Six Tails vs Kenshin Uzumaki
Tue Jan 02, 2018 3:00 pm
Welcome to your Bijuu Battle
Before we start, a few ground rules:
+Participants are given 48 hours to respond, Mods and NPCs however are given 72 hours.
-The possibility of death is very real and in fact, expected. You are fighting a bijuu after all.
+Once you post here, your stats and jutsu are locked in place. Anything not on your stat page will not be counted, same as the bijuu. Both parties should ensure all final edits to their stat pages are made before posting in this topic. Note that the bijuu will not be adhering to normal stat or jutsu caps.

-There are no get out of death free cards, if you die, you die. However the bijuu may not die. A death blow will result in the bijuu being knocked out and primed for sealing.
+If your NPC permits, you may edit your post once per post. Editing resets the 72 hour counter from time of edit.
-Regardless of how much coding skill you’d like to apply, each technique used must be listed at the bottom of your post along with appropriate AP deduction. If any party fails to list a tech, it does not go through
+Because this is a semi IC event, you may use the words from your battle towards stats/a technique you used or trained.
-Should a battle mod be required, one will be provided. It will not help your case to argue with the battle mod. You may make your point respectfully and then defer to the mod’s judgment. That said, we encourage talking with your opponent before asking for a battle mod
+Should the first team/participant fail, the next team/participant will get their turn. A new topic will be made for the next fight. Should all bijuu hopefuls for a certain tailed beast fail, signups for that beast will open once more.
-Participants post first, IC investigating a natural oddity that has been occurring near their current IC location. The NPC-ed bijuu posts second with a complete stat page as well as their entrance post.
I wish you the best of luck!

With a small frown on Kenshin's pale and scarred face he would allow him implanted Sharingan to scan over the surrounding area. His mission was a very vague one, find whatever it was that was causing the supplies that travelled through the area to vanish and put an end to it. At first the Jounin had suspected that it was nothing more than bandits... but when he had arrived in the area and found it completely devoid of any type of life he knew that he was wrong. Mere bandits were not enough to scare off every single animal that lived in the areea... even the rats had abandoned their holes in fear of something that lurked in the surrounding mountains
As one may expect from the borders of Haven Country and Earth Country the vegitation was scarce, and the area was extremely arid and mountainous. There were a great many places that a creature of almost any size could hide in, from the miniscule to the gigantic... and that was the entire fucking problem. There were simply too many places for the creature to hide, and to make matters even worse he knew that beneath this entire cursed area lay a rather large cave system. He of course had his chakra sensory active and was searching for even the slightest hint of chakra in the area, but so far he had found nothing.
The Jounin was dressed in his usual garb... or at least a copy of it created by a rather unique fabric that he had come across in Hoshigakure. All it took was a miniscule amount of chakra, and the user could bind it to their chakra system and allow the fabric to shapeshift into anything that they desired. This was simply too good for him to pass up, so he had purchased the fabric and bound it to him at the start of this mission. Oh, and everything else that Kenshin had listed on his stat page was on him... just in case someone wants to try some vague bullshit.

An eternity was a long time to spend on this planet. Smiting ants developed into a tedious exercise of futility, interacting with them even moreso. How long had he been trapped within the confines of some petty man to fuel their desire for power? Viper Uchiha would be the last person to contain his power. His friend. Together they'd changed the world into something else and he'd grown to enjoy the vision that that man saw for the world. One that united the villages under one nation, then his brethren would no longer have to be toiled over. They'd be free to avoid lives of conflict and servitude for war efforts.. yet it was not to be. Rokubi had been snatched form his friend and forced back into this world. Surrounded by lesser lifeforms that seemed to tread without care on anything that was beneath them. Rokubi could do that too.
The creature, now standing at 20 meters in height, had finished moving through the dry regions of Hoshigakure a while ago as it now found itself roughly in the center of Iwagakure's rocky mountains, progressing smoothly over the rough terrain as its acidic slime served to melt the ground on which it traveled to accommodate its impressive form. Rokubi's optical tentacles were keenly alert on anything that happened around them in the vicinity, even following the flight patterns of ants in the sky that seemed to fly directly away from it whenever they sensed its approach.
Although it wasn't like Kenshin couldn't find the Bijuu. After all, when you have an eternity to walk the planet you can do so at a snail's pace.

