God Save the Queen (and the Ayame!) [P, NK]

Nita and Ayame rose early. Two days ago they had announced the competitors and groups for the groups' portion of the Final exam and how they would work. To be quite honest, Ayame didn't stand a chance in her group... and Neither did Rei.

Although Ayame really disliked Rei, she knew that Rei could help her and that she may be able to help Rei. It was a long shot, but it was worth giving it a go.

Ayame left a letter (Big scarlet A (Just kidding)) taped to the outside of the door to Queen's Hotel Room Dressing Room.

There was no greeting on it, just a hastily but neatly scribbled note.

"We are both way outmatched in our Jounin Exams groups. If you are serious about moving on to the next level, meet me at the training grounds by no later than 10:00 am. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I'll work my hardest if you will, and I expect no less. -Anon"

She figured that if she signed her name the over-confident blonde would refuse to show, and that if she didn't talk as if she were on an equal level it would be too obvious as to who it was.

Ayame made her way to the training grounds, arriving a little bit before six am. The silence and serenity, as well as the coolness, was complete bliss to Ayame. Nita sat in her lap, focusing and meditating, as the tip of the sun began to peak beyond the horizon. Ah, what perfection.

After a few minutes of meditating, Ayame would stand up and walk over to a training dummy, prepared to learn a new move from her Jutsu encyclopedia. She first read about Leaf Gale.

Apparently, Leaf Gale was a simple and effective move that relied on the strength and speed of a user for damage. It is recommended (required) to learn Leaf Whirlwind first. Luckily for Ayame, Leaf whirlwind was already in her arsenal. Regardless, she continued to read. It was an easy Jutsu that most genin would know, at least those that prefer close range combat. Still, it wouldn't hurt to learn as many E and D rank just as she could. It would only give her more options to choose from.

Ayame placed the book back in her empty weapons pouch and focused her energy on performing Leaf Gale in succession to Leaf Whirlwind. First, she slowed her breathing, attempting to concentrate on her strength and speed. She feinted a kick above the dummy and then kicked a few times on the dummy about where the stomach would be.

Now that that was done, Ayame practiced the leg sweep now feeling slightly more powerful after her first move.

Her attack was pretty much on the mark, however, it still wasn't strong enough. If she kicked mich harder, she might hurt herself. Still, she continued, a succession of moves upon succession until she got it down-pat. Of course, it hadn't been easy, but she had accomplished the Jutsu pretty damn well. Though it would probably be a good idea to continue on.

Ayame looked innocently at the girl expecting a backlash. Confused by Queen's calmness, Aya's thoughts began to race. If it had angered her that would have been a good thing. It would have played to the advantage of getting Queen there.

Ayame shrugged calmly "I don't know, what does it say?" she asked with a smile and a slight airy chuckle. "Yeah, I did leave you a note. I figured if you knew it was me by either tone or writing, you wouldn't come. To be honest, I really need some help. I don't stand a chance. you have a better chance than me but I wouldn't hesitate to say things look pretty grim. I'm not meaning to offend or underestimate you, it's just that we are on unfamiliar turf against strong ninja, some of which we don't know."

"I'm sorry about the mission. I know I overreacted and handled things completely wrong," she muttered bowing apologetically. "I'm just a weak, lowly genin who cares too much," she said averting her gaze and being honest with herself.

Suddenly, Ayame met Queen's gaze directly, unafraid this time. "But, with your help, I think I can stand a chance, and I can teach you anything in my arsenal you wish to know, besides clan Jutsu for your upcoming battle," she said confidently.

"So please forgive me and take me on as your student!" she said perhaps slightly loud than her usual timid squeak. She bowed respectfully and remained in that position until Queen would react, receiving the brunt of whatever punishment the blonde saw fit for her stupid genin mistakes.

Ayame could hear her walking away, but remained in her position with Nita until Queen would either voice her approval, which she did, or deny Ayame, which is what Ayame had expected.

As Ayame lifted herself up to a normal stance, she heard Queen take off toward her and saw it too. She knew Queen would attack, but had no Idea how, so reacted with the only thing she could think to do: Body Flicker.

Ayame made the ram sign at a speed of 105, her max speed, preparing to body flicker before Queen got close. "You didn't say we were starting," Ayame said with a carefree chuckle just before she body flickered slightly to the left of herself and backward at a speed of 175 until she was effectively 20 meters away from Queen. Immediately thereafter she activated her Yureigan to keep an eye on her new superior, for the exams at least. She hoped that training her Yureigan to its full potential would prove useful in the exams as well.

Depending on what the blonde beauty did next, Ayame would move accordingly.



While the two had been conversing before Queen's attack, Nita made her way to the top of the Training Dummy Ayame had been Using to scope out what was happening.

Ayame smirked at Queen's gesture. She could already feel that this was going to be a fun, but hard-fought battle, between two completely opposite ninja. Already she could almost hear a crowd cheering for them both, not for a winner or a loser, just for an interesting match. And boy would this one be interesting. Ayame knew from her previous mission with Queen that she was a close range Taijutsu fighter, but not much else, so she stayed back attempting to keep her distance and observe as the chuunin had suggested.

This didn't, however, mean that she did not plan to attack. She took a moment to breathe and think, then made the hand sign of Tiger, before expelling a heavy mist from her mouth in a 50 meter radius (100 meter diameter). Unless Queen had a wind Jutsu in her arsenal, this mist would be sticking around for a long time. Ayame decided to make the mist heavy enough for there to be barely any visibility through it, almost as if it was a dream.

