Re: Another Brick in The Wall [P/IO/Miyamoto]
Tue Jul 18, 2017 3:03 pm
Miyamoto watched Satomi move as he managed to widen the gap between them b another half a meter. The rain seemed to stop as if the gods knew the battle that was about to take place, and the nervous look of Satomi’s face connected it all together. There were no words exchanged between the two boys, today it was all about action, and as Satomi made the first move, his speech seemed to change before he flipped backwards and launched his attack. It was not fast, and Miyamoto saw right through it as the boy clapped and caused a monolith to rise from the ground as he was cast into a shadow. The trick was impressive, but slow and lacked style, So as he was then told to go ahead Miyamoto picked up a stone from the earth as he performed a one handed tiger seal, the stone tuned to from a rock section cane, his signature melee weapon. He would chuck the cane into the air with as much force as he could causing it to speed up the monolith, with 190 speed in seconds before soaring overhead.
Taking that Satomi might have been distracted by the technique Miyamoto would use the hiding like a mole technique to burrow into the monolithic structure before him. As he would sense where Satomi was he would move at the full speed the technique could offer him, 40 speed to jump out of the monolith behind the boy before swinging a punch with the speed of 25, and power of 20, aimed directly for the chest of his student. If the blow were to connect, it would most likely send the boy off the monolith.
Miyamoto having no intention actually killing his student would watch this, knowing that the kid would have to have something up his sleeve to help hi in this case. The next attack would be something a bit more dangerous. As Miyamoto would make a one handed snake seal as the sweat and water on his left hand would turn almost a red color before being flinging five 2 centimeter lava bullets at a speed of 24 and a power of 24 into the general direction of the boy. Should he land safely and evade in time, he would be able to escape. However, if he was less fortunate than he would be caught in the trap as the lava bullets would begin to eat through the clothes the kid had on.
Miyamoto would stand atop the monolith and look down before whistling down at Satomi. “Man I thought you were stronger than this, come on show me what you can do...for real this time.” He would say as before hopping down from the monolithic structure.

The rod of stone did just what it was intended to do as Satomi shifted himself to avoid the rock section cane as it sailed dangerously close on it's way to orbit as it flew right on by, in that brief moment he had managed to lose sight of the chuunin as he disappeared into the pillar of earth that Satomi had constructed. Unfortunately for Miyamoto may had unexpectedly trained the child to sense out chakra around him, his feet shifted again in anticipation as the older boy's impressive chakra would betray him and give away his location beneath Satomi's feet. He refused to move however and opted to show his sensei yet another new trick as his chakra began to surge with his confidence as the chuunin emerged from the surface of the platform like a rabid mole on attack. In that moment Satomi felt that something was off, he had always imagined Miyamoto would be faster.
He wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth though as he allowed the older boy to connect with his punch should he choose to go through with the attack, if he does and the strike connects the genin's naturally strong vitality (Health: 45) would allow him to mostly shake off the attack only to recoil with a small step backwards as he reached out with his left hand at full speed (100) to touch Miyamoto's chin and almost playfully adjust his head so that the pair would lock eyes. Should Satomi be successful, Miyamoto would fall victim to the blue-eyed boy's paralyzing ninjutsu, his entire body would be overwhelmed and heavy as if though it were bound by the strongest material he could imagine.
Should he succeed in trapping Miyamoto in his chakra he wouldn't have the chance to unleash his lava, instead leaving the genin to give him one of his brightest, most adorable gap-toothed smiles to date as he brought back an old favorite and the first technique his sensei had taught him. Satomi snatched up a rock from the top of the platform the pair were perched upon to flash a single-handed tiger seal to produce a rock section cane of his own with his speed of 100.
“Bye-bye birdy~” Satomi's voice was almost tooth-decayingly sweet as his melodic words enjoyed the accompanied backup vocals from the forest avian residents. He just really hoped he wasn't about to overestimate his mentor as he swung for the fence at the full speed (10) and power (10) that the rock section cane permitted, his aim right across the the chest of the older boy should it connect.

