The Ramen God (open)

Kamari Uchiha shuffled up to the bar at Ichiraku Ramen after another long day of training. His black trench coat fluttered behind him along with his spiky waist-length hair. The kunai strapped to his bandolier glistened in the sunlight and his black eyes had an intensity to them. Those black eyes of his were on the hunt for one thing. Ramen.
Kamari plopped down onto a barstool taking care not to infringe on anybody’s personal space and ordered his favorite: Three extra large orders of Miso steak ramen with hot tea. Kamari turned around and leaned on the bar waiting for the ramen guy to prepare his food. Maybe he would meet someone new. It would be nice to have someone to talk to other than his girlfriend Mika’s Jonin team and the legions of academy students that idolized him for pulling so many Genjutsu based pranks on his teachers. Maybe he would even find a new teammate.

Snow walked into the ramen shop. As he walked in, the cook looked up and greeted him by his first name. Snow smiled and did the same. He sat down at the counter, tapping his fingers excited for the ramen to come. When the cook walked up to Snow he asked if he wanted his usual. Snow grinned and said yes. 

As he sat he noticed there was another person sitting next to him, hin beingso quiet he barely noticed he was there. Noticing that it would have been difficult to not notice the massive amount of hair that was growing off of the head of this individual. Snow, looking as kind and inviting as ever, greeted the fellow who had not yet revealed his face.

"Hello there! What brings you here?" A semi rhetorical question that made Snow chuckle to himself. He was in a cheeky, lame joke kind of a mood.

Kamari was still waiting for his ramen when just as it was served to him, he heard a voice that appeared to be directed towards him. Kamari turned to see a boy with orange hair and a green jacket sitting next to him.
“Hello there! What brings you here?,” the boy said before laughing. Kamari knew this was a rhetorical question so he was expected to just say “ramen.” However, as unpredictable as he was, Kamari decided to joke around a bit.
“This is a dango place right?,” he asked, silently laughing to himself with a smile on his face. Kamari began thinking about using his signature technique to make the boy think he actually was in a dango shop but decided against it. He didn’t want to make the wrong impression. Kamari really hoped this boy would be up for some deep discussion other than just talking about generic topics.

Sai had just got done doing his normall training routine when he realized he forgot to pack a lunch for afterwards. He didnt have the energy to make it all the way home, so he decided to grab a bite to eat somewhere in the village. Having been slighty addicted to ramen since his first time there, thats where he decided to go. As he walked he feel his stomach cramp, as in telling Sai to hurry up and get some food. Sai enter the ramon shop hungry enough to eat a couple bowls today. As he entered the shop he noticed Snow and another shinobi. A huge grin went across Sai face as he sat down next to Snow and his companion. Sai was starving so he told the chef to make the meal a large one, cause he was going to need the energy.

"Surprise seeing you here, but then again your addicted to this stuff", Sai said as he waited for his food to arrive."Who's ya friend here, My name Saizou Uchiha. PLeasure to meet ya", Sai said as he extended his hand towards the unknown shinobi.

Just as Kamari expected, the orange haired boy laughed at the joke. The boy took off his beanie and spoke.
“So, what’s your name, friend?”
This guy was pretty open. Kamari could tell.
“Kamari Uchiha,” he answered. “You?”
Kamari stuck out his hand for a handshake just as one of his fellow Uchiha plopped down next to the orange haired boy and ordered a “large meal,” whatever it meant to him. Kamari has ordered three large bowls of steak ramen. That was a medium-sized meal to him. He could easily eat upwards of thirty bowls of the same size in one sitting if he had been training hard enough that day. Kamari wondered how he managed to maintain a muscular build on ramen alone, then again it did contain most of the major food groups.
“Surprise seeing you here, but then again you’re addicted to this stuff,” the other Uchiha said to the orange haired boy. Apparently they were friends or teammates, most likely both.
“Who’s ya friend here?, My name is Saizou Uchiha. Pleasure to meet ya.” He extended his hand.
Kamari reckoned he could call this guy Sai since he found the name hard to pronounce.
Kamari shook his hand.
“I’m Kamari Uchiha. I’m not surprised to see another Uchiha here. With all of the pranks I’ve been pulling, the clan has been watching me like a hawk. Not to mention my...”
Kamari paused a bit before he finally managed to say “parents.”
Most of the Uchiha in Konoha knew what had happened to Kamari’s parents. His mother had been teaching him high-level Genjutsu from an early age and his father found it dishonorable. That had eventually led them to fight each other with his father opening the Gate of Death and his mother using a full powered Susanoo. Neither of them survived. Kamari, of course, had his Mangekyo manifest that day, but he had never been able to access it again. The trauma was so great his mind had repressed it. The only way he could possibly unlock it would be somehow reliving that day.
Maybe a fellow Uchiha would understand his pain.

