The search for Hildr (P)

Taichi rose from the ground with a hunger within him. He felt nothing but desperation to hear the melodic voice from within that cave. He knew the goal that had been bestowed upon him, to fight the reincarnation of Hildr, but not to kill her. He was only to take what was valuable to her, which Taichi assumed was money. His greed still pulsating through his body, he was sure that was the valuable object he was supposed to take from her if her life was not the target.

Taichi began walking through the outlying islands when he looked up and saw the massive tree villlage that he had created. He could see his meditation place that he created. It was a place far higher than any other structure around and he could see it perfectly. It reminded him of days passed when he was readying himself to join the village officially. Maybe one day that would still happen, he did see potential in the occupants there. Even if he was disappointed by a few of them. He continued to walk through the islands, using his Mayfly to sense any type of signature that he could quickly visit to see if she was in fact the one that he was looking for. He sensed nothing. He figured that maybe, just maybe she would be within the village. But that would be too risky to try and rob a reincarnated Valkyrie within the walls of Funkagakure.

Tempted, he decided to go the islands a bit closer to the mainland, figuring he would have to take some risks if it meant hearing that voice just one more time. He used his Mayfly to quickly transport himself to the mainland, hoping to see Hinata, the woman from Volcano that beat resembled the description of Hildr, albeit not very well. When Taichi rose from the ground once more, he began searching frantically, but stealthily for the woman that he sought.
