In the amount of time it would take for him to pull his line up a small fish would latch onto his hook. He'd reel it in simply enough and look toward the skunk that had a fish of his own. He would then proceed to unhook the fish and offer it to the skunk "Want a second helping?" He'd ask, watching to see if the quadruped would accept his offering.

Watch the hulk of a man undress, Maku could help but feel a little tempted. That was until a red head in a matching pirate outfit at home at a sorority beach bash put her arm around him. Yep, that was better. “Damn it’s good to see ya!” Maku would say slapping the man on the chest and pushing the bottle of rum into his hand instead of a handshake. As customary, Maku felt very little need for odd introductions or odd awkward meetings. Instead, he was much more comfortable just pretending he already knew everyone.
“Name is Taki Maki!” At the introduction of his name he’d squat his arms pointed towards the water, a mysterious twinkle seemed to appear in his eye and his smile caught the sun in just the right way. It was at home in some kind of manga if that was a thing. Standing back up he’d point to the girls, “this is Anri, Babri, Cani, Daderi, Efri, and Fafi.” He’d go and point at each girl, the names all seeming to match, which could lead some to wonder if he’d just made them all up on the spot to hide the fact he didn’t have a clue what their names were. As for the girls they didn’t seem to care.
As the man offered the second fish to the Tricky, she’d run up grab it between her teeth and pull it back to the makeshift bed and made her meal. Seeing this Maku slapped the bigger man on the back, “A body of marble and a heart of gold, you pick um good Babri! Onward!” He’d quickly move and walk over grabbing the boats steering wheel. Putting his hand down on the surface next to it, He’d flux chakra through a seal. Quickly the seal would spread over the boat to the back before it began to self propel deeper to the center of the lake. The fuinjutsu seals had been a nice touch, surely the boat was worth the price on his own head plus a couple ryo Maku would think, though a little hazy.
As for their small journey through the lake, it would quickly become obvious by how massive the lake actually was. As they approached the center a couple things would be noticed. First, the shores could barely be seen, showing the size of the body of water. Secondly, the amount of people around them went to almost none. Only a few boats had made it out this far. They all seemed to be more serious fisherman, clearly going for the bigger lake fish. However, it also seemed there was another reason for going this far. In front of them, and where Maku parked the boat was a floating house. It wasn’t a massive house boat, but had two stories, and a water slide cascading down from one of the top windows.
“Land Ahoy!” He’d shout quite unnecessarily, as they’d already parked. The girls all got off the boat and took up position in the house clearly at the destination they’d always been heading. They pulled out food and drinks and began to stock the house for what was likely to become a large party.
“Come on mate, make yourself at home.” Maku would say to Calin before hopping off the boat and taking up position in a folding chair on house boat looking out at the lake. Grabbing a tanning mirror he placed some red and black sunglasses on and proceeded to absorb the sunlight in-between sips of his beer. “Now this is the life.....”. He’d say an empty chair next to him if Calin desired to take it. As for Maku’s Pole he’d brought it and let it dip into the water in-front of him, taking a position in one of the many rod holders that lined the deck. “Where you come from Calin? What brings you here.”