As Satomi moved it seemed as though the kid had indeed been training on his own when not around Miyamoto, and that was good...Miyamoto hated to fight someone that could not keep his attention as his blow connected and Satomi flicked his head upwards he felt a wave of chakra pulse throughout his body, as Satomi took the second to jump back and move quickly to reproduce another rock section cane Miyamoto stood still knowing that what Satomi had done was probably relying on that he was caught in some sort of trap. He was able to read the swing easily enough before moving his head just at the time of the swing to catch the cane with his mouth before biting down quickly, causing the rock cane to shatter as Miyamoto moved as fast as he could, Speed 105, to try and grab Satomi by the wrist. If he did he would look at his student before spitting out the rock to the monolith floor below them.
“Close, but no cigar.” Miyamoto would say before launching hard hard kick with the power and speed of 40 to the chest of the young Genin. If he would connect it would surely send the boy flying.
“You won’t win with cheap tricks…” He continued as he looked at Satomi.
Of course if he was countered then he would he would make the snake hand seal as fast as he could,Speed 105, before touching Satomi,at the same speed, using the added weight technique with a power of 50 to immobilize the young kid at the top of the monolith. Of course if this was successful he would just stand there over his student.
“Sometimes, especially when fighting other shinobi, the close range is effectively the worse range you could be in, unless you are prepared to die for it.” He would say regardless of the attack hitting or missing.

Did he seriously just bite his staff in half? Satomi watched in disbelief as his rock section cane shattered between the chuunin's teeth as half of the stone rod continued on with the follow through to tumble at high velocity off into the distance. Satomi chucked the remaining 15 centimeters of the stone rod to the side, distracted by the utter failure that was Satomi only just managed to catch sight of the chuunin's left thanks to his honed reflexes (RT:160, SPD 100) allowing him to narrowly avoid taking the kick to the chest as he stumbled back away from his raised boot sole. The genin wouldn't come away unscathed however as he was hit with a much quicker attack, even with his incredible reflexes the older boy just edged him out as he landed the touch squarely on his chest. The startled child took a few additional steps back to increase the distance between them by another quarter meter while bringing himself dangerous close to the edge has his body quickly grew to be unbearably heavy. Satomi's eyes were of pure panic as his body refused to move at all no matter how much his muscles tensed and twitched, begging to move.
Now way! M-My body, it won't move! Stomi's utter surprise was written all over his face as the gravity of the situation sunk in. Is he using genjutsu now!? He continued to struggle as his mind frantically tried to make sense his predicament. There was so much that he didn't know about his sensei, his last name being one, but more importantly he had agreed to fight with Miyamoto while only having the slightest hint of his abilities. What the heck am I going to do!? The more he thought about it as the older boy stood there almost smug in his triumphant, the more frustrated the young genin would get. He had tried so hard and now in an actual fight with a real chuunin, who he was expected to be every bit as good as, had him at his mercy.
Satomi's fearful eyes began to grow glossy as tears welled below them, how was he suppose to be the best if he couldn't even match blows with the boy before him. Even without needing hand seals the genin would quickly learn that whatever it was that he was trapped in wasn't genjutsu as the jutsu would go unaffected by his attempt to dispel it. His panic and frustration only grew at the realization that he was dealing with something like his own Temporary Paralysis Technique, just so much stronger. He was going to have to give up, what else could he even do at this point? It was just like on the day he first met Miyamoto, Satomi had been tied to a post used for target practice by some bullies at the academy. The very idea of having to concede and be humiliated again made the young boy sick to his stomach. His mind would suddenly snap back to early however, to what Miyamoto said before the match started.
If you do not fight as if you are to die...then you will always lose Satomi The words rang in his head as he grunted and tried to force himself free of his invisible bondage. It was of course useless and just continued to frustrated the embarrassed shinobi, but for whatever reason he refused to give up. Perhaps it was the words sinking in, in fact that was exactly what it was as he blinked away the tears. His eyes sharped and grew focused as he narrowed them at the older boy, he didn't need hand seals for what he was about to do as his chakra flared up around his body. If left to continue the boy would strip the earth from under his feet and collect it in a thick layer across the entirety of his body, bolstering both his strength and health by 30. His enhanced stats (HP: 75, STR: 60) allowing the genin to shed the weight of Miyamoto's jutsu and letting him leap take a few steps back towards the edge of the platform as he stared down the older boy before he backed right off. He wasn't just going to free fall however as he focused his chakra into his hands and feet as he placed them against the side of the spire to slow his decent.
He wasn't merely retreating however a his chakra output would only continue to rise as be pushed through his limbs and out into the the earth, his ethereal essence would travel throughout the entirety of the earthen structure and bring the pillar alive with tremors. The length of Satomi's efforts with his training would be put on full display as the pillar would suddenly come to life directly under Miyamoto's feet. Forming at a speed of 80, a massive set of jaws were forged around the chuunin from the earth and stone from under him. The increasingly scaly construct strengthened greater than the sum its parts by genin's own chakra coursing through it's colossal body.
If this would be allowed to happened the gaping maw would move at a speed of 80 in an attempt to snap shut around Miyamoto as Satomi descended the forming body of the draconic beast, the earthen dragon tearing the rest of its 30 meter body free from the forest floor. Satomi's eyes would burn as bright as the hottest star as stood up and watched the chuunin, if the beast born from earth was successful its jaws would proceed to crush his opponent with a power of 80. However, if it got this far and Miyamoto avoided becoming a snack the dragon would react to the genin's control over it and attempt to run ahead long into the older shinobi. The choice was fight to kill or lose, then he was going to fight to kill. Satomi refused to lose after everything he put himself through.

