Kozai stared skeptically into the containment cell. The sight before him was something out of the realms of theory, a mound of metallic flesh growing on the wall. It was only using the wall as its substrate, not feeding off of it, thank god. He had yet to find anything unusual that actively use his own containment against him, but the thought that something of the sort might exist was something that pushed him to find better solutions preemptively. Nevertheless, he *liked* this pressure. Life wasn't worth much without some adversity, even if it was adversity that he created for himself.
Still, the thing in front of him was quite the puzzle. It was sort of like an ameoba of sorts, but it obviously had some kind of chakra within it. He activated his sharingan and had a look. Wow, now that was impressive. The mass of the creature was... deceptive. It had, in fact, spread around the cell in a very thin layer and had used his own sense of color and depth against him, essentially cloaking itself and forming a trap of his own containment cell. Clever, but nothing close to what Kozai feared. Still, this was an interesting development. Samples of this metallic organism had yielded all kinds of bizarre, almost alien structures. He could make a good guess as to what kind of slick wetwork could be a good compatible match for the material, but he was reluctant to try it in any capacity, even experimental.
