Five Tails vs Valen and Hikari

After Valen would disappear from the sights of both the Bijuu and Hikari he would note that the chestnut haired girl would disappear as well. Presumably, doing the same thing she did when she needed space after his confession. ‘Waiting for the opportunity to strike eh? Nicely done’ He would think as he kicked it up to full speed. As he did so he would activate something that Hikari gave him long ago. Normally hair that was black as night would become blonde as four, tattered red wings would unfurl from his back. Two horns would sprout on his head and he hands would become more accustomed to claws than anything else. Of course these appendages wouldn’t hurt his ability to wield a sword at all. The form in general though would increase his capabilities drastically. His speed would jump up to 245 and his chakra levels would double for a total of 140. His perception of everything around him would surge and his body was now flowing with natural energy, empowering his techniques. 

At this point the bijuu would have turned toward Earth Country and began its journey. Assuming the two shinobi had fled for their safety. Of course this bijuu couldn’t know that at the very least, Valen was still skulking around. As he thought these through he would be passing by the beast as if it were standing still, even at its maximum speed. Of course he was still in his separate phase, so the great beast still had no idea of the danger it was truly in. He would get to the 50 meter point ahead of the bijuu before turning around, making sure to do so safely as to not damage himself with whiplash, etc. At that point he would begin dashing toward the beast at his continued pace of 245. The distance between the two of them would be closing at blinding speeds and Valen would carefully judge the time necessary to reveal himself once more, hand on the hilt of his blade as he did. 

As the duo did their charge, one preparing, the other oblivious, Valen would suddenly allow himself the unphase. His reappearance would happen at a speed of 300, and it would complete the moment the two beings were exactly one meter apart. The moment the temporary blonde did so though he would draw his sword as fast as he could. Utilizing a quick draw method that most people wouldn’t be able to follow no matter how hard they tried. Dancing Blade Risk, his blade would, for an instant, flash in the light of the moon to those that could perceive it as he drew the blade, aiming the blow directly for the great beasts upper chest and neck. The blade’s edge would have a sharpness of 250 for this blow, and the swing would occur at a speed of 295. Of course Valen would use the momentum of the swing to move his body to the side as he swung the blade, causing the blow to come more from the side than the front. More importantly though, it would move him from the path of the charging bijuu. The blade was aimed, as stated before, at the beasts upper chest and neck area, giving him a greater area to land the blow than simply the ‘head’ or the ‘neck’ but it would almost certainly be a kill blow for any other beast. Should the blow land he would immediately begin to stop and turn toward the creature. Should he somehow miss he would continue to run, to prevent himself from being nearby the beast when it attempted it’s counterattack.

Math for blade sharpness is 150 base sharpness, the speed from Yojinbo fully scales even halving making it the speed for the swing 295. The strength does not scale fully, only going to 30 (Due to using it with a booster obvs) making my total strength for that swing 105 

295+105 = 400/4=100 

150+100=250 

Please inform me if I did that incorrectly, I will of course change that as needed.

As Hikari gazed into the main realm with the eye of heaven, Hikari was surprised that the jutsu wasn’t working how it should. If Valen had just teleported, Hikari should of seen him no problem. The only real explanation that Hikari could think of would be that Valen had gone out of phase had and was trying to get the jump on Gobi. Without much she could do, Hikari would just prepare for when Val would need her to support.
While continuing trying to find Valen with the Eye of Heaven, Hikari would would start to do a few things. The first would be cast the shadow clone jutsu, making a clone of herself about 2 meters in front of her. Once that was done, the clone and Hikari would both start preforming more actions. The clone, who would be facing away from the real Hikari would start forming the six hand signs required to use her strongest technique, Cealestial Lumine. Meanwhile, the real Hikari would turn away and start to flee from her clone, running in the direction opposite from where the clone was facing, along a straight path unblocked by trees or other obstacles that ran through the Sakura Fields of her alternate dimension. As she did this, the real Hikari would clap her hands and take a deep breath, activating a technique she hadn’t used since her Jounin exam with Kyousuke Snow, Wind Style: Wind Rejuvenation. The girl would dash away from the clone at a speed of 85, and at the same time start forming the four hand signs needed to create Peregrinati Sunt, but not activate the jutsu yet, just wanted it to be ready for when she needed to use it.
Suddenly, When Hikari was about 50 meters away from her clone, she would see Valen become solid through heaven’s eye and about to slash something that was about a meter infront of him, probably the five tails. Hopefully ending this fight and making the fuinjutsu mistress of light not required for more than just sealing the beast or moving it, whatever was decided, but the girl was ready in case this went south and she was needed. If Vals attack did connect, Hikari would stop running away from the clone and await other orders. If the beast was able to stop Val's attack, well.... we would see then what would happen.