She could still see Queen, though, on account of how the Yureigan worked. She could see Queen's Aura in the distance. For the most part, it was a clear red, meaning she was competitive, energetic, and passionate. It was already a given, due to past experience, but interesting to find out she wasn't hiding anything, at least not for the moment.

Ayame could also see Nita's tiny aura just far enough away from queen's to not get mixed into it based on Ayame's sight. Nita's was a golden-yellow, meaning that she wanted to be treated like a Human.

After the mist took its form, Ayame would run at queen until she was about five meters away, again, and use Raiton: Jibashi! with the hand signs of boar, ram, snake, horse, and dragon, sending a large web of lightning burst forward at Queen (Scaled speed of 40, Scaled power of 40) extending into a cone as she kept an eye on both her companion and her opponent.

Queen stood still, letting the girl perform her next attack and Rei planed out what her next lesson would be through this spar. As the Genin performed the tiger hand sign, she expelled a heavy mist that flew out of her mouth, covering a large portion of the area around them. As much as the mist hindered her eye sight, she had to admit that the water particles felt nice against her skin. They were in the desert after all, not the most comfortable of environments. With that being said, The blonde would decide on leaving the mist be but had to take care of the fact that it was hindering her ability to see. Without a moment’s hesitation, The blonde beauty acitvated her Byakugan and with that, it all became clear.

Rei could now see her opponent clearly through the heavy mist. She had to admit, ever since finding out she came from the Hyuuga family and she had access to this Dojutsu, it had become extremely helpful. She only wondered what else she could learn through the arts of the Gentle Fist. Back to the fight, Ayame was closing the distance once more, heading towards the Taijutsu user at around a speed of 50. With the distance closing in to less than ten meters, she began forming a series of hand signs.

As the hand signs were being formed, The blonde entered her gentle fist stance, preparing for whatever technique Ayame was going to use. As the hand seals were finished, a stream of lightning came towards the girl at a speed of 40. With the technique coming at her, The girl expelled chakra throughout all her tenketsu points, also spinning her body in a clock wise rotation causing a dome of chakra to form around her. The speed in which it was formed was 60 and had a health and power of 40. The lightning attack would strike the dome and struggle to break through before the two techniques would cancel each other out. Upon this happening, Queen would leap forwards towards Ayame who was only about four meters out at a speed of 60 and launch a jab at a speed of 100 and 20 strength at the centre of her chest.

Ayame's thoughts raced. How the hell could Queen see her, the mist should allow for a Visibility of Zero. It didn't make sense. Thinking on her feet, Ayame began churning her chakra to release a poison mist.

Then as Queen began to run at her, Ayame felt a slight panic. If she could see Ayame, there was no doubt of Queen being a difficult opponent. Ayame put her hands up at a speed of 105 to block the punch, but get a nasty bruise on her arm. Subsequently, as soon as the hit landed on Ayame's left arm (at the time being reinforced by her right in an X fashion, Ayame moved her right hand at s speed of 105 and strength of 30, grabbing Queen's arm (hopefully), and spitting the Poison mist into her face, at a scaled speed of 55 and a power of 30 (so as to not kill queen).

Ayame would hang on as long as she could to Queen as long as she could without damaging her right arm.

After the mist had dispelled (as it only lasts 1 post) or was blown away, Ayame would let go and jump back at a speed of 63 and distance of a few meters to prepare herself for what was to happen next.

Queen began to notice Ayame’s chakra began to build up, clearly preparing to us some sort of jutsu. She wasn’t sure what it was though, but she knew she had to prepare herself. With Queen running up to the girl, and launching her jab, the Genin blocked her punch by putting her hands in the X formation. It was a good thing the blonde hadn’t gone full strength or it may have broken the girl’s bones. Upon launching her punch and letting it get blocked, Queen took quick notice of the girl reaching to hold onto the girl, surely so that she would not try to escape the blast zone of whatever technique she was preparing. While the blonde taijutsu user could easily out strength the girl and possibly toss her across the training field, where would the fun in that be? The beads around Queen’s free arm glowed momentarily as her armour took for across her whole arm.

Just as Ayame began to release the toxins from her mouth, Queen would have place her armoured hand across the Genin’s mouth, grabbing her at a strength of 50, as the armour began to suck up the toxins and breaking the attack into chakra that it now absorbed and turned it into raw energy. The energy was hen converted to chakra that the blonde would consume. Once all of the toxins were sucked up, Queen would counter the hold the Genin had and toss the girl across the training field approximately thirty feet away. The throw was strong enough so that the girl couldn’t quite counter but weak enough so that she could catch herself before making contact with the ground.

“Not bad Ayame, I may have been wrong about you…” Queen said with a smirk on her face. She was actually quite impressed with the tactics the Genin has showed so far. If this is what she would bring to the table then maybe she could stand somewhat of a chance in her bracket. Although, if she recalled correctly, one of her opponents would be Maloren Hyuuga, a ninja Queen knew and would be no easy competitor. “I’ll give you one more chance before I show you what I’m really made off…” The girl said calmly. She had been taking it easy on the brunette up to now, but that wasn’t a mercy her competitors would show her in the exams. If Ayame was going to learn what she was up against, Queen would have to show her.
