Royal Emissary (C Rank Mission | Zeref, Ise)

Mission Details

The young Uchiha was assigned yet another mission, from the sounds of it, this seemed pretty dangerous when were to think about the worst-case scenario happening. The young silver-haired Uchiha was assigned to help a Royal Emmissary of the country get to Hoshigakure safely. He was told that there have been reports of bandits roaming the country recently, and they definitely do not like Haven Country's royalty. That was why he, along with another shinobi was tasked to see this Royal Emissary to safety and if they come across the bandits to deal with them, however, they saw fit. The Uchiha was kind of hoping he would be able to let loose a bit if it ever came down to it, however, with him and his partner guarding the Emissary, that would be difficult. Instead of just thinking of his own plan, he decided to that he would wait for his partner and come to an agreement together on what they should do if they were to encounter any bandits while on the way back to their village.

I wonder what this Royal Emissary is like? Are they a guy or a girl? I also have never been around Royalty before, so I should probably keep my rambunctiousness to myself for a change and take this mission seriously," Ise had said, as he had reached the border where they were to meet the Emissary they were guarding. As for the young Uchiha's partner, they apparently were already given the mission and had already headed there before Ise did. Ise had spotted two figures up ahead, one being his partner possibly and the other being the Royal Emissary. Ise could tell even from a distance because of the clothing they were wearing. No royalty would wear clothing like what Ise would wear, or at least that was what he believed, and he was right. "Sorry, to keep you all waiting. I'm Isemori Uchiha, and I've been tasked to come help as a back-up if need be," Ise had said, trying to be more direct rather than show off his goofy grin that he usually formed when introducing himself to people. He felt so out of place when he ended up taking things way more seriously.

"Lets get this over with", Zeref thought to himself, it had been a very long week for him and he thought no better way to start his weekend would be to get a C ranked mission out of the way. They werent to easy and often required some combat at some point .Zeref wasent in the need for money and often didnt care about the pay out of one , but he had to eat and keep up with his clothes and what nots. Since he was going to have alot of free time over the next couple days Zeref thought it be best to take on a decent ranking mission. As soon as he was done doing the normal things like brushing his teeth and taking a shower, Zeref wasted no time leaving his home and heading to the mission meet up spot to wait for the partner that he had been assigned to on this mission. He hadnt been a genin to long and he didnt want to bite off something more than he could chew, so having a partner in a C ranked mission was probably the best idea for them both. One thing about Zeref was that he had a very good idea on how the world works, the weak die and only the strong survive. 

As Zeref left his house he made sure to look at the mission details one more time to make sure he was doing the right thing and had realized that he was suppose to find the missing royal somewhere on the borders. He knew that was gonna take them a little time to get there so he had best hurry up and get a move on it. Once he arrived at the meet up location there was a man there already waiting for him. Dressed in extremely nice clothes Zeref realized that this must be the father of the young missing royal. Zeref approached the man and reassured him that they would get the job done , even if they had to bring back just a corpse, Zeref had to be upfront with the man, he didnt want to put any false hope into anyone. By the reaction that the father had , he completely understood were Zeref was coming from. Everyone knows most of the time royals are kept alive and used as hostages but there were times when they were just killed outright.

After a few more moments and a couple more words exchanged between Zeref and the royal , Zeref could see another genin running up. Hoping it was his partner , Zeref listened as the young Uchiha had introduced himself and decided it would be best to introduce himself as well. "Zeref Senju , and this here is the father of the royal we will be locating", Zeref said looking at the uchiha. He then turned to the elder royal, "We will be leaving now , wait for us at home this shouldnt take to long", Zeref said waiting towards the gates. He didnt wait for a response from either his partner nor the royal. He wanted to get this mission started.