Miyamoto looked at Satomi with cold eyes. He dodged one attack to be caught in another, the added weight technique could cause great damage if Miyamoto did it right, he held back though again...and it was his fault that he was in the predicament he currently found himself, atop the pillar with Satomi proving that he had grown to become strong, perhaps even more so than he. To recap…
As Satomi stood there, his eyes in complete disbelief of what Miyamoto just did. He did hold back, not wanting to harm his student, despite what he told him at the beginning of the fight. When the earth seemed to react and form a secondary layer over Satomi,Miyamoto cracked a smile as Satomi seemed to fall from the pillar. It was a great distraction and feat to overcome the added weight technique, but it seems that he would just have to put more effort into the next one. However, before Miyamoto could walk to the edge a great tremor began to travel up the pillar. As the top exploded and by a set of massive jaws, that seemed a bit slow, began to close over him Miyamoto would perform the hand seals at his maximum speed to activate the Temple of Hephaestus technique.
The jaws of the stone serpent closed on him as he was able to push off. Instead of being crushed by the teeth of the dragon Miyamoto had transformed, black as night with a pulsing almost ethereal red demonic glow under his skin and eyes as steam began to roll off of him as if he was at a sauna. The teeth broke against his skin managing to cut him with superficial cuts and a few deeper gouges, now with a health of 125, as he sighed before using his newfound strength, of 90, to pry apart the jaws of the beast, before jumping from the beast with all his might. Taking a rock in each hand he would then jump from the beast’s jaws as he would land near the opening where he began the battle. He tossed the rocks up in the air before catching them and pocketing them for later use as he looked to his student.
“Then if that’s the way it has to be…” He started as he got into the defensive stance from earlier.
“Then show me what you can do with that power of yours? The shy kid I once saw looks to be slowly perishing to the new you, now come Satomi. I want to see what other surprises you have left.” He taunted the kid again as he did not make a move besides breaking from the beast’s jaws.

He watched as Miyamoto even managed to escape the jaws of a beast as fierce of Satomi's Earth Dragon, it was surreal that someone could have so much power as to simply prey themselves out of an otherwise crushing defeat. The young genin just stared awestruck as the chuunin landed with a telling thud ten meters from him, his darkened skin giving his sensei an eerily demonic presence as the pair shared glares. Satomi's own blue gaze continued to blaze almost as brightly as the Miyamoto's own eyes glowed, he was put off but not deterred by the boy's changed appearance. The pair were more similar than the child even knew, he had a hunch that the new look was not just for show, but to what extent would be a mystery. Regardless his own body was still reinforced by the earth that gave him his own darkened appearance and he still had his dragon, lest his opponent forget.
Satomi's hands trembled, he didn't know how Miyamoto compared to the strongest ninja, but he was beginning to understand that he had a long way to go before he could even humor the notion of being the best. Even if he didn't know what kind of strength his sensei truly possessed he wasn't going to go down on a whimper.
“Kill or die!” For an instant darkness shown through the cracks that had formed as he spun Miyamoto's earlier words, stress fractures caused by all the pressure he had been putting on himself. For that moment Satomi was something else, what that was wasn't quite apparently, but he was ready to end the fight if he could. As a vessel of his whim, the dragon quickly swung it's massive body around and began to speed right towards Miyamoto like a plummeting meteor (SPD: 80). The beast baring chipped and cracked teeth fearlessly as the boy sent it barreling in for the kill shot—or so it seemed.
He may have been inexperienced, but he learned quickly and was already thinking ahead. He knew that Miyamoto could already counter his dragon, but he could at least hope to use it as a distraction as he sent it on a suicide run against the chuunin. Hopefully such a large target would pose as a sufficient distraction to allow Satomi to the top of a nearby tree at a speed of 50 retreat to double the distance between them at 20 meters before he—if uninterrupted—would speed though a pair of hand seals as his soaring chakra circulated. Boar → Tiger—he picked out a spot right below Miyamoto's feet as the dragon of earth and stone would bare down on him with all it's might (PWR: 80). The ground quickly melted away leaving the chuunin without a solid surface and potentially be swallowed up by the murky mud plane spreading out in a 5 meter radius around Miyamoto and a startling 6 meters deep, if Satomi got his way the beast would release a deafening roar that would fill the forest far and wide as it crashed into Miyamoto to send them both into the depths of the swamp.
The young genin could only watch as his rate of breathing increased and his heart tried to beat right out of chest, his eyes moving quickly as the scanned across the field and watched the scene unfold. He chewed on his bottom lip, his mind hyper focused and perhaps even plotting ahead should his move to end the fight fail.