It was sheer luck that gave Kenshin the first clue about the possible location of whatever it was that was residing nearby. He had looked up into the sky as he gave a sigh of pure frustration when his newly implanted Sharingan caught sight of some birds on a mountain to the north. Or rather, some birds fleeing their nests on one of the many mountains to the north... it was a rather small clue, but it was all he had to go on at the moment.
This little clue had taken him further into the Earth Country than he wanted to be, but when he reached the mountain, he noticed something rather odd. Some stone near the base of the mountain in question and what had obviously been a rather large looking boulder... was melting right before his eyes. The Sharingan picked up the chakra infused liquid that coated the stone before the inactive Seigan had, but only moments after its mismatched twin it too had spotted the liquid. It appeared to be some type of chakra infused mucus, one that melted anything that it came into contact with.
No doubt this was related to the creature that he was out here hunting... perhaps it was some type of summon. It would definitely explain why the mucus in question was infused with chakra... hmm, this complicated matters a little. If it was a simple beast then exterminating it would be a simple matter... but if it was indeed a rogue summon of some sort then it no doubt possessed at least human levels of intelligence.... this was just great.
With a light growl of annoyance Kenshin would start to follow the trail of melted earth and stone, all the while taking care not to let any of the mucus touch him. He had no desire to test whether or not this substance, capable of devouring earth and stone, was also capable of devouring even his extremely durable flesh. As the mucus became fresher and fresher Kenshin would give a small sigh of annoyance and open his Minds Eye to enhance the range of his sensory, temporarily allowing his chakra to break through the small bubble of suppression created by his ring.
Oh how he wished he had not done that. There, a mere one hundred and thirty meters ahead of him, on the other side of a particularly large mountain... was an absolutely monsterous chakra signature. It was far larger than anything or anyone that he had ever encountered in the past, even Akihana, who possessed the largest reserves of chakra he had ever sensed, had nothing on this... creature. He had to take a slight breath to center himself when faced with such an overpoweringly vile chakra signature... even the feel of his own twisted and tainted chakra had nothing on this beast.
Okay... there was absolutely no reason for him to freak out about this, if anything him being distressed would make this harder than it needed to be. There was also no way in hell that he was going to be facing off against whatever this creature was in open combat... the size of its reserves and the overpoweringly vile feel of its chakra was more than enough warning for him. He did have a plan of attack, and if it worked then the creature in question would be taken out before it came to combat... but it also had its fair share of risks.
As the creature reached the one hundred and thirty five meter mark Kenshin would close his minds eye, causing the beast to drop from his radar at the same time as his ring suppressed his presence. The instant the Minds Eye was closed the silver haired Jounin would begin to flow chakra through his feet and into the earth below, turning it into a fine sand and allowing him to go beneath the surface of the Earth. Thankfully, due to how his ring worked his chakra signature was masked even while using this technique, and as such there was absolutely no way that the creature would be able to detect him as he approached.
He was only one meter beneath the surface of the earth as he made his way closer to where he had last sensed the creature, and when he felt it reappear on his radar at one hundred meters from his position he knew that it was almost time to strike. When he finally reached the creature in question, exactly one meter beneath its current position, Kenshin would go through a set of five hand seals at his top speed (80) and hold the final one, ready to use the technique in question at any point. With the prep work done Kenshin would activate his Cursed Seal of Earth: Stage 2, which would alert the creature of his presence. But the instant he activated the seal and felt his chakra become much more powerful he would strike, activating one of his most recently developed techniques... Miasma. Due to how well versed he was in its use he needed no hand seals, and at a speed of 230 a deadly cloud of gas would seep forth from his body and begin to devour everything that it touched. The gas would spread in a rough sphere shape, devouring the earth above, below and to the sides of Kenshin as it outwards.
If even the smallest portion of this gas came into contact with the beast in question it would begin to spread across its body... devouring all that it touched. As for Kenshin himself... well he would simply activate the technique that he had prepared beforehand, the Substitution Technique, and switch places with a roughly human sized rock on the surface of the earth, seven meters from his current position. This would of course be done to prevent the beast in question from crushing him once the Miasma ate through the earth beneath it... as amusing as going out in such a way would have been... defeating the beast only to be crushed by its carcass.
Should all go according to his plan then the beast would be done... but when did things ever really go according to plan.