Ise smiled at his partner, Zeref. He seemed more like the serious type - very much like Zeo and Ishii. Not that the young Uchiha saw a problem with that. In fact, the young Uchiha sometimes caught himself wishing that he wasn't a spazz a majority of the time. He was your typical clumsy, rambunctious and energetic teenage boy. There were times though where he would become serious if the opportunity had ever called for it. This moreso happened when he was training though. "It's nice to meet you," Ise had said, trying to keep his usual excitement from surfacing in front of a man who was the Emissary's father. Zeref had wasted no time in getting things started, immediately taking the lead. Isemori smirked followed Zeref before saying to the Royal who was asked to wait here, "Don't worry! we'll bring them back safely!" Ise had said, running off to catch up with Zeref.

"So, what are we gonna do if we have a run-in with Bandits? The mission report said that there have been Bandits running around lately, and with the Emissary having run off somewhere and they find em, that's bad news," Ise had asked Zeref after finally catching up to him. Surely, Zeref would have some sort of plan hopefully. Sure, Ise could come up with an idea, however, Ise's plan usually was never the greatest and normally required brute force if necessary. If he were to come across Bandits on his own, he'd beat the snot out of them without even giving it a second thought, however, with the Royal Emissary being out in dangerous territory, and with Zeref being his partner, Ise couldn't just make irrational decisions like he normally would. It even surprised him a little that he had even taken those two factors into account in all honesty.

Zeref didnt look back to see if his knew partner was following him or not , but had hard the last comment he made to the royal. "Another nice guy, this should be fun", Zeref thought to himself. He wasent fond of those who were over excited and acted like your typical clumsy, rambunctious and energetic teenage boy. At the same time though Zeref would never let his personal feelings or thoughts effect a mission or how he treated a comrad on a mission. He had the up most respect for mission and wouldnt let something personal jeopardize it. As Zeref exited the village , the young uchiha had finally caught up to him. Without wasting any time the uchiha had asked Zeref if he had a plan on dealing with the bandits should they come across any. Actually Zeref had no plan what is so ever, he thought if they did come across anyone they would just deal with them easily. While bandits may be a problem for your average person , they were nothing compared to Zeref, or at least thats what he believed. He then looked over at the uchiha , "No not really , just crush em", He said in a causal tone. Zeref wasent one for trying to come witha plan for something simple like this, he felt better just playing it by ear. He continued to walk to wards the border and if his team mate was keeping up they should of gotten there in no time. He then looked back over at his partner, "He has to be around here somewhere , lets split up and see if we can find him if you run into any problems yell or something", Zeref said waiving his hand bye as he walked away. Hoping that this mission wouldnt last to much longer and he could get back home .

Ise couldn't help but smirk at Zeref's so-called 'plan'. Then again, that was if one could even consider it a plan. Ise was actually kind of surprised when Zeref had said what he had said. He wondered if Zeo would say the same thing, trying to picture it in his head, although he just couldn't imagine it to be honest. "Well, at least we're on the same page then," Ise had said, unable to help his smirk this time around. In the young Uchiha's opinion, Zeref seemed laxer than Zeo was in his own opinion. Ise had continued to follow Zeref to the border, beginning to look around, not seeing anyone right away other than themselves. Zeref had then spoken, suggesting that they split up in order to look for the young Royal. The young Uchiha nodded and said, "Sounds good to me, and will do!" Ise had said and then went his own way in order to search.

Ise had never been on a mission like this before, however, he had at least one thing that he could possibly use in order to help find the missing Royal. Ise had closed his eyes for a brief moment, then opened them revealing his Sharingan in both of his eyes. As he searched, he began to look around, trying to see if he can see some semblance of Chakra, however, he couldn't find anything with his Sharingan. Hmm, well that didn't help any, Ise had thought to himself as he continued going down the path that he had taken. As Ise had continued to search, still having his Sharingan activated, he had heard a scream from what sounded like a young boy. The direction of the scream had come from a few yards away. There was also the likely chance that Zeref may have heard it too.