Re: Another Brick in The Wall [P/IO/Miyamoto]
Thu Jul 20, 2017 2:10 pm
Miyamoto knew that his student was giving it his all, so he thought it was finally time to show him what he could do as well. He had to admit, the stone dragon was something of a mystery as it still moved, but it was strong enough to cause some damage if he was not careful. As he watched Satomi quickly dash to retreat he came up with a different conclusion in his head. Was his student really running from a fight he seemed so invested in before. Not on his watch he wasn’t, and as the dragon closed in Miyamoto made his move. Moving at his top speed he would make the ram seal before a cloud of smoke would signify his disappearance. He would move at a total of 195 speed as he body flickered just behind Satomi where he looked quickly, seeing that the dragon slammed into what looked like a dangerous black swamp. While continuing the strike as he slammed his flat of his hand into the center of Satomi’s back with 85 strength and 100 speed, his vulcanized hand smashing through trying to send the gening flying towards his own attack and hopefully break through his defenses.
If he was successful he would pull his hand back from the strike as his palm smoked as if he was done with the fight. He would watch to see if Satomi avoided his own trap or not, and if he did Miyamoto would smile like he usually did when Satomi saw him, except the form he held now would make him seem more sinister as he would take a step towards the young boy before finally speaking.
If he was unable to avoid his own trap, Miyamoto would let him sink in till only his hand was out of the swamp before pulling the kid out and flinging him towards the wall where he once was. Looking at him before finally speaking.
“The extent of your abilities show me you can start a fight, and keep it up with your techniques, but your finisher is too slow if your opponent is not already preoccupied. Try again?” Miyamoto would say teasingly, his voice not his own, as if he really was the demonic visage he currently held.