Rokubi enjoyed the views of the gravely rocks and the clear blue sky. A delightful treat that he scarcely got to relish when caged within the carcass of a man, and a valued one at that. Yet something irked the creature, something on the horizon which seemed to gnaw away at its curiosity. Every creature tended to run, fly, hop, or even swim away from its very presence.. yet there something roughly fifty meters out approaching it from the place it had came from. It listened closer to the shifting of sand and the quiet crumbling of rocks as the noise quaintly rose. Was brother Ichibi here? No.. there was no chakra signature, this was not the work of a tailed beast. The creature had been followed directly from whence it came..
It was being hunted.
Its optical tentacles stretched above its body and peered through its tails to acknowledge that nobody was running over the land, yet there was.. something. A trail of parting rocks as the ground beneath them was momentarily turned unstable with the sand that replaced it. A sneaky hunter. Its mouth momentarily lulled open when Kenshin hit the 45 meter mark so that it could blow forth acidic bubbles with self-preservation in mind. Slowly, they'd spread and drift past Rokubi as he continued to move away from the approaching stalker, now starting to pick up speed to attain full momentum. Perhaps a fight could be avoided, yet Rokubi would not be a pushover to some brat if he continued to pursue.
The bubbles themselves would drift closer to the ground, singing the rocks they passed with their potency. They each spaced themselves in a line 6 meters apart facing the way Kenshin was coming from, each hovering inches above the ground so that they could pop and explode to act as a warning for the terror he dared approach. Due to them only have to float to the ground, they'd be in place when Kenshin was 15 meters away from their destination, with Rokubi on cruise control to continue avoiding the unknown entity as it hit cruise control and drifted directly away from the unseen predator.

As Kenshin got within 45 meters of the strange creature he would feel it using a technique through his chakra sensory, putting him on guard almost immediately. The scar faced Jounin found himself wondering if the beast had managed to detect his approach, and if it had, just how it had managed to do so. It became clear to him that he had indeed been detected when the jutsu used by the creature began to slowly move in his direction, all the while inching closer and closer to the ground. With his initial plan foiled by the creature the stitched and scarred medic saw no reason to continue hiding underground, as he knew that it would provide little protection against something as powerful as this creature.
Kenshin would emerge from the earth right around the same point as the beast began to move at its full speed, only five meters away from where he had sensed the beast used its technique. Great, he didn't exactly want to continue pursuing such a dangerous creature, especially since it knew he was here and seemed to dislike that little fact... at least fi those rather imposing looking bubbles were any indication. But he knew that he had to... that was at least, if thise creature was indeed the one responsible for the missing supply caravans... was it possible that this creature wasn't the one he had been assigned to deal with?
What he was about to attempt was probably stupid, but no less so than attacking such a creature with as weak of a reason as he had before. Thankfully he had that handy new fabric for what he was about to use, otherwise it would probably result in his shifrt being shredded as he used one of his newest techniques. With but a though a rather large hole would open in the fabric, right over the upper right portion of Kenshin's back... but what the hole revealed was not what one would typcally expect. Rather than snow white skin marred by threads as black as night... there sat a mask, one that was seemingly sewed into Kenshin's flesh.
That was even stranger though was when the teens back started to convulse and bulge out around the mask, almost as if something was trying to tear its way out of his body. This was a rather interesting technique that Kenshin had taken to calling Masked Beasts. It essentially allowed him to place one of his many hearts inside a mask to create a creature that was able to use the element posessed by that heart, provided he knew the jutsu that is. A very useful technique, especially when coupled with the fact that Kenshin himself was able to see through the 'eyes' of the masked creatures. This particular one was his Fire heart, and the shape that the beast of threads took could best be described as an absoultely massive falcon.
Sensing the intent of its creator the threaded creature would allow its creator to climb up onto its back, before taing flight... in the opposite direction of the beast in question. Kenshin was no idiot, he recognised what the Bijuu was the moment he had surfaced and actually managed to lay his eyes upon its massive form. And seeing as he was not feeling particularly suicidal today, the Ragoll of Hoshigakure was not about to pick a fight with such a beast. The parameters of his mission had changed drastically, so he was not about to continue on with his old orders. If Kyousuke had a problem with that... then that sucked for him.

As Saiken slithered from the spot it continued to feel out the area just in case it continued to be pursued. A perforation was made in the surface of the ground as a creature emerged, yet it didn't bother to turn around to see what it was. He was quickly gaining distance from it and that was all that mattered when you no longer wanted to be caged within a vessel. Travelling through the rocky mountains of Iwagakure, Saiken left a thick trail of slimy, acidic ooze. Would there be another?
