Satoru’s primary matter of thought at the moment is brought about by Hikari’s sentiments pertaining to the village’s inhabitants not taking kindly to the application of chakra which shinobi are known for. He recalls that this was a topic of interest to him in the past due to the controversy being based on a large difference in people within the same village. However, other priorities have overshadowed this interest: the prospect of achieving the rank of chuunin, furthering the extent of his chakra’s abilities, the recent death of his teammate. One might say that Satoru simply does not care about Hoshigakure’s religious civilians and lacks respect for their customs. However, this would be false. The truth is that the disdain shown by the religious crowd within Hoshigakure goes so far as to annoy the Nara. This will be expanded on at a later date.
What can be noted now is that Satoru shows the annoyance in his facial expression when Hikari mentions concern for the villager’s fear of chakra. He fails to match her wavelength when it comes to sympathy, yet he is not actively unhappy.
Now, Satoru is interested in seeing what it is that Miyamoto has in mind to begin their mission. He takes the team to a clearing further away from the village as Hikari had suggested. With very little knowledge of his team captain’s abilities, the genin watches closely in order to better know this teammate and bolster their ability to coordinate their techniques.
When Miyamoto summons a large reptile with height enough to tower over the forest around them, Satoru is genuinely shocked. Though he understands that this is a summon companion of his teammate and thus a non hostile, the Nara’s natural response to a threat is nearly triggered. His muscles tense, his chakra stirs in preparation, his eyes widen slightly as though he is under attack.
Miyamoto’s introduction of this creature to the rest of the team calms the genin so that his nerves are not so greatly on edge. He gazes up at the face of the animal but the sun shines behind its head and he is unable to really see the summon. The effect is such that the animal seems noble and naturally above Satoru’s own inferiority. Rays of light come from behind his figure to create a silhouette of his scaled neck and head, the image of power greater than what the one watching knows. Satoru, a boy whose drive is to leave behind weakness and grab ahold of his own strength, does not know how to feel about this. For the sake of focus, he puts the idea aside, but before this he questions himself: “Is my inferiority… intrinsic in nature? Am I fundamentally weak?”
The team is prepared to begin searching for the targets of the mission at hand. In order to locate them, they will ride upon the back of Miyamoto’s summon towards the Dragon Ravine, a place which the Terumi has been before based on his own words. Having someone who knows the terrain is helpful since, if the targets really did flee to this location after stealing the documents, then they must also have a competent understanding of the area. With Miyamoto’s knowledge, the opponent’s field advantage is less of a hinderance.
Should a question be asked of Satoru or he feels the need to convey any information, he will speak. Otherwise, he remains silent and follows the group’s actions reasonably.

(Sorry, my busy season ends tomorrow, expect longer and more consistent response as of that point forward.)
As the team would make their way to to a private place, Hikari would wonder what Miyamoto had planed up his sleeve, Once they had gotten some distance away, they would start and the Termui would start to form some familiar hand signs.
'Wait a second.....
At this point, the large summoned creature Miyamoto created would be called forth into Haven..... the summoning jutsu? The Jounin would note that, she hadn't known that the lava user had the ability to summon, that might be a skill that would come in handy later.
As everyone else had gotten on the back of the dragon, Hikari would join them, she had been a little bit scared of the large scaly creatures, but The Chestnut haired girl knew that Miyamoto wouldn't summon anything so close to the village that wasn't well trained... or allow her to touch it if there was something dangerous about the creature. It couldn't of been scarier than the Gobi after all.....
Getting up on the back of the creature, Hikari would await for Miyamoto to lead the team toward their destination.

Miyamoto would direct his friend, Tatsu the Komodo Dragon to the Dragon's Ravine seeing it as the only logical way to try and escape the village with sensitive information. Few people knew how to navigate the dangerous area without worry, even fewer still even knew of the Komodo Dragons that use the area as their hunting grounds. As they traveled, Tatsu would periodically tell Miyamoto that there was an odd scent nearby, something more akin to tainted flesh than anything else. Miyamoto would listen to his scaly friend before relaying the info back to the team.
"Looks like Tatsu has picked up a scent of tainted flesh...I do not know if it is the people we are looking for, but he says it is odd for that scent to be outside of the ravine like that." Miyamoto said before turning his attention back to the trees zooming past them as he prepared for the inevitable conflict. The air began to grow stale the closer they got to the ravine, the amount of flora and fauna also began to decrease as the sound of silence worked its way through the ears of everyone there. Tatsu reminded Miyamoto when they were about a mile out from the position of the tainted smell that he picked up that it would be best to proceed on foot from that point on.
Miyamoto looked back as Tatsu stopped. He hopped off of his friend and waited for the others as he would make sure to explain once they off of Tatsu.
"I think we are within a mile from the source of the smell Tatsu picked up, he advised us that it would be best to go on foot from here on out to maintain the element of surprise." Miyamoto began in hushed tones as he drew Tsume's katana. Cole and Satoru would undoubtedly notice the blade of their fallen comrade as he looked to Hikari and the others.
"We need to have a plan from here on out if this smell that Tatsu picked up was just a fool's errand then were are stuck up shit creek without a paddle. However, if this turns out to be the person or group responsible for taking the information then most likely they are trying to make sure what lies in the ravine will not try to attack them. That being said we better get moving and plan as we go because the longer we stand here the farther they will get." Miyamoto realized that he was speaking as if he was leading the team in which he sighed and then looked to Hikari.
"Sorry I know I am not mission lead here. What are your orders."