AP Usage:

Now that it had settled this little problem, Gobi was thinking of where to go next. Earth country seemed like a solid choice - plenty of mountains to hide in, vast land and very few shinobi as the country seemed to no longer have a shinobi village of any significance. In a way returning here and getting chased by Den's student was liberating, Kokou felt no longer attached to the village its late friend had helped built, as they clearly did not see the tailed beast as a friend. The five tailed dolpin-horse would take a breath of freedom as similar thoughts were swirling in its heads, just a moment before they were cut short.

With a flash of light and at speeds faster than Kokuo could possibly mount any defense the one known as Valen would appear in front of it and deliver his attack. As the two ran past one another and stopped, Gobi would tilt its head to spot a massive gaping wound with chakra shining through in its torso. Its front legs would shiver and fail as the beast lost consciousness and collapsed face down into the sand.
After a moment the rain would cease, winds would pick up and Kokuo's form would start to glimmer. Without a will imposed on the chakra that literally composed its body, the chakra would now begin to go out of control. With a sudden blast, the night desert air would become hot and a column of light would shoot into the sky, instantly clearing the clouds and revealing the stars again. Gobi's body had now lost its form and was a mass of energy and light, in the most vulnerable state and also most volatile.

[There's things I could possibly have done, but it would be nitpicking and not very gentlemanly of me, so let's just call this your win. Can't beat those numbers in this situation, congratz.]

(.... You dodged a bullet Naoki, I was going to use 1000 years of pain next post, but with the giant laser next post. So GUHHHHHHH.

But seriously, I had fun, I think Val had fun, and I know you didn't have anything personal in this fight, but I hope you did have at least a little bit of fun.)

Seeing Valen had finished the fight, Hikari's clonr would aim the laser straight up into the sky and fire it quickly. A giant 300 meter laser going straight up disolving into the air, before the clone poofed out of existance. 

Teleporting back to the once battlefield, Hikari would reappear a few meters near the champion that slayed the five tails was, before walking toward him, she wouldn't have her chakra suppressed or move silently, so the dark prince would know she was here. Looking over at the collection of chakra, the Jounin's heart would break a little bit.


"It..... is kind of a shame." Hikari would say, a tear in her eye as he thought of the first Hogokage. Hikari had never met the man (Or atleast, to her knowledge) but she knew of him as the man who created the village that she now called home.  She also knew of the promise that Den had made to the bijuu, that it would never be sealed inside another host again. However, after the way it acted when the two showed itself, there was no way that the gobi would be allowed to walk free. "I wanted to keep Den's promise, but we werent really given much of a choice." The Jounin spoke, more to herself out loud then Valen. However, Hikari's next words were toward the dark haired teen. "What..... should we do now? Should we ask Kyouske? I can seal the chakra in one of us for transfer, or I could.... make one of us it's Jinjurki."

The Kunochi would bring her hand up to her eye and wipe away the single tear that was shed, asa she awaited the deputy kage for his response.

