Ramen...Never Heard Of It [Open, NK]
Sun Apr 20, 2014 4:50 pm
Green released a large yawn into the area while stretching his arms into the air. The Academy sure was tiring, with all the annoying twerps constantly talking. He didn't mind the way he dealt with shutting them up... The boy rubbed a bloody knuckle off on his black jeans. Yes, he didn't mind breaking their noses to make them stop talking. He twirled his head around to face the doors of the accursed building. A scowl formed on his face as he continued to stare at it. The child wouldn't stand to look at it any longer. And so, Green twisted his body to face the opposite direction of the Academy, shoving his hands into his pockets and walking in said direction. As he walked through the streets of Konohagakure, he couldn't help but notice how empty his stomach felt. Did I even eat anything since breakfast...? he thought while scrunching up his face.
Since he felt his restless stomach still rumbling, he took that as a "no." Green let a sigh erupt from his lips as he began to search around the area. There didn't seem to be any place where he could stop an eat. That is, until, a strange aroma reached his small nose. The student rose an eyebrow and took a giant whiff of the air. He felt his nose began to tingle at a delicious odor. He allowed his head to whip in the direction of the scent, soon letting his legs lead him to it's origin. As he walked, a small building began to come into view, the words "Ichiraku" being evident. Green had never heard of such a place which resulted in his curiosity getting the best of him. Besides, no one can resist such a delectable smell. He eventually started to jog towards the building with every intention of finding out what emanating such an essence. It wasn't long until he arrived at the curtains of the restaurant, pushing past them in order to see what was beyond.
Yes, the smell was incredibly strong here. This had to be the place where it was coming from. Green wasted no time in taking a seat on the comfy, red highchair while staring at the menu above. "Raw...men...Raw men? No, that can't be right... Ramen?" he mumbled with furrowed eyebrows. The boy barely noticed it when the cook arrived in front of him, an expecting look on the man's face. He glanced at the man before sighing, "I'll have that...Miso Ramen thingy," he stated. The cook nodded at him with a smile before getting to work on his order. Whatever this ramen thing was, it better be good...

Kasai walked into the bar, taking it all in at once.
'Strange place. Never been before. Need food though, hungry.'
He then noticed the Genin standing in the bar as well, and tilted his head at him.

While he waited for his food to be finished, Green picked up the pair of chopsticks that were conveniently placed by him. Due to being a child, he had that pesky short attention span, and as a result began to twirl the chopsticks around in his hand. A bored expression was currently dominant on his face as he stared at the two objects. However, his ears managed to pick up a voice, one with a masculine tone that probably belonged to someone much older than he. This didn't help the strange feeling that he was being watched, in fact it only ensured there was someone else near by. Perhaps it was more than one, he wasn't exactly sure. The boy huffed in annoyance at the situation. Did the imbeciles from the academy follow him? Or was this a new batch? It seemed he was forced to find out, despite how troublesome doing such a thing is.
Green slowly turned his head to face the new duo that appeared next him. They were probably here to order some of this "ramen" as well...at least one of them did. The other seemed to be staring at him. Unfortunately, the youth didn't take kindly to that. It kind of irked him, made him a bit uncomfortable. This was unacceptable.
"Oi," he called out in a somewhat rude tone, "What are you looking at?"

Tatsuya looks over to the man speaking. He looked as if he was a nice guy and dint want to make any enemy's as wells as Tatsuya dint want to make any enemys. The tone to witch he spoke to Kasai was a bit un nerving but he decided to stay quiet and watch to see how Kasai was going to respond to his question.

Kasai flicked his eyes to where the boy sat, looking at him through the holes in his mask.
'Does he speak to me? It appears so. Know him? No, no he is knew to me.'
"Food," was Kasai's simple response, as he watched the boy. "Not a quarrel with you, no harm, not here. Only hungry and smelled the scent."
He then tilted his head the other way, and flicked his eyes across and around the room. The boy was the most interesting character in it, that was for sure.

He snorted at the man's response. He obviously wasn't looking at food, the guy was looking at another person, which was him. However, he shouldn't waste his breathe on these guys, they weren't really worth the effort. With being hungry his energy was already low enough, he needed to preserve what was left. So, Green returned his attention to the chopsticks in his hand rather than the annoying duo. He was only able to stay like that for a handful of minutes, since a steaming bowl of ramen was soon placed before him. The same enchanting aroma he smelled before immediately hit his nose. It was enough to make his emerald eyes flicker onto the ramen and his mouth slightly salivate. Apparently it was time, time for him to finally taste this strange new food.
The boy tossed his chopsticks to the side. Luckily, they managed to hit the counter and roll towards the edge, but not fall over just yet. He placed his cool hands on the sides of the bowl and almost winced at the heat. Though, he was supposed to be used to such things due to training with his father and grandfather. Green lifted up the bowl and brought it to his awaiting mouth, soon tilting it and allowing the ramen to pour into his mouth. What he tasted, he couldn't describe, but there was only thing that needed to be known: that the bowl was emptied within seconds. His hands immediately shot forward as he held out the object to the cook.
"I want another bowl! Fill this up!" he exclaimed. This had to be one of the greatest days of his young life. The day where Green finally obtained what the Ramen Gods had graced mother Earth with. As he watched the cook take his bowl, Green released a long satisfied sigh. Though, his eyes momentarily flickered to the side again, where the duo was located. It was weird, but something about them caught his attention...he didn't know what. But, it unfortunately seemed like he was the one staring now.
