As the ship he was on rocked back and forth on the ocean, Fenrir found that he was entirely unable to find peace. He believed that it would be possible to get some sleep while in transit, but it was now clear that this would be impossible for him. Currently, he was leaning over the edge of the ship he had found himself on, watching the waves. He had never actually been on the ocean, and while he wasn't so affected as to be sickened by it, but he certainly wouldn't be finding any peace on this journey. So far, all he had done was think of the different things he could do, which wasn't very much. He could train, and had tried, but he found that the discomfort the rocking added to his training prevented any real focus. He could have spent this time making something using the new kit he had gotten before leaving the village, but that would likely also be ruined by the rocking of the boat. Damn these seas, nothing seems to work the same here as it did on land. You could go talk to people, so far the only people you know are ones who you tried to fight. That's because that's all most of them are good for, and with good reason. We live in a village of killers, it's our job to fight. Both of them were right, but somehow that did little to motivate Fenrir. Movement itself seemed impossible at this moment, as he was seemingly entranced by the flowing movements of the ocean, focusing on the waves on it's surface rather than the rocking it caused on the vessel. It seemed almost peaceful, despite the heavy wind and rain. Chaotic yet in perfect sync, every bit of it moving in unison as the wind pushed it and the rain pummeled it. As he watched, he found his eyes beginning to close, his arms slipping out from under him as he slipped into a light sleep. This was before his head dropped to where arms previously were, slamming off the railing he had been leaning on. "Damn this boat, this ocean, and this journey. At least at the end we get to have some fun with Konoha at the end. The very thought of such fun brought a smile to his face. Speaking of fun, he needed to have some if he was going to keep himself up. He didn't trust a single person on this ship, and he'd just as soon be caught dead as go to sleep near them, even if his body wanted to force him into it. He had an idea, one that he hadn't had in a very long time. He would simply meditate, and attempt to hone his fighting skills in his mind rather than on the boat.
Making his way down to the area below the deck, Fenrir found his small area, fitted with nothing more than a bed and a box for holding his things. He never had the need for very many material items, apart from his ninja gear, so in the box was nothing but a few pieces of fruit. Need to remember to eat those soon. He couldn't have food rotting in his area or everyone who had to smell it would be rather pissed off at him. At least that would let you get into a proper fight, and not a pretend one. "For you, this is as real as the fights are gonna get." "Shut the hell up! Some people are trying to sleep!" Maybe he would end up getting into a real fight after all, or at least he would if he was certain of his odds against a ship full of ninja. Sadly, he was not, so he would simply quiet down and sit on top of his bed, legs crossed, eyes closed. Fenrir focused on the place in his mind, and it slowly came into focus. It wasn't a very complicated place, simply a large, circular arena, made of a dark gray stone. There were also distances clearly marked by white circles, every five meters from the center. Fenrir stood at the 30 meter mark on one end, a silhouetted counterpart at the other end, making the total distance 60 meters. This was how he used to train while he was locked up, and he found that it worked much better than doing nothing. After a moment finishing up the finer details of himself and his opponent in his mind, Fenrir and the counterpart would both charge, coming at each other with the intent to kill. It had been a while since he had fought Red, and he was excited to see how much the two of them had improved.
Soon Fenrir and Red had finished their first spar, and both were heavily wounded. Panting, Fenrir spoke, Ready for round two? Red would form what seemed to be a smile on his face before replying. Always. Suddenly, both were back where they had started, standing 60 meters apart from each other with their wounds fully healed. I love it here. Then why don't you stay? After this was quiet. Fenrir had debated simply staying here forever and never returning to the real world, but he knew that his conscious body was sadly tied to his physical body, and without one, the other would die. Red understood this, and knew that he wouldn't recieve an answer, but he still liked to ask. Or Fenrir still liked to ask, depending on how you look at it. Returning to their combat for the rest of the voyage, not another word would be spoken between the two as they fought.