Valen’s blood was still pumping at an obscenely high rate. The adrenaline high from the fight was still going on strong and felt ‘less’ in control of his actions  than normal. Given that however, he wasn’t classless enough to ever use that as an excuse for what happened next. Did he lose his bearings for a moment? By being both the victor as well as alive to tell of it? Possibly, did he forget that the girl beside him who held the ability to shatter him emotionally hadn’t actually brought up his feelings yet? Most definitely, but he would never hide behind such things. He had more pride than that. It would however probably come as a shock to both of them. After all not even he was expecting to suddenly reach out, attempting to take the hand of Hoshi’s Angel of Light before pulling her toward him before she could even begin speaking. If that worked he would turn toward her as he did and without warning of any kind attempt to engage in an ardent kiss. Should it succeed he would hold the kiss for about 5 or so seconds before suddenly realizing what he was doing and attempting to break it just as quickly. 

Should breaking it be successful he would blush deeply and avoid eye contact. His inexperience in such things catching up to him as he tried to get his breath under control enough for an apology “I’m..I’m sorry Hikari. I have no excuse for that.” He would say before looking toward the great mass of chakra. He needed a change of subject, and quickly. “Make me it’s Jinchuriki. I’ll become The Gobi’s partner, like Den-Sama was before me.” He would say “I’ll take it’s anger at this situation and try to turn it to understanding. It was me who forced it into this, I’ll take the responsibility.” He would finish, his blush long gone in favor of his normally stoic expression as he readied himself to take on another duty.

"Give Me the five tails, and we will call it even"

Due to the fact that the Kunochi was lost in her thoughts about the snake sage, Hikari didn't notice when Valen lashed out his hand to grab hers until it was to late. The girl would try to resist on instinct against Valen, but her 25 strength wasn't any match for his 75 strength. Hikari would get drawn into Valen's grasp, Perhaps it was because of the fact that they had just fought the five tails and Hikari had her guard down because of that, maybe it was because val was so close, Hikari didn't know, but rather than phasing out of existence, or just turning into a sun of holy light, the girl would just close her eyes and tense up, expecting the end to come.

However, that wasn't what came, instead, she felt something, her body pressed up against something, an arm holding her on her lower back and pressing up against said something, and a different feeling up against her lips. Opening her eyes, she would see Valen's lips pressed up against her own, the boy having brought Hikari up to her, and giving her a deep, passionate kiss. For a few seconds, Hikari would blush deeply, and just stay there like a ragdoll, not entirely sure what was going on or how to react, not struggling against Valen's powerful grasp.

At the end of the time, Valen would let go and would back away immediately apologizing, Hikari however, wasn't moving, just having this dumb found look on her face, but at the same time, a blush the same color as Vallen's cloak would cover her cheeks. The Jounin Didn't know what to make of the situation, she knew of Valen's feelings toward her but this......?

At that point, Valen would ask if Hikari could seal the demon inside him, which took a few seconds for Hikari to process.


When she finally did process the request, the girl would stumble over her words, barely able to form full sentences, not entirely being here because of her feelings. "Uh....uh.... yeah... yeah..."

The Jounin would then make the sign of confrontation, and in what would probably be the most distracted and dangerous way Hikari had ever made an S ranked fuinjutsu, and make use the 4 symbol seal jutsu twice in order to make an 8 trigram seal. The seal would appear on Valen, where ever he wished and the chakra belonging to the Gobi would find itself flowing from it's present location and into the seal. The process wouldn't take long, but once done, the Weapon's master of Hoshi would find himself as the new Jinjuriki of the five tails.

However, During the transfer, the Hoshigakure Jounin would have enough time to pull herself together and think about the situation. "It.... is done..." Hikari would say, still kind dazed, but more pulled together now. "But Valen, we need to talk.... about what just happened. I.... I know I have been avoiding you, and that was my fault, I shouldn't of done that. It was immature of me and, as we saw, could of caused tension and got us both killed.

But Val, we do need to talk about what just happened."

Hikari would wait at this point for the Deputies response, would the Dark Prince run the same way she had from him? Or would the two finally be able to talk.

[Not going to bother with AP at this point, but using 2 four symbol seals in order to make an 8 trigram seal and making Valen the five tails Jinjurki]

Hikari would nod, take the man by his hand and allow herself to be teleported.
