Spar under the tree's [nk]

Hoshi was annoyed at Ryuka's response. Half of it's because it's true that his right arm is pretty much buggered. Hoshi could definitely still use his right arm but it would only be half as effective and hurt much more to use in it's current shape. The other half is that His left arm is completely fine so he's wrong and Hoshi desperately wants to point out that fact to the Ryuka who's taunting him right now.

"Ryuka.. When did i say you could just simply talk to me instead of continuing your assault. When the hell should you hold this much back!" Not only has Ryuka not used his blade but he's also giving time for Hoshi to make an attack attempt. Just how much faster and stronger was this man Ryuka compared to him that he has time for idle chat instead of attacking him head on.

Hoshi started to life up his aching arm into a fighting stance to show that he's ready to continue the fight as Hoshi now begins to prepare his left hand for a body flicker Ram hand sign and charge into Ryuka yet again. With a left aimed towards Ryuka's right arm.

Ryūka was not too surprised to see Hoshi using the Ram handseal. By now, he had seen the technique being used by Zyxis multiple times, and as far as he could recall, once by Hoshi. He knew this technique boosted the user's speed, but it looked like it would lock the user's body, not allowing them to move freely while it was in use. As Hoshi approached him at his boosted speed, which Ryūka realized was still slower than him, Ryūka moved to the right with his own max speed, which was greater than Hoshi's boosted one still. Since Hoshi could not change direction during the use of the technique, he would go towards where Ryūka used to stand, instead of where he was now. Hoshi would then attack Ryūka, his direction telling Ryūka that he would be attacked on his right side.

Ryūka took a deep breath. He attacked the punch attacking him, with all of his might. Obviously, Hoshi's punch would have been stronger than Ryūka's. But only barely. It would have caused both Ryūka's sword and Hoshi's punch to be pushed back, if Ryūka's sword a bit farther than Hoshi's punch. But what was advantageous to Ryūka in the situation was that the one taking the damage on one side would be Hoshi himself, meanwhile only Ryūka's sheath would be getting hurt. And that was fine, because the sheath hadn't been damaged until now, and was in perfect condition. Right? (If only he knew the truth, he would have chosen any other response to Hoshi's attack.)

After using the Body flicker Hoshi noticed his massive mistake, Which was that Ryuka's speed ended up being too fast for even Hoshi to truly fight against ,even using the hack job of a technique this was to him, yet instead of avoiding the attack Ryuka tried to match it? Was he underestimating Hoshi's strength that much? Well then that was fine for Hoshi. If it was a match in power Hoshi could come out on top. Yet before he lost hope Hoshi noticed major damage on the sheath caused by the use of the iron claw technique. Perhaps he could use that little part to his advantage. 

So Hoshi decided clearly to face the swing head on with his own. managing to hit it within it's weakest place possible *where the hand cracks were on* and managed to break Ryuka's sheath showing the blade beneath it with Ryuka's possibly confused reaction Hoshi could not tell. As now Ryuka from all his back peddling had reached the tree right behind him so even if he tried to move backwards anymore a tree will stop him. With the confusion Hoshi tries to predict Ryuka's next move and Hoshi leaps ,launching himself forwards in a dash/jump sort of sense, with Ryuka cornered into the tree Hoshi managed to aim a right punch aimed at his chest. If this lands it could possibly fracture a few bones not only in Ryuka's chest but also Hoshi's damaged hand. It was not a final gambit. Yet it was Hoshi's all out attack for that moment.

The look of shock on Ryūka's face spelled it all. When he saw the sheath of his katana break, time stopped for the swordsman. It was the second time Hoshi had done something to piss him off, in the last 15 minutes. He was pushing his luck.

Good thing that Ryūka was not cornered against a tree or anything, as he had moved away from the one Hoshi was trying to drive him towards. He was standing in a wide empty area. Ryūka saw Hoshi run towards him, and prepare to attack with his right hand. Ryūka looked at him in a way that could only be explained as him being ready to go all out.

As Hoshi approached him with his fist ready, Ryūka took a deep breath. When he was close enough to where the punch was just half a meter away from him, in a burst of speed, he moved sideways and attacked Hoshi's (attacking) arm with his sword (that was still sheathed. It would have hopefully caused enough pain to the boy to end this fight for now, but not enough to damage him permanently.

OOC:

Hoshi tried to pin Ryuka against a tree but realised there was no tree. Now without the tree in his mind Hoshi looked up at the figure of death standing next to him. Absolutely furious! Perhaps now Ryuka might go all out. As Hoshi went for the punch however Ryuka seemed to disapear perhaps going to his left or right? Hoshi did not know. But looking at Ryuka's face meant he was going for a serious attack. And so Hoshi had to combat it right? If he knew pissed Ryuka he would probably attack his right arm. 

Hoshi Barely got his right arm into a defensive Taijutsu block position (20 power). Yet even with the increased blocking potential, As Ryuka's massively cracked sheath made contact with Hoshi's right arm "AHGAHAGH!"a splitting pain went through his entire right arm as a massive shock wave resonated throughout his body from that right arm. Ryuka had managed to fracture some bones and push Hoshi backwards abit. Yet Hoshi was still standing. His right arm actively limp. Hoshi could perhaps use it to block another attack yet that may end up worse and permanently disable his right hand and so Hoshi had to make a choice. To continue or to forfeit.

No he couldn't forfeit! The odds maybe stacked against him, but still Hoshi's the one who invited Ryuka to fight! Running away now would be the cowards way out and yet running may save his right arm for another day. It took Hoshi a while to realise this but this fight was just a spar and his arm could potentially lose all feeling in he continued. So for now Hoshi needed to call it quits. Even if it went against all his principles he would never be able to fight ever again if he continued so for now it's not so much giving up the fight as it is not finding it satisfactory to fight such a grand foe as Ryuka with simply one usable arm

"Heh Ryuka you ended up possibly fracturing my right arm as i've fractured your sheath. As much as I hate saying this I probably have to call it quits as I can't fight against you in the shape i'm in. Making the fight less enjoyable for both me and you" To prove this point Hoshi wiggled around his flacid arm to prove a point."I'm gonna go rest this off at perhaps a hospital or just at home. You go on with your day see ya!" Hoshi even with his arm semi broken left with a smile on his face. He's successfully gauged Ryuka's power and although it may be vast, it's still a reachable power if he kept training. So with Ryuka looking towards his back Hoshi left the forest to hurry off to a hospital.

Victory. Huh. Wasn't joyful at all. In fact, it almost hurt Ryūka, to see his friend in pain. Pain caused by him. Not that it hurt him as much as Hoshi, presumably. "I- I'm sorry." he could barely say, before just turning around and leaving, heading back to wherever, far too ashamed to make eye contact with Hoshi.