Satomi watched as his dragon slammed into the black muck, the impact sending the viscous soil high overhead. For a moment it would rain again, but mud rather than water would shower the forest as Satomi face stretched with a triumphant grin as he watched the dragon, and for as much as he would be able to tell, Miyamoto be dragged into the earth below as they were slowly devoured by the hellish swamp. For Satomi this meant that his Earth Dragon jutsu would finally come to an end, equally matched with the force of the Swamp he allowed the beast to return to slumber. The 30 meter serpent-like monster quickly cracked and crumbled into lifeless rock and earth as it returned to the earth via the swampland he had created.
Unfortunately for the genin all was not what it appeared to be as his sensei appeared behind him as if by magic, even his well trained ninja reflexes wasn't enough for him to spot his movement until he was already behind him. His ability to quickly react however did allow him just enough time to spin around and get his arms out in front of him at a matched speed with the chuunin (SPD: 100), his chakra focusing into his limbs as he did all he could to reinforce his limbs and brace for the strike.
Satomi had never felt such pain before as he was subsequently was quickly removed from his perch and tumbled through the air until he had his own violent splashdown, his uncontrolled decent sending him a promptly under the surface in an instant. The entire forest fell silent in that moment, Miyamoto could almost hear the whiff of smoke wafting from his hand. As for the genin, the world had grown silent for him as well as he slowly sunk into the murky depths. His earthen armor disintegrated and was absorbed by the muck that enveloped him.
I've trained so hard, I've broken bones... I almost died for this. And he's-- Now, it wouldn't end like this. At the very least he refused to be done in by his own jutsu. The swamp began to shrink and dry out, it's depths growing more swallow which would aid in pushing Satomi back to the surface. A sharp gasp escaped from him as he attempted to reintroduce fresh air to his lungs, his entire arm felt like one giant bruise as he lifted it to wipe the mud from his face. Though he suppose it could have been worse, if not for the added reinforcement of his Earth Spear they might have ended open shattered.
It was still a possibility that they were broken however as the boy howled out in pain as Miyamoto grabbed his wrist and slung him into the very wall he had placed before the beginning of the fight, the boy coughed a thick spat of phlegm saliva on impact. Without his earthen armor to protect him this time he'd feel it all, the wall and his sensei's words as he approached him with some additional advice.
“W-Would you con--” His words were interrupted by a heavy wheeze. “Consider this an interruption?” Satomi grinned as he hoped his short existence was worth it as an second Satomi appeared 5 meters behind Miyamoto using his own body flicker technique boosting his own speed to 200, looking just as worse for ware as he slung a kunai at his full speed of 105. The blade had a primed explosive tag wrapped around the hilt. The Satomi on the wall was just a cleaver ploy by the boy, a clone created while he was enjoying a mud bath. The clone would reached out as quickly as he could (SPD: 100) to reach out with both arms to Miyamoto, if successful he would wrap himself around his opponent.
There was no doubt in the clone's mind that he was much weaker than the chuunin, much more so now than before. It didn't matter just so long as he could keep him occupied long enough for the other Satomi to rapidly perform a set of hand seals. Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger: If successful in his move, the one kunai suddenly became one thousand, all primed with their own explosive tag, all traveling at the original's speed towards Miyamoto and the shadow clone. If otherwise unaware, the swarm could be mistaken for genjutsu. There were however every bit as real as the original other than the fact that they were shadow clones, but if nothing was done Satomi would prematurely set the swarm of kunai off once they were within 15 centimenters of Miyamoto and Satomi's shadow clone. The result would be one thousand angry exploding kunai in a wall around older boy and clone of the younger one. Each explosion would be one meter from the origin point, traveling outward at a speed of 50 with a power of 50.

Miyamoto stood there watching as his student seemed to contemplate all of what had happened this spar. He had to admit, he was being a bit too tough on him, but he wished he had this kind of a teacher as he learned, only when he became a chuunin did he find a suitable teacher in the form of an earth chakra school. When Satomi made the ram seal, Miyamoto knew what was about to happen as he reacted quickly, activating the mind's eye of the kagura as fast as he could before he was grabbed by another set of arms,he would notice the real Satomi above him as he had most likely used a shadow clone just like he had shown him near the first meeting.
Moving at his top speed he would activate the seals for the Demon Lantern technique as Miyamoto would send five heads out from his central location at a speed of 70 with a power of 70 as he would have them detonate the moment that they would hit their target, the kunai. The resulting blast from each explosion of the demon heads would be 1.2 meters carrying a force of 70, thus creating a concussive force to disrupt the remaining weapons coming at him as the surrounding area between Miyamoto, the Satomi Clone and the walls would become pockmarked from the force of the explosions. If Satomi’s clone were to be damaged enough to despawn then Satomi would know that what Miyamoto said as soon as Satomi clung onto him.
“You were excellent, you will become the best...surely.” He would have said as the Demon Lanterns were going going about to their destination.

Satomi stumbled forward a few steps as he landed flat on his feet, the boy just watched in disbelief as Miyamoto continued to defy his attempts to defeat him. The genin wasn't immune from the affect of the blast either as he a chunk of woodland debris caught him across the creek, but he couldn't be bothered to react to it as the shallow wound produced a thin thread of crimson. The boy just panted as he stood in silence as his clone disappeared in the usual puff of smoke they were none for, the real Satomi a stature as his eyes glistened over as tears welled under them.
The chuunin's words had reached Satomi's ears by proxy through his now expired shadow clone. There was no end to the praise he would hear from his father, but this is the first time someone else, someone who wouldn't need to feel obligated to, had said such a thing to him. After all the hard work the boy had put in towards reaching this point and only to be unable to beat him, his sensei still would recognize. Satomi's hands trembled as he lifted them, but there would be no hand seals this time as he slowly lifted them to wipe his eyes.
“I... can't even beat you.” Satomi whimpered. Even if he was a shinobi, he was still a child and more than capable of falling to his emotions. His frustration and anger faded and with it his chakra simmered and settled, maybe just hearing that he could do it. To hear that he could be the best, maybe that's all he needed right now. “But one day no one will be able to beat me...” His voice perked up, a bit of the child's melodic tone showing in his words.
