Federico learns about ryo

Mission details:

Having finally found a muse again, Federico leaves his little apartment. Having not known much about money, he ended up agreeing to pay about 50% more for his apartment, but he did not need to pay immediately. He had about 1 month to pay the significantly increased apartment price. He learned about what ryo was, and was trying to figure out how to make some money. He did not know that many of these methods involved getting a job somewhere. He never really saw ryo in any large quantity before. He never really knew any method of getting it. The only things he knew about were to either attempt to fight someone to get it, or he could attempt of sell something.

Having left his apartment, he looked around and tried to see if there was a way to find ryo. He did not know that he was in a dangerous part of town, and that there were many missing ninja, many of which were criminals. He walked around, through the black market, and saw many different items that were really strange. He saw a few people selling weapons, a few people selling strange substances, saw a few other strange things. He stumbled his way into the contract center, and saw a few jobs, a few hit jobs, a few jobs that involved some stuff he did not know about. He also saw a contract, that seemed to be for newer people, it simply stated that he was to steal money or product from a few specific merchants. He thought that perhaps, he might be able to do it. Taking the piece of paper, he looked at it and saw that he would need to find some merchants. He looked and saw that the black market was full of merchants. He did see that there were many people who looked like they were intent on preventing people from doing anything too illegal. He saw that they were watching the place like a hawk, perhaps he might want to find somewhere less watched.

As naive as Federico was, he knew not to get into too much trouble, and to try to not get seen when stealing. He saw that in the mission description, that he should go to the borders. He looked around, and wandered his way to a sign that said, “Welcome to Shadow Country.” He assumed that he was actually at the borders judging that he also saw a sign facing the other way that said, “Welcome to Tornado Country.” He looked and deduced that he was living in Tornado Country. He decided to go and look around to see if there are any travelers. He sat there for a few hours, and saw a person who looked like he was going from shadow country. This traveler looked like he was in rough shape. It seemed that he also lived in the wilderness for a long time. Federico also saw that the man was wearing tattered clothing, and showed no sign of money. He decided not to make any trouble, and just waved at the man as he walked by.

Federico sat down and quickly got bored. He fell asleep soon after.

About 2 hours later, he heard some noise. This person seemed like he might have some money. He looked, around and looked to see if there was a way to steal from this person. He looked at the man, examined him up and down as the man approached him. He saw that he had a bag that was slung over his back. It seemed like it had many things in it. Federico thought a bit, but realized he had to come up with some sort of plan to try to steal from this person. He looked big, so it did not look like a good idea to try to steal from the man. Federico would wait for the man to pass him, waving at him as he did so. As the man would continue on his journey, Federico would quietly follow him. Eventually, the sky went dark, and it seemed that the man was going to look for a place to get some rest. The man sat down, started a fire. He soon look around and began to go to sleep. It seemed that he was going to sleep for the night.

Federico decided that there was probably not going to be a better time to attempt to steal from this person. He would quietly creep up to the man. The man would start snoring, and rolling around a bit. Federico would stop for a second and continue to watch the man. He was not sleeping normally, so Federico waited another few minutes.

Eventually, the man fell asleep for good so Federico eventually crept up to the man’s bag. He smelled the man’s bag and realized that there was some strange things in it. These were drugs, but Federico did not know that. He just so happened to be stealing from a drug dealer. He quietly cut a little hole in the bag using a cheap knife he found. He would quietly reach into the bag, and one at a time, would grab coins from the man’s bag. Eventually, Federico had realized he did not have a place to put them. He decided to bury them next to a tree. He saw that he had a lot of ryo, so he had to dig a big hole. He would then slowly put the coins into the hole, and then put the dirt he could back.

Federico would then look inside the man’s bag and see that there was a smaller bag. Federico would steal that as well by quietly reaching in and taking it. Federico would hold on to that, and climb into the tree next to where he buried the money he stole.

Morning came, and the man woke up and looked in his bag and saw that his money was stolen. He would not see Federico, and would wonder what happened. Angrily, he ran back to wherever he came from, as he now no longer had the money to do whatever he was going to do, leaving Federico to grab the money he buried, put it in his new bag and run. He eventually found that he got about 500 ryo when he got back home to his apartment.
