Sparring, Kari Vs Xuba[NK, P, ask for invite]

When Tatsuma lowered the chain into Kari's hands, the girl could feel the mass overbearing her. However, as long as he held on to it, Kari could move it around and inspect it. This is what she expect to happen. However the the man had other plans. He released the chain, allowing it to coil up over Kari. The girl's legs buckled as her struggled to fight gravity. Despite her effort, she fell to her knees. The only thing keeping her from falling on her back was the giant object on her back. She turned to the man wondering why he did such an act. He had to be crazy as well.

Kari bend down and tried to drop the chain on the ground, "Why are you doing? I can't lift that on my own."
As the chain fell off of Kari, she fell back, using the object on her back as a prop and rubbing her shoulders. Her arms were sore reminding her of the conditioning she had to do at the academy. It was a nightmare to be forced to do so many push ups. Kari eventually picked herself up but she backed away from the man. He was not a logical person and Kari was sure he would be upset about her dropping the chain. If he acted anything like the berserker, Kari would immediately run away. Hopefully things would not come to that.

Xuba smiled softly but her reaction confirmed his suspicions. Many did not focus as much on their physical aspects. Except perhaps their quickness. In this case the girl lacked raw strength to hold his chain which he relived of her the heavy burden. And with a smooth motion secured the 4 meter chain back on his shoulder safely,  and secured ready for quick acess if he ever needed it. 

"Ah im sorry. I thought you could hold the chain, but then again.... many times i forget my own strength. Still. You managed to roll it off. This is good. A wise warrior is capeable of adapting to tough situations."

He simply adressed as he remained scincier. He wished to help, and so he was willing to. Taking a step back he shifted back 2 meters, and did  a polite bow to the girl.

"Im sorry for that. But lets see how well you can do with your object of interest there. I would request that you try your utmost best to subdue me."

Xuba stated  as he glanced up at the girl with the helmet in one arm and  simply standing there he simply waited for the gir's response. 

"I worked pretty hard. So i know a thing or two in the world of craft work." 

Xuba stated as he indicated to his armor, chain, and boots.

The man was not crazy. He was just a muscle head. It was a huge relief to see. Though it was a little startling to see him lift such a heavy object effortlessly. He offered to help her train, but she was sure she could not keep up with any strength base training. Still, she would like to be stronger. If he was this willing to help. Also, she did not want him to get mad for refusing his assistance. This was only if he pushed the issue again.

The next thing that came out his mouth was nice to hear. Kari loved being called smart or wise. She thought of herself as thoughtful person though that normally meant delayed responses and awkward pauses mid conversation. She did not respond though because attached to the praise was the arrogant statement about his own strength. Kari eyes moved to the chain which validated his claims a little. However, the next thing he said was interesting. He propose she try to take him down. If this was a friendly match event, then she did not mind. It has been a while since she had a friend competition with another ninja, especially another genin.

"A test... I will past," Kari grabbed the object on her back and slammed it down on the ground. As she released it, it fell to the ground and the girl jumped back and made the tiger hand sign. Now she just needed to decide when to release the jutsu, or even if she should. she could not see though her own mist and it would not be very big due to the lack of water around her. It might be bad to hide her opponent should he decided to run. However, if runs at her, she would alter her plans. For now, she waited for the first pawn to move.

A seasoned vetran at the art of combat, and a man that if given an opening he would take advantage of such an opening. Diffrence he had to remember that he was still in a village. Otherwise a kunai wouldve been tossed at the gir. Fresh from the school of hard knocks. 

Her movements slow and so xuba simply created distace between himself, and the girl as she shrugged off her large object. (Speed:125.) The istance he travled was a clean 40 meters away from the girl so to observe her movements and safely assecess and respond to tge motions.

The crash from her object drowned out her voice. Regardless he noted that the girl decides to jump back. Mentally he had ideas to see if he could force her to jump, but he was not going to be crule.

Yeah she only has to make me submit.... ah well.


Xuba thought as he observed the girl make a handsign. By the looks of it. It was a tiger handsign. Then she would create some mist.

The idea that concealment visually was smart, but as he had experience with such tactics. This was only something that meant very little to him. The fact she was burning precious energy to conceal motions. Was the bothersome part.

Well one must learn to conserve your strength.... ill make sure to teach this....


Xuba thought as the mist stopped 10 meters infront of him. He smiled softly, yet it was childs play. His intent would be a wise warrior and react. Through consealing there was the hope to attempt to catch a warrior flat footed. The idea was one he kept in the mind. As his intent was to now observe and respond. Not destroy a person before him.

Let us see what she has to offer.

