Chuunin Exams: Exam 2

The "baby" you discover through your mind reading, was enginereed in a lab. It may have been human upon awakening but was introduced to drugs and stimuli that spoke to its violent tendencies. The child was introduced to puppetry on small birds and rodents first before moving on to humans.

To date, the baby has commited 38 murders and has been on death row since the new kage took over. Unfortunately, it possesses and turns into a puppet anyone who gets too close unawares. As many are want to do at the sight of a little baby.

As you read its mind, you feel the first sharp jab of a wire piercing your flesh.

Komon quickly began to understand why the baby was in such a position, it had been an experiment, and a dark one at that, bred and trained to kill. Komon watched in horror as he relived all thirty eight of the infant’s kills, looking at the lifeless expression on each ones face. This was no innocent child, what it had done was disgusting and it had shown no remorse for its actions. Komon continued investigating but while his attention was in the boys mind, the baby was already putting a plan into action.

Komon felt a wire pierce his through his left shoulder, and tear through, from watching the infants kills he knew that the child intended to turn him into a puppet with the outlook of this jutsu. He however would not go willingly his lightning javelin still active from his previous encounter he would not slash at the wire as he had done so in the past but rather grab the wire that was already in him and yank it backwards, causing the infant's body to fly towards him, as it did so Komon would use his other hand to slash at the incoming almost weightless baby with the kunai intending to decapitate it before it had the chance to retaliate.

You succeed in defeating your final foe. The walls around you start to recede, revealing a small opening through which you can see light and taste fresh air.

As the walls around him began to tumble down Komon looked at the bodies beside him, before today he had never taken a life, and now… Now he had taken five. At the end of the other chuunin exams there had been cause for celebration, however this time he felt no happiness, just relief that it was finally over. He sheathed his weapons and made a mental note to clean them when he got home before walking to the exit to complete his exam.
