Senshi beats the hell out of Komon V2

Komon hadn’t done much since he had arrived back home, truth be told the fight with the bijuu had exhausted him. Today he had gone out to his usual training ground in an effort to get in some basic taijutsu training, he had gone through the simple daily routines that most gennin would find themselves doing, kicking a wooden post for hours on end and all that. Sure the practice may have seemed a bit mundane to most people, but Komon knew better than most that practice of the basics was a key part in becoming a talented shinobi.
 
After all at the age of eight he had tried to rush things, picking up the art of throwing kunai to fast, and with a simple mishap had left a permanent scar on his right eye. Yes… The basics would do just fine. After he had bullied the hell out of the wooden post for a couple of hours he’d look around the field to see four completely destroyed ones, and the one in front of him lucking like it was about to crumble into dust and shrivel away.
 
“Alright maybe it’s time for a break” He’d think to himself as he fell backwards onto his back, in the soft green grass that surrounded the training field. This left his eyes looking upwards, his eyes resting on the soft blue blanket of a sky, his breaths heavy and sweat dripping down his brow.
 

“I think I might be out of shape” He’d say to himself as he closed his eyes for a short break.

Senshi would be proud to know that Komon had decided to work from the basics on up, it was a point that he often made whenever he trained someone. Something he always reminded himself of as well. Starting from the ground up, building your basics to a masterful level and then progressing was just the best way to improve yourself as a shinobi. People who rushed it often hurt themselves or others, and in Senshi’s opinion, were often weaker than those who took the slower way. After all as his dead uncle had often said, Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Shinobi wanted to be fast, and know their techniques and abilities inside and out.
 
So Komon finally got a mild point of respect, well I guess it wasn’t finally since he had done well during the bijuu battle. That was two mild points of respect, so Komon was moving up in Senshi’s world. Guess that would have to be changed, couldn’t let the Chuunin think he was going soft on him after all. That would be, bad. With this now in mind, we return to our regularly scheduled programming. Senshi was in the training grounds on a nice little run. His armor glistened in the sunlight that filtered through the trees, a nice soft breeze blowing Senshi’s hair and beard slightly. A perfect bay watch slow motion running movement, except he was wearing a lot more clothes. He should be in a speedo for this.
 
Alas he wasn’t and as he ran, Senshi heard the light thunks of flesh hitting wood. He instinctually let loose a pulse of chakra surprised to feel Komon, he turned his body allowing his feet to guide him until he entered the training ground that Komon was working in. He looked the young man over, as he heard his final words. What. The. Ever. Living. Fudgesicles. No Chuunin was going to get out of shape on his watch. No siree. They were at war and Kumo required all of the fighting ability that it could possibly posses. Senshi’s eyes narrowed slightly and a huff of hair escaped his nostrils, much like an angered bull about ready to charge. All of this took mere moments, less then three second to happen, and with it Senshi’s deep voice echoed through the clearing.
 
“Out of shape?” He was walking forwards now, closing the distance between him and Komon. “You are a chuunin of Kumogakure, the greatest village ever known. You are supposed to be an shining example of power, strength, and raw ability to the new Genin. You do not simply get out. Of. Shape.” He enunciated his words carefully stopping his movement forwards and standing about fifteen meters from Komon. Those mild respect points, yea they had just disappeared. “Let us spar Komon. I saw some of what you could do during our battle with the Bijuu, but if you feel you are getting out of shape that I shall assist you. You will be a finely sharpened sword, prepared to cut through our villages enemies.” Senshi’s hands lifted slightly poised to move once Komon accept his offer for a spar.
 

“Begin whenever you are ready.” He mask was no where in sight, having been placed in his little pocket storage dimension. But his Maku cultist armor hid his flamingo necklace, and his ear sparkled slightly with his piercing of swiftness. His Kumo issued contact lenses barely noticeable in his eyes. His dagers, the ones that had knocked the three tails out on his hips, and Gureto on his back, with a heavens sorrow ninjato also placed on his hip. He was outfitted for war, like a true shinobi of Kumogakure.

Was the first thought that would come into Komon’s mind as he heard the familiar voice of Senshi Kobayashi. The jounin was probably his closest friend in the village but my god was it awful to be caught slacking by the man.
 
