Kenshin’s emotionless gaze would pierce the young Namikaze for what seemed to be months, at least it seemed to be that long to the two of them, to everyone else it would have only been a few seconds before the young Genin began to speak. “Yeah...I understand...I need to learn this...I would much appreciate it if you could teach me, Mr. Kenshin.” the chestnut haired young woman would say as she bowed down to the alabaster skinned Chunin. ‘Hmm...maybe she is not as hopeless as I thought’ Kenshin would think to himself with a small smirk on his pale lips, he had honestly expected her to decline his offer so that she could continue to live in her delusional little world. “I am glad that you understand the importance of learning this lesson Miss Namikaze, it truly will be one of the most important things that you can learn in this life.” Kenshin would say as his smirk grew a tad larger. “Now unfortunately I am unsure when we will be able to do this, I have been quite busy with missions as of late. And based on your performance in the fight with Ayato I am quite sure that you will be receiving a rank up, so you will more than likely be busy as well.” Kenshin would say as his smirk turned into a small, contemplative frown.

“I will try to find some time to spare so that I can teach you this lesson, but I make no promises of it being any time soon.” Kenshin would say as his frown faded, once more leaving his face completely free of emotion. “On that note though I shall take my leave, good day Miss Namikaze, once again congratulations on your rank up” Kenshin would then say, giving the girl a nod before he began to walk back towards the main portion of the village. Whilst her ‘masterful performance’ turned out to be nothing more than the dumb luck of a little girl she had, at the very least, performed well enough in combat to gain the rank of Chunin, at least in his opinion...even if her style of combat was a little too flashy for his tastes.

Hikari would tilt her head a little bit as Kenshin said this. This battle wasn't the final requisite for ranking up... it was just one of the various exams to prove one is ready. The Genin still had to write a report on another village before she was allowed to rank up, that is, presuming she had passed the mission....

"Well, thanks for the vote of confidence, but I should probably go back and find out for sure whether or not I am going to pass or not, I kind of doubt it.... seeing how all I did was run around, and did one attack the entire fight. But thanks! I hope to be seeing you soon Mr. Kenshin!" With that, the genin would turn to head back toward the arena, in order to get the official ruling as to wether or the girl had passed this portion of the Chunin exam.