Snow sat in between the two Uchihas. The two of them began to speak about Kamari's past. Snow prided himself on knowing almost everyone in the village in one way or another, but he unfortunately had not heard about Kamari's parents. Kamari he knew who he was the moment he had said his name. He got a good look at him and he recognized him from the academy. "Kamari..." he thought out loud. "You were the genjutsu prodigy, right? I thought you looked familiar."


"Why would the clan be watching over you because of your parents?"

"You were the genjutsu prodigy, right? I thought you looked familiar,” The orange haired boy said. Kamari was somewhat flattered by being called a prodigy. He only saw himself as someone who trained hard and got equally big results. Then again, he was an Uchiha, and all Uchiha were at least moderately proficient in the field.
“I wouldn’t say prodigy,” Kamari replied. “I’m just someone who trains hard and gets big results.”
The orange haired boy then asked a question which Kamari found quite sensitive.
"Why would the clan be watching over you because of your parents?"
Kamari stiffened a bit. He wasn’t mad at the boy for asking the question but he was a bit offended by the content.
“We don’t talk about it.” Kamari affirmed, looking to Sai for approval. He really wanted to change the topic at this point. “If you were there, you would know.”
Kamari then realized he never got the boy’s name.
“Hey, by the way, I never got your name,” he stated.
Just then, a familiar white haired boy sat with the group and ordered a painfully small meal. It was Yoi, and Kamari was very happy to see him. Yoi immediately launched into a story.

“Did any of you hear about that Uchiha? I heard he burnt down a whole house. It’s rumored an out of season snowstorm stopped it from spreading.”
Kamari knew alright. It was the house across from his own house. He was woken up in the middle of the night by the screaming and immediately jumped out of his window to confront the rogue ninja. “Well, it’s said he commited suicide, so, at least Konoha doesn’t have to deal with an arsonist.”
That was also true, although it was partially Kamari. He had confronted the arsonist and used his signature Genjutsu to make him think that he was burning alive with Amaterasu flames, which could not be extinguished by any means. He had ended his own life to shorten the pain.
“Yeah, I remember, Yoi,” Kamari remarked. “It was the house across from mine. Nice to see you again by the way.”
Kamari then leaned into Yoi’s ear and whispered, “You want to show these guys the dancing ANBU?”

So much was going on in the ramen shop today, it seemed like Sai had chose the right time to go get some food. The moment the other uchiha had said his name Sai eye's grew wide but for only a moment, as he realized who the boy was. He had a very unfortunate life, almost bad enough to make Sai feel like his was a good one to have. Sai had heard some slight whisper's about Kamari being watched but as he entered the shop he didnt notice anything. Then again if your good at spying of course Sai wouldnt have noticed them.

"It clan stuff Snow, nothing you wouldn wanna bother yourself in", Sai said quickly, knowing that Kamari has been through something extremely traumatic. He could also see the sad look on his face talking about it. Just then another person entered the shop. A white haired boy, someone Sai has never met before. He spoke about an accident that happen in the Uchiha district not to long ago. Sai hasent stayed on the compound in a while so he wouldnt know much about it. He could see though that the day was starting to turn out to be some adventure.