The man jumped back at a speed she could not keep up with but it was just a simple quick move. From there, he just stood and watched. This was not what Kari had expected. That speed combined with that armor made him even scarier but at least he was not attacking her. She lowered her hands and stared at the man.
"Your armor. Does it not slow you down?"
In her mind, the heavy armor and chain should have weighed him down. However he could move exceptionally fast. This made any idea to overpower him useless. Still, she did have one tech she could use to get the advantage.

Kari saw a couple of stones on the ground and decided to pick them up. If the man was going to stay back, then she would have to either make him get close or something more devilish. She tapped each finger on one of 5 stones and then threw them the man as hard as she could (65 speed) while they all were in her hand. A semi transparent chakra string tailed the rocks like the line connected to a fishing hook that was just cast with each string connected to on of Kari's right hand fingers. She would not use this moment to change positions and she would continue to watch the man in case he does anything weird.

xuba smiled at her remark and chuckled. It was a simple question that meant that she was not as experienced with as many people. He would not blame her. She had hardly taken a step out of the village. Did she have the idea that an individual could survive in the harshest of cold and gain strength. Only to kill animals with his bare hands for food for survival. The notion of training meant to the many denizens here were from the expectations of the boy cole. The simple spar and take a break. 
 
It is almost as if she did not even know the notion of survival, and they expect these people to be able to strive off knives and daggers in their sleep. It is hilarious.
 
So as she looked down towards several convenient stones on the ground. She would then attempt to pick them up. Which was interesting. He watched her head to the ground, and well begin to tap them and noted that as the girl tapped them. Her focus being on the stones  threads he had moved now at the speed of 90 and due to noting that she could hardly follow his motions he went side to side in a wavy pattern as she would begin to wind up for her wondrous assault. Yes by utilizing the stones on chakra wires to  an extent as an sort of extension of her body. This was pretty neat all which would be interesting so to speak. As he had given her a simple task. 




With each stone xuba had tracked their trajectory, and their flight pattern. Having a keen hand in throwing weapons, he understood well how to avoid such simple tricks. The art was to the one with the mind of course. So  xuba seamlessly bobbed, and maneuvered his way safely, and  effortlessly around the thrown rocks minding the chakra threads as of course since the rocks were at the most not being thrown in a multitude of different directions and angle’s. there was little need to worry. He merely kept to the outside of the rocks as he finished his dodging routine.

 His aim now was behind the girl so to observe both the girl, and watch the rocks, that were originally aimed for where he was from behind the girl.  He was going to have some fun however, as opposed to flat out overpowering an person he desired to push them to their limits. So keeping an eye on the girl as her fingers would betray her motions down to the slightest twitch as he would deduct with his observation.  xuba would Come to a stop at a few feet behind the girl .  As he was keeping an eye on her following the motions of her fingers, and the chakra threading.
 
“ah this stuff is hardly worth mentioning. The weight is lightweight. I still wonder why you cannot pick up a simple chain though. But regardless perhaps you just need a more steady practice. But keep in mind what you do and how you do things will determine your success out there. Planning shows your creativity. Which is good. But also always have back up plans. Always be prepared. You just never know out there what happens. I am certain the academy never went through with you what kind of events and people you encounter. The world is vast. You run into many people. “
 
Xuba simply said as he was relaxed yet at the ready for her next batch of motions. he quietly watched her his mind calm as his grey eyes watched quietly for the slightest betrayal of motion. his senses on high. ot was as if he was the hunter on the ground, but this was to show the vast difference. A animal shows one how to hunt. so To make it so that they have the tools to survive. However this was to be determined by the very animal in it's ability to adapt and learn how to handle such things. In this case the task that was truly simple. Now became complex. How does one truly handle such an overwhelming odds. This was the case in both  combat and also life. The mountain that stands before a person is vast and even seems impossible. However, the girl was to be a shinobi. Even one that dared to stand even close to him or even be near his experience. the danger was real. beyond the gates.

i barely made it from kumo without having to cause too much harm, but still. Here is a girl, that bird boy. These people in hopes of even nearing what it takes to take on the world. Questioning without figuring out the next motion at hand. In combat you must improvise. You are to survive and survive leads to a new day. 