The young Uchiha bolted towards the direction of the scream, believing that the scream came from the Royal that they were looking for. Ise had arrived at the scene over top of the tree, seeing a young boy with short dark brown hair; his clothing somewhat matching the father's who was told to wait back at the gate. Then, standing in front of him was a very ugly bald-looking Bandit who had a katana in his hand. Ise had smirked, seeing that he hadn't been noticed yet, and decided to swoop in from above, bringing his foot down on top of his ugly bald head using full force. The impact was enough to topple the guy down to his knees as well as knocking him unconscious. Ise had huffed at the bald guy and said, "Baka. He wasn't even paying attention," Ise had said, slightly hoping for a challenge. Then again, he was able to save the young royal who seemed slightly skeptical. "Are you alright? You're not hurt are you?" Ise had asked the young Royal, who seemed to be a little frightened, despite being saved. Ise had caught onto this, however, before the young boy could be reassured, he had noticed Ise's headband on his forehead, realizing that he was a ninja from Hoshigakure. "Wait, you're a shinobi from Hoshigakure, right? Please forgive me, for some reason I mistook you as a Bandit," The young boy had said, being helped up off the ground by Ise. "It's alright, but yeah! My teammate and I had been sent here to safely guide you back to the village," Ise had explained to him. Zeref probably would arrive by now, seeing that Ise had taken out the baldy that was still sprawled out on the grass unconscious. However, more problems ensued, hearing chuckles from behind them, making Ise turn in a defensive stance, making sure to keep the young royal behind him. Great. More bandits. Where are you, Zeref? I could use your help right about now, Ise had thought to himself. Sure, he could take care of them himself, however, he didn't want to risk not paying attention to the young royal either. Hopefully, Zeref would come swooping in soon.

Zeref had wandered of with his hands behind his head , looking very peaceful. He knew he should of been more alert but at the same time today was a beautiful day and he knew that these bandits wouldnt be much more than taking candy from a baby. As he walked he had wandered if his teammate was getting himself into any trouble it had seemed just a little to quiet but then there was a scream. So Zeref decided that he would cut across some trees that would put Zeref behind the Uchiha. Zeref made sure to move quick and not waste much time getting back, but as he arrived he would see the uchiha knocking out one of the bandits. Before Zeref would jump down and congratulate his partner he had heard noises from below him. He smiled as he jumped down from the trees instantly knocking out on of the bandits. He turned too the other one who had a shocked and scared look on his face, "Dont waste my time", Zeref said in an evil tone as he pulled out a kunai. The bandit in return didnt waste any time in turning in the opposite directions and running away. Zeref scoffs and walkes over to his team mate and the young royal , "Lets leave before more show up", He say's as he turns around and starts walking aways. "Ill lead the way just in case we have anymore unwelcomed guest", Zeref said. He made his way back to the village without any problem as he returned he seen the father of the young royal. "Your son is right behind me safe", He said not waiting for a response. Zeref then left to collect his reward.

Ise had been glad that Zeref had shown up, watching as he had dealt with the Bandits. Ise could tell that he was skilled. "Well, we're back together and we successfully found our missing royal," Ise had said, grinning. When Zeref had said that they should leave before more bandits had shown up, Ise nodded in agreement. "Probably a good idea," Ise had said, and then looked at the young boy and said, "We'll get you back to the village safe, and you'll be able to see your father again," Ise had said to the young Royal, and with that, the three of them began to quickly make their leave back to the village, with Zeref leading the way.

The father had still been at the village gates, deciding that he couldn't or wouldn't rather move from his spot until his boy had returned safely to him. Watching them being reunited had made Ise happy in a way. The gentleman thanked them for bringing his son back safely, and with that Ise grinned. "It's what we're trained to do! If you ever need help again, don't be afraid to call us," Ise had said. He then had turned to Zeref and said, "It was nice working with ya. Perhaps we can do it again sometime!". They then had begun to part ways after they both had both collected their rewards for completing the mission.