Cole was riding on the back of the Komodo dragon with the rest of his team. He was keeping his eyes open for any signs of danger as they went through the ravine. Miya would tell them that the dragon got the scent of something. Before stopping a little while later telling them that they should head out on foot from here on. Cole would hop off the Komodo dragon and stand to the side of it with the rest of the team when they got off. He would position himself to the front. Not as a sign that he was going to lead but more for a defensive position for the rest of his team. Cole didn’t know about Miya dragon but with the size of it, cole figured that it could take a hit if needed, and Cole knew from experience that he was the most durable of the four of them.
Cole would stand with his back to his team trusting them to keep an eye out for him while he watched the direction that they were going for attacks. He would keep his head slightly tilted to one side so that the rest of his team could see his ear. He did this to show them that he was listening to find out how they wanted to handle this. Till someone gave them orders cole would hold his position in the front keeping watch with his senses on high alert.

The sense of majesty from the dragon beneath Satoru stays strong in his mind as the team is transported to their destination. From the standpoint of a shinobi with an inferiority complex, this is one of the last thing that the Nara would like to experience. In order to focus on the mission at hand as well as prepare for inevitable combat, Satoru forces these thoughts out of his mind.
“The dragon is merely a vehicle.” He tells himself. “If I keep looking at the hole I’m in as though it’s infinitely deep, I’ll give up before I can climb out. Forget that there’s anyone towering over you in strength. Only your enemies should scare you, not your allies.”
Satoru has a habit of talking to himself. As for whether or not what he says is actually helpful is up for debate.
The Nara looks forward at Miyamoto, the master of the summon upon which the team rides. He cannot tell what the Terumi is thinking or if he is communicating with his summon. Uninterested in this, he turns to kneading his chakra within his body. Satoru finds that this exercise better prepares him to use his chakra readilly. This also occupies him when it comes to waiting for any period of time.
Within time, the summoned komodo dragon lands. Satoru is informed of what is next when Miyamoto states that the team will travel by foot for the remainder of the mission. This is fine with Satoru. What goes through his mind is the idea of the enemy not being very far away at this point. The encounter with the perpetrators is the meat of the mission and its goal lies within that period of time. It would be an accurate observation to state that Satoru is eager to perform.
The Terumi draws a katana. Satoru makes note that this blade once belonged to their fallen squad member, Tsume Chokyoshi. Having shut himself off from anything that might compromise him, Satoru stops there. He takes not and moves on, putting focus back onto what Miyamoto is saying.
He explains the situation up until the present time and gives some advice on proceeding with a plan but also quickly. These words are taken with priority and the idea behind them becomes the mindset which Satoru adopts at this point in the mission.
Probably desiring not to seem like the leader of the team or the head of the mission, Miyamoto finishes speaking and lets Hikari take over.

With the wind blowing through her hair as the group dashed forward, the Jounin would attempt to use her own keen sense of smelling to see if she could smell something out of the ordinary, that being said though, due to the speed of the dragon causing to much of an air disturbance for her to be able to smell clearly. (Also, Hikari wasn't used to the smell of such a large animal.) That being said, Apparently the dragon still had his abilty to smell, and alerted Miyamoto about their presence.
Before Hikari could even give her own imput though, Miyamoto already gave off the idea of getting off here. "Y...yes.... that would be for the best. After all, there is the possiblity if we get much closer that our targets might escape before we can do anything about it."
At this ponit the creature would come to a halt, and the soon to be Deputy Kage of Hoshigakure would jump off the beast along with the rest of her team. As she was about to addres the team, to her surprise, Miyamoto stepped up and started to take charge, giving his summary of the situation. His words spoke of expertise far beyond the years that the child had known of life in general.
Miyamoto drew the sword that Hikari recognized as Tsume's, the fallen comrade that Hoshigakure's Fuinjutsu Misstres of Light had been replacing on in this mission. Was Miyamoto carrying the blade because it was practical? Or was the boy carrying the blade as a momentum to his fallen brother in arms? Only time would tell this answer.
Anyways, after the Chunin's assesment of the situation, Miyamoto would turn to the Akari and ask her how she wanted to proceed, and with all honesty? The girl had completely forgoten that she was supposed to be in charge of the mission with how Miyamoto had taken over for her over the last few minutes. Honestly, it was very impressive.
"Language.... Miyamoto." Hikari would warn, her tone turning into more of a scolding tone for just a breif second before she would continue. "That being said..... that is my only critizim of your assement of the situation. Your judgement was sound."
At this point the girl would fold her arms infront of her, casting her gaze in the direction of the unknown Dragon Ravine. The Jounin had come in this direction before when she was patrolling the village borders, but she had never traversed this part of the country side before. "Miyamoto, you have a good lay of the land, correct?" Hikari would ask, "In which case, while we are tracking this stench, it might be for the best if you took point for it. While adhearing to rank is important, finding the right person for each job take priority, and with me leading us, we are more likely to fall into a trap, either one set by the enemy, or possibly some sort of naturally caused trap like the poisonus gas Miyamoto said before."
Turning back to the team, a gentle smile would form on the girl's as she looked upon her fellow Shinobi. "I presume no one has an issue with this, after all, Miyamoto is stronger than myself when it comes to combat." This would refrence back to the time when the two were mearly Genin, and Miyamoto had been able to easily defeat Hikari in a one on one spar. Of course, Hikari had grown much stronger since then, but that didn't change the hard fact that the last time the Akari and the Termui met in combat, Miyamoto ended up the victor.

