What a peaceful day! (Ares)

This was Okami's second spring in Kumogakure. It was amazing. The trees in the forest started to bud and display wonderful colors. The air was warm and there were no clouds in the sky, allowing the sun to descend its radiance on the earth. There was a storm the day before so the ground was still a bit damped by the rain. 

The young genin boy went off the training fields that morning and had been training since noon. He was a sweaty mess. Okami panted and drank the rest of his water. Now that he was out of water, he thought it was for the best to get some rest and perhaps grab some lunch. 

As Okami was heading to a near by restaurant that served the most amazing pork chops, there was some commotion in the market that seemed to have drawn a large crowd. Okami's curiosity was stronger than his stomach, he investigated. He was surprised to see that there was a fight going down between to men. They were in an intense fight. They both looked pretty beat up with cut lips, black and blue faces and a bit of swelling. No one was going in to help stop his assault. Okami quickly pushed through everyone to get to the two. Once in the middle of the two, he held up his hands as a sign to stop their fighting. They were about to take another swing at each other before Okami stepped in. "Oye! What the hell do you think you are doing kid?" Okami turned to the man that was speaking. "I'm a genin of Kumo, you two need to knock it off!" Suddenly, the young genin boy was struck down by the man that he had his back turned to. "Don't tell us what to do, kid." Okami laid on the ground, in pain.

Trying to find his way in his new village Ares was wandering around the streets of Kumogakure no Sato. The young Pendragon had made sure to introduce himself to the Raikage before anything else and now he got that out of the way he figured he would go out and explore some more. It was a rather beautiful day which made him think back to the multiple times he got to enjoy the warmth of the sun in Sunagakure. If all days would turn out to be like this he might get used to Kumogakure sooner than expected. 

After some time it looked like he had found himself at what seemed to be a market place. The area was filled with restaurants, food stalls and other establishments which would provide for food and beverages so Ares decided to check it out. He didn't have anything to eat yet so it was random luck that brought him there. While he was having a peaceful look around trying to decide what he would get he was suddenly interrupted by the sound of a violent commotiong going on not too far away from him. He figured he might as well have a look to see what was going on. When he arrived at the scene a large crowd had already gathered around two individuals who didn't had anything better to do with their time than to smash each other's faces in. As expected from situations like this most bystanders were either too afraid to step in or they would just watch as they would find it entertaining to look at. It seemed he had spoken to soon as a kid pushed his way through the crowd trying to break the two of them up. Not that it had any effect as one of them decided to let out his anger on the boy as well by striking him down. "I guess here is where I come in." 

Maybe it wasn't really his place to intervene but he wanted to avoid the fight to escalate any further. As a Jounin it was expected of him to ensure peace in the village and to uphold the law. The mood he was in after not being able to pick his meal caused the young Pendragon not to waste any time by useless chatter. He figured a little flex wouldn't hurt and would have more effect than trying to talk them out of it. Ares would walk up to the crowd while he activated his Display of Power. With very little focus he manifested an aura around him. The aura had taken the shape of a dragon, members of the Pendragon were said to have Dragon blood so it made sense for Ares' aura to take the shape of one. His Display of Power didn't miss its effect as the crowd started to take apart with now the two men in front of him. Affected by his aura it seemed both of them were scared to death as they couldn't even move an inch. "That's enough" the young Pendragon would say. Overcome by fear they were unable to flee the scene. "Arrest these men immediately" he ordered a couple of other shinobi who had shown up while Ares himself would attend to the boy who was still laying on the ground. It was a boy with blond hair and he seemed to be around Ares' age. "Here, let me help you up."

Thankfully, before the two violent men could do anything worst to Okami, Ares, a jonin of Kumokagure, came in to stop the two. An aura surrounded the man that took the form of a dragon. It scared everyone, including Okami. However, the aura only seemed to be used to gain authority over the people. The Pendragon then just ordered two nearby shinobi to arrest the two. 

