The rest of the day went fairly uneventfully. Bishop grew even more familiar with his chakra threads as well as more familiar with his host. But all good things come to an end and surprisingly Jamie revealed she had other things to do. Bishop realised the work was all she needed from him. She left without paying him for his time and seemingly without offering him a place to stay for another night. But Bishop didn’t mind, He was tasked with roaming the world anyway. He supposed it was time to move on. This area wasn’t all that keen to have new people just set up shop and make a name for themselves. So Bishop decided it was time to head elsewhere.

He would start the long trek to the other destination Arc had wanted him to go. The birthplace of the puppet master that he was emulating. The Girl would have probably died years ago, decades even, but the knowledge was probably still there. And so might be the powerful puppets that she had designed. The past was as full of knowledge as the future is, Arc had always said.

Jamie made sure that, when she received her first payment for a completed job of the day, she handed enough over to Arc to probably qualify as pay for the day. Probably enough for that, definitely enough for a few day's stay and some meals.