That warning that Hikari gave him, about his language...really at this point it was almost acceptable that every youth in the world cursed like a sailor that stubbed their toe but it was just a minor thing to be irked about. However as the group looked at him, and the sword before actually following his direction Hikari asked him about the land and that he might be better suited to take point for the time being. He was not ready and certainly not wanting to be team lead again...not after his muck up, that got Tsume killed. Though as Hikari spoke it became apparent by the tone in her voice that she didn't understand the area and something was influencing her decision. He could not remember the last they actually sparred. He had lost so many since then that a victory just seemed to be downplayed, but he would nod and continue in the direction at his top speed as he led the team to where His Komodo Dragon Summon, Tatsu, told him to go.
"If we are able to arrive before they enter the ravine. Surround them and restrain them, we are working to detain the fools and the village will decide what to do with them." He said as he remembered his mission with Kotetsu, he was still angry about what had transpired with that whole ordeal.
"If you are unable to continue battling or become overwhelmed, make sure to utilize the terrain and if you have to...end their lives if you cannot detain them." When he finished he looked to Hikari in a quick glance, he knew she would probably disapprove of the way he worked, but he was done being the shinobi that was labeled a failure due to his mission to stop the Missing Ninja at the border.
"Satoru you are on crowd control, once we arrive make sure to hold them down with your shadows. Cole you are going to be our frontline with me. If any try to attack Satoru while he focuses IF they are unaffected the techniques of Satoru, make sure they can't move again. Hikari, secure the sensitive data and make sure that there are no copies in existence if push comes to shove...destroy that data to ensure that its contents cannot escape the village. Anybody have any questions?" Miyamoto would ask as they arrived within 10 meters of the area.

Cole stood to the front of the group as he waited for them to figure out who was going to lead them. Were wasting to much time he thought to himself as he stood there it shouldn’t matter at a time like this who was leading the group they needed to get moving he thought as he tried to keep calm and stay focused on the situation. It didn’t take too long before they decided that Miya was going to lead them through the area since he had the better understanding of the area. Cole would follow staying on Miya’s right slightly behind him while staying close enough that he would be able to intercept any attack that came from the front of them.
The area was pretty bad looking cole noted to himself as there were gas bubbles rising up out what seemed to be the very ground they were running on at random spots and times. With the low hanging mist, cole could barely make out where he was stepping making the area quit dangers for anyone not familiar with the area. Cole would listen to Miya as he gave out the orders for everyone. Miya and cole were going to be the front line while Satoru was going to be the crowd control and Hikari was going to get the data. Sounded good enough for cole as they closed in on the area cole would keep his eyes out for anything out of the ordinary. Granted most things here was out of coles ordinary but he had gotten a good idea of what to expect in this part of the world with the little bit of time he had spent here already.
Cole would maintain his speed with Miya only slowing down when he did while keeping his distance so that he could defend any attack that would come from the front. Everyone on the team knew how durable cole could be and he knew that he was in the front because his defensive skills were better than his offensive skill. Which is what made him and Miya such a deadly team while Miya didn’t have to worry too much about hurting cole he could unleash most of his attacks to take out the enemies.

The team members have been assigned their roles for the task at hand. Satoru is simply happy to be of value. Crowd control is an intrinsic part of his kit, so stopping any enemies in order to allow for an easy fight is quite the asset. However, in order for this to go smoothly, Satoru must be prepared to use his shadows at a moment’s notice. There is no guarantee that the targets have not already settled into their place of hiding. While it would be favored for the team to be able to set a trap in advance, this may not be the case.
In order to minimize the margin of error, to prevent mistakes on his part, he brings his hands together into the rat seal. Though he holds this seal, he does not reach within to draw chakra just yet. This would be a waste of energy when it is needed the most. Instead, he keeps his chakra just at a level such that it is available for quick use without requiring concentration to maintain.
The team moves and Satoru follows at the same pace. He is close to Cole, knowing that he is the best physical defense. The Nara is by no means capable of holding his own in hand to hand combat. An ambush on their source of crowd control would be devastating considering how easy it would be to kill Satoru if he could not see the attacker coming.
Whatever occurs, Satoru keeps his eyes open and his senses sharp. The current location is not at all familiar. This fact puts the Nara on edge more than anything. As a shinobi who’s style of fighting relies heavily on using the battlefield, his uncertainty is palpable to a disturbing degree.
