Yorokobi accepted Yoru’s offer to end the spar and grabbed onto his forearm to get brought to his feet. “Yes! Did you see that? I was able to get the barrier up and block your attack. Woohoo!” The uzumaki said while hopping around anxiously with some adrenaline still pumping through him. “Now, if I go to lay down and relax inside the cave you’re not gonna go tunneling beneath the ground again right?” The boy said smiling facing Yoru as they entered the cave. Yorokobi then lied down with his back to the wall and his hands placed behind his head. Man that was a great spar.Yoru taught me a lot today not only in battle but some needed life lessons. Hope he doesn’t just see me as some egotistical kid thinking he’s all that with no actual potential cause the way I see it we’re both going to do some great things in this world.

Yoru allowed for Yorokobi to relax. The kid had earned it in his eyes: it was no easy feat to be able to block him, let alone score a hit on him. Granted, he had allowed for some of the attacks from the Uzumaki to go through and hit him, but still. Maybe there’s a chance he will last longer than expected, he thought to himself. He looked back at, the rain still pouring down. It was odd, as they were in the Land of Tornadoes, as opposed to the Land of Rain, where it would be much more fitting. He looked up towards the clouds, the darkened heavens. Is this your form of mercy? The burning of a village warrants an eternal rain? He stared upwards towards the sky, watching the rainfall. If he focused enough, he was able to make the weather appear to slow down, tracking a singular drop until he watched it splash against the ground outside. But there was something off about the atmosphere, something that the Jashinist was able to pick up on. He had caused homes and villages to exude this feeling.
Emptiness.
Tuning the weather out, the Jashinist stood up, noticing an eerie silence. Continuing through, he searched the cave, including the various mineshaft paths. This continued for what felt like hours. He would eventually return to the main section where the group tended to congregate. He then checked the makeshift room he had carved from the stone, which remained empty before the Jashinist confirmed his suspicion. “They’re gone. The two siblings.” It was probably Kokai’s idea. She wanted to keep her brother safe and did not trust the others, as she had shown that she was very cynical. This meant that it was only Yoru and Yorokobi left in the cave. How they had gotten away remained a mystery, perhaps there were paths that Yoru was not able to find that led outside instead of the main entrance. Maybe they even snuck out while the two were sparring, sticking to the walls while Yoru was blinded by fury. As it stood now, Yoru and Yorokobi were now alone together.