It appeared that senshi wanted to spar in an effort to kick komon into shape but he suspected the spar would only kick him unconscious. Picking himself off of the ground he’d walk over to his bag while agreeing to senshi’s challenge. He needed to get some practice in anyways, unzipping the bag he’d reveal baransu, the suit he had worn in the battle with isobu, the three tailed beast. And he’d slip it on relatively fast.
 
Attached to the waste of baransu was his custom made  sword, shinigami.. It's blue and black steel would glimmer as Komon drew it from its  sheath and his free hand would rise to his neck in unison touching the sandy side of his assimilate necklace.
 

“Ready as I’ll ever be” He’d say while his byakugan flickered into activity.

Oh Komon wanted to use boosters? Well he was gonna regret that, Senshi was going to happily do this fight without using any of his S ranks, but whatever. Komon over there wanted to be big bad sandy. How must it feel to have sand not only down his pants but infesting every crevice he had. Likely very uncomfortable and Senshi didn’t want to think of the rashes the boy must get from it. Well that was his fault for failing to ensure he had to minimum health stat required to pass Senshi’s tattoo seal check and being perhaps the unluckiest person in the universe to lose to one in six odds.
 

Still Senshi watched as Komon rose his hand to touch his necklace, at the same time he charged chakra into his seals, suddenly his hair and beard began to move around more than it had been in the light breeze. His body began to crackle as electricity ran up and down his body, sparking off his armor brightly. Senshi really wanted to say ‘come at me bro’ but alas he was the epitome of professionalism and instead only raised his right arm to wrap his hand around the hilt of his sword. Spreading his legs slightly he prepared to leap into action as he felt the power of his seal flowing through his body now.

With that happening Senshi turned and started to run to the side, he would need a moment to build up to his full speed. (Speed 60 Right now)

Senshi’s opening move was unsuprising, but effective. It was common practice to gain speed before a fight nowadays. Komon couldn’t help but remember his fight with youka back in the day when he was still a gennin. He had thought it smart to run along the side of the wall to gain speed, and the raikage had quickly shut him down by driving him towards a wall. Senshi however was not locked in a five by five room and had plenty of room to run.
 
In a split second desicion Komon decided that it would be best to run alongside him, after all the two specialized in close combat. There was no point in trying to change this into some kind of ranged contest, his feet would dig into the ground and he’d run at a slightly faster pace than senshi. (90 speed, 100 speed + 70 speed from assimilate + 10 from byakugan half that to get 90)
 
However Senshi had gotten the headstart so he’d be following closely behind and gaining speed, If senshi did nothing to stop it Komon would start with a 64 palms attack, launching the first two of a 64 chain attack to senshi’s back at the moment he closed the distance to one meter.

Senshi’s feet beat a rhythmic beat on the ground as he took off moving to gain some momentum. Yes there were reasons why doing this could be bad, but at the same time, there were reasons why doing this were also good. What everything countred on was if Senshi could make all the good reasons work on his favor. Or well Komon needed everything to go his way. Chances are neither scenario was going to be happening. It would likely fall right down the middle. With some of Senshi’s plans going his way, and some of Komon’s plans interfering and messing up Senshi’s plans.
 
None of that mattered now, for the only thing that mattered was that Senshi get back in touch with his warrior side and turn Kumo inside out. And then obviously heal him so that they could still have a capable Chuunin, almost Jounin, in their forced still. No point in killing good shinobi that fought on your side after all. Senshi twisted his chakra as Komon moved to close the gap between them, by this point his own speed had increased enough that he was moving at the same speed.
 

Now they were both likely excellerating at the same speed, Senshi ducking under branches, twisting over logs and purposefully throwing them into Komon’s path with his superior strength. Nothing to really cause much damage but something that could prove nicely distracting. As Komon moved forwards to start his sixty four palms, Senshi chakra finshed twisting two wind arrows appearing in his hands that he let loose throwing at Komon’s hands as he continued to run through the woods, a light smirk on his face. The wind Arrows were aimed straight for Komon’s hands just as Senshi put on his final burst of speed giving him the slight edge in this little speed battle now.
