A Walk Through the Forest

Yoi was walking through the woods. It was the middle of winter and it was beautiful. The bare trees, covered in rough bark, showed the circle that the world creates. They grew, matured and grew leaves until they were covered by them. Then, the turned beautiful in a display of bright colors. Lastly, they died and the cycle began again. The fire-like colors of the leaves that clothed the trees were the same signs that showed that they would be ending. The world wouldn’t end quietly, it end in roaring flame and fire. But not if Yoi had a say. His goal was to freeze the fire and to bring the world back to its best state. His father lectured him numerous times, that Ice Release was arguably the strongest element. It fought the thing that would destroy the world, fire.
Yoi continued his walk, his boot covered feet crunching through the frozen rain below him. The snow was truly beautiful. It showed the calmness of the world. It was a blanket of pure white, coating everything it saw. It created a beauty beyond anything else.
As he continued walking, he came to where his father wanted him to go. It was a small shrine. Simple stone architecture, simple framing. The one thing that was different was it’s distinctly non-konoha stone. It seemed to be made up of weird, light rock. After playing around with a piece of rock for a while, Yoi remembered something about rocks from school. Volcanic rock was extremely light. Well, that was an interesting and exciting surprise.