Kari watched as the rocks dove for the armored man. She assumed he would just knock them out of the sky or brush them off his armor but he choice a more mobile option. He would duck his head and adjust his body so that the rocks would fly around him a couple inches away from his body. Though it was not apart of her plan, she was still in a good spot thanks to her chakra threads. She closed her hand and made a fist. The rocks would sharply adjust their courses and dive at Tatsuma at a speed of 65 while being 1 to 3 inches away from his body. The rock above his head was only 1 inch away when it dived at the back of his head. The 2 rocks to his left 2 and 3 inches away from his arm dove at his shoulder and torso and arm. The 2 rocks on his right side, both 2 inches away, also dove at his back and shoulder  

Kari was not sure if the attack would work as the man was very fast and comfortable dodging her rocks. However, it was her only shot of completing the prerequisites for her strongest jutsu. Should find a way to stop it then she would have to employ her not so secret weapon, but even that would be of limited use given how fast the man could move. Worst case scenario, she knew she had her signature jutsu which might work if she could get pasted that armor.

Seeing through the ruse he smiled as he simply sped up to a speed of 120. The rocks would be considered way to slow as he maneuvered even after he observed their trajectory and such upon approach, and observed the wires. During this time he reached up with his right hand (speed:125) and simply scooped the rock that was aimed at his forehead before it made  the sharp adjustment in turning. All the while he continued on towards the girl maneuvering around the wires as the remaining rocks would tangle with the wires on nothing. Since he would’ve already disappeared from that spot. 

 As xuba for this brief instant would be above her reaction time. In close to an instant to the girl. Due to how fast he was moving he would maneuver behind the girl by 5 meters and with a flick of his wrist xuba would send the pebble hurtling towards her wrapped surprise, and smiled as the rock would hurtle and curve slightly to the base of the object. Simply the lower middle region of the wrapped object. Perhaps it was a decently made piece of metal. Or a pot of surprises. He did not know so hence he threw the rock.  He was curious to what it was of course and due to the sound it would make would confirm to xuba what it was.  Made of. He was certain it might endure. Although he threw this at his max strength. So there was little to no telling if the object could actually endure the throw either if it did not have some sturdy health. (rock speed: 172 (throwing speed ofc: due to being blunt it would be average of xubas strength: 70 and the speed of said object: 172= 242/2 which is:141 in blunt force impact damage.) 

"Good tactic. Keep working at it. I will not be giving you baby steps you see.  You must find a way to handle the challenge. Imagine what happens in combat? You will run into such overwhelming odds. So what will you do? This here is where you shine. Keep at this. I have all day for you to improve and grow."

Xuba stated as he was merely showing the difference now. Yes he was in armor and had a chain on him. But he never got there by luck. He faced the odds and prevailed. Now he was going to drill this in the girl. To prepare for the world respectfully. Of course if the object somehow broke. Well tough luck. You do not bring toys that cannot stand tough play you see.


"How does one escape when you must deal with something maintaining pressure on you? The relentless pressure of being overwhelmed. The answer is to embrace your ability to thrive in difficulty. There have been times where I was out matched. Starving and had to still keep fighting to live. Keep my blood ebbing and flowing.”

The weariness in his voice was slightly apparent as it would be apparent that he had indeed seen a lot when it comes down to it. He was home now.  Which was a relief, but still the differences to when he was a child were. Apparent. He was a man now amid a world of uncertainty. He was still observing the girl waiting for her next motion. Her next reaction.

In the short moments of being surrounded by the stones, the man smiled. Smiles meant he was happy, but why would he be happy if he is surrounded by rocks. Confused, Kari pulled her strings back hoping to better angle them. It was possible that she fell for a trap but before she could collect any more information, the man just disappeared and one of the rocks she was connected to stopped responding. She could not see it disappear, but she knew the man had messed with it somehow. So she just kept pulling the string until she felt it behind her. Before she could turn around she felt to string that she was pulling sling to her puppet. Her eyes widen. Why would the man go for the object. He was dangerous like Cole, she thought as she heard the crunching noise of her puppet's back legs.

She sighed. The man true was out of her league and with her puppet damage again, she lost the will to continue trying.
"I failed," she muttered, disconnecting all of her strings. then she sent a new string to the bandage object and pulled it to her at a speed of 50. It did not matter that he thought her tactics were good and she got some praise. His speech reminded her of Cole and Terumi though the message seemed to contradict what she believe he wanted her to do. He expected her to grow but he took away her methods of fighting. He proved he could move too fast for her to reasonably do anything by seemingly teleportation behind her and breaking her stuff with small pebbles. She paid no mind to the rest of his speech. Her goal to train her puppetry would have to wait for another day. She would not even respond to the man. As she ran off back to the village. The world is a scary place and she simply needed to be stronger before interacting with other ninja. Also, she needed more money because these repairs were completely killing her money situation. The world was a cruel place and the people only really value their self and strength. She would take this defeat and use it as research for her future interactions with other ninjas. It would be the last time she let someone overtake her like this. She will never let herself be tricked into a spar with someone she did not trust. She would start relying on her own self to grow and take down the competition, through whatever means necessary.
