say to the Raikage.

The man shook his head, unimpressed. It seemed the girl was even more ill prepared than he first thought.

"The more you defend that bear, the louder you scream your weakness to your enemy. Good ninja turn their animals into assets, you have turned yours into a liability. You now have a choice."

The kage paused, eyes narrowed into slits. "Go home, cry and then train until your bear is worth something. You can return when you feel ready." A dark glance at the duo. "Or you can stay here and fight - instead of babysitting your animal."