The young genin looked up at the jonin, Okami regained his composure for a moment before the shaking began. The Lycan began to break into a cold sweat. Fear filled his blue eye. But he wasn't afraid of the jonin or anyone else. He was afraid of the beast that was starting to fill into his mind. The blood lust and the rage started to invade his thoughts. No! I must suppress! There is too many people around.

Okami started to attempt to crawl away from the crowd but it was too late. As soon as he started to push the members of the crowd, the transformation begun. His body start to enlarge and his hair started to grow all around his body. The Lycan was awaken and he was full of berserk rage. The creature roared loudly, scaring the whole crowds. Just as he roars, he swiped his claws around him, slashing some unfortunate citizens that didn't stand a chance against his brute strength. The ones furthest away from him were fortunate to escape. The Lycan then growled as he stared into Ares's face with the same blue eyes as Okami.

When Ares reached out to help the young Genin back up he noticed a sudden change in his behavior. The young Jounin witnessed how the boy his body started to shift and it seemed like he started to transform into something. It didn’t take long for the transformation to be complete and once it was the blond haired boy from before was now fully turned into what looked to be some type of wolf. His body had grown larger and hair had started to take place all over his body. It would be the first time the young Pendragon would come into contact with a creature like this. He had heard about such a phenomenon but he had never seen it with his own two eyes. If he wasn’t mistaken the boy was probably born into the Sanies Lupinus known for their Lycanthropy bloodline. Now that the Genin had lost control over his own body and mind he had turned into something dangerous.
 
“Everyone get back” Ares would yell at the bystanders, but for some of them it was already too late. The transformed Okami had clawed his way through some of the crowd, slashing the ones not able to get back fast enough. Looking around him the Lycan would then stare into Ares’ eyes. The Jounin knew he had to do something to avoid further casualties. He drew his sword and swung it in the direction of Okami trying to get his attention away from the citizens. “Over here buddy, follow me.”
 
Hoping he was able to draw his attention Ares would then lead Okami away from the crowd. Now that it was just the two of them the Pendragon was filled with excitement as it would be the first time facing something like this. The only thing he was worried about was that he didn’t want to hurt his fellow shinobi. Not knowing how long the effects would last he would try his best to keep him away from hurting others while not getting hurt himself.

As the beast rage flowed, Ares attempted to draw his attention with sword movements. It worked. This rage blinded him and made him ignorant of things like distractions. The beast didn't even notice when the other members of the crowd ran away in fear and distress. Some stuck around however to watch the show down at a safe distance. They wouldn't care try to cross the paths of a sword wielder and a brute. 

The Lycan kept his eyes on Ares, snarling and pacing around the figure. Scanning for an attack. His instincts were kicked into high gear. The beast went for the kill. Being 5 meters apart. The beast would charge on all four of its limbs. He would charge towards Ares' side that was wield the sword. Then, with a powerful swift movement, the beast would swipe his enlarged paw at the arm that held the sword. Speed might not of been his strong point, but his strength defiantly something to marvel at. So he would use all his strength in the swipe.

So far it seemed Ares his plan of drawing Okami away from the civilians had worked since it was now just the two of them. It looked like the Lycan still had lost complete and total control of his own body and mind. At this point Ares wasn't sure if he would be able to apprehend his fellow shinobi without hurting him. But his first priority was to avoid innocent bystanders to get involved in Okami's rampage. Fully transformed he wouldn't be able to separate friend from foe. It was only a matter of time before the Lycan would charge in and attack Ares so he prepared himself by getting in a stance he was well familiar with. Putting his left leg in front of the other with his right hand placed on the sheath of his Dragon Slayer that was on his right side while grabbing the sword with his left.

With only 5 meters apart from each other he had to act quick. On all fours his opponent came charging in towards Ares his right side, getting ready to swipe with his enlarged paw. The young Jounin slightly leaned backwards with his right hand firm on the sheath of his sword while he used his left hand to draw his sword in one powerful slash countering the swipe of Okami. (swing speed: 120)
The slash itself wouldn't be enough to kill him but would surely inflict damage to his paw, hopefully making him back down and endure a certain amount of pain that would result him to return to his normal self.
